love to be like “haha yeah fuck inigo stupid idiot” but then sometimes i see a take that is something along the lines of genuinely believing that he is as dumb as he presents himself (mostly in awakening) and im like GOD… FUCK… something something falling for the charade the character put up etc etc.

#i dont like to defend inigo i dont think hes worth it #especially not in awakening i think hes just an asshole in like. most of his supports #but i think one of the things that makes him interesting is his deliberate setting himself up to be a punchline #in a lot of situations #SOME not intentional but a lot are and i think thats cool and like #genuinely very real of him #whether or not he does it well is up to the viewer i’d say he’s fine at it #some of it gets lost in the being like. a 17-19 year old boy and also the war and also the grief and also the #but yeah #i just need to stop seeing content of him outside of this website #cuz im also not about to start online fights over it. im so brave u guys i see bad takes on my fav guy and i just move on and dont engage #but idk i feel like inigo like. IS a complex character for sure. but i dont think hes a difficult one #but for whatever reason no one actually wants to read the text in the 3ds games #we just jump straight into assigning the writing quality ‘bad’ or ‘good’ with no nuance #so yk. like many others. the mischaracterization beam hits him quite often #i just think his level of self awareness is fun #because its not PERFECT but it is. interesting. hes definitely a guy with anxiety is what i’ll say.#sorry guys. The Character(s) are getting me tonight.
