Something that has sort of worried me is that the lawyer character is always an enemy of MC? Do we have a choice about whether or not MC becomes involved in illegal activities? Hi anon, while you cannot avoid the lawyer "turning into a foe", you can very much be a law abiding citizen. There is no canon illegal path for MC.
