I will be attempting to work the tags into my Februrary theme, 👁Gothic Psyche👁, whilst I catch up. First up: my #blackbookstack, with thanks to @matt.lune for the tag. Blackness or darkness is something that many of us are drawn to (dragged to), in literature and life. It is often used poetically in fiction, as a metaphor for sadness, depression, ignorance, the unknown. Something I find fascinating about both the scientific and the literary studies of the mind is their contribution to an ongoing, universal exploration - great minds enter endless darknesses in search of light after light. In sharing their findings, experiences, moments, they invite us up to their light, close enough to ignite our own candles from it. There's a lot of light-seeking in this stack. Anyone else get bookshelf withdrawal??
