Pretty much. I feel solidarity with rural communities and how the new economy is leaving towns small and large behind but I can't reconcile how they continually vote against their own interests and who they've chosen as their champion because he clearly doesn't give a rat's ass about anyone but himself.

One thing is sure, one day he will be gone, the ideology that allowed his rise will have been discredited and we're all, supporters or not, going to have to engage to build back a better more resilient nation and an economy that serves us all and not the few.
