I recently had some spare pennies and treated myself to @tempoteabar’s subscription box 💞 For the first time ever, I have something negative to say so let’s compliment sandwich this!! First, Tempo recently changed their straws - they changed them away from the plastic straws in an obvious effort to reduce plastic waste however, I feel like the replacement straws didn’t quite hit the mark however the new straws absolutely nailed it. They’re strong and don’t impart any flavour at all and I love them! Second is that they sent me the sugar free strawberry syrup, which I’d obviously heard a lot of great things about. Now, I am acutely aware that I’m more sensitive to the flavour differences between full sugar and sugar free products bc i have an intolerance to fake sugars (aspartame, sucralose etc). I’m not sure if it’s because of this or due to the syrup it’s self but the sugar free syrup really isn’t great. It’s not as strawberry-y, it’s got the same icky mouth feel as sugar free diluting juice and it’s just not as good as the regular strawberry syrup - which is delicious!! Lastly, they gave me a sneaky lil sample of the apple bubbles which are also delicious. Obviously I adore @tempo.bubbletea (I still have my discount code TORI20 btw) and, as I said, my issue may very well be due to my own dislike of sugar free products but unfortunately the sugar free products will be staying out of my shopping basket (also, these obviously didn’t go to waste, I gave them to @growlithebandit) #tempoteabar #tempotea #bubbletea #bubbleteareview https://www.instagram.com/p/CcQeMslMI3r/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
