okay, so, hear me out: random plot where mahia accidentally throws a small town's police force into confusion and freaks a lot of people out...

During one of her rare trips into civilization to "find" supplies, she ends up stumbling across someone who's been shot. Of course she drops everything to heal them and make sure they're okay, but somebody who heard the gunshots has already called 911. And police show up while she's still huddled over them, working to make sure they'll live. And her being caught in a flashlight beam, covered in blood, isn't exactly a good look. And she knows this.

So, she tries to run. But, doesn't get very far. And she gets hauled back to the police car where her wings get discovered and, uh... since the cops are hella confused and weirded out, they just bring her back to the tiny police station anyway until they can figure out what to do with her.

thinking about an au for lydia where she's adopted by tony much later in life (like 15-16) and their relationship is much more strained, with her struggling to adjust to her new life. lowkey acting out and lashing at him, 'you're not my real dad' type of thing. but also her actually processing her emotions for once and being more assertive and sure of herself, not afraid to disappoint him, as opposed to her chronic people pleasing and imposter syndrome tendencies in canon

Korn didn't even hear his phone buzz, more than once for that matter. He was too engrossed in the painting he was currently working on. Adding the last final details for it to be complete. Even if he finished it, he'd like come back to it in a few days with a fresh perspective and add some changes.

For now, he was done, and he set down his materials, taking a step back to look at his finished work. He reached for his phone to take a picture of it when he realized he had a missed call. He immediately pressed the missed number back to return the call, "Sorry, I was busy with my painting and missed your calls. What's up?"
