Lake Havasu Arizona a true oasis in the desert. Took these on my cellphone waiting to upload the rest of my pics from my dslr. I kept asking the locals if they were sure there was nothing that was going to try to eat me in the water. They didn’t seem too certain. Met a man with two dogs and a lot to say. Western Arizona is a wild place.

RV Living on a Budget: Frugal Travelers' Best Money Tips
Why Frugal RV Living is More Than a Trend RV life may be the dream, but that doesn’t mean it comes without a lot of dedication—and sometimes even sacrifice. You see, for many of us out here on the road, the only way to make RV life possible is to spend as little money as possible. The freedom of waking up in the desert one week and under towering pines the next is worth it, but only if we’re…

Classic Wedge Salad~Rachel Holbert Jones #WestVirginia
Being foodies and living on the road make it difficult to find healthy options. Before my partner and I started living in our vehicles I had a couple of go to’s for my lunch and it was pretty much tuna sandwiches and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and I would buy bags of salad that I had to eat up really quickly and sometimes it would go bad and I ended up with extra salad toppings in my car…

My week in Colorado was crazy. I have been to Colorado many times but this is the longest I've spent, the deepest I've ever gone, and the first time I have ever camped anywhere in Colorado. I drove from Fort Worth to Trinidad on Monday morning, then camped Monday night in Pike-San Isabel National Forest. From there I went towards Pagosa Springs, stopped to do a trail, and then camped in San Juan National Forest. From there I drove up to the Rockies (didn't go into the park, this was meant to be a cheap trip), explored the surrounding area as much as I could and then camped in Arapho National Forest. From there I drove through White River National Forest, explored around there, and on my last night I camped in Grand Mesa National Forest. No established campgrounds, all dispersed camping spots that took a lot of searching to find. I cooked veggie burgers, potatoes and vegetables on the fire, and ramen, coffee and tea with my stove. I saw so many deer, and I got to see snow this late into the year for the first time since I was in Alaska. 3 rolls of film to develop. It was a beautiful week and I haven't felt this free in a long time. Me and my van have been through so many adventures together 💙 I feel so whole when I am in the mountains
