i think jynx, as carelessly obviously racist as it was/is, could've been salvaged as something fun if they leaned into whatever the stadium animations were trying to do, where the eyes/lips sometimes fly off its face, and there isn't a mouth between its lips, and some of its animations end instantly with no transition, and it blips out into just a wig when it faints, and it has no legs under its skirt (only the illusion of it in how it sways), and it just shoots a detached foot to do kick attacks, and-

smoochum then being introduced as its pre-evolution and more or less just being a regular chubby baby girl that likes kissing things to learn about the world to try and salvage jynx's design as something innocent kinda ended the potentially cool idea of jynx as this alien shadow blob or golden tentacle thing, disguised poorly as a human. instead they kinda just doubled down on "what if a dark skinned fat lady wanted to kiss you haha i'd pass out too" being the theme by downplaying the alien weirdness of it, the heartless/nobody-ishness of it, and acting like it was just poorly animated the whole time and not like that on purpose

i'd love to see jynx's prevo being an undisguised larval form of whatever it actually is and its evo being the disguise coming apart as the face starts slipping off and the hair grows too long and acts like tentacles like a horror monster reveal, but a pokemon with jynx's design and reputation really can't rebrand as "what if a fake woman forced her kisses on you" without inviting more problems huh

jynx's evolution just being brunnhilde the fat opera lady or froslass 2 isn't really all that interesting to me compared to this idea but i don't blame them for just kinda giving up on it entirely

at least there's wobbuffet if you like the idea of a mysterious shadow creature battling with its fake body/face, that one doesn't look extremely offensive. or mawile, kinda

What if the all-fandom joke about Sam being cursed was not a joke at all? What if, being a teenager, Sam pisses off a witch, who curses him? Now, everyone he ever sleeps with will die in some horrible fashion. So, he suffers all his heats alone, that keep getting more and more painful, but he hardly has a choice in the matter. He will not become a killer for his own pleasure. That is until he meets a mysterious Alpha, who is immune to the curse, and brings a lot more surprises with him, than just mind-blowing sex skills. 

Sam hates the heats. 

He hates them so much, that he's been long living "in between". 

The Times when it hits - he is not living. 

He is in agony, he is a ball of need, lust and pain. But he's not living. 

It was easier, when he had Dean. 

Of course, he still has him, but Dean now has Cas. 

Now, instead of suffering together, Dean smells of satisfaction and pleasure after each and every heat. 

Sam is happy for his brother, of course... But he’s... 

's still suffering. 

And all because of some crazy alpha bitch-witch, whom he refused so long ago. And she cursed him. With "If I can't have you, nobody can." 

Because really, what is it with his life being an over dramatic soap opera? 

No... It is his life, and it's coming to a swift end, as another heat is closing in on Sam.

He’s hurrying to the local clinic to get a heat room--alone, of course--but he can feel it already. 

Creeping in on the edges of his senses, quickening his heart and breathing, racking up his pheromones higher and higher. 

He has half an hour at best, and he floors it, not caring for the speed limit or angry honking of the cars he flies past. 

There is the familiar hunger creeping in, and he’s almost in hell already. 

And of course, as fate would have it, there are cops nearby. And of course, there is now a police car after him, blaring its sirens and demanding he stop. 

He checks the time, feeling a bead of sweat sliding down his forehead. 

Just five minutes to the clinic. 

Sirens blare, and he swears, coming to a screeching stop at the nearest sidewalk, praying to all Gods that the cop is anything but an Alpha. Another Omega, or Beta even, anything, but...

"Hi there, I'm Officer Novak. ID and registration please?" 

...that. 

An Alpha. 

Short, but cocky, confidence and dominance rolling off of him in waves, along with the absolutely delicious scent, which had Sam's mouth watering in seconds. His asshole too, he feels--acutely--as the blob of slick, a big one, slides down in his underwear. He was never more thankful for that person who thought about Omega's needs enough to engineer a special kind of underwear that can absorb large amounts of slick without leaving stains on actual clothing. 

But as Sam gets more and more lost in his own thoughts and the approaching heat, the cop takes a whiff of him too. 

And what finally captures Sam attention is a growl. 

Low, rumbling, going straight through all of his desperate being, forcing another rush of slick and a quiet moan in return. 

"Please... Officer. I'm just trying to get to the clinic. You can... see, that it is... an emergency." 

Talking is hard, especially when the Alpha's eyes are raking all over him, head to toe, crimson of his irises blinking with shining gold. Sam barely holds in another moan, but he can't allow himself to just give up. 

Even if all he wants is to present to this Alpha, of which he knows nothing of but the surname. He wants to present his neck, ass, anything, everything he would want...

Sam moans again, first pangs of pain gripping his stomach, demanding, and shuts his eyes, riding the wave. 

He doesn't notice the Alpha moving, until he himself is moved. Carried, actually, bridal style, and the power that take, the power that Alpha possesses, lifting him with such ease... It does things to Sam's heat-addled mind and body. 

The cop growls again, short, disapproving, and Sam knows it's to make him release the death grip he got on Alpha's shoulders. Alpha who carried him effortlessly to his own car, settling Sam on the backseat with as much care as possible and goes to lock up Sam's car. 

Sam though, he just plops himself on the seats, drowning in the scent of the Alpha that permeates the car. 

His cock is hard and his underwear is barely holding on against the waves of slick gushing out of him. 

The cop returns just as another wave of cramps hits, and Sam curls into himself, groaning in pain and arousal, both ricocheting through his nerves. 

"Shhh, pretty thing... Hang in there just a little longer, I'll get you what you need." 

The pain leaves as sudden as it appeared. Instead, there is pleasure, comfort... Sam relaxes before he knows it, time is bending in his altered state. 

But he feels a steady hand carding through his damp hair, and he hears a soothing voice.

He sobs quietly at the hollow pain that originates in his heart, that even the Alpha's gentle hands can't cure. 

The Alpha who is now back in the driver seat, sirens blaring, and he's speeding off, even faster than Sam was going. They make it to the clinic in three minutes, the cop, (Novak, he said?) carrying Sam in. 

The nurse at the reception--beta, thank fuck--fusses over them both and directs them to the side corridor immediately. 

Clean walls, a row of identical scent-proofed doors. 

Yes, this is where he needs to be. 

But where he wants to be is in this Alpha's arms, on his cock, below his body. He moans, nuzzling in the Alpha's neck, practically melting at the quiet purr of approval he hears in return. 

"So, partners, I believe? I'll get your paperwork after, of course, but we have to check."

Nurse talks, asks, prods him even, but all he concentrated on is the scent. He wants more of it and licks above the collar of cop's uniform. For the first time he feels Alpha shudder, arms holding him up trembling a little, but squeezing tighter too. 

"Nope... Sadly, that beauty is not mine. But I am registered in the network as an approved Urgent Heat Care Provider, Gabriel Novak, do check." 

The Nurse nods and with a worried glance at Sam--he thinks, he's kinda distracted--runs away, to check the paperwork or whatever. 

But as his hormones and the heat come in stronger and stronger, there is still something nagging at Sam's horny mind. Something important. Very. 

Pain is what reminds him, another wave, so strong, Gabriel--such a beautiful name--has to sink on his knees with Sam, cradling him closer, rubbing circles in his back and lower belly, trying to chase away the cramps.

Shadow Globs!

What on earth are Shadow Globs?

They've appeared in various games but were only named in 358/2 Days where they were a mission objective one or two times. It seems they're just a catchall name covering any "destroy this generic badly textured button blob thing to stop the infinately spawning enemies", which is kind of a standard action rpg thing so yeah. But really when you think about it, how do they fit into the kingdom hearts universe?

The manga tried to explain them a lil bit by saying they're "collections of dark energy that hasnt taken form", somehow theyre summoned just by grudges and greed and stuff. It show captain hook turning his own treasure chests into heartless by accident cos of just how much darkness he has, and the queen of hearts creating so many shadow globs that her whole castle is sculpted from them and it falls apart when they "hatch". Also seriously they "hatch"?? I guess this is how you get the some heartless who were never human? Cos that was always confusing how some of them arent human, and also how sometimes a human can turn into a heartless witout being killed by a heartless, just dying normally while being really evil, or sometimes apparantky turning heartless while still alive and then for gaston his heartless split off from him and he still existed separately and just WHY ARE THE RULES NOT CONSISTANT LOL! Especially with how emblem heartless are all meant to originate from xehanort's experiments yet several heartless have appeared who are classified as emblem not pureblood despite not being made by xehanort or made by one of the xehanort-made heartless infecting someone else LIKE WHY DO SOME OF THEM JUST POOF UP EMBLEMIZED WHEN HE NEVER TOUCHED THEM

Kay thats enough rambling about Confusion lets get to Headcanons That Might Make Sense Of One Slightly Small Thing

Shadow globs!! Are heartless babs!! This is my thinking now! If we widen the origin of heartless a little more vague then itd avoid a lot of the questions, honestly if theyd introduced them as "they come from negative emotions" first BEFORE "they come from being killed by one of them" then it would have been a lot less confusing. Its just confusing to retcon their origins to be less specific in the sequel, lol!

So yeh my thought is that some heartless werent originally a dead person, they can be summoned from any place where too many dark feelings gather. Those places would have a shadow glob appear, and its like a baby heartless egg. Lots of enemies swarm around them because they instinctively want to protect and nurture the new shadowlings, and of course the glob sunmons new enemies because it hatches thos babs. But they just happen to be very globby eggs like a frog, i guess. Srsly its actually a real chapter in the manga that the queen of hearts did goddamn masonry with shadow globs squished into brick shape, and then her castle went all wibble wobble jelly cos she was being so evil that it made the babbies grow up too strong and healthyful. Luxord had to battle her to save her cos she refused to believe her cool new aesthetique castle was dangerous, and then she ended up getting a crush on him after he swooped in and rescued her princess style and gave her a new castle made of cards. IT WAS WEIRDLY CUTE!!! Petition to give luxord cute shippings with every other card themed villain ever. (I love the person who did fic of him x dr facilier!)

ANYWAY i felt sad for the shadow bebby tho.

Also i headcanon that the Possessor enemy is the shadow bebbys! Cos in the main series you only fight it in various artificially power enhanced forms- it possessing armoured doors and a combo form of a hundred of them into a boss. But in khux you do get to fight them individually and theyre actually the only enemy weaker than Shadows! So maybe that means theyre "less evolved" so to speak, and Shadows are only the weakest form of HUMANOID heartless? Thatd explain why their design is more complex than Darkballs and Operas and etc yet theyre less powerful. Shadows are essentially just an alternate appearance of Possessors that retains a few stray traits of the creature they used to be when they were alive. Also darkballs are totally the "default form" of non-human heartless, they make SO MUCH sense as an evolution of possessors consideribg everythin about their design and all. And lots of other pureblood heartless look like either a design that evolved from a Shadow or a Darkball, and we even have the canonical case of Dark Thorn which looks just like a darkball with chains and great hair until it hits its second form. Also it possesses stuff! We dont see other darkballs doing that but that seems to be a pretty canon evidence that posessors are a weaker version of the same thing!

Also just posessors and darkballs are two of my alltime favourites so i want an excuse to draw them as a cute fambly. And the shadow glob = egg headcanon has so much more fambly potential!! It means that heartless could actually reproduce without killing, so hypothetically non evil heartless are slightly more plausable. Look i know the whole premise is that theyre pure evil creatures but theyre so damn cute!! Also imagine some evil villain creating a shadow glob through their evilness and being all "oh no im a parent" and then cute scenes of goofyness with them trying to look after their mischievious new darkball bebs~ Or even could be heartwrenching, like what if mother gothel was being an abusive mom to all her heartless minions too, and her sacrificing them in battle could be a truly evil moment?

Grossest memory: There was this time that I had an almost infection under the skin of my foot. Something must have gotten into the wound and it kinda stayed there when it healed. Our baby-sitter eventually had to pull open the wound again and take out whatever sat under my skin to prevent further infection. I don’t know if it is my mind exagerating the image, but I remember screaming on my parents’ bed while she took out a bloody blob from my foot. That’s probably the most horrible thing I’ve ever seen thank you for reading. 

Hogwarts House: I’ve always felt it was Hufflepuff, and when I did the pottermore test I got Hufflepuff, so definitely Hufflepuff. 

In love: with Japan (I feel homesick).

Question you are asked most: ‘’Why would you take the highest course at high school if you only want to go for a practical college (conservatory)?’’ So basically, Dutch high schools work with levels, and the level I chose to do is the one which will prepare you for the scientifical universities. I want to enroll in a conservatory, which is seen as a practical college and you don’t need the level I do to get in. They basically ask why I would do my best now if I could take easy and just do high school at a lower level. Well, I always want to do the best possible, so let me. Idiots.

I love this idea SO much. 

I headcanon that Pyro loves dramas and soap operas (he writes “gothic” romance, after all, he’s into that shit.)  So, in addition to getting caught up on his old favorites, he’d probably get into some of the more recent drama shows.  I think he’d probably love Riverdale, because from what I’ve heard it’s absolutely insane.  I think he’d also completely, unironically love Twilight.  He’d read the books and watch the movies with absolutely no shame.  Probably also some of  the new Netflix stuff like Bridgerton and Outlander.  Maybe also Game of Thrones for the plot twists, although I imagine him not really liking high fantasy stuff.  When he gets a chance to choose the film for Marauders movie night, he makes everyone watch Crimson Peak. 

I know Bobby would show him all the memes, and probably a lot of Vines/Tik Toks, half of which would completely baffle Pyro.  Pyro doesn’t really “get” why Rick-rolling is a thing, but he absolutely will play along and get into a Rick-roll war with Bobby.  He also keeps trying to replicate the meme with a different, “better” song, but it never catches on.  Pyro absolutely tries to make his own fire or Australia-related memes, and I think at least one will become “A Thing” because it’s just so entertainingly stupid. 

I don’t have a good knowledge of the latest music, but I think Bobby would at least make sure Pyro knows about Beyonce and Lady Gaga.  Pyro seems like more a rocker, though.  Maybe he’d enjoy Lordi or the Japanese band Baby Metal.

Really, it’s up to you, these are just my own headcanons.  The ideas sound fantastic, especially that scene with Blob and Avalanche.

I was going to post something about how Pyro probably doesn’t even know Wonderwall, since Duggan is writing him with his musical tastes stuck firmly in the 70’s and 80’s, and he’s been dead for so long, but a Google search revealed that Wonderwall came out in 1995, and now I feel old as fuck.

I do think Pyro would struggle with anything from the past couple of decades, though.
