After getting the prototype finished, I really focused on using this pedal more and more to find my sound. One of my favorite tones is a good Humbucker pushing the Sure Shot around…pop that combination into a Lightspeed, and it’s like unlocking a chewy, sustain filled sound wave that I just want to burrow into and live in for a while. This setup is unstoppable in a ton of ways. If you’ve encountered a Sure Shot in the wild, I’m sure you know what I mean. How are you using yours? As you may know I’ve been working over the last few months to redesign the pedal line. There have been a few challenging ones to say the least but this one has been a bear! I’ve decided to keep it in the same size enclosure as the 1590BB just doesn’t provide enough space for 3 switches. The other night I came up with this design. It’s a bit 420 friendly but then again it is the Stones Grasshopper.
