The funniest thing about House MD to me is that all the shippers are right. House and Wilson really are just Like That. I'm so used to big ships being completely noncanon or distant subtext at best. Not Hilson. They have a fake dating episode. In the episode where House mocks a gay man for being in denial, the multi-episode-long subplot is about him trying to break up Wilson's relationship because he's jealous and wants him to himself. Wilson, his best friend and person whom he lives with. This show is insane.

jay thinks one way for him to fix his current reputation on the show is probably to complete a stellar interview that can change the people's mindset about what he's really like. he'll give it a try but—when he starts talking, he usually can't stop.

any thoughts on your team?

"oh yeah, they're great." and he's not being sarcastic at all this time! not an ounce of sarcasm in him, he means it 100%. "they're all creative people, we mesh well. thank god. it'd be hard to be in a team with people you just don't... click with, you know? but we did." he's certain their chemistry off-stage will show on-stage as well. "our brainstorming sessions are always productive too. and we came up with an ambitious concept for our performance."

speaking of, can you explain your concept?

jay was a little worried that their concept would be too ambitious for the lay man to understand. honestly, he thinks they gave off the vibes perfectly well. "retro vibes, think saloons but also cyberpunk. like mad max, if you know the movie. that's our concept. we watched the mv and was inspired by the costumes and the sets, so we decided to go all out with that." jay grins. "i think our storyline is sick too, honestly. a bittersweet fight, just like the song almost."

how do you think you've improved since the last episode?

"ah, well." jay doesn't know—he doesn't want to come off as arrogant either this time around. "i was a bit confused on what balance meant, and what counts as being too intense. but being around other people and having to work together with the others, i'm starting to get it. i also know i need to be a teamplayer now. and, well—i don't know, i had a lot of fun on stage. it wasn't just a... battlefield."

anyone you're thinking about in particular? someone helpful?

"helpful? everyone in the team obviously. every single person in the team contributed. although i was pretty pumped about being in the same team as jingren. i wanna watch him grow too, and now i have front row seat. haha, just kidding." there's another person that comes to mind. "jueun too. thanks to her... i kinda get what the judges are trying to tell me. it sounded like nagging, but i needed it. don't tell her i said that though."
