It's November 3rd. 

You realize this fact after glancing at the calender on your fridge while making a sandwich. Why is this date so important? You remember quickly after the idea is planted in your head. Shit, you missed something.

Immediately, you drop what you were doing and head into your room, sorting through your movie shelf and captchaloguing all the good ones, from any genre you could find, along with some big pillows and a few other things. Then, you punch some coordinates into your transportalizer and let it whisk you off to your moirail's front door. 

You knock softly, drumming the fingers of your other hand on your thigh in a sort of rhythm.

Checking On the Broken

You pull yourself out of bed to slowly make your way over to your closet. Your muscles are stiff from not moving for so long. Once you throw on some clothes and pack some things, you're stepping onto the transportalizer and knocking on your moirail's front door.

You're an absolute mess. Your hair is all over the place, your eyes are even redder than usual from a lack of sleep, and you're exhausted. Once you realize these facts, you try to make yourself presentable, combing your fingers through your hair before giving up and digging through your backpack to find the beanie that Karkat got for you; and you pull it over the mess. You can't do much about your eyes besides slip your shades on. You've been wearing them more and more as of late.

1. What was the most ridiculous thing you’ve said that your friends or family hold over your head?

Uh...hm. I've said a lot of embarrassing shit. But, probably one of the things that's held over my head the most is how I once actually pronounced 'Gucci' like 'Gucky'. Yeah, that was embarrassing.

2. Who’s your role model?

Role model? Well, I have a lot actually, but I do lean towards John Green. I mean, I really like how he sees the world and how he projects himself as a human being. Because he seems confident in being who he is and doing what he loves, and he just wants to make the world a better place. And I'm really thankful that he exists.

3. What element do you bend?

Fire. Probably. It sounds like my element. Honestly, I'm scared to death of fire, but I think that if I could control it, to bend it to my will, I'd be a lot less scared of it.

4.  What was the last book you read and how was it?

Um, I think that was The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Stewart. It was amazing! I definitely recommend it to you. I actually made a post about it here: (x)

5. Is there a movie that was definitely better than the book?

Let's see...I think that there isn't a MOVIE that's better than the book, but the pilot episode of The Walking Dead was better than the comics, from what I hear from my cousin. They added things that weren't in the first comic or something like that.

6. Name an OTP that just leaves you a mess after thinking about them and explain your feelings.

Hisses. Oh my god. Okay. Um. Wow, lots of OTPs to think about. Probably JohnDave. I just have a lot of feelings whenever I see something related to them. Mostly because they are totally the best bromosexuals (see what I did there?) that ever existed and I don't give a crap about what anyone says, it's canon in my heart.

8. What’s something you’ve always wanted to try to do but for whatever reason haven’t?

Hm. Cuddle with someone non-platonically. I haven't done it yet because, honestly, what the shit. Who would do that with me? I might have a contender, but I won't be getting up to the cuddlez until spring break. Ah, distance. I love it.

9. Celebrity crush and your favorite work by them. Go.

Wow. That's a hard question. Um. Wow. I haven't really had a lot of celeb crushes lately. But, I have a lot of favorite works by Youtubers. Charlie McDonnell, is definitely someone. My favorite video is this: (x) Warning, you won't like it very much if you're not into Doctor Who and don't like music-y videos.

10. What writer has yet to disappoint you?

DEAR GOD, I will tell you. Rick Riordan. Hasn't disappointed me yet, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE his series. And I mean all of his series. I can't decide which one's my favorite, but I'm definitely looking forward to the next book coming out soon. I will DIE if he actually makes Nico di Angelo a main character with an actual perspective in the book.
