Hello and be welcome to the Choices MC Appreciation Week of 2025! Years ago, user beaumontbash created this wonderful event where we had the opportunity to gush and show off about the wonderful and rich MCs in the fandom, and I have decided to bring back this awesome tradition!

Before I give you the prompts, here's some ground rules and things to have in mind during the event:

• You aren't obligated to post for every day! You can post any day you feel like

•The MC doesn't have to be yours

• OCs are welcome and encouraged!

•This event is MC-OC centric, and while a mention of LIs and other characters is welcome, please focus on the MCs

• Everything is welcome! From a screenshot of your MC and some fun facts, to meta and art and fanfiction!

• Posting about your friend/mutual's MCs is counted as an entry and highly encouraged!!!

• Be kind and respectful to one another. MC/OC and user bashing is extrictly prohibited

From Desire and Decorum to The Royal Masquerade to A Courtesan of Rome, today we show some love to those MCs who made history in the Choicesverse

Day Seven: LGBT+ and Proud

From All of Us, to Bachelorette Party, to Foreign Affairs... Any MC who is part of the community and didn't make an appearance on the other prompts, today's the day to show them off!

How would they have their LI's number saved in their phone before and after they get together?

45. What kind of movies do they like?

Matt likes action films but will watch anything. He's one of those people who calls Die Hard a Christmas film.

Eve loves a romcom and a period drama. She likes Pride and Prejudice (obviously) as well as things like Romeo and Juliet.

Alex likes horror comedy and other comedy films. They ironically liked The Dead Don't Die and unironically love the whole of the Cornetto Trilogy.

Jordan likes science fiction and fantasy films. They're a big District 9 fan as well as Lord of the Rings (of course!)

Char loves a horror film, a good slasher is his favourite genre like Scream. They're a big Babadook fan, and they love Alien.

Bo-yeon likes films that make xem think very deeply. Xe likes to see the nominations for best picture etc.

Daniel: a water bottle

Ilide: a book she's currently reading

Indigo: doesn't have a nightstand like, beside the bed (see this post), but keeps a couple of hair ties on the closest table in their room?

who’s your favourite oc and why?💕

This question seems so hard cause honestly I can't pick sjsks - but, here's some of my favs from all that I played so far!

1) Maia Wiseman (mindblind)

2021 introduced me to mb and Maia is the first button I ever made. I feel like Maia is like the mc I could relate too - and the struggles she is going through, it's like a mirror of what I'm going through. Plus, I gotten quite an attachment to her which is not good lol, but she become that character who's taken a special place in me heart. She's a zero but she's a good zero lol!

2) Raylene Gray (bodycount)

Okay - bodycount has become a quite fixation to me lately, and Ray is the mc I aspire to be tbh. She's joining body count for true love and like, she wanna crack out of her shell by joining a dating show (which is something I'll never do irl lol!) So, I admire her for that and her intentions to break her shell - which is something I am still failing to do. Her aesthetic was definitely one of the prettiest one I create and her backstory is definitely one of the most random but, I adore her so so much!

3) Lya Toriezze (TWC)

Similar case with Maia - I could relate to since Lya is a huge chunk of self-insert and one of the first OC's I ever made! I feel like Lya is the staple and the beginning of the oc journey for me. I have a lot of games to play still - but, Lya is like the beginning of it all and somehow there are parts of the detective story that hits home and it's just, it made me quite attached to her.

3. Ask them to describe their love interest. 

[if gray] good. just good, he’s the epitome of a heart of gold and it’s what she loves the most about him. she’d go on a 20 minutes rant (without realizing it) about how gray is always so careful to respect her boundaries and why that makes him the best person alive. then she would realize how smitten she sounds and she’d cover it by playfully mocking him about his dumb habits (that she also loves) 😬 there’s no winning lmao 

[if kent] well, her response would greatly depend on the timeline because she went from thinking he was an animal abuser, to a cute stranger, to a creepy asshole, to the most confusing person she’s ever met who she happens to have a crush on in the span of a few days, soo sdhksh i think if asked, she’d just focus on how capable he is and ignore everything else.

8. Do complex puzzles intrigue or frustrate them? both lol she’s hella smart and quite competitive so she’d welcome the challenge. but she’d get frustrated if she couldn’t solve it after a while, because that’s supposed to be her strong suit and what is she if she’s not smarter than everyone else in the room?!

20. What do they like that nobody else does? instructor Kim 😌😂 (yes, she does not call him Rosy. no, Nick isn’t happy with Ramona’s choice in mentors) just in general, she likes harsh/blunt people because at least they don’t pity her. and she likes broken things (how emo of her)

4. What loot would they drop if they were video game characters?

Kat would drop some sort of concealed weapon, like a poisonous dart or a blade shaped like a quill.

Mariah would drop overly decorative armor. She's not one to let her loved ones be caught slipping, aesthetically or otherwise.

14. What gifts would they like to receive?

Kat would be grateful to receive any gift, but she'd really love a Polaroid. She doesn't have friends to use it with yet, but she still wants to capture those moments of camaraderie when she can.

Mariah would prefer to receive money so she can buy something that matches her specific tastes, but she'd be flattered if she received makeup or souvenir garments as long as they're not tacky.

24. What’s their go-to style?

I was originally going to put this in their art posts but yolo🤘🏾this follows the pattern of the original style ask for the ROs.

Kat: neons and pastels all day long, color block patterns; basic tees and long sleeved knitted shirts; windbreakers and large sweaters; overalls and a-line skirts; mary janes and converses; her dark blue bucket hat

We understand how you feel. This fandom has changed so much over the years. Users we love have come and gone, which is hard. However, we are lucky that there are older users who are still holding on and new ones that are joining all the time to help us keep the lights on. We hope to honor contributions made in the past and create great experiences for everyone in bringing this event forward into the current fandom. There are so many wonderful and fantastic MCs in this fandom and we can't wait to learn more about all of them! 💖

💓— What could their partner do to make their heart race?

I can think of two things. The first one is little gestures: putting her hair behind her ear, smiling a certain cheeky way. Small ordinary gestures that come with a non sexual intimacy

The other one would be understanding her when she if having a bad day because her memory, helping her get out of those moments 

💢— What are some habits of theirs that would take some getting used to?

She can be a little messy. For example: she sometimes gets dressed in the livingroom and the shirt gets left over the sofa until the following day, or she has glasses over every flat surface for like 2 days lmaooo (she is not dirty because she does the dishes but forgets the glasses/mugs that aren't in the kitchen lol)

🧲— What’s an easy way to turn them on/get them riled up?

👀👀👀 mmm so I think subtle touches like in the arms while whispering in her ear; her partner waking up with a hoarse voice and whispering things on her necks. And not to get too ns*w but maybe the idea of doing in a semi-public place 🙈
