The only thing murdered last night

was, you know, just the prophecy that has been the narrative backbone of this whole goddamn thing.

Like they just ruined the inverse logic for the whole magical side of this story, just for Ayraita the Battle Angel to save the day (I love Arya, but this wasn't supposed to be her kill).

Like without the prophecy: Why did Bran become the 3-eyed Raven? Why was Jon resurrected? Why were dragons born? Why did Rhagear steal Lyanna? What did the Red Witch actually accomplish?

Nothing. All of that juicy foreshadowing sacrificed for the fun but ultimately hollow thrill of Ayra saving the day, just because some jumped up writer/producer bro sneered at the 'predictability' of 7 of seasons forshadowing.

That was the most anticlimatic and shallow resolution of a prophecy I have ever seen.
