Brewed in collaboration with ISM Brewing from S. California Von Ebert Brewing releases Dynamic Essence West Coast IPA
https://bit.ly/3FHQmzZ image courtesy Von Ebert Brewing Company Press Release PORTLAND, Ore. — Today, Von Ebert Brewing released its collaboration Dynamic Essence West Coast IPA brewed with ISM Brewing from southern California. “In 2025, you’ll see Von Ebert Brewing collaborating with some of our closest friends and award-winning brewers, like ISM Brewing, which has partnered with PDX players for years,” said Eric Ebel, Director of Brewing Operations at Von Ebert Brewing. “This collaboration helps us continue to live up to our brand of being a brewery ‘where tradition meets evolution’ – taking a West Coast IPA and putting our spin on it by amping up the terpenes to make a very tasty beer.” … Dynamic Essence West Coast IPA will be available on draft at all Von Ebert Brewing and ISM Brewing locations as well as in 4-pack 16-ounce cans to-go and in Northwest bars, bottleshops and grocery stores. “Hanging out and collaborating with the Von Ebert Brewing team is always a blast, and I was stoked when they reached out to see what magic we could make together,” said Ian McCall, owner and master brewer at ISM Brewing. “While there is no cannabis in the beer, these danky terpenes provide a similar aroma and taste, along with diesel, gooseberry and guava notes. And at 6.8%, it’s still refreshing and quaffable as we welcome summer.” The full list of Von Ebert Brewing’s 2025 collaborations with the fellow award-winning breweries follows with three more to come later this year: Fort George Brewery, Astoria, Oregon (February) Russian River Brewing Company, Santa Rosa, California (April) ISM Brewing, Long Beach, California (June) Green Creek Beer Co., Orange, California (August) Shred Beer Company, Rocklin, California (October) Cloudburst Brewing, Seattle, Washington (December) Von Ebert Brewing recently opened its new N. Mississippi location (825 N. Cook St., Portland) to expand production and distribution from 4,000 barrels per year to as much as 20,000 barrels per year. This has allowed Von Ebert Brewing to sell more of its offerings in 12-ounce cans including: Volatile Substance NW IPA, Sector 7 Hazy IPA, Pils a German-style Pilsner and Clubhaus Lager. Other seasonal offerings and collaborations will also be on draft and in 16oz cans at the new location. ### Von Ebert Brewing was founded in 2018 by Tom M. Cook and Tom S. Cook in Portland, Oregon. Von Ebert Brewing is named after the family matriarch lovingly refer to as “Grandma Ebert.” The quintessential immigrant story, Grandma Ebert came to America from Germany via Ellis Island and relied on her grit and determination to create a successful life for her family here in the states. In that vein, the brewery has displayed those same traits and gained success through numerous World Beer Cup medals: 2025 Gold American Light Lager with Clubhaus, 2023 Gold German-Style Pilsner with Pils and 2024 Bronze Vienna Lager. Our moniker celebrates Grandma’s tenacity and honors our heritage. Von Ebert translates loosely to “House of Ebert” or in full English, “House of the Boar.” from Northwest Beer Guide - Beer News - The Northwest Beer Guide https://bit.ly/3Fyiwxm

At least it’s something fun to gossip about while the world burns and he’s pontificating about a charlatan. What happened to the bottleshop girls or whatever they were called?
As someone said recently, this is not the time and I am not that blog. So you'll have to look for other arenas in which to alleviate your boredom.
Or, you know, I can just start blocking these asks and you can start running through your burner blogs like water. It's up to you. I'm sure it must get annoying to have to go create new email accounts over and over again to create yet more blogs you can use on anon.

I'm not a vaper, as I don't believe in filling my lungs with unnecessary toxic chemicals, however, I think Australia blanket banning vapes is an abhorrent infringement on human rights and an adult's ability to make an informed decision for themselves. Recently, the Labor government and the Greens came to an agreement in which mint or menthol flavoured vaping products would be sold over-the-counter at pharmacies. Why doesn't the Australian government use that same logic for tobacco products and make it illegal for those products to only be sold at tobacconists? Or make it so alcohol can only be sold at bottleshops or inside licensed venues like bars, clubs, or pubs? The cognitive dissonance on display is ridiculous. Just remember that if you ever think of Australia as a 'free' country, it really isn't, as the government believes they're better at making informed decisions than the public is.

the biggest factor in me being able to eventually clean my house (as in do dishwashing and clothes washing and bins - mopping and vacuuming can die) is treating myself to an item or activity which makes me feel like a Proper Adult Normal Human. if i just enforce the habit of watching The News so that I can be Informed and see The Weather. if i just go to a small Sushi Train Chain Restaurant and eat the Nicey Nicey Foods. if my friend and i act All Grown Up in the bottleshop and then if there's Some Random Ciders (i don't like cider) in my Big Fridge. THEN and only THEN can i do a lil girlchore here n there. bc irl im not a PANH, im a: disabled, plural, traumatised, neurodivergent, always-horny-except-when-she's-ace capital FW Fail Wife and my most normal housekeeping instincts r to have a service sub do it and/or rubb rubb rubb thinking abt that rather than doing anything. this phenomenon is called the girlchore/choregirl paradox and is an Expected Ailment for the Uncommon Small Mountain Moody Mean Girl, which is my apparent species of girl.

Apparently, that whole "don't grocery shop while you're hungry" applies to browsing bottleshop sales listings too.
Because I impulse bought this and it should turn up tomorrow.

(considering that the most expensive item from this store is a NZD$33K bottle of scotch, I view this slip of the credit card as a staid and responsible purchase. Lol...)

Episode #6: What If The Beer Sucks? with Michael Gray (Gather Brewery & Glassworks) + Alexander Chramow (Lovebird Snack Club) | The Business of Beer
Independent bottle shops were one of the biggest wins from the pandemic for Ontario craft beer drinkers, and in this latest episode of The Business of Beer, we catch up with two bottle shops x contract breweries that approached it completely differently. Michael of Gather Brewery & Glassworks and Alexander of Lovebird Snack Club joined Cee and Nate to chat about the logistics and challenges of opening a bottle shop in Ontario, why it's so difficult to maneuver around the laws, the benefits and downsides of both approaches (starting a contract brewery then a bottleshop vs starting a bottleshop then a contract brewery), the limitations of contract brewing, working with the LCBO, the bureaucracy of alcohol sales in Ontario, how it works with licensees, and their future plans for their beers. The fellas delivered a killer lineup of crispies for the pod: Lovebird Good Things Rice Lager, Gather Dam Good Lager American Lager, Lovebird x Emmer's Proof Sourdough Helles Lager, and Gather Big Pants Pilsner Czech-style Pilsner. This was fascinating - cheers!
