How long does it take Jon to fully recuperate from his scarebeast transformation?

I can see Jon getting so concerned for Ed’s sleeping schedule he pulls him into bed with him and Ed’s out like a light in seconds

Jonathan has a pretty long recovery ahead of him. His healing is exponential, at least. His health is critical at first, but once he's stable, it's pretty much physical therapy from then on. So in total it's like a few months.

Jo tries his best to take care of Ed despite the state he is in. Being bed-bound won't stop him from caring for his gremlin. Getting him to sleep is definitely an easy one. Ed can't resist knocking out the second his head hits a pillow, especially if he's being cuddled. And Jonathan is much more open to physical affection after being a beast, which helps them both a lot.

Back at it with Gotham's famous 'Ghost Dorks' (AU)! Here's a redraw of that scene near the end of Ghostbusters 1 where the gang is in the jail, discussing Dana's apartment complex.

It's definitely the random criminals that tune into their conversation that makes the scene so memorable.

Also yes that's supposed to be a tooth on my Jon, it looks like a scar but I promise he has a sharp tooth. Who knows what they'll do?

Do you think Jonathan would be a big fan of goats? Considering the fact that despite goats being weird and silly little guys they still invoke some fear into people due to goats being a representation of The Devil

Jonathan loves animals and has an especially big soft spot for any animals that people tend to find creepy or scary. As an expert in fear, he could understand why some people find certain animals scary, but what he couldn't wrap his head around is when people think an animal is evil. As he grew up religious, he'd find that type of thinking ridiculous. The Bible states that all animals are creations of God, so he'd be baffled that anyone who was also religious would think any animal comes from the devil or is just inherently evil. If they weren't religious and still found an animal "evil", he'd still find it ridiculous from a scientific perspective. Animals have no concept of morals and should not be held to human standards of good and evil. If anyone expressed this around him, they would be getting an earful. Those types of people are the reason he's the Scarecrow.

I guess by "maybe" I meant later the same day, because I ended up being motivated to draw both Scarecrow and Riddler in the 'Ghost Dorks' AU. This was really fun to make! Perhaps, I might finish the AU sketches by drawing the final teammate, Harvey. I suppose that I didn't already, because he is not a part of the usual "dork squad."

(Now that I'm thinking about it, would the guys end up hunting the Gentleman Ghost?)

I need to animate more. So expect more silly ones like this. It helps me learn ToonBoom, and I should make animation more of a habit anyway. Since, y'know, I'm in school for animation.

Anyway, I am forever amused by how Jonathan acts in and out of costume. He's just a silly guy.

I was gonna do a big thing for Mad Hatter Day but my mental health clearly isn't gonna let me get it done on time. I do have this one doodle of @batmanfruitloops Jervis so there's that. He has the sillies

The biggest change with Kirk Langstrom or Manbat is the fact that he's no longer a Rogue, but instead an ally and honorary Batfamily member. You can thank @batmanfruitloops for inspiring this idea with their Joker

Anyways backstory under the cut

Kirk was born to one Marc and Meredith Langstrom, with a severe case of albinism. He needed a umbrella to even go outside. This earned him teasing remarks from schoolmates and neighbors.

As an adult, he resolved to make himself strong enough to overcome his ailment. He became a scientist as an adult and settled down with a woman named Francine. After a few more years of research, he made a breakthrough when he figured to combine bat DNA with the formula. However, the results of this were disastrous. Kirk soon found himself turning into a giant bat. At first, he feared this. But eventually, the power became intoxicating. He felt strong, good even as the creature. It drew him in more and more he took it.

However, his relationship with Francine diminished. She tried to stop him from taking it, but he wouldn't listen. Eventually, she threatened divorce, and that led Kirk to go on a rampage as the beast across Gotham. Batman managed to stop him, and decided to take pity on the scientist after hearing his court testimonial. He offered to help him curve the formula's more negative effects and help him tame the beast.

Now, Kirk works as a part time vigilante alongside Batman. Him and Francine even repaired their relationship and he has a job under Wayne Industries' science division. Things are good for him. Although, a disturbing trend of people attempting to recreate his experiments with other animal DNA has popped up more. But it'll be fine, right?
