Proud to be bald! I have been thinking about going bald for the longest time but haven't picked up the courage to do so for some fear of "the unknown". I mean, I kept asking myself, "What if I do not look like what I had expected?", "What if people think that I look better with hair?", "What if I feel empty on the top and not get used to it?" And the list of questions goes on... It took me months to make up my mind and have the balls to go bald... and all of a sudden, people close to me were shocked. But for me, the feeling of getting my hair completely erased from my head was thrilling and comforting. And then I realized that, actually, there was nothing to be afraid of. It felt like a new sense of identity and kind of like a new-found confidence. It's not too bad after all, and part of me felt like a bad-ass.
