Web Development 101: A Beginner’s Guide to Building Your First Website
Introduction: Turning Your Website Dream into Reality
In the digital age, having a website is as essential as having a phone number or business card. Whether you’re a small business owner, freelancer, content creator, or simply exploring a passion project, building your first website is a foundational step. But where do you start if you're a total beginner? That’s exactly what this guide is for.
This beginner-friendly article will walk you through Web Development 101, from choosing your domain to launching your first live site. Let’s demystify the process and help you bring your ideas to life online—without the tech overwhelm.

1. What Is Web Development?
Web development is the process of creating and maintaining websites. It includes everything from writing code and designing the user interface to handling hosting, functionality, and performance.
Web development is generally divided into three categories:
Front-End Development: What users see (design, layout, interactivity).
Back-End Development: What happens behind the scenes (servers, databases, logic).
Full-Stack Development: A combination of both front-end and back-end.
For beginners, front-end development and website builders are usually the starting points.
2. Choose Your Website Type and Goal
Before you jump into design, define the purpose of your website. Ask yourself:
Is it a personal blog or portfolio?
A business website to sell services or products?
An e-commerce store?
A landing page for lead generation?
Knowing your goal will help you choose the right tools, features, and structure.
3. Pick a Domain Name and Hosting Provider
Your domain name is your website’s address (like www.yourname.com). Try to choose something:
Short, memorable, and easy to spell
Reflective of your brand or niche
.com or relevant extensions (.ae, .org, .shop, etc.)
Next, you'll need web hosting—the server space where your website lives. Top beginner-friendly hosting providers include:
Bluehost
SiteGround
Hostinger
GoDaddy
Some website builders (like Wix and Squarespace) include hosting in their packages.
4. Choose a Website Builder or CMS
If you don’t know how to code, no worries! Website builders and content management systems (CMS) make it super easy:
Website Builders (drag-and-drop, no coding):
Wix – Great for beginners and creatives
Squarespace – Clean templates, ideal for portfolios
Shopify – Perfect for e-commerce
Weebly – Simple and budget-friendly
CMS Platforms:
WordPress.org – Most popular, highly customizable, requires basic setup knowledge
Joomla / Drupal – For more advanced users
For most beginners, WordPress or Wix are ideal starting points.
5. Select a Template or Theme
Templates (also called themes) give your site its look and layout. Whether you're using WordPress or a builder, pick a theme that matches your website's purpose.
Consider:
Mobile responsiveness (a must in 2025)
Customization options
Page load speed
SEO-friendly structure
Premium themes may cost more but often offer better support and performance.
6. Plan Your Website Structure
Keep your navigation simple and user-friendly. Most starter websites include:
Homepage
About Page
Services/Products
Blog (optional)
Contact Page
Use clear calls-to-action (CTAs) like “Book Now,” “Shop,” or “Contact Us” to guide visitors.
7. Add High-Quality Content
Content is what keeps users engaged and informs search engines what your site is about.
Tips for great website content:
Keep text clear, concise, and conversational
Use visuals: images, videos, icons
Write with your audience in mind
Use keywords naturally for SEO
If you're creating a blog, aim for consistency. Start with 3–5 cornerstone articles in your niche.
8. Make Your Website Mobile-Friendly
Over 70% of web traffic now comes from mobile devices. Ensure:
Fonts are readable
Buttons are easy to tap
Layouts adapt to different screen sizes
Images are optimized for fast loading
Most modern themes are already responsive—but always test across devices before going live.
9. Optimize for SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
You want people to find your website on Google, right? Then SEO is a must.
Beginner SEO checklist:
Use descriptive titles and meta descriptions
Include target keywords in your content
Add alt text to images
Use header tags (H1, H2, H3…) properly
Create internal and external links
Tools like Yoast SEO (WordPress) or Rank Math make optimization easier.
10. Test and Launch Your Website
Before hitting publish, double-check:
All links work
Spelling and grammar are clean
Site loads quickly
Mobile responsiveness is solid
Your contact forms function
Once satisfied, publish your website and start sharing it via social media, email, and business cards.
11. Keep It Updated
A website is never truly “done.” Update it regularly to:
Add fresh content
Fix bugs
Enhance performance
Improve SEO rankings
Use Google Analytics or similar tools to track how users interact with your site and make improvements accordingly.
Conclusion: Your Digital Presence Starts Here
Building your first website might seem intimidating, but with the right tools and a bit of guidance, it's totally achievable. Whether it’s a personal project or a business venture, your site is your digital home—so make it a reflection of your goals, style, and value.
So go ahead: buy that domain, pick your builder, and start creating. You’ll be amazed how quickly your digital vision becomes a reality.
FAQs: Beginner Web Development
1. Do I need to know how to code to build a website? No! Website builders and platforms like WordPress allow you to create professional sites without writing code.

4. Can I make money from my website? Yes! Through ads, affiliate marketing, selling products/services, or offering paid memberships.
5. How long does it take to build a website? You can launch a basic site in a day. A fully developed site with content and SEO may take 1–4 weeks.

Optimizing WordPress Bootstrap Themes for CRO Success
Learn how to optimize Bootstrap WordPress themes for higher conversions and better user engagement.
Source: https://cro.media/insights/strategies/optimizing-wordpress-bootstrap-themes-cro/
Bootstrap-based WordPress themes are popular among developers for their flexibility, responsiveness, and speed. These themes, built on the mobile-first Bootstrap framework, ensure websites are optimized across all devices, a fundamental principle for both user experience and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO). By combining CRO strategies with the powerful features of Bootstrap themes, businesses can enhance their websites, improve user interaction, and maximize conversion rates.
Building Responsive and Engaging User Interfaces
One of the key advantages of using Bootstrap for WordPress themes is its ability to create fully responsive designs. This is crucial for CRO, as user experience is directly linked to conversion rates. A responsive theme ensures that visitors have a seamless browsing experience on any device, which can significantly reduce bounce rates and increase time spent on the site—two factors that directly contribute to higher conversion rates.
Themes like WP Bootstrap Starter and Shapely offer customizable templates and mobile-first design, ensuring users on smartphones and tablets have an optimized experience. For CRO, it’s essential to use these responsive themes to provide an engaging experience for all visitors, regardless of their device. The more engaging the site, the more likely users are to interact with key conversion elements, like forms, calls to action, and product pages.
Enhancing User Interaction with Customization
Bootstrap-based themes come with built-in features that enhance the user interface, such as customizable widgets, sliders, and contact forms. Themes like Futurio and Nisarg offer various customization options, allowing users to adjust layouts, colors, and widgets without extensive coding. From a CRO perspective, these customization options are vital for tailoring the site to align with branding and the specific needs of the target audience.
For example, the CRO MEDIA WordPress plugin integrates with these Bootstrap themes, allowing businesses to capture and engage visitors with forms, live chat, and email interactions. This integration not only facilitates lead generation but also helps businesses gather valuable customer data to personalize user experiences and increase conversions.
Optimizing Performance for Speed and Conversions
Site performance, particularly load speed, is a critical factor in CRO. Themes like Bootstrap Basic and Quick are lightweight, ensuring that your WordPress site loads quickly, which is essential for retaining visitors. Slow-loading pages can drive users away, significantly reducing the chances of conversions. By choosing themes that prioritize speed and performance, businesses can ensure visitors stay on the site longer and interact with key conversion elements.
Additionally, SEO optimization built into many of these themes, such as NewsMag and Bootstrap Basic4, helps improve search engine rankings. Higher rankings lead to increased organic traffic, providing more opportunities for conversions. Using SEO-focused themes in conjunction with CRO practices ensures that the website not only attracts traffic but also optimizes for actions like form submissions, purchases, and sign-ups.
Testing and Experimentation for Conversion Improvements
For continuous CRO improvement, running A/B tests and experiments on ad placements, CTA buttons, and page layouts is essential. Many of the Bootstrap-based themes, like Vega and Scope, offer flexible layout options that allow businesses to easily test different configurations. Running tests on varying layouts, CTAs, and content placements can provide valuable insights into user behavior, helping businesses fine-tune their websites to improve conversion rates.
Additionally, incorporating Google Analytics and heatmaps with Bootstrap-based themes can provide detailed feedback on where users click, how they navigate, and where they drop off, giving businesses the data they need to make informed decisions.
Improving E-Commerce Conversions with Bootstrap
Themes like Envo Online Store and Seller are tailored specifically for e-commerce businesses, providing responsive designs that ensure a smooth shopping experience across all devices. These themes, combined with WooCommerce, offer powerful features for product display, checkout optimization, and user engagement, all of which are essential for improving e-commerce conversions.
From a CRO standpoint, optimizing product pages for speed, clarity, and ease of navigation is key. Multi-step checkouts, clear product descriptions, and review systems can help increase conversions by building trust and simplifying the purchasing process.
Maximizing User Engagement and Retention
For CRO success, keeping users engaged and encouraging repeat visits is crucial. Features like infinite scrolling, parallax effects, and interactive sliders—found in themes like Sparkling and Illdy—can make the user experience more immersive and keep visitors engaged for longer. The more users interact with the site, the higher the chance they’ll convert.
Furthermore, integrating features such as email sign-ups, personalized recommendations, and live chat using the CRO MEDIA WordPress plugin ensures that businesses can engage visitors in real-time, offering them the information they need to make a purchase decision or take another conversion action.
Customizing for a Unique Brand Experience
For businesses that want to stand out in a crowded market, customization is key. Bootstrap themes like Moderna and Corlate provide flexibility in design and functionality, allowing businesses to create a unique user experience that aligns with their brand. Custom branding, intuitive navigation, and personalized content can help foster a stronger connection with users, ultimately driving higher conversions.
Continuous Monitoring and Optimization
Once a website is live, continuous monitoring and optimization are vital to maintaining high conversion rates. CRO is an ongoing process that requires constant adjustments based on performance data. With the detailed analytics provided by Google Analytics and the CRO MEDIA WordPress plugin, businesses can track user behavior, test different elements, and optimize for better performance.
By leveraging the power of Bootstrap-based themes combined with CRO strategies, businesses can enhance their websites' user experience, improve conversion rates, and ultimately increase revenue. The right mix of responsive design, performance optimization, user engagement, and customization is key to achieving long-term CRO success.

Child Themes vs Parent Themes: What You Really Need to Know
If you’ve ever wanted to customize your website but were scared of breaking things, you’ve probably heard about child themes and parent themes. But what do these terms actually mean? And why should you care?
Let’s break it down in the simplest way possible — no confusing jargon, just clear answers that’ll help you make smarter choices with your WordPress themes.
What Is a Parent Theme?
Think of a parent theme as the main foundation of your website. It comes fully packed with everything you need — the design, layout, styling, and features.
You can install it and start using it right away. No problem there.
But here’s the catch: if you ever tweak its code directly and then update it later, all those changes? Gone.
This is where child themes step in to save the day.
So, What’s a Child Theme?
A child theme is basically a mini version of your parent theme — one that inherits everything from the parent but lets you make your own changes safely.
Think of it like this:
Parent theme = the full cake
Child theme = the icing you add on top
You’re not changing the base cake, just adding your own flavor to it.
This way, whenever the parent theme updates (which it should, for security and compatibility), your customizations stay safe and untouched.
It’s a must-know concept for anyone who wants to personalize their WordPress themes without breaking anything.
Why Use a Child Theme?
Using a child theme gives you total peace of mind.
✔ Safe customizations ✔ Easy maintenance ✔ Keeps your design updates separate ✔ Lets you tweak styles, functions, or layout freely
Many WordPress themes (like the ones you’ll find at webxThemes) are child-theme-ready — meaning they’re built to support this kind of setup right from the start. That saves you a lot of technical headaches.
When You Don’t Need a Child Theme
Not everyone needs to use one.
If you’re:
Only using the theme as-is
Making changes through the WordPress Customizer
Installing page builders like Elementor
…then you’re probably good with just the parent theme.
But the moment you plan to touch any code — whether it’s CSS, functions, or templates — using a child theme is the smart move.
That way, no matter how often your WordPress theme updates, your changes stay right where you left them.
How to Set Up a Child Theme
Good news — it’s easier than you think.
You can:
Create one manually with just a few lines of code
Or use a plugin like Child Theme Configurator (fast and beginner-friendly)
And if you’re using a theme from webxThemes, you’re in luck. We design all of our WordPress themes to work seamlessly with child themes, and we even provide starter child themes with some of our popular templates.
Final Thoughts
Child themes are like insurance for your customizations. If you’re planning to get hands-on with your website’s design or functionality, they’re a must.
Just remember:
Use a child theme if you're editing theme files
Stick to the parent theme if you're using it as-is or customizing through safe tools
Always choose themes that support child themes (like the ones at webxThemes)
That’s it — now you know exactly what matters when it comes to child vs parent WordPress themes. No fluff, just facts that help you make the right call.
Need help setting one up? Just ask — happy to guide you through it!

In today's digital age, having an attractive and functional website is vital for businesses, especially for small businesses in the USA. WordPress, the world's most popular content management system, offers a flexible and customizable platform to build your online presence. Whether you're a website development agency in USA, a WordPress maintenance service provider for small businesses, or a WordPress website design company, creating a custom theme can help you stand out in the competitive web development landscape. In this article, we'll explore the process of creating a custom theme in WordPress.

Why Customize Your WordPress Theme?
Customizing your WordPress theme is essential for several reasons:
Branding: A custom theme allows you to align your website with your brand's identity, ensuring consistency in design and user experience.
Uniqueness: Off-the-shelf themes are widely available, but a custom theme distinguishes your website from competitors, making it unique.
Flexibility: You have complete control over the design, layout, and functionality, allowing you to tailor your website to your specific needs.
Performance: Custom themes are typically optimized for performance, resulting in faster loading times and a better user experience.
SEO: You can optimize your custom theme for SEO, ensuring that your website ranks well in search engine results.
Step-by-Step Guide to Creating a Custom Theme in WordPress
Set Up a Development Environment: Before you begin, it's crucial to have a local development environment or a staging site where you can experiment without affecting your live website.
Choose a Starter Theme: You can start from scratch, but it's often more efficient to begin with a starter theme like Underscores or Sage, which provides a basic foundation for your custom theme.
Create a Child Theme: To maintain the integrity of your theme and make future updates easier, create a child theme. This ensures that your customizations won't be lost when the parent theme updates.
Design Your Theme: Use your web design skills or collaborate with a design team to create a unique and visually appealing design for your website. Make sure it reflects your branding and the needs of your target audience.
Customize Templates: Customize templates such as the header, footer, and various page templates. You can modify these templates according to your design requirements.
Add Functionality: Incorporate necessary features and functionality using custom PHP code or by adding plugins. Ensure that your theme is user-friendly and responsive for all devices.
Optimize for SEO: Implement on-page SEO best practices by optimizing your custom theme for search engines. Use SEO plugins like Yoast SEO to assist with this.
Test Extensively: Thoroughly test your custom theme for compatibility, performance, and responsiveness across different browsers and devices. Fix any issues that arise during testing.
Deploy Your Custom Theme: Once you're satisfied with your custom theme, deploy it on your live website. Be sure to keep a backup of your previous theme in case you encounter any issues.
Provide Ongoing Maintenance: As a website development agency in the USA or a WordPress maintenance service provider, it's essential to offer ongoing maintenance and support for your custom themes. Regularly update your theme to ensure it remains secure and functional.
Conclusion
Creating a custom theme in WordPress is an excellent way to make your website stand out, especially if you're a website development agency, a WordPress maintenance service for small businesses, or a WordPress website design company in the USA. By following the steps outlined in this guide, you can create a unique, branded, and high-performance website that not only looks great but also serves your business goals effectively.

Let’s get one thing clear. For the most part, selling gigs on Fiverr means you trade your time and effort for money. A lot of people have no reservations about this. Most people don’t have a problem doing this.
If you think about it hard enough, this is a problem. How come? First of all, there are only so many hours in a day. Also, there’s only one of you. If you are not careful, you might end offering services that everybody can pretty much do.
What do you think happens in that situation? That’s right. The price keeps dropping. The customers that you get expect a lot more for the $5 that they are willing to pay. In fact, a lot of people, believe it or not, expect a Ferrari while paying only the price of a beat up Toyota. It’s crazy!
It gets old quickly and it’s no surprise that a lot of people who offer gigs on Fiverr end up quitting. It’s only a matter of time. Even if you make decent money by doing volume work, you get burnt out quickly. This is not a surprise. In fact, it’s completely predictable.
The good news is there are at least 5 ways you can make real money from Fiverr without trading your time for money. Here are brief overviews of these 5 different methods.
Resell the services of others
If you have access to buyers of analytical work, Wordpress, theme installations or writing for SEO and other purposes, you may want to try reselling the services of people who provide these types of work. You save time and money. You’re just the middle man.
Basically, you find buyers and you charge them a lot more money than what you’re paying Fiverr service providers. Sounds awesome, right? Here’s the drawback. You can’t use this buy low and sell high strategy for certain types of services.
For instance, Fiverr does automatically watermarks drafts of graphics works. If somebody’s doing a logo for you and they send in a draft, when you download that draft, it will say “Fiverr” right in the middle. Fiverr does this because in the past, people would resell graphics services to their clients.
Their clients would ask for revision after revision then after all this process and waste of time, the customer demands a refund. Everybody loses. Fiverr caught wind of this and effectively discourages graphic work reselling.
Also, this watermarking system prevents customers on Fiverr itself from ripping off service providers. As long as you can find buyers, there’s a wide range of services you can resell. Just make sure that you’re not going to run a file of the watermark system.
Bundle services and sell newly build online assets
Believe it or not, there are quite a number of people who would buy websites that do not contain anything. These are website shells also called turnkey or starter sites. These websites generally either have very little content or have only “starter content” or absolutely no content.
All of these are in demand as turnkey websites. The idea is for somebody to buy them and just pump traffic to them and make money off the ads or their mailing list. The reason why people buy this type of asset is because they simply do not have the time or expertise to create a new website from scratch.
When you place orders with different Fiverr service providers for website development or Wordpress installation, you tap into different sources of talents of the different sources that you need to put together a turnkey website.
You then spend very little money putting together this turnkey website and then you sell it right after you have put in enough content, or in many cases, no content at all. This is actually quite lucrative if you know where to sell.
If you want to figure out the secret of how to make money off Fiverr using this technique, click here.
Bundle services and sell sites with traffic
This technique basically builds on the previous technique. You contact many different cheap service providers to develop a turnkey site. You got somebody to design the banners and the headers. You get somebody to install the Wordpress theme. You get another person to write the content. You get another person to modify the theme.
You then put everything together and you stock it with content. There are plenty of writers and video producers and audio developers on Fiverr. If you’re looking for content, Fiverr is the place to go. This is especially true if you’re looking for affordable custom content.
Once you have stocked your turnkey site with content, the next step is to go to the traffic providers on Fiverr and hire them to work their magic. All told, expect to spend less that $200 to
$300 on this project. If everything goes well and your turnkey website actually generates a little bit of cash, you can flip that website to sell for possibly hundreds if not thousands of dollars.
It all, of course, depends on your niche, target audience as well as the overall quality, traffic volume and conversion ability of the turnkey asset you have built. If you want a blueprint on how to do this right so as to actually make a profit, click here.
Buy services that help you buy re-sellable high value assets
There are many online assets that can fetch quite a bit of money. I am, of course, talking about domain names. Did you know that domain names like sex.com, business.com, shoes.com and many others fetch not hundreds of thousand of dollars but millions of dollars.
Domain names are big business. Even if you were to buy and sell lesser value of lesser known domain names, you can still make quite a bit of money. In fact, if you buy the domain name of a website that has expired, it can fetch you 4 to 6 figures. Amazing, right?
Well, there is a mature and stable market for online assets. We’re talking about links from expired domains, the actual domains itself or specialized data like contact information of decision makers in companies in certain industries.
People will pay very good money for these assets. The obvious problem is how do you get your hands on these assets? That’s where Fiverr comes in. Fiverr has a lot of virtual assistants, a lot of people who know how to use all sorts of software. You can tap this massive base of gig sellers to hire people to find high value digital assets for you.
Of course there is a conversion rate here. You may pay somebody $50 to find 1000 domains. It turns out that of those thousand domains, 10 are any good. Of those 10, you’d be lucky if anybody would pay good money for, at most, 2.
Still, if you have paid $100 and your 2 domains fetched $5,000, you’re a happy camper. In fact, if they fetched $150, you still have reason to be happy. How come? You didn’t do the work yourself. You hired somebody else to do it. The only thing you risked is your money.
All the heavy lifting and analysis was done by somebody else. You’re still making money. You made 50%. You can then scale this up. You can hire more service providers to turn up more digital assets and then you can turn around and sell these to even more people.
Resell cheap Fiverr services at other higher value locations
The old saying of buy low and sell high is never going to lose value. It was important and valuable yesterday. It continues to be important and valuable to day. I suspect that this will remain the case long into the future.
If you want to make money, you need to generate profit. It’s impossible to generate profits when you buy something at an expensive price and sell it at a lower price. Where are you going to get your profit? It’s impossible.
It’s all about buying low and selling high. This is the principle behind reselling cheap Fiverr services at other higher value platforms. Believe it or not, there are people making solid money buying services from Fiverr at $5 a pop and then placing ads on higher value freelancing platforms.
Please understand that the order volume usually tracks pricing. This is just a fancy way of me saying that when you charge a very low price, you’re going to get a lot more customers. If you charge a high price, you’re going to get less customers, assuming you get customers at all.
With that said, there are certain platforms that tend to attract people who either don’t know any better, are absolutely clueless about Fiverr or are willing to pay a premium for a job quickly done right. whatever the reason may be, you just need to find these other places.
They can be other classified websites. They can be blog comment sections. They can be forums. They can be message boards. They can even be specialized places or groups on social media like Facebook groups.
The possibilities are actually endless. Regardless of where you advertise, the key is to stick to the iron rule of buy low and sell high. This is easier said than done because you can’t price whatever service you are selling at a slight margin. What do I mean by that?
You have to compensate yourself for your time. You sitting down and checking out Fiverr and sifting through the many different gigs on offer takes time. It definitely takes focus. Insist on getting paid for this.
Unfortunately, a lot of people who do reselling want to sell at a very low price and they think that they are going to make up for it by generating volume. In many cases, this is just wishful thinking. The volume doesn’t appear. You may be thinking that you’re making a dollar for every service you resell. Well, think again.
If you are doing a lot of analysis or research to find the right services and the right platforms to advertise on, you might actually be losing money. How come? You could’ve spent that time doing something else that paid a lot more money per hour. Do you see how this works?
These are called opportunity costs. If you’re going to get into the service reseller game, you have to properly compensate yourself. A general rule of thumb is you should mark up Fiverr services by at least 50%. In other words, if you are getting Fiverr services for $5 plus the $1 service charge, for the total of $6, you should charge at least $9 for that service.
This way, after you pay off $6, you have $3 to your name. Now, scale this up in terms of volume and this can translate to quite a hefty sum of money. To know the inner workings of this technique and how to do it successfully, click here.
If you want to make money off Fiverr, you have to have a system. You have to figure out how things work and you have to be on your guard. No joke. If you don’t have the proper mindset and you’re just doing thing by the seat of your pants, don’t be surprised to figure out after you have done some number crunching that you’re actually losing money with every deal.
Thankfully, there is a better way to make money predictably and effectively using Fiverr services. Click here to get the inside scoop on how to make a lot more money off Fiverr while spending as little time as possible. It’s not only possible, it’s doable. Dark magical girls! (1974-2005)

I've been considering this for awhile but there are so many that pop up in anime, games, etc that I had to cut down the post. I originally had over 20 girls I could have posted, but I don't feel a lot of them are as easily recognizable and the image solution wouldn't have done them justice. This trope is fairly interesting to me not only due the contrasting designs typically between protagonists but also since most of these girls aren't evil by choice or aren't at all. Sometimes, a dark magical girl is just one who opposes the protagonist without shame at first, often times being more selfish and less empathetic towards others. These characters sometimes may be rivals, such as Non-Gou (Majokko Megu-chan, 1974). Other times their actions stem from neglect, which is touched upon fairly well in shows like Jewelpet Twinkle (2010) with Alma Jinnai.
As a child Alma was basically avoided by everyone, was separated from her family, and as a result holds resentment for Jewelina. I'd rather not spoiler anymore of her backstory, but Twinkle had a very subtle theme of its cast growing so close because in the human world they're talented but lonely children who typically aren't supervised by adults and Alma perfectly aligns with this overaching narrative. Sailor Moon S (1995), Princess Tutu (2002) Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha (2004) all have their own method of showcasing this type of character respectively - the female cast member filled with extreme trauma that's no fault of their own, is colored code a much darker color than most (often purple), but is powerful enough to protect themselves and give other magical girls pure hell combat wise.
Another thing to address is how Non-Gou, who is the trope starter for the genre, influenced a lot of future conflicts with proceeding series. Throughout Megu-chan Non-Gou plots devious schemes to harm Meg, but will then attempt to save or guide her. While I have not finished the entire show yet, this is heavily in line with many characters that cause trouble for the main girl who is considered sweet and too friendly to ever willfully harm anyone. I'm reminded of the multiple (and admitedly more lighthearted conflicts) seen in Shugo Chara! (2005), where Utau and Amu bicker about the execution of their goals. Utau's methods of succeeding aren't sound morally, but Amu realizes Utau isn't willing to let her insecurities cloud her judgment while working under Easter. However, she does decide that there are better ways of creating a career that does not involve manifesting X-Eggs.
Depending on how the series is written the dark magical girl is either simply misguided or goes homicidal, which happens in a few works such as Valis: The Fantasm Solider (1986) with Reiko Kirishima. This varies of course due to the logic and circumstances of the series each character appears in, but thankfully most do get redeemed by friendship or were under toxic influences. It'd be fun to write about this in depth, and while I do know Tumblr is used for blogging I'm so used to sites like Wordpress to post my thoughts on. >_<

VPS Hosting Plans
iPage also has VPS hosting, starting at $24.99 per month. If you expect high traffic volumes, or have specific compliance requirements that prevent you from using shared servers, these are good options to consider, especially if you don't want to pay dedicated web hosting's relatively high prices.
There are three configurations for the Linux-based servers: Basic, Business, and Optimum. Basic plans start with just 1GB of RAM, 40GB of storage, and 1TB of monthly data transfers, for $24.99 per month. Business plans $59.49 per month and offer 4GB of RAM, 90GB of storage, and 3TB of monthly data transfers. Next up is the Professional plan, which costs $194 per month.

Unlimited
iPage boasts unlimited disk space and scalable bandwidth. This means there aren’t any real limits if you’re sensible. iPage claims they can support around 99.95% of their customer’s bandwidth needs. For anyone exceeding their ‘limits’, iPage try and work with them to find the best hosting plan for their needs.
Eco-Friendly
In their effort to contribute towards sustainable and renewable energy, iPage buys RECs. What are RECs? According to Wikipedia, RECs are Renewable Energy Certificates. They also go by the names of Tradable Renewable Certificates (TRC’s) or Green Tags, amongst the many.
These certificates, which are also tradable commodities, serve as proof that 1 megawatt-hour of a company’s energy was generated from a renewable energy source. Electricity bought this way, can then be fed into the grid and as such, this makes iPage a green energy web hosting provider.
Customer Support
This web hosting platform provides you with customer support 24 hours a day and seven days a week, through a ticketing system and online help desk. The customer support team of iPage provides you with tutorials to fix any query or issue you may have regarding the web hosting platform. Bluehost vs DreamHost 2021

Do you want to know which web hosting is the best choice: Bluehost or DreamHost? Both Bluehost and DreamHost are popular web hosting services on the market. In our UNBIASED comparison between DreamHost and Bluehost, we’ll help you figure out the best choice for your budget and needs.
Bluehost vs. DreamHost – Overview

Bluehost and DreamHost are both officially recommended web hosting providers by WordPress.org. Bluehost was founded in 2003 and was acquired by Endurance International Group in 2010. DreamHost was founded in 1996 and is still independently owned and operated.

Both Bluehost and DreamHost have a lot in common. For example, their hosting options run the gamut from cheap hosting, WordPress hosting, VPS hosting, to having your own dedicated server, and PCI compliant web hosting. They also offer a free domain name, free SSL, 1-click WordPress install, and a massive discount on web hosting plans.
Bluehost vs DreamHost – Speed and Uptime
Page speed and server uptime are the 2 most critical factors you need to consider when choosing a web hosting service.
Nobody likes a slow website. In fact, your users will abandon your site if it takes too long to load. On top of that, Google continues to emphasize the speed in their search algorithms, so it’s an essential factor for SEO as well.
Check out this article on WordPress speed and performance.
Uptime is a term used to describe the period that your website is available and operational. Usually, uptime is expressed as a percentage of the total available time; “99.95%”, for example.
To test the speed and uptimes of the hosting servers for our DreamHost vs Bluehost comparison, we signed up with both hosting servers and built a test site with WordPress. To mirror the production environment, we also installed a default WordPress theme, added dummy content, and uploaded some images.
We conducted a few tests with the following testing tools on our sites:
Pingdom
Load Impact
Bitcatcha
According to Pingdom, our Bluehost site took 689ms to load when tested from New York City. That’s faster than 94% of tested sites.
Our DreamHost test site loaded in less than half a second, which is faster than 97% of all tested sites.
To test how these hosting servers handle visitors during a traffic surge, we used a testing tool called Load Impact.
For our Load Impact test, we sent some virtual users (VU) to our site and gradually built up to 100 visitors at a time to see how the servers would handle it. Both our Bluehost and DreamHost sites performed well without any trouble.
For our Bitcatcha test, we analyzed server response times around the globe by ignoring the content of our sites. Our Bluehost test site was rated C by Bitcatcha whereas the DreamHost site was rated A+.
Winner: DreamHost
Bluehost vs DreamHost – Ease of Use
Built on cPanel, Bluehost comes with a custom interface to easily manage your website and hosting resources. To improve user experience, they also revamped their dashboard, so now it’s easier than ever to get your site up and running with Bluehost.
DreamHost, on the other hand, doesn’t use a cPanel dashboard (the most popular control panel) to manage your web hosting account. If you’re accustomed to using cPanel, then there’ll be a bit of learning curve to tackle before using the DreamHost interface.
Winner: Bluehost
Bluehost vs DreamHost – Features
Bluehost offers 4 different hosting plans for shared hosting. Their basic plan lets you host a website whereas the Plus plan enables you to host unlimited sites.
Below are a few features you can get from their shared hosting plans:
Unmetered bandwidth
$200 marketing offer
Site backup
Dedicated IP
DreamHost only offers 2 hosting plans for shared hosting: Starter and Unlimited. The only difference is that, with Starter, you can host 1 website and, with Unlimited, you can host as many websites as you.
, they don’t provide marketing offers, site backups, or a dedicated IP with any of their shared hosting plans.
Winner: Bluehost
Bluehost vs DreamHost – Pricing
Compared to DreamHost, Bluehost’s introductory plans are slightly more expensive. However, after the introductory pricing period, Dreamhost renewals will be priced at the full regular price, which is higher than that of Bluehost. If you’re looking for an affordable solution, in the long run, Bluehost is your best bet.
