So yesterday I got my set of single point 25 cm long needles

And decided to try them out immediately, as they start with 2.5mm and I actually have my Neverending Shrug on this thickness needles, and

After a couple rows I had to switch back to the Prym Ergonomics circulars, because turns out, I have a much tighter gauge with metal needles XD probably would've needed 3mm needles for the same tightness..

Also when I knit with circulars I just kinda drop the needle after all the stitches on it are done and it's time to turn, so... Out of habit, I did that here as well, and spooked myself with the Falling Metal Needle sound XD

But those are both on me and my idiosyncrasies, the needles themselves are pretty nice and very light, and I guess them being 25 cm is why I don't feel like there's Way Too Much Needle. Yay for that!!! I was concerned if my hands would get tired holding them immediately, as they did with longer needles, but that seems to not be an issue

So the set is gonna live next to me for those cases when I need to knit a swatch real quick

...also maybe that's how I'll start on my Abomination Sweater sleeves :3c
