I'm gonna THEORY CRAFT for a second about Animator vs Animation 11. Because there's something SUPER WEIRD I've noticed about the way camera shots are orchestrated in recent animations. Specifically about -

THE LAPTOP SCREEN.

And even more specifically what Alan (and the real world) may look like to the stickmen.

We've known for a while now that 3D space was possible outside of the Laptop since AvA 7 (March 11, 2019).

But the camera angle on the Laptop has always been in 2D space until very recently!

Our first introduction to a 3D environment in Alan's Desktop was Green's Influencer Arc (Uploaded Sept 7, 2024).**

(Look how insanely massive the inside of the laptop looks now.)

But throughout the entire Influencer Arc the camera was NEVER pointed towards the outside of the laptop, to the real world. It is always tilted so that we can't see it.

((And even more weird in this Green's video, is which the left most wall is covered a solid white, whereas, us - the audience - can see through this wall when looking through the screen. wth is happening))

Our most recent scene of a 3D Laptop space (as of writing this) is in AvA 11, where Victim is drawn and killed.

Again, the outside world, through the screen, is never shown. Although we do get extremely close with Mitsi's Creator. But it's coincidentally obscured by the internet explorer window.

And last of all- the thing that got me really questioning this camera choice - is something I noticed back in AvA 10 (Nov 4, 2023). When The Chosen One is having his memory scanned, he purposefully causes the screen to blur as he enters Alan's Laptop. (You have to put it in .5 speed to really notice.)

And guess what The Chose One does the second he gets to Alan's laptop. He stares daggers at Alan.

So what does this mean?

It means the camera is being specifically shot at angles to never address how the Stickfigures see Alan and the rest of the world.

And what does that mean???

I HAVE NO IDEA. But I kinda hope it's leading up to a scene where we DO see the stickfigures addressing it. BECAUSE HOLY HELL THAT WOULD BE SO SICK.

Nah, in all seriousness, I would still LOVE to see the camera angle change for dramatic effect in the "main series". Because it just feels like the hints are leading up to it. ❤️❤️❤️ I'm really enjoying the series either way and was having fun theorizing here :)

And don't even get me started on why almost all animations/stickfigures are oblivious to Humans or strait up don't know about them. LIKE- wtf are all these posters

DUDE WHAT THE HELL. Are Alan's stick figures the only ones who've seen humans??? Do any other stickmen know humans created them? Ahhhhhhh

in fact, TCO has never killed a stick figure directly. ever.

this post is pretty much a compilation and explanation of stuff that i think pretty clearly points to this FACT. i am EXTREMELY confident this is canon

the biggest indicator of this is that mitsi dies to a thrown fireball.

alan gives us a very clear set of abilities for each of the sticks, and although cho and dark both use fire, it’s clear they use it very differently

dark has these explosive fireballs that he throws that chosen NEVER uses. they share some powers as shown in The Flashback (fire breath, general pyrokinesis, flight using fire)

the fireballs are a power EXCLUSIVE to dark.

there’s examples of chosen throwing fire (like in this one above) but it looks entirely different. it’s lighter, airy, and doesn’t explode on impact. alan has made it so clear how different they are in the episodes leading up to AvA 11. the Box and Wanted was practically a showcase of all chosen’s abilities. ALAN IS TRYING TO TELL US SOMETHING HERE…

lets talk about the newgrounds attack.

during that whole sequence with mitsi when she first is teleported into the background, there’s two important details to notice.

dark is leading the way. chosen is trailing behind him IT’S ALL FIREBALLS. EVERY SINGLE ATTACK. EXPLOSIVE FIREBALLS.

when mitsi is trapped, it’s because of a fireball. when she dies, you’ll never believe this:

EXPLOSION. FIREBALL. no lightning, no light and airy pyrokinesis, no laser eyes. it’s all those damn fireballs

my boy got caught in the fray. all this pretty clearly shows us that dark is to blame for all of this. cho just got all the heat bc agent saw him above mitsi and tattled to his boyfriend who controls the media

i HONESTLY would go as far as to say that chosen was there because he was flying over to try and help mitsi. that one is just a theory though. the rest of this post i’m 100% certain about

he is never portrayed as an ACTIVE participant in murdering sticks. he attacks nonlethally (except for dark, because he knows that dark wouldn't die from it) when dark starts killing people on stickpage, cho does nothing. during the newgrounds attack, he does NOTHING. during Wanted? he doesn't kill ANY of the mercs. he easily could've, but he just ran.

let me be clear: chosen is not free from blame. he let a lot of this slide. he was still friends with dark after the newgrounds attack, even if it left an impact on their relationship. he let dark kill HUNDREDS without stopping him.

that being said, victim’s got the wrong guy. let’s bring dark back and kill him again please i miss him BAD

TL;DR: at the end of the day it’s always TDL’s fault and by extension alan’s for making him Like That. let’s just blow up his PC again and call it even

Diabolical plot twist idea: Ava 11 is entirely based on victim’s and agent's memories. That means we only get to see an idealized version Mitsi. We only got to see her story through the lens of Victim’s and agent’s memories. We might see victim using her death to justify all the wrong he had done.

As victim slowly goes insane after her death, grieving over her until her image is warped beyond recognition; his thought process slowly changing:

"I will kill TCO because he killed Mitsi" -> "I need to kill TCO because it is the only way I can avenge mitsi" -> "TCO must suffer, Mitsi would want this"

Victim will use her passing as a justification for his every action, twist the memory of her for his own benefit.

Victim thinks he is doing her legacy justice by seeking vengeance yet little does he know he is the one who is disgracing it by reducing her into just someone who unconditionally supports him, twisting the narrative into Mitsi is just the enabler of Victim’s violence

The only memories of her that we see of her are those where she never show any flaws, never disagrees with victim, only those where she supports himor work with him. 

The only reason why Mitsi is portrayed as the perfect person is because that is who victim remembers, he is the closest to Mitsi which also makes him the most unreliable narrator.

I was chatting about this with ornziy and they pointed out that this could be the reason why the rocket corp employees left, can you really stand the co-ceo tarnishing the ceo’s actual personality, reducing them into nothing but a tragic figure? For the CEO to be only remembered for tragedy that happened to her instead of the life she worked so hard to lead.

The thing I'm trying to get at is that we will never really know who the true mitsi is, all we have are rose tinted memories of her and the actual character is unable to confirm her current characterisation. Mitsi haunts the narrative not because she wants to but because victim would not let her go

So you know how TSC in the warden episode seems to be talking to themself? What if that is the same cowboy-TSC from Animation vs Education?

Okay so... Y'know how victim was tormented by Alan for his first year of his life? And after he escaped, apparently the same day tco was created...

So if Alan tortured victim, who's to say he didn't do it to tco as well? And tco was captive for

FOUR YEARS

There is a very high chance he was tortured too, cuz like, why not? He did the same thing to victim.

And he force tco to block ads for 4 years too

Smth I really don't like is how everyone is hating on tco rn BCS he killed mitsi. Technically, that's true but I still think tdl killed her. And everyone is saying victim suffered the worst and yeah, I agree he did. BUT!

Tco was literally chained to a ball and kept in isolation for 4 YEARS, and he had nobody else there for him until tdl was made. Maybe that was the reason he spared him, BCS he was lonely! And them somebody who he considers a friend just goes all psycho on him?! His only friend in his life???

He didn't HAVE a mitsi to help him heal. And let's be real, from what we've seen, tdl is a trash friend.

So, while victim definitely suffered more, at least he was happy at one point and actually got to heal.

Sacrifice yourself

Context: I have a theory that everyone who died in Newgrounds at the hands of TCO and TDL turned into energy, and that energy is stored in TSC. And I think that TSC could still try to bring all the dead back to life, but at the risk of their own lives. And there could be 2 options: 1: His body will start to disintegrate from the energy depletion (which can be seen on this art) and his life will come to an end 2: He will be able to live without the energy, but he won't be able to use his awakened powers.

For those who don't know, Newgrounds and Homestuck have a minor amount of major history. When Homestuck when on Hiatus for a month in 2011, it came back with a massive animation- [S] Cascade. This 14 minute flash animation was the longest and most anticipated at the time!

... So when Andrew Hussie was hosting it, he got new servers for homestuck.com, and intended to host it on newgrounds as well! Newgrounds, being a dedicated hosting site, should've been prepped for that! So they went through with that! Everything goes fine and dandy! :) ...

...This is barely 3 weeks after Dark was made, y'all.

I think that The Disappearance, The Decimation? I think that's our in-character Newgrounds crash. I think the day Mitsi dies is October 25, 2011.

How does someone watch a stick figure they keep killing her progressively more scared and eventually even hopeless over time without realizing that it's actually a person?

It's simple; by not intentionally not thinking too hard about it and ignoring the implications.

Why would Alan do that? Because the moment he decides that victim is a person, he has to accept that he's a monster. He can't do that, so he has to keep believing that victim is just a program that he can play with. If victim if an innocent person, he's guilty of commiting horrific crimes against another person.

So he decides not to view victim as a person, just a very reactive program that he can have fun with.

But that's not up to him to decide and victim really is alive whether he wants that to be true or not.

In ava 4, when Orange proves to be a skilled animator, he at first wants to use that to his advantage. But he still doesn't view Orange as a person until "it... Talks?" when he's slapped in the face by this stick figure he created talking to him in his own language and suddenly there is no more denying that this is a person.

He feels guilty about his past, but he tries not to think about it. As far as he knows, his other creations are dead and he's the only one left who knows the truth. He can't let the ones on his computer know about it or else they'll know he's a monster and he doesn't want to lose them because now he genuinely cares. It's his deepest secret. He tries not to think about what he did back then because you can't make amends to a dead person and it hurts to look back on the horrors he inflicted. So he doesn't. That secret is buried in the depths of his mind, never to see the light of day or affect his relationship with the cg. But actions have consequences and in season 2, he sees a ghost of his past for the first time in years. Suddenly it's not only in his memories but is still actively hurting other people. The past is catching up to him and he can run forever forever. It's only a matter of time before the past catches up to him and they all know the truth about him.

Damn it holy fuck. So I was right? (And many people too probably-)

He started to be amazed by how calm and peaceful life can look, and see the good sides.

Tdl on the other hand, still treated everything as a challenge, and had that feeling that he Needs. To. Destroy.

Tbh I literally exploded with happiness as I saw a new episode WITH MY FAV CHARACTERS

Damn... I wish tdl was still alive, and started seeing life as tco slowly started seeing it too...

They could both understand life more, have each other... But instead, tco is now suffering for their sins.

I don't know if you guys believe in this theory too, but I think Animation vs Minecraft start right after Animator vs Animation

I don't know if someone also had this same theory before, but I'm saying it anyways

Why does AvM start right after AvA? I have 3 good points to keep my theory straight

1) We never see any mention of each series on the normal timeline/story, I mean about the lore exactly, until AvA 11, we can see Purple, Navy and Pink trying to escape the attack from The Dark Lord and The Chosen One, it's the only moment when we can see them in AvA

2) The "Wanted" posters on AvM shorts. During a short about Purple's life we can see a poster about The Chosen One wanted for capture, this seems out of the context of the theory, but I can only think that there are other organizations more apart from The Rocket Company of Victim (I know the poster is from his company, but just to take out that idea, maybe there are even other more people who wants to capture Chosen because of what he did of what he's been doing, that or those posters are a bit old and still haven't been token off from the streets or it's just a reference)

3) The "King Orange vs The Dark Lord" short. This can be just fan service made by Alan and his team just to be kidding with the fans, but I think it's not just that. Some people say that AvA and AvM are from a different universe, but we can still see this fake fight between them, why in the world would Green have a doll about TDL in AvM???

I'm still new on the AvA/AvM community, I need someone who can explain me this or if someone else also think this way??? I feel so confused 😵‍💫 am I crazy????

I like how everyone assumes mitsi is dead yet almost the entirety of everyone agrees that tdl is alive BCS there was no body.

But when you think about it, how can we be sure mitsi is really dead?

Okay ik this is a long shot and I'm probably stupid but like, just imagine if she was still alive somewhere, hidden in the shadows of a desolate newgrounds, searching for a way out...

Cuz mb the portal closed up before she could escape and she was just stuck there. Also there is an ongoing theory that chosen was the one that opened up the portal, just for Ur information.

Ngl, this is almost one hundred percent wrong, but a girls gotta find her ways to cope! 😢

Still not over her (apparent) death.
