Welcome to the Lair!

Level 2 Headspace Request! Thank you!

We put this together based of a few different shows, apologies if this isn't exactly what you were looking for and remember not everything forms exactly as noted!

You are always welcome to ask again with specific changes or to request a complete overhaul if needed, but it may take some time!

The somewhat scrap-y set ups put together thanks to the turtles, April, and Splinter make an oddly home-y feel despite the cold air that usual stills this place.

Graffiti Lines the walls, Skateboards and the occasional weapon left about the countless pizza boxes yet to be taken out.

In the center of it all, is a lounge-like area, a few old couches with patches sewn in over the years and a tv set up saved from being tossed before being carefully washed and set out for the family.

There are many places to fall asleep, may it be nooked into a corner, under a table, or on a couch, tossing about some pillows and blankets makes it the perfect place to relax together and catch some ZZs!

To the sides of the lounge, are bedrooms and specialty rooms like a kitchen and tv room, most everything found or made themselves or scrapped together with exceptions to the things they managed to buy in totally rad disguises (TM by the turtle brothers :P pending) or with April!

One room is special to the family, lined with pillows and blankets to feel like a forever little fort for them to nestle together and nap or sleep.

It isn't the only place they'll toss about and relax, but it's good for those days they need some cozy calm vibes together, especially good for nightmares or after long and dangerous missions!

There may be some softer paintings and murals in this room, more soft night sky pieces and less jagged edges compared to the usual style along the walls everywhere else.

I think it's finally time to share something I've been really excited about for a couple days now!!

I've started a Bah archival project!! But with a bit of a twist!

It's on simply plural!!

Now, to explain how all of this works :p

I created a simply plural account, specifically for the sake of archiving as many packs as I can ( @ simply-sleepy-bah ). you may be wondering, why simply plural? well, firstly because I love the markddown support :p, but more importantly, because the simply plural account won't have the risk of deactivation! another reason behind the account is that I want a way to give back t this wondrful community even when I am dealing with a lot irl, and archiving packs in general takes a lot less time and effort for us then having to collect all the info in making one ourselves.

Now, How does the set up work? well, we create profiles for each pack, picking a faceclaim used in the pack as the avatar, and putting some core info in the description, along with credits, a link to the original post, and pretty web graphics :p

for example:

then, we add them to groups in order to make it easier for anyone looking for something more specific! we have groups for: species, roles, age, alter type, source, original creators, and finally, warnings!

Warnings include anything I can think of that could be considered triggering, as well as certain things added to packs that may make people uncomfortable or may be something someone is specifically looking for (ex: NSFW, MUD's, Paras, Etc)

Any listed roles will include descriptions (generally copy and pasted from pluralpedia when applicable), though we often make a few profiles before going through and adding descs to all of them so they may not have them right away.

We then have the filled out custom fields sections which include

"general info" "personal info" "system info" "other info" "alternate faceclaims" "web graphics" "other images" and "aesthetics" // these will be made up to include any and all info on the original packs.

Ray is a very traumatized puppy boy, having been gr--med by their big brother since he was very young. He often copes with age regression and pet regression. pup struggles a lot with dehumanization trauma do to the fact that their big brother often called paw 'nothing but a mutt' and often kept them collared or in a crate. He often acts very childish as it makes paw feel much more comfortable.

Why... Why does Megapolis have so many demons?

Plot convenience probably, but this is something I've been thinking about :')))) has anyone actually asked this question before? I have no idea! But here's my take on it:

The thing is, when you really think about it, there are a lot of notable demons in the city of LMK. Like of course, you have Demon Bull King, who was trapped inside the mountain Megapolis is built on and around for 500 years.

But then you have Lady Bone Demon, who was trapped in a tomb, buried under the same mountain DBK was trapped in. And when you realise that the Demon Bull Family's lair was built in the very place the staff used to be, Wukong's staff is pretty close to where LBD had been laid to rest.

Which, is already strange enough as it is. Because Wukong should have known (or maybe he forgot) that LBD was within the vicinity before popping out a nearby mountain and squishing DBK with it. It's actually weird to think, somewhere during that battle between Wukong and DBK, LBD was just... There, chilling in her tomb. She probably didn't appreciate the noise and her new neighbour.

Actually, I have an idea now: Somebody needs to make a (crack) fic where LBD and DBK are like cranky roommates while trapped inside the mountain. Has anyone done this yet? Any takers? No? Do I have to do it myself?

Anyways, the Spider Queen is here too. And so is her ruined kingdom (which is proof that she actually has a connection to the land Megapolis is built on, and so she's not just some wayward demon like a certain pair of gold and silver demons). Again, within the vicinity, very close to the mountain. But I'm willing to bet that Wukong defeated her and destroyed her underground kingdom before he imprisoned DBK. He probably thought the Spider Queen would have moved away after being defeated. Or maybe she actually did move away, but then came back? Either way, her kingdom remained in ruins.

And then you have Jin and Yin. Who are, themselves. And even though we've seen them in other places like the Lantern City, and the place that festive town in season 5 (so cool that the show actually brought in Jin and Yin's roles and designs as DJs from the 5th Anniversary Lego set), but it's clear that their base of operations is Megapolis (maybe because they just want to fight MK?).

And I can't believe I almost forgot, but Macaque is here too. Honestly I'm willing to assume he only came to Megapolis because of MK and, probably taking great interest in how the kid uses Wukong's golden staff. But the dude has a dojo. He- he owns a property. Or maybe I'm jumping to conclusions! Maybe the guy just broke into an abandoned dojo (or one that was actually technically still owned by someone) and claimed it as his own.

And then you have these guys. Whoever they are:

I might have missed some demons that live in Megapolis, since this is all that I remember. But you guys get the point, right?

So sure. Plot convenience. All of them can be explained by plot convenience. MK can't be running around outside the city until Season 3, because his adventures needed to be focused within Megapolis. Sure, Spider Queen needs demons to power up her mech and so therefore there needs to be some random demons that get caught in her webs. Sure.

But I really do wonder if there could be at least some sort of logical explanation for it. Because there is no way all the other cities in China have this many demons and this many problems (unless, all of the trouble making demons just ended up in Megapolis and, the rest of the world's demons are just really chill and, don't try to take over populations).

So, well. I think about Wukong's staff. The one that trapped DBK.

Maybe... Within the 500 years the staff had stayed there, it had practically become some sort of power beacon that herded in demons? It's a powerful staff, and maybe normal mortals might not be able to feel it, but demons probably could. It's not like any of the demons know why they decided to come (or return) to Megapolis (or the quaint village it once was), but they were drawn to it anyway. Obviously this isn't the best explanation, but it would be cool if, the golden staff caused the series of events within LMK to unfold in more ways than one.

appearance: one or multiple rooms, no outside, but seeing things through windows is okay

environment: cozy & comfortable, a good space for littles and traumaholders. big enough for many alters to be there at once.

HALLWAY

a hallway leading from the main headspace. the hallway is very spacious, comfortable, and has fairy lights as decoration. on both sides, there are many doors leading to different rooms within the headspace, but the door at the end, with the small staircase, leads to the main room.

MAIN ROOM

this room is very large, with lots of seats, chairs, bean bags, hammocks, and other places for headmates to be. this is the main space for headmates to have meetings, hang out together, have congregations, etc.

ROOMS

other rooms that, while not as large as the main space, are still quite big and can be used for smaller and more focused meetings, hang outs, sleep overs, congregations, etc

AUTUMN NESTS

these are small, cozy rooms littered throughout that are perfect for autumn nesting.

(note : we didnt really know what you meant by autumn nesting, so sorry if this section isnt what you wanted / meant !!)

We are OSSD system (although we won't be speaking of it much unless it is of importance nor will we be mentioning details of our alters). The Roadside System [🚦]

A large system pack for @sleepy-with-the-stars

I only get ten images , and I’ve decided I want to prioritise helping alters flesh out, I will write out areas of your iw. I hope this suffices if it isn’t clear , kleo is the one to deal with loss and aspen does the being entertained on long journeys

This is my first conceptive pack, but it is optional :)

Riley • Devon • Amoses • Kleo

Kleo is a 23 year old, Asexual, Trans man who uses He/They/It/🎵 pronouns. He is also a Conceptive of music itself, though he identifies closer to the alt genere, he is human and a soother/emotional regulator

He speaks causally , slowly. Uses a lot of slang in his speech but is usually pretty to the point, he sticks to texting more often than not but when he writes his letters are small and slanted to the right. They prefer to write in pen.

When it comes to clothing he prefers comfy clothes that don’t rub against you too much when it comes to travelling. And for hobbies he enjoys journaling electronically, reading books and bird spotting.

He enjoys travel and has gotten quite use to the movement and loss between places, he doesn’t necessarily enjoy going to new places. But he finds comfort in the movement between

Aspen is 18 years old, Pangender/Genderfluid , Pansexual and uses any and all pronouns (but prefers people use neos like fae, xi or ae as an example.) Fae can also be considered a conceptive of nature and the wild. Xi is an energetic alter as well as an adhd symptom holder (if that applies) or just someone who generally has no roles.)

Ae speaks very fast and in higher pitch, ae have almost 0 volume control and can come off quite forward without meaning, fae writes mostly in pencil because their writing is large, messy and prone to mistakes.

Clothing wise 🍃 are very much cottage core and alt in what xi wear, preferring as many lightweight acsessories as ae can put on. Skirts over trousers and t-shirts over long sleeves with the exception being sweaters.

Hobbies wise 🍃 likes creative stuff most, karaoke is a go to when travelling and pointing out small landmarks that seem interesting. Xi may keep a collection of fridge magnets from places fae have travelled to.

Headspace locations ;;

Imagine all of these in the same area , the caravan park is attached to the motel, aspen keeps faes caravan in the park

Aspens caravan ; it’s the main living space of aspen. Messy and chaotic but they like it that way there’s always enough space to get around it and it feels like home. Think of cottagecore mixed with more colourful aesthetics here. Theres a livingroom and kitchenette, the bed is a fold out one

The caravan park ; Plenty of unused caravans are placed here. Easy to explore, easy to change around into whatever’s needed

The Motel ; where kleo stays, in his hotel room it’s clean and tidy with records pinned to the walls and music sheets everywhere, kleo may also be learning how to play an instrument. The main motel is abandoned but clean, easy to populate by other members who may split in this substem

Advanced Nature / Cottagecore Headspace Pack

The Cottage

The interior of the cottage, surrounded by only the most beautiful of Mother Nature's work, is nothing less than cozy and warm.

The Bedrooms

-○{~°▪︎‧₊˚𖦹 ࣪.𓋼𓍊𖤣𖥧‪𖡼‬𖥧𖤣𓍊𓋼. ࣪𖦹˚₊‧▪︎°~}○-

The bedrooms, if you will, could be little holes in the walls in a way. The cottage, being built around a rather large tree, would allow for this opportunity. Rounded out cubby spaces inside of the trunk of this large tree would allow for a space to truly call your own. Curling up in a sweet space that headmates could decorate to their liking and add their own touches and personalities to may allow for them to all be in a shared space while also allowing them their own spaces congruently. We feel this would especially be an efficient way of pleasing younger headmates. Of course, if other headmates needed more space, there's no saying a more simple set-up couldn't be applied - such as a loft bed or a typical bed on the ground. These varying set-ups could be combined to fit headmates' likings.

The Library

Additionally, if one may need some down-time or a general hang-out space, a cozy library may be the answer. A soft place to lounge in a comfortable nook surrounded by warm lighting and books galoure? What a relaxing place to be. Add a few rocking chairs in front of a toasty open fireplace for acivities like knitting, crocheting, reading, or generally hanging out, and it'll become ten times better.

A tidy and well-kept kitchen will also benefit the space. To accompany the already warm and cozy vibes of this space, hardy, homecooked meals are going to top off this feel. Imagine headmates gathering together in a nice, outdoor table setting surrounded by fresh air, soft chirps of birds, and the rustling of leaves in the trees above. The sun's rays can be seen and felt breaking through the openings between leaves in the trees that loom above. While yes, this spot could be used as a place to have meals, it could also be used as a place to hold meetings.

Meeting Place

On the topic of holding meetings, we might also suggest the use of a sort of gazebo for council meetings among headmates. Again, with some warm lights of lanterns hanging about and cushioned seating circumferencing the gazebo, this would make for a nice place to hold any meetings that your headmates may initiate. It provides a safe and secure place for everyone to easily gather and discuss what's needed. With a plentiful garden right outside the gazebo, we couldn't think of a better place to have these meets.

The Bath

Just as a little bonus, we thought it would be nice to add a large, warm, open bath of sorts. It could even be a hot tub, if you really wanted it to go along with the vibes. A steaming soak awaiting headmates who may want or need some comfort and relaxation aside from previously mentioned activities may be quite a hit.

The Outdoors

Last but not least, we offer you a wide and open outdoor space. As you step outside the cottage, you're immediately met with the sun's bright, warm rays shining down on you. The air is fresh and crisp, a light breeze blowing through that could brush against one's body. The temperature is perfectly to your liking.

Greenery is spread around - a field of wildflowers visible in the distance as well as a tree nearby that has a swing or two hanging from it. This would allow for any play that may be initiated by littles or elsewise.

In the back, there's the sound of a stream trickling through. The water is a bit chilled, but naturally so. A gorgeous outdoor space to spend some time away from an indoor setting and out in the open.
