I can't stop thinking about how funny it is that Aang had all this secret lore on Zuko because of the Blue Spirit that he just, didn't share with the Gaang. That boy knew that Zuko was capable of fighting extremely well without bending, was excellent with swords and unnaturally good at infiltration and espionage. And then just never brought it up.

Katara's yelling at Zuko on how he thinks he'd be able to find and break into the Sun Warrior Temple while Aang is fidgeting in the background. Sokka starts giving Zuko a hard time about his swords, asking if a spoiled prince would know how to use them. Aang is vibrating unsure of how to explain that Sokka Might Die if he tried to swordfight Zuko unprepared but now its been too long and it'd be super awkward to bring up.

― There have been an increasing number of reports from amateur hunters returning unsuccessfully, claiming an undead mark killing clan targets before its members can get to them as the reason for it.

More experienced hunters however have recently confirmed that this one is no mark at all, but rather a peculiar steppe warrior who is far away from home. The man tells little about himself or what his goals are, but introduces himself as Jargai Dotharl to those who are social enough to dare conversing for longer than a few minutes.

Hunters who come across Jargai have conflicting opinions of him. Some describe him as a formidable warrior who can take down even the most vicious of marks with only his own sword. Others claim that he is all but useless in a fight, dropping his weapon from the slightest bit resistance and collapsing on the ground while writhing from what looks to be incredible pain.

He accepts neither coin nor company for his feats, but rather trades in information exclusively. He reaches out for clues about a strange individual who he cannot describe in any manner of detail, and then gets irate and leaves when people inevitably don't know who he's referring to. He refuses to show anyone his face, covering it underneath a shroud at all times.

Truly not an easy individual to get along with, but most that interact with him will still conclude that he is overall a reliable fellow, all things considered.

Still, most people with sense keep their distance. While the vast majority of them would be unable to pinpoint why, there's no denying the strange air that hangs over him like a dark cloud.

Jargai prefers it that way. The dead and living have no business being friends with each other.

Okay, so I’ve got some designs for Alpha Trion in my AU now

Okay so first off, I translated that top left design from what I drew yesterday at work

I was trying to do a design for AT, and I was using his One design as my main inspiration (though also some g1), since I like how round he is there. But in the process, I got a design that I thought looked too young and buff to be normal Alpha Trion, so I was like “maybe that’s a younger version of him?”

And since I didn’t know what else to do for his design and I thought the design looked half decent anyways, I just translated it to digital today

I’m gonna be honest, kind of like the pen sketch version a bit more, but whatever

But yeah, Alpha Trion here used to be large, buff, and probably not unattractive either. I’m also thinking he fought people plenty too, possibly was a gladiator? I have no explanation as to why I chose to do this other than what I listed above

Optimus and Elita will be shocked to find pictures of the old man in his younger days

I wasn’t really sure how to then translate this design to old, but I gave him some small facial hair, shortened his middle horn, gave him his cape and a sort of slouch, and I guess it works? I don’t know, probably need to do more

Giving him this design, I don’t really know if I feel the smart, probably magical old guy vibes he’s meant to have. But oh well

I also wanted him to have more One colors, with the white instead of the red, but I thought the red looked better. I also wanted to give him pink, maybe even make his eyes pink, but when I was playing around with that pink color, it didn’t look right and I was trying others, and frustratingly, blue looked really good with the other colors, so that’s what I went with. Someone needs to have not blue eyes, I swear

Anyways, onto more character stuff. But to be honest, a lot of it is still ill-defined with AT here. I know he built Elita-1 and then later Optimus, giving him the Matrix of Leadership, and he currently works with Elita in investigating the virus outbreak outside of Autobot command

He’s probably got a complicated relationship with Elita due to giving her an unstable and flawed ability to stop time, along with other general imperfections in her design, but they are able to work together at least. There’s probably also something to be said about them both being combat bots, and how responsible he is for that, which probably now has its own ties into his fighter backstory

I still don’t know what the definition of him “building” Elita and Optimus is, which is why I didn’t draw him with them during that point. Like did he reformat two young bots into Elita and Optimus, giving them new identities? Did he build them from scratch and they were born adults? Or did he build them as sparklings who had a whole developmental period? I really don’t know which one to use, which unfortunately hampers things when it comes to their backstory

And then there’s also the fact that I don’t really know what to do for his backstory. Because while the X AU is loosely based off of Mega Man X, Alpha Trion’s backstory would long predate that. I suppose I could have his more follow the original Mega Man timeline, but what would that mean? Gonna be real, I don’t think the original games were that known for their intricate story and worldbuilding

I like the idea of him being a former gladiator, but what does that mean for him, other than potentially giving him a reason to make Elita and Optimus warriors? What does this backstory do for the story?

Honestly with his similar-ish helmet shape, I’m debating having Alpha Trion’s younger days coincide with Megatron’s true origins, though he wouldn’t come online for a long time after. It could work maybe, I just need to figure out how it works

But one thing I do know is that prior to giving it to Optimus, Alpha Trion was the last bearer of the Matrix of Leadership, and has been the one harboring it since, waiting for the right person to give it to. Not sure how he got it though

He probably also has some issue with governmental authority, given he’s working with Elita independent of the government-backed Autobots, and the fact that he kept the Matrix, despite the higher-ups probably wanting him to give it to them or use it for their purposes

I don’t know, I’ll see what I do with him. The big thing is that I just need to decide on stuff with him, and the other two as well

My biggest Arcane wish was that instead of going to Jesu *cough* *cough* Viktor, Jinx, Vi, Isha and Vander just leave Piltover/Zaun for good and goes on a travel around Runeterra in an epic style kinda like LoTR

In case anyone was wondering, my c!Punz hc's are about as unhinged as they come. Like, him being a wolf hybrid is intrinsically linked with his sense of self and direction in life. My hc backstory for them is quite fucked up but mostly it provides the reasoning why he jumps at this immediately defensive and protective role for c!Dream and why he's so adamant to stick by his side.

(gist of their backstory in pretty much every dsmp au I have unless otherwise stated is that after running away from home they're picked up by a man he only ever knows as his Handler who trains them and puts them in hybrid fighting rings. He's rescued by c!bbh who raises them alongside c!Sapnap and Dream on the MunchyMC server. they start mercenary work pretty early, so there's some distance between them and the rest of the og8 at the start of the dsmp but they never forget their true loyalties.)

Taking orders is all they know. It's the constant they can count on, and they need it like they need air. He can't handle not having direction. He's whoever people need him to be, so they mostly maintain a stoicism. (overt emotion has only ever gotten them hurt)

When Dream says he needs someone to count on, they almost don't ask for the money. Dream insists, says the partnership needs to look as business casual as possible.

But he can't help some of his hybrid tendencies. They can't help rushing to defend him even when the threat is gone. He can't help the overwhelming urge to open his jaws and clamp them down on anyone that dares turn a blade against him. It takes so much to hold back during the staged finale. They have to close their eyes and turn away. (or else everyone would see them change to a bloodthirsty red)

It's why, as heart-wrenching at it is, they're able to sit and wait for Dream to return without visiting and blowing the cover. It's why the whispers of the Egg don't take long to convince them.

But in the end Dream was always who he was devoted to. The Egg didn't pat his head and praise him for a job well done. Everything it promised was nothing compared to what they could have with Dream. The Egg didn't provide the direct orders he needed.

I think I've had too many manic aprello thoughts so uh here's some less crazed aprello ideas and I just realized after writing everything that this got too long so readmore for train boy

-When he doesn't have appointments and meetings with some official to discuss why they should let him build trains and when he can and permits and all that and he's still in town you'll most likely find him in anything close to a blacksmith's store, while he does heavily prefer trains with all their big and small parts he isn't adverse to making other things with his engineering and metal working skills, his forte makes it especially easier though he only uses that to help out if he's like specifically told to or if he knows nobody is looking at him

-While he doesn't anymore as a child he used to stick his tongue out as he focused heavily, either when working with metals or just studying, unfortunately as he got older and his baby teeth fell out he started biting his tongue more and more, eventually leading to him learning the hard way to keep his tongue away from his teeth, they sharp.

-So he isn't a dragon, and I've decided to not make him literally or forte made a dragon, i do want him to be like an honorary dragon, like he's got the vibes enough that he might as well count, like those people who just exude dog or cat energy but with dragons (I assume this is a normal thing I have autism and don't social much indirectly because of it so no experience), and so because of that I have decided

-He does hoard things. Specifically broken train parts that he repairs in his free time, from the smallest of screws used to keep things together to literally a fucking train wheel he's got it all on hand, mostly broken train parts that he then repaired later in his own time. He does it because he hopes one day he'll come across a broken train and he'll have that one part it's desperately missing so he can fix it.

-Subsequently this hoard makes him like the worst target for muggers, because the common thug most likely find any of it of worth just as scrap metal, which will offend him so much, and the more experienced criminals like uh, I dunno the enemy lore exiles I guess would end up victim to his ramblings as shown in an earlier post. You either disrespect his craft and get beat for it or get trapped in a ramble session because you recognise the quality of his collection, pick your poison.

-His metal limbs have a whole lot of features unique to his needs, they've got more heat resistant metals used to make them and they even have a special cooling feature, this is mostly because his forte is melting metal and I can not tell you how horribly bad that is when it starts affecting your metal limbs, so it was kinda needed for them to even work as replacement limbs.

Eng: I just found the most insanest similarity you can imagine: Endou Mamoru is like Maria Robotnik because even if they are happy and positive characters, well… If everything the girl touches becomes edgy then with Endou, basically, character he meets is a character that is alredy edgy or turns edgy (Someoka, Kidou, Gouenji, all his friends from Aliea academy, Fubuki, the dark emperors, Tobitaka…)

Greg's deal with Ludwig to marry their heirs was interesting on paper, but cancelled due to Bernie being, well, Bernie.

You can interpret kid!Emile meeting kid!Constance as Baron Bartels wanting to secure a wedding between his son and the elusive House Nuvelle's heir... but that's only conjecture.

But let's be serious a moment, doylist wise, we couldn't have too many arranged marriages, because the player is supposed to be able to ship whoever they want and even have Billy marry everyone - even the disembodied gremlin in their head :(

There was nothing taboo, or said to be taboo in Nopes, about Matthias snagging an Adrestian to Barbarian Land (tm), or House Gautier frowning because Lady Gautier 1 was an Adrestian - if she was a noble... it opens another can of worms, can you imagine Miklan being Caspar's cousin, if Lady Gautier 1 was, idk, a noble daughter from House Bergliez? Let say she was, Miklan couldn't inherit Gautier because no crust, but what about his stance/role/title in Bergliez? Could he just roll over Caspar's older bro (never named) if he had more muhrit or something like that, and become Leopold's heir - even if he's part Faerghan?

As you noticed, we had instances of arranged marriages with the shadow note about House Daphnel - are we really supposed to believe the traditional House Gloucester, who puts much emphasis on its lineage and what not, would have let Lorenz pick anyone (even if he has his own criteria!) while Erwin wouldn't have arranged anything at his birth??

Jugdral wise we could have some "doomed by inheritance" pairings in the second gen, where Patty would have to return to Jungby as its Duchess if her bro Faval inherits something else (or died),even if she married, say, Ced who's staying as the King of Silesse.

But for all of its supposed "Jugdral inspiration", Fodlan didn't go there, so we will never know what happens with international marriages and their potential consequences.

Fodlan HC : Ionius's great-grandmother (who was a concubine!) was a scion of House Blaiddyd so Gertrude, Supreme Leader's second oldest sister, popped up a minor crust of Blaiddyd at birth.

Of course tensions arose between Gertrude's mom and Ionius (because the relationships between Faerghus and Adrestia were soured since Lambert beat Ludwig during the Battle of the Eagle and the Lion during their year together at GM) and she was exiled. Gertrude was designed to be the first kid to be "experimented upon".
