I originally didn't think I would remake these [link1] [link2] [link3] from BAMM 2016 in digital, because I liked how they looked in traditional. But when I first got a spot in an artist alley in my country, I got the great idea to make beyblade stickers, so I did and also added Takao and Max to complete the main character line (although I didn't print Ming2 nor Borya, because I wasn't sure if people would recognize them, but I still digitalized them)

Turns out most people don't remember Beyblade anymore here :'v lmao, or never saw it, so they didn't sell that well, but I like how they look anyway

(I'd sell them overseas, but I have no clue how to do that from here in the middle of LatAm, especially with current global events lol)

Notes about designs under cut

-obviously inspired by the mangas time-skip adult versions. Some of them i already liked like Manabu (hence why he’s barely different) and some i didn’t fuck with like Kai (where has his sauce gone…)

-related to the previous point, i imagined the amount of time between these versions and their regular versions in the show is the same as in the manga, i didnt go off of specific years more like just based it off the manga designs entirely

-at first i was like wow, giving the Russian character an ushanka, how original. But then i remembered Rei, the chinese character in the main group literally walks around with a ying yang on his forehead so like, its only in true beyblade character design spirit if i do this.

-i was gonna design Makoto and Goh too and make them look a little less like they’re just small Takao and Kai but i gave up so I’ll probably draw them in a normal piece somewhere else (Lin too)

-i was also thinking of writing of what they were doing now in the time skip beside the drawings but im not good at writing so I gave up. Though im guessing It wouldn’t be hard to guess how Kai lost his eye or where Yuriy’s leg injury came from lol. G revolution gives its toughest beybattles to its gayest soldiers

-their jobs or atleast the characters shown in the manga as adults are probably same, like Daichi being a blader dj was so genius to me when i first read it. Though he didn’t really look like his past self in the slightest lol or to me atleast

-im not thinking of doing any more characters maybe like 2-3 more but im good this took years off my life and it was harder than i thought it would be

-i left Yuriy for last in my drawing order because hes my favorite and i was excited to draw him the most and i promised myself to not make him more detailed compared to everyone else and i completely fumbled on that im sorry LMFAO i just love him so much FUCK

-These pictures don’t really show how tall i intended them to he so here is a Height chart

yeh sry for the low quality YT screenshots . Backstory for those who didn't know☝️ : Basically my internet was down😨 for about a week or so and i had only saved this one ❗performance vid of the song Serenade by BOYNEXTDOOR🏠 . And because i had nothing😬 to do i watched the shit out of the performance . In the outro the guys 🧍🧍🧍🧍🧍🧍were doing cute lil ending fairy poses 🕺and i thought "😏hey these poses make good references for drawing characters" and yeah the rest is history .

I wanted to draw more tyson but he posing like woonhak but these poses r too hard for me so just imagine in your heads how cute it could look!!

now i could have drawn kai....but i dont like him and im immature so if anybody want him in the bnd pose then make it known

how i would change the bladebreakers vs blitzkrieg boys battle

before i start i want to say that i do love how this actuallu goes but i do think these changes would be better.

there are 3 major changes i will be making

1st change is that the blitzkrieg boy don't Imediately destroy black dranzer, we dont see what happens to it

2nd change tyson steps up against spencer and gets the same 2/0 loss kai does in the original. what does this change? well it gives tyson his only major tournament loss, it sets up the blitzkrieg boys as a real threat who beat the main character, and it means that they steal dragoon instead of dranzer

3rd change is that kai battles tala (nothing is changing about ray's battle), in the 1st round tala uses black dranzer and baits kai into destroying it, wolborg then absorbs all the bit beast including black dranzer, the 2nd battle tala does his pocket dimension thing and beats kai by overwhelming him with draciel, dragoon, and black dranzer. in the third round kai accepts that he has already lost but starts the battle with a smile and says "who cares if ive already lost, it'd be an insult to you, me, and the sport if i gave up" and we get the pretty much the same ending but swapped tyson with kai.

why do i think this works?

1st everyone else got a win at the end of thier arc ray in china, max in the usa, tyson in japan and europe, so id like kai to get his win

2nd in the original we see kai reject power and lose, here we see that the power he gets from his friends and love of the game is better than any power he can get from biovolt

3rd i think that line to tala and this battle would be so cool for what it would set up in g revolution both with kai teaming up with tala and with kai's speech to brooklyn

Also, these are some Sketches from the weekend. I must admit that it's hard to stop drawing the BBA team. I also want to turn Kais sketch into a full painting one day. But I also need to do stuff for my portfolio... Can someone please give me some time q_q ?

Finished this late for Beyblade Day 2024 (and the 25th anniversary of Beyblade) but at least it's done now ^^ Full-colored version of a quick sketch I'd done in November last year, which in turn was based off a commemorative pic in Vol4 of the original Bakuten Shoot manga.
