during hogwarts, barty had a small crush on the older girl

he thought she was badass and gorgeous

narcissa was busy and didnt give him the time of day, being destined to be wed n all

BUT

two years after barty graduated, he bumped into narcissa

now that they were older, they could have an actual conversation as adults and not junior and senior

cissa (21) and barty (19) go over to some hogsmeade place to chat

she tells him abt her loveless marriage and that they are planning to have a heir REALLY soon, and barty explains his new job options

they really hit it off

narcissa is still a black, shes sharp and dangerous

barty LOVES this. he especially loves how she can look so dainty and deadly, hes obsessed

so they start talking regularly

after like a year one thing leads to another theres an affair

now that thats set heres some hcs abt their relationship

-barty regularly gives narcissa gorgeous knives he finds and cursed objects he thinks she would appreciate

-narcissa is DEAD SET on teaching this man manners. she scolds him for it daily. (deep down is sort of endearing to her, but she still loves being proper)

-u guys dont understand how obsessed he is w her (its returned, but shes more SUBTLE. the black family finds their person and its THIERS)

-barty had a dingy ass apartment in muggle london before he got w narcissa, but decided to actually get an acceptable house after getting with her (shes a LADY, barty. she wont be seen in a brothel lookalike!)

-narcissa wakes up at sunrise, and does sit there quietly studying bartys features

-fancy ass tea (one sugar cube, no milk) x expresso coffee w five teaspoons of sugar, no milk or creamer, and ice

-barty is like weirdly obsessed with how proper narcissa is? like he has put down a blanket on a seat so narcissa could sit with him in a pub in her pretty dress

-walk him like a dog cissa i cant even hate

-they gossip? so much? narcissa will see barty after a day at the ministry and is like Oh! saw your dad. perhaps he should die.

-bartys like WHAT IM SAYIN!!!
