Thinking about Olrox as a character who craves intimacy so, so bad. Like, not necessarily physical/sexual intimacy, but emotional intimacy.

Like the morning after scene with Mizrak, how he's prodding at him with all these questions, but Mizrak just rebuffs him over and over. The way they're hardly even questions with useful answers. ("What do you think? Are you sure this is right?"). The way he so fondly recalls his late lover before Mizrak throws "because he was a vampire," in his face. The way he tears up when Mizrak rejects him. The way he tries to forge a tentative bond with Tera after she gets turned.

Like we see him put up an aloof front with Drolta, try to maintain the upper hand in every interaction he has, try to protect himself, but uggghh this man is soooooo lonely it makes me sick????

And like, he must be acutely aware of just how lonely he is!! Because he had this great love!! He had someone he could share that closeness and emotional intimacy with!!! And Julia Belmont killed him!!!!!! 🫠
