they're both a bit one sided bc i dont recall a moment where tetchou or ranpo have explicitly said "poe is my rival" or "i hate jouno"

i might be wrong, but i swear that that is what it looks like to me

ranking hunting dogs by how well i think they can cook

tachihara. this might be a controversial rating but I do think the boy can cook. i mean with his ability he could multi-task a lot of the process at once. i don't think he's like a gourmet chef or anything but he's got a decent amount of recipes under his belt, and let's be honest, he totally had to learn to fend for himself cooking-wise. it was either learn or starve. whenever he spends time in the hunting dog base after a long time away he makes everyone a meal.

jouno. if he's in a kitchen that has the proper accessibility aides he's an even better cook than tachihara, but he struggles in unfamiliar spaces (understandably). he enjoys a lot of the technical processes of cooking and cares a lot about what goes into his food.

tecchou. okay hear me out here. tecchou is a perfectly fine chef in terms of the actual cooking. he can make rice and cook meat and chop vegetables, etc. he just has absolute dogshit taste in pairings and seasonings (as seen in canon). makes the most diabolical pairings.

fukuchi. this guy got shipped out to war at 18 and hasn't looked back since. too worried about the end of the world to learn how to cook rice. and he keeps accidentally chopping cutting boards into pieces with his ability.

teruko. love her to death, absolutely cannot cook to save her life. girl has never lived a life outside of being a soldier. she never saw the point in learning how to cook. tachihara offers to teach her a little and she nearly burns down their command center (she's secretly a little glad, she wants to keep eating his cooking). she is limited to only microwave use.

Thinking of Tetcho how probably wants to keep you safe. Tetcho who likes to hold you close because it comforts him that you are safe. That your aren't someone ability tricking him while you've been taken. Tucking you into his chest and wrapping himself around you on the days he needs you and is more worried about your safety

Thinking about Tetcho who knows being with him could endanger you. You are far more vulnerable than he is and it makes him even more worried.

Thinking 'bout Tetcho who has an issue with texting you often in a day to double check your responding. He can't deal with t he thought that you got hurt while he wasn't there to protect you.

Thinking all about Tetcho who would blame himself heavily if you did get hurt or someone killed you to get to him. Tetcho who is hunting the person who hurt you down, he is a server of justice after all and he has shown before that even on occasion he'll put the people close to him above that.

guys did fukuchi ever tell tetchou what was happening? bc tachihara figured it out, jouno figured it out/got told and then 'killed' (i'm in denial so he is coming back) and teruko was told before off screen. but i don't recall TETCHOU getting told or ANYTHIGN!! like he was literally like WHERE IS JOUNO?? (bro didnt even question where tachi was, at least on screen; but i think fukuchi also told tetchou that jouno was taken by the vampires or smth, but that just implies that he never told tetchou)
