brain immediately drew a connection to the lore on this season’s “campaign” armor helmet- Sloane thinking abt the line between Eris and Hive being blurred, while the line of herself and Taken has to remain solid as to keep herself alive.

I kinda see Eris removing her mask as accepting her scars- and knowing she is safe in her own definition.

also, the maniacal laughter bit is 100% understandable. She just got a major theory proven. If I were in her shoes about something like that for the Complex, I’d be the exact same way. Go off, queen, you earned it.

I know it’s been brought up by others- Books of Sorrow, Verses 3:6, 3:8, 3:9

But the second half of it is Sororicide, Verse 8:6: [SHE WILL TAKE UP YOUR WEAPON, WHICH IS ALL THAT YOU ARE, AND SHE WILL CONJURE YOU BACK WITH HER UNDERSTANDING.]

Xivu is banking on us learning to Take. She wants Oryx back, because He’s the proof She needs to keep existing. With Him gone, She’s afraid that She’ll lose her right to exist too. Compensation for the Timid Truth.

There’s concrete evidence in the seasonal artifact that Oryx communed with the Winnower, not the Witness. It calls out Verse 4:2 “Majestic, Majestic” of the Books of Sorrow, and defines the speaking entity as the Winnower. By name.

I can’t remember if the speaking entity was ever called “Winnower” in anything other than Unveiling, but now we can draw direct lines between the two books.

This is a problem, for hopefully-evident reasons.

It’ll likely be explained as the season progresses, but the whole “The Witness commanded Rhulk to subjugate the Worms and trick the Krill” thing in Witch Queen called into question what the Winnower’s deal was (1). Oryx knows it only as “The Deep.” I dunno if even HE knew that the Syzygy was a lie.

We don’t know ANYTHING about the Winnower other than what the Books of Sorrow (2) and Unveiling (4) tell us.

It’s at this point that I must admit my Shattered Suns knowledge is. not the best. Sorry, Rhulk lovers, I never managed to do the raid and haven’t gotten around to reading its entries on Ishtar yet, whoopsies.

We know the Books of Sorrow to be a biased, malevolently-edited account. It has vital information, but we can’t rely on it in good faith. Books of Sorrow, Verse 4:11 “Dreadnaught”- “I am Savathûn, insidious […] I graffiti this notice for you […] These Books are full of lies!” (3)

This statement from the Witch-sister provides a paradox. To attempt to understand this paradox feeds the exercise of Auryx’s throne. To fail to understand this paradox feeds Imbaru. Leave it as it is- a notice- and seek no further depths.

Unveiling is canonically in-universe propaganda, given to us by The Witness (or the Winnower? WQ “retcon” (is it a retcon?) makes that complicated). At the time of its release, we believed the Winnower to be its distributor. Fuck if I know how that situation is going nowadays- I checked out of the debate club during SotRisen and promptly forgot about it. Literally only just remembered it at the start of writing this segment of the post. Fuckin’ell, BL+WQ was weird with that lore in retrospect.

The voices that you can uncommonly hear in the Dreadnaught aren’t the Osmium siblings as we know them.

I’ve only heard one so far- and it was Xi Ro, not Xivu Arath. I know there’s at least one of Aurash, and I wouldn’t be surprised if there was one of Sathona too. Hell, it’d be funny as fuck (and perfectly on-brand) if Sathona’s was buried in the files and we could only find it via datamines. Bonus points if it’s just a red herring (1).

The line of “Xivu’s horde has entered Sol through the Dreadnaught” didn’t really make sense to me? Like, Her brood has been here for a while. We saw them in Hunt, Lost, Seraph, Deep, Witch- they’ve been present!

And the choice of Hidden Swarm for their models also makes me wonder. I thought post-Shadowkeep, the Hidden Swarm swore to Savathûn? It’s a major part of Kelgorath’s origins that he scraped the red from his chitin when renouncing the Witch-sister and swearing loyalty to Xivu

so unless I missed something where their allegiance changed again (as they were previously descendants of Crota)…

Torobatl mentioned! Valus Forge being a good friend and advisor to Caital! Thinking of the Ulurant people not just by the militaristic nature Humanity often sees them by, but as survivors.

Tbh I’m not an Uluran lore expert (most of my fascination lies in the Eliksni, Hive, and Vex), but it’s an interesting angle to see, and it continues a thread that could be explored in Frontiers- leaving the Sol system and reclaiming Torobatl from a now-mortal Xivu.

Keit’ehr. How do I even start with this motherfucker.

First off, she’s actually kinda intimidating. She shows up out of nowhere with no signs to her arrival other than weird vibes, then immediately overwhelms two ancient Guardians with centuries of combat experience under their belts- killing one and almost managing to do the same to the other.

Not to mention, she seems… smarter than other Dread we’ve encountered. More personality. She LAUGHED when Eris shot her face. I know the Dread have their own language, but the Disciples are clearly more sapient than the foot soldiers. Something’s weird with Keit’ehr, because she’s not only acting on her own, but she’s leading other Dread and Taken as well.

Also, she’s Taken, which normally ISN’T A THING THAT HAPPENS TO PEOPLE ANYMORE since Savathûn hasn’t done it since Arrivals, and Xivu straight-up can’t (as far as I’m aware). Drifter actually calls this out in the opening EDZ mission- you can kill Taken, but they’ll just reform in the Sea of Screams. Making new ones requires knowledge held on Tablets of Ruin (or known by The Deep and The Worms).

Adding on to this point, Keit’ehr is Taken and sapient. There’s a very short list of characters who’re like that- Quria, Riven, Nokris, Sloane (and maybe a few from TTK that I wasn’t in the fandom yet to experience). This behavior- alongside the Dire mutations in the Taken- is an anomaly that must be monitored.

Also-also, where has Keit’ehr been this whole time (during Echoes and Revenant)? Was she chasing the Echo through the stars, waiting for it to land? She’s way ahead of all of us, but not to the degree that she’s already won. WHERE DID SHE COME FROM?????

This fucker is fascinating to me, and I hope she stays this way (mysterious) until at least mid-Act 2. I’m fed up with the big-bad being someone who we already know in-ways and out. We didn’t see this level of oomph with Fikrul (subjective), and Maya’s equivalent “big reveal moment” was iffy at best (subjective) because basically everyone (biased) knew from Day One (exaggeration) that it was her (exaggeration).

I want a mystery to chase. Keit’ehr provides that mystery, and I’m all for it.

1. i think my favorite oc to draw changes every now & again, right now its lenarr ÷) i think for the Longest time it was tix but ive been having weird issues drawing him lately for some reason

2. lenarr is Also my favorite design ive ever made….indie is probably my 2nd best. also i know lenarrs design is good bc in like the 8-9yrs ive had him his design has changed exactly Once and it was pretty minor

3. THIS ONES RLLY FUN…theres a couple i wish were real SO BAD. i think my personal favorite episode is either “the curious case of the computer caper” (funny detective cliche episode) OR “carpe diem” (silly bodyswap cliche episode). for actually plot relevant ones i think “piranha (pt 1&2)” is my favorite its pretty good. s2 in general is some of my best work in my personal opinion.. ALSO. “yours mine & mine” is pretty good too its Definitely important especially regarding tixs character + how he thinks. “the letter” is also one i do think abt a decent amount bc i lovie my cutiepoo boyfailure LOL

4. I THINK THE MOST IMPORTANT RELATIONSHIP at least plotwise is probably lenarr & tix. its REALLY complex especially in s4. its like. it starts out as kind of like a reluctant mentorship but as the story progresses & they both get to know each other better the relationship gets much more involved and way closer, almost to the point that tix almost cares for lenarr like a “son(??)” even if he's too proud to admit it. ofc this changes temporarily when lenarr realizes tixs Actual motives obviously he feels EXTREMELY betrayed & has to work up to trusting him again. also tix & zachs relationship even before theyre dating is really good…

5. for sibling dynamics i think the most interesting one is indie & her brother…its really complicated especially on indies end bc as much as she Wants to be close with her brother again she cant really forgive him for leaving (this wasnt really anyones fault, it was a really hard situation but indie copes with it by just blaming pèpîne). i think my favorite sibling/family dynamic is either tix & daffy (i have a post somewhere explaining why way more in depth here) or griff and his sisters (i didnt put them on the chart bc i just ran out of room LOL, also theyre only in 2 or 3 episodes). i think lenarr & ruben or tix & daffy are definitely the most important plotwise tho

6. DAFFY IS AWESOME i didnt make her my bff did i think in like 2020 or 2021?? i just like tweaked it a bit to match the artstyle. so huge props to him for the idea & the original design (i have pics of his 1st concepts of her ill post them on here 4 u), shes basically the fucking cornerstone of s5…basically shes hydro & merediths daughter & tixs half-sister. tix does NOT like her at first, its basically the same as how a jealous 7 y/o only child feels when they get a new sibling. although he has his reasons to think that, thats explained in the post i linked. on her dads side she has a close like pseudo-familial relationship with his henchmen, and its similar on her moms side too w/ the castle staff but probably to a lesser extent since its a more “professional” environment. shes very sweet & is basically a 4ft tall puppydoggie..also she & tiabi have a more sibling-like relationship despite daffy technically being tiabis aunt. also i think shed look more similar to her mumma when she grows up…

OMG so I just got a cute headcannon for @phoenix-manga 's Diamond Crown Academy!! So I think Allison is a big fan of movies and she and Madison would binge watch movies together, which would make their father furious because they weren't practicing being 'ladylike' and it was a way of them rebelling against his values. I think they brought the movie watching to DCA, they would invite the dorm leaders to Futterwacken, even the general chaos of the dorm would not deter them, they would totally introduce the other dorm leaders, especially the girls or princesses who were not quite exposed to 'binge watching' movies, such as Briar or maybe Vidya and Kore ( My DCA dorm leader oc twisted from Megara from Hercules) and they'd fall down a rabbit hole (XDD Alice in wonderland reference💀) I think after they've watched movies at the Futterwacken Lounge Room, eventually they would expand the movie dates to each one of their dorms, (except Coquille, unless there's an accessible way idk), Pommeneige, Glastanzerin, Dragonstone, etc. They would bring popcorn and other snacks that they enjoy or are native to their culture. I'd think that Perrine would bring one of her....interesting food combinations to the movie nights that would gross the other girls out lmao. They would bicker in the beginning about what movies to watch, not calling names, Evonie and Allison LMAO, The others would eventually come up with a solution, each of the girls would get to choose whichever movie they wanted on the movie nights according to dorm order so Evonie, then Ella, Allison, etc. The girls would make up theories and conspire amongst themselves as to how the movie would progress and if there would be a plot twist, although some might get shushed by the others who were trying to listen to the dialouge😝. They have movie nights once a week on any day they're all free. The teachers and even headmistress allows it bc they think that the girls bonding over movies is adorable. Also, Puchi would definately want to join and snuggle under soft blankets while eating popcorn LOL.

Now, when it comes to personal preferences i think each of the girls would like different genres. Firstly Allison would love comedies, prank shows, really anything to do with fun and chaos. Evonie, Vidya, Kore and Jinlong would like movies with a strong female lead, who fights for what she believes is right and is confident in her goals and what she wants, the girls would feel inspired and overall motivated. Maybe Vidya would like whatever the twisted wonderland version of bollywood films are, she might get confused with the drama and the overly dramatic music that comes up during the arguement scenes tho. Ella would like a rom-com, maybe a cheesy love story that makes the others uncomfortable, with a charming prince like male lead and lots of lovey doveyness. Cerule would probably like i envision a kdrama for some reason. Something with a 'follow your heart and dreams' message. For Rozeline, i have many hcs. She'd like mystery and crime solving shows, something with a lot of thinking out of the box. But maybe she would also like horror and gore. Its funny imagining Rozeline watching horror jumpscares calmly while everyone else is shaking in their seats lmaoo. Elu may like a nature documentary or something that pertains to her likes of navigation. Perrine would enjoy cooking shows for new ideas and inspiration to add to her recepies. Lastly, Briar would like something family oriented, like a story where a found family is developed, it would make her both happy and sad because she longs for a loving family (SJFKFKRKEK I LOVE BRIAR SO MUCH THE MUNCHKIN NEEDS A BIG HUG ). I also have hcs of what my DCA OC dorm leaders would like to watch. Firstly Holly, (Twisted from Rapunzel from Tangled) would like a thriller or just something with adventure and exploring with plot twists. I already talked abt Kore so lets move on, Noelle (Twisted from Elsa from Frozen) would like something to hate watch, like a rom-com. She thinks romance is overrated and she watches romcoms for the sole purpose of writing page long reviews on how bad it was💀💀.

Bonus: If Yuu and Sophie joined their movie nights one night and Yuu brought the OG disney princess films from their world, and the girls are watching the movies and are just confused because, why do those princesses/heroines in the films look similar to their dorm founders, and by extent, themselves. And why do the villains remind them of certain wild boys from a prestegious school. Sophie would be a mix of curious, confused and excited while Yuu would just snicker in the background like the smug lil bug they are bc they know whats going on and decided to be a menace. XDDD but thats just my little hc on the girls hehe

tatsumi here in my game is so funny bc he keeps acting in character, aka, chaotic as fuck!! he loves the foods everyone hates, says he swallows giant MP candies in one go, definitely has the ability to kill whenever he wants but simply chooses not to which is somehow scarier . Even tho i gave him the kind trait, hes got threatening :) vibes, yknow. he has loves both mayoi and kaname #polyamory. cleric!

rinne has the laid back trait, and he hates literally every single food for some reason?? 🥲 im sorry man. i dont have him set up for anyone rn, but i might do something with niki or develop his relationship w hiiro later on as the story progresses. i have niki and hiiro as npcs but im planning to use them for when my main team eventually gets kidnapped lol. hes a thief

finally, mayoi!! my main chara and hero, he loves and cares for his team so much. esp kaname! he feels very strongly abt him and wants him to be happy and safe. sometimes falls into ocd thought spirals because he convinces himself his genuine love and affection for him is smth perverse and wrong. but he understands how his brain is and knows hes just being 🫠. anyway hes a mage !!!! and lowkey has a giant crush on rinne too

i definitely want to turn mayoi into a cat or an imp when the option comes up. so maybe my story will change entirely when that happens bc the thought of imp mayoi wanting to protect this cutesy popstar kaname is super adorable to me. plus imp mayoi and cleric tatsumi!! YES!!!!!!!!!! i love it so much

How long have you had your writing Tumblr/Writeblr?

been on tumblr in some way since like 2013. been on writeblr specifically since like 2020-2021... ish?

What led you to create it?

ended up leaving twitter (back when it was still twitter) around the time the pandemic happened. i wanted to get back into tumblr because i'd been focusing mostly on twitter for awhile and the yeehan community/my old friends kinda weren't doing shit for me so i wanted to focus more on my original stuff. so i ended up making a writeblr when i heard that was a thing.

What’s your favorite thing about the Writeblr community?

how we really do just be on here talking about our blorbos and having a good time. its nice to have a place to escape with people who also get the importance of not being connected to reality at all times.

Is there anything you’d like to see more of on your dash?

i feel like ask games have kind of died down compared to how they were a few years ago so it'd be nice to make a resurgance of that.

What tips/advice do you have for someone who made a Writeblr today?

honestly just post what makes you happy and actually interact with other people. just trying to promote your own stuff doesn't really work (unless you're an artist tbh) but interacting with other people and making posts talking about what you're making with enthusiasm instead of the "woe is me idk how to talk about my wips but i hope someone will talk with me... :((" like bro idk just talk about it. have a good time. you don't have to follow for follow or follow someone just bc they're a writeblr either i kinda hate that shit. like only follow me if you're actually interested in my shit and vice versa. but that's just a pet peeve. tumblr isn't twitter we are about having a good time here not about promo.

that's a funny way to put this. rn its mostly been tcol just because i've been on a worldbuilding history kick because i've been cramming my brain full of a fucking alternate history youtube channel that my brain is mildly hyperfixated on. but my brain kinda flip flops around to any of my main wips when its convenient.

How long have you been working on them?

tcol's a wip i've had since i was 12 so like. pff 14 years at this point? jesus it sounds so old when i put it like that. paramour just had its 3 year anniversary on 6/19. vdtrt i've also had since 12. btaf is a couple of months old. like. maybe 2 months old lmao.

Do you remember what inspired them/what got you started?

tcol -> the video game etrian odyssey, lotr, history (in general) paramour -> there's so many influences frfr. but the original start was crimson peak and wanting to make something like that but also beauty and the beast and goth lit or whatever vdtrt -> percy jackson btaf -> twilight, but specifically the bella pregnancy arc

How much time, in your best estimation, do you spend thinking about them?

literally all day every day in some capacity

When someone asks the dreaded, “What do you write about,” question, what do you usually say?

"fantasy" i don't really talk to people about my writing at all in general irl anymore tho. just sets up for annoyance and disappointment.

What do you want to say (if it’s different from what you do say)?

"fantasy" like. i really don't like people knowing about my wips esp if i don't think they have the bandwidth to appreciate them. not to sound uppity but like ik the people who i'm around and the shit that intrigues them is just worlds away from what i'm writing whether it be because its fantasy, because it's horror, or because it's queer.

Who comes the most naturally for you to write?

hya and amon are the easiest to write because i've written them the most. darren is a close second but not first because his whole thing about not using adverbs really trips me up.

Do you ever cringe at them?

nah. i don't cringe at them. i disdain at them. but not really cringe. i get really bad secondhand embarrassment so i don't tend to make characters that make me have that actually cringe reaction.

How much control do you feel you have over your characters?

kinda a weird question for me but tbh i feel like its sort of a 50-50 situation. i tend to make characters firstly out of some utility (aka i need a character to fulfill this role in the plot) and then as i develop them its like the two of us become collaborators on writing the story together. sometimes characters can be a bit stubborn about what they do or don't tell me about their backstories (hya is notorious for this) but for the most part they can't really "hide" things from me or wholly not do what i want them to do. a lot of times i'm going to put them in a situation anyway, they just need to tell me how they'll react to it. if any of that makes sense.

Do you enjoy people asking questions about your characters?

of course :) i sound kind of dead in this questionaire because i'm at work ready to kms. but, sending me asks or talking to me on discord/tumblr messages about any of my idiots is always loved

What makes you want to follow another Writeblr account?

i look at the vibes of the account, who they are, if they have an intro and what kind of wips they're writing. i mostly only follow people if i see that their wips interest me. some exceptions can be made, ie: if they interact with a lot of my stuff first and we become friendly and i'm not following them i'll follow after the fact and then get invested in whatever they're doing. but on initial contact i like to see who you are and if your wips are interesting to me.

What makes you decide against following?

wips don't interest me or have things in their wips/in their sphere of focus that i just don't care about or aren't really my cup of tea. like let's say someone puts in their wip/personal intro that they hate fantasy. i write fantasy all the time. so like. probably not gonna follow you. that kind of thing.

Do you interact with non-mutuals often?

not often? i wouldn't mind it bc i actually don't follow that many people (always under 100) but this is bc i can't keep up with people that much and i want to make sure i properly give attention to others if i'm going to be invested in them. but like. i enjoy talking to people about my shit so like. /shrug. i have way more followers than i follow which is why i mentioned i hate when people follow me just bc i'm another writeblr lol. i'd much rather you follow me because you have interest in Me but like, i can't control people frfr.

Do your mutuals’ characters occupy space in your noodle?

yeah! that's why i try to keep who i follow kind of in lower ranges. i have bad memory and it takes me awhile to warm up to people, but when i follow someone its because i want to be friendly and get invested in what they do. so like, i try to do that. i'm not the best but i do try.

Might as well Try this whole... Schedule thing out for a New Year's Resolution. Below are stories that I am working on/will be working on in the coming year, that will stop being on hiatus and will be updated by me. Or else.

World of Warcraft:

PSTD: My Oc's World of Warcraft story that takes place on an Alternate Azeroth! Canon is OUT the window, and everyone ends up traumatized because of it.

Come Together: The sequel to PSTD, will probably not be a thing until much later next year, since I'm only on chapter 3 of PSTD (Which I'm soft rewriting, I like whatever I did last time for once.)

Death And All His Friends (Viva La Vida): Eventual Fairshaw fic in which both Flynn and Taelia are turned into Death Knights following a tragedy at sea.

After All This Time, It's Still You: Katiann thinks back on the last ten years. (Half completed, two chapters whole moly my second completed fic soon??) Katiann's first sidestory.

Time Stands In A Duel (And I Stand For You) *TSIAD for short* My only GL Story currently. I haven't looked at it since I made it and I thought it was horrible, but I got a comment saying they were wondering when I was going to write the next chapter, sooo ITS BACK BABY. Eventually.

The Only Ones: An unpublished fic in progress where Lloyd and Pixal time travel back to the events of season three. We need more Lloyd and Pixal friendship.

An Unlikely Team: The RWBY/Ninjago Crossover. Long before time had a name, Ninjago was besieged by the forces of darkness, creatures of Grimm.

Legend state that the great and powerful Oni had left them behind as a warning that they would truly never be gone from the realm, and have spawned indefinitely for milliennia. In the present, teenagers all over Ninjago are taught how to fight this force of darkness, if they choose to do so.

(<- can't get rid of?) james fell first. lmao. no funny comment no jokes he's just that kinda guy, and he's liked roxy for a long long time. as for who fell harder... well... i'd say it's up for debate. in my mind, it's roxy, just because i've got the timeline of their relationship so permanently etched into my brain i might as well get it tattooed in the back of my eyes or something. but from just the writing + whats out of the story, i think the case could be made for james as well!

2. who is the one who fusses the most? does their s/o mind very much?

rox for sureee. we all saw how she was when he got sick! miss girl was good and freaked; almost felt sick herself just looking at him. wrapped him up in a blanked burrito, tried to give him as much medicine as she could, sat and played her guitar for him. she was so worried! james, though unwell, lapped that shit up tho. he looooves it - doesn't mind at all. he's not superrr fussy i'd say in general because he knows she can take care of herself pretty well, but he has his moments for sure. roxys usually 50/50 about being ok with it or not bc she knows he has good intentions

3. what is their love language?

call me a hater but i've never really understood only having one major love language (sorry), i think it's more of a combination of multiple that help made a good relationship among many other things. for roxy, i'd say she's more inclined to lean into quality time overall, just being around james and hanging out together as much as they can is her favorite thing ever. even if they're not doing anything particularly special, it's still important to her that they're doing it together. that, coupled with words of affirmation through songwriting is mostly how she's able to express her feelings (maybe that can also count for receiving gifts if we call each song one?), though if james did press her she could be able to fumble out some affirmations here and there :) for james, i'd say physical touch is huge for him - he's pretty much always got a hand on her somewhere if they're close enough. secondary for him is also words of affirmation and it comes much easier to verbally communicate for him than it is for her!

4. has either oc ever gotten a hickey off the other? what was their reaction?

ya. i'll put it in tasw when im not too embarrassed to write it and when i think their relationship is crossing into more physically intimate lines (though they are minors so nothing explicit will be written about them just as a sidenote). i'd say roxy is actually quite the demon about it, though she isn't leaving them where people would likely see because she'd get bashful about it. surprised james at first, and he's not fond of it happening too often bc bruises + his beautiful skin don't pair well. but as long as she asks first and he agrees he's fine to wait out the few days it takes to disappear. other way around, it's not his go to move because he knows it'll embarrass her if someone says something. so if he wants to leave one its going somewhere someone can't see. if he asks first she will also be okay with it every once and a while!

5. what is something they like to do together?

they're still honeymoon phasing it for the most part so just being together at all is something the two of them love. they haven't really found their thing yet, but music does really connect them. she's becoming more open to letting him hear her works in progress and he's learning a lot about her through that! they also like to make out :) a lot :)

6. who would ask the 'would you love mf if i were a worm?' question? how would their s/o answer?

james is asking and roxy is telling him no she would not!

depends on the situation, if they're just sleeping james is typically big spoon and rox is little spoon just because they fit better that way, but in times when he's sick or needs some extra comfort or she's feeling extra clingy she's happy to hold him in return :) they're versatile lol

9. if there wasn't enough seats, how would they sit? one on the others lap? one on the armrest? one on the floor in front of them?

she's in his lap immediately lmaooooo. most of the time it's because he's pulling her there! goes along w number 3

10. who plays with whose hair?

roxyyyy she loves his hair soo much! he takes good care of it so its extra soft and so smooth and she loves having her fingers in it. screwing up his do be damned! james will too, mostly if they're just watching tv or something he'll braid hers or put it up in funny ways to amuse himself. but if they're cuddling or whatever she's usually got her hands in his hair and he's usually got his on her body lol. <- guy who worked so hard on his washboard abs to fall for a hair girl

Angst in S2 coz firstly, it's you who's writing the story, lol! You're my fav writer but your brain is completely unpredictable, nobody knows what goes in there and boom we have an amazing plot! (But srsly you balance angst and comfort so perfectly that I just sit back and enjoy whatever you write)

Secondly, they still are to figure out about this whole relationship thing which they're or will be starting so ofcourse it comes with its own ups and downs, cause I figured your writing showcases the real life and practical issues so not everything is jaggery coated.

And also we still have a few characters to make their appearances which I think will have kind of a major impact on their relationship?

Also like in plm, they both had their personal way of handling things, oc was a bit reserved and jk was a man carrying heart on his sleeves. But inspite for being through so much together they still had this major clash and the aftermath which followed! Tbh both of them made me cry, but at the end they accepted everything and moved ahead with that same new acceptance which was great to read, thankyou! And in this story they are on their paths of character development which I think is still work in progress? Plus both have almost similar reserved nature so there's high chances of miscommunication and misinterpretation?

Or I may have formulated everything wrong and am simply a sucker for angst with an utterly delusional mind😂

“It’s you” hahahaah now that is funny but also quite true? There’s a type of angst I enjoy writing the most, the ones that are caused by internal stuff. It’s heartbreaking bc it feels so real! Like what you said about PLM JK and OC, bc they still had a lot to navigate as a couple given their differences.

ngl im hesitating posting this but its been at the forefront of my mind for all of today and i need to talk about

okay i dont wanna especially talk about maths p2 because i have no solid proof for any of it but the way friend b and c were talking about some “eloise” was genuinely a bit too close to home. and i 100% could be “if the shoe fits” BUT IT DOES, EVEN IF THEY WERENT TALKING ABOUT IT ME THE SHOE FITS WAY TOO NICELY FOR IT TO NOT BE ME. like tf do you mean about “shes actually not even that funny and that giggle she does yk the one” and “she complains about being with only one person like go with other people” AND “youre not different youre just a teenage girl with hormones” (which especially hurt bcs wdym you cant see through my mind and tell me what im feeling) and others and especially since beforehand they were talking about ME and me drinking c’s monster

This is my second most recent progress update of the first artpiece shown in this postt (second most bc the most recent I actually haven’t saved and sent to my phone yet)

The guy in the middle bottom will be (to me, maybe not to you) drastically changed soon, but idc about that rn, I just want to share my progress because I’m really proud of this piece so far!

Characters so far are:

Tera (me) who is in the middle bottom with the glowing heart, currently pictured as a human-moth (lunar moth in specific) but that will be relatively changed soon and I’ll probably make a human variant for my school project (the version with “Identity”, which is the depicted version, the ‘true’ non-school version has a different word) that looks less like how I depict myself and more like how I am in real life

Zurua (name says it all, my in character self… if that works for describing it lol) who is to the left (your right when you look at the drawing) of Tera. I have a few more bits and babs that I might add to him, but for now he is complete outside of his clothes/torso not going to the end of the frame

Marsh (that’s a nickname, lol, I find that holding his real name hostage is funny) who is right next to Zurua, his print was a pain in the ass to draw… but his bow is cute :33

Plasma (the Lucario) who is in the bottom left corner, nothing much other than him being a shiny Lucario I actually own that I hunted for and caught as a Riolu! I plan on giving him his body, don’t worry, it’s just that I’ve been to lazy to work on it and line it up with his head correctly lolol

Zoru (the Zorua, creative, I know) who is even more in the bottom left corner. I actually have yet to get a shiny Zorua in the depicted form, but I got a shiny hisuian Zorua in my original pla save, and I just wanted to change him to be this form of Zorua (I was very attached to Zorua when I was younger, because I watched the black and white anime and had one of the two movies for that gen, so I’m attached to that gen as a whole but yk)

Loop (with the third wip shown in the post I’m reblogging you’d think I would’ve done Siffrin, but nope! I relate to some of Loop’s issues haha) who is in the top left. Nothing much, they’re done and while idk how I 100% feel about how he turned out I’m not about to change anything bc I’m still at least a bit happy with how it turned out

Ruffles (or the rivulet) who’s in top middle leaping under the letters! Not gonna change a single thing! I like how my design for him turned out, and I most importantly adore how the drawing came out! I spent forever on the slug-axolotl bit to make sure it looked right… so happy I did tho

Bubble (splatoon has had a chokehold on me since I was a little kid with my Wii U…) who is about to be the target of an attack from Ruffles. Octo expansion definitely helped me a lot as an early teen, so I drew my agent 8 OC first in the colours I finished with/are dominant for the weapon I first finished side order with. I love how she came out haha… it does look a little weird without Wave (my agent/captian 3 OC) there for her to be givin a little kiss to, but I think it still looks good on its own!

i love your theory about ralsei! not to compare meta-narrative indie games, but i feel he's like ddlc's monika (but more chill and subtle) with how he's appealing to the player's affection, advising us to save the game etc. and tho he knows it's a game, he's still fond of other characters and wants them to live well too, hence pacifist route. i love the speculation on later conflict regarding kris, with him being so eager to please and wanting the best for everyone, which isn't always possible

anyway thank you very much!! its so funny you mention monika bc, while i was thinking about some ocs that fit into the sort of meta narrative i thought up for ralsei, i thought itd be funny if they had their own version of "going turbo" called "going off script", which is considered game ruining and explicitly taboo and a horrible thing to do as a game guide, and monika would be like. a perfect example of it.

but YEAH!! i think it would be so interesting to see if ralsei starts to break in later chapters, doubting himself on whether he should keep going, worrying over how kris is doing. threatening to go off script. while a frighteningly loyal ralsei is interesting, the idea of him starting to break down in his role as well is also very compelling.

either way i suppose i just wanted to put that theory out there because i see so many people speculating ralsei is evil and even saying some very mean spirited shit and like... chill. hes like... 14.

i also wanna point out something i neglected to mention: susie has also grown to be incredibly fond of ralsei so ralsei will also have her to deal with, and we KNOW how susie can get if she feels someone she cared about violated her trust.

basically if my theory is correct there is going to be SO MUCH drama between the fun gang as the chapters progress so enjoy your wholesome friendship moments while you can because they might not last.
