A Bang & Olufsen home stereo system owned and used by David Lynch. The system includes a black and silver paneled cabinet with fold down doors containing a Beograd 5500 turntable, a Beomaster 5500 2x60w 8 ohm tuner/amplifier, a Beocord 5500 audio cassette recorder, a Beogram CD 50 Player, a Master Control Panel 5500, two Penta speaker towers, IR receiver, power strip, and some cabling.This system was set up in David’s home.

So the Beocord 2000 was a bust... BUT!

B&O BEOCORD 1900 TAPE PLAYER BABYYYY!!! This one is transported all the way from Sydamager and has Dolby and Type 2 playback and a fancy little door that clicks the tape in place and then pops it out for you :))))

(no metal this was before metal tape, if you want metal find a 'Cord 2400, exactly the same but with metal)

Fully working! Fully interactable! Fully connected to the attic Beomaster 2400-2 my grandfather gave me, really the only reason I ever bought the Beocord because without it she's sort of just a glorified radio with two useless plugs on the back, B&O and their fucking DIN cables and all...

anyway it's all currently set up on the fancy dining table because I have absolutely no space for this gigantic tabletop hardware in my room, but the brother will move out this summer...

Old tech (once more)

Bought this FUCKING BEAUTY of a tape deck recently, been sitting unused in some random town in North Jutland for 25 years, until now. A Bang & Olufsen Beocord 2000, bought him to match my Beomaster 2400 receiver/amp I got from my grandfather

He seems very polite. But he is absolutely fucked up. Why am I talking about it like it's a sentient being? Do I have an unhealthy relationship with technology??

... here's a peek in his mechanism. At least he turns on

Anyway I bought replacement belts so he can hopefully work again, unless the motor is fucked then I'm fucked and he's becoming a reasonably priced paperweight
