Tumblr media
Should he be there? Well, NO, he shouldn't be. ( but he is anyway . ) This was the the women's side of the bathhouse. He, a man, should NOT be here. ( not at all . ) But, still, he stays; he sits; he bathes. Alone. In the corner of the communial bath, he find some what to sooth his aches and pains. his aching bones, his aching body. his aching heart. Away from any ( well , most ) prying eyes. He could have most likely been mistaken for a woman himself, too. all due to his long hair - like silk, when it was down, in its resting position; and his somewhat lithe body. Maybe those who are not familiar with him would have assumed that anyway. At least from a distance. Maybe it would have been better. To be mistaken as a woman. ( maybe then he wouldn't be nearly as judged if he was to be found weeping . ) Yet, here HE is: Felix Hugo Fraldarious; sole surviving son of Rodrigue Achille Fraldarius, and heir to the Dukedom of Fraldarius, in the women's bath.
how sacrilegious .
he is alone, though. rather, he was alone. he had been alone. The lone wolf had tactically chosen a time where activity here would have been at its lowest for the women. to avoid most of them, at least, and any scorning or reprimands from them, had they seen him there. he is not there to pester anybody, he is not there to harrass them. that was not his intent. ( mercedes had been the one to accompany him at the time of entering anyway . ) if anything, he, truly, was looking for peace - some respite - during these cruel times of war. they were all given a small moment to themselves. he intended to use it. he was avoiding human contact . & interaction. but, mostly, he was avoiding a certain person, a certain man - if he could have been even called that anymore. ( that boar ... ) &, though they were not immune to the gossip & chatter either, the women always seemed to have more... grace, & finesse, when it came to the heavier discussions.
well.... most of them anyway. ana-maria lupu was certainly not one of them .
mercedes had long since left the bathhouse: she was needed elsewhere. though, at the very least, the soft-spoken DOVE had stayed long enough to tend to his wounds from the most recent battle. ( he would forever be grateful for her , not just for her healing abilities , but for much more . ) she healed them enough that they no longer needed any immidiate attention, but not nearly enough to hide whatever remained of them. ( new scars . that was for certain . ) she had chastised him plenty of times before, for things lesser than, but, this time, she had said nothing about it. she simply did her duties, and left. ( as if she really needed to say anything though - the looks she gave had said more than enough . ) he believed, that after her exit, he would have been left alone, with no interruption of any kind.
oh ! how wrong he had been to assume .
he did not know how long it had been before another had come to the baths, but somebody did come. he was, however, still far to lost in his thoughts to notice. the wamrth of the water was busy TRYING to melt away his haunting thoughts. It had been working, too. It had been slowly lulling him to sleep. Alas, the splashing of somebody entering the bath from the other side did stir & shake him enough away from his thoughts to know that he was no longer alone. he tensed for a bit, yet still kept to himself. head bowed, his long hair used as a cover & sheild. Instead of trying to look at her, he stared at the water ripples that began to bump up against him. ( see , he too, does know some manners . for a feral animal . ) felix shifted only slightly to turn AWAY from the source, away from the other, to let her know that he was not there to trouble her. he just wanted to be left alone.
she, however, whoever she was, had other plans.
somehow he knew, from the moment she scoffed, who it was. ( was it a scoff ? or was it a sigh ? it sounded like a dry laugh honestly . ) the lone wolf knew who had entered the baths. ( why did it have to be her ? ) he almost flinched. ALMOST. ( would it have given her pleasure to know that she could make him wince ? ) he did brace himself for a verbal lashing, but, aside from that, he didn't really have any other desire to show her even more weakness than that. he didn't want to give her any more ammunition to use against him. he knew that with him just being there, she had enough to berate him.
he is an injured animal ; a wounded beast with sharp teeth ; don't make him feel cornered .   . . . please . . .  he hasn't the energy to bite back . he knows he is not supposed to be here .
when ambered hues look up to meet storm colored ones, there seems to be something completely different than the usual CLASH of energies. HE is tired. ( so tired . so exhausted . ) but it also seems as though he is... scared ? fearful, maybe. definitely sad. Not of her. no, not at all, he is not afraid of her. ( he is afraid of somebody else . he is hiding . ) but it is still there nonetheless. a silent plea telling her:     ' please , just let me stay . '     it is stark difference of what she probably is accoustomed to. at least with him. If he had the energy, he would have expressed it, but, for once, his blades have been dulled. he doesn't want to fight. he doesn't want to argue.
please , just let me be .
❛ don't . ❜   he speaks, looking away from her, fatigued,   ❛ save me the verbal lashing, i know . ❜   he would have shown more dissatisfation if it had not been for the fact that he was not in the proper mental capacity for it.    ❛ mercedes knows , ❜   he murmers softly,   ❛ she let me in . ❜
he pulls his legs closer to himself. it is almost absurdly funny, him retracting & hiding away, instead of of his usual biting. but he is doing it nonetheless. ( she caught him at the worst imaginable time . ) he does find himself glancing towards her, only to feel disatifaction with the sight of her seating herself in front of him. he hides it - his discontent - for whatever reason, &, instead, he simply watches her, carefully, waiting for her to say something. anything. Which, she does. He thinks.
felix witnesses her mouth move. Sounds are coming out of her: in the form of words. she is speaking: he knows this. & he should be able to understand her, they speak the same language after all. they share the same culture. ( to a fault . ) yet, he simply cannot comprehend what she is saying. he doesn't know. To him, it's complete nonesense. a garbled mess. the only thing that seems to be consistent, that he recognizes, is a peculiar ringing.
confusion. he lifts up his head a little bit, tilting it ever so slightly.  ❛ hah ?? ❜
he studies her again. watches her move. he noticed her brows furrow - probably at the annoyance of being asked to repeat herself - he mirrors her reaction. ( he isn't trying to upset her ! ) she IS speaking, but he doesn't understand. &, now, she's even more muted than before. the ringing, too, is still consitent. maybe even louder. it takes a moment, & another, to process. ( or attempt to anyway . ) but, then, his heart suddenly drops. his eyes narrow, something is wrong. something is severely wrong.
his body freezes. he WANTS to leave. to get up. to escape. but, instead, his muscles tense up. a choked laugh escapes him. ❛ what ...? ❜ he asks again. trembling this time.
he's not even sure if she's angry & upset, or if shes concerned. felix struggles to pay close attention - he can barely hold it together. his vision blurs intermittently, he's losing focus. to him, what he percieves, it seems like shes getting angry - which is not something he wanted, but he genuinely doesn't know what shes saying.
instead, he slips into his more native tongue, one of the languages found within the kingdom, but his tone is that of a panicked one. he cries out, one of his hands reaches out to his ear, the ringing now becoming more unbearable, ❛ wolf of fury, i do not KNOW what you are saying . ❜
his other hand reaches towards the edge of the bath. it is an attempt to stablize himself. which does help, albeit only for a little bit. until he slips. ❛ ana-maria … ❜ he frantically looks at her - with something akin to disgust & frustration ( not with her ) but also with desperation. ( of all the people , it had to be with her . )   ❛ mmn … ❜   he is annoyed with the situation - well, he would have been, at least - but there is a feeling that is more overwhelming right now. it feels as though it is consuming him. he is scared. nervous. anxious.
is she mad at me ?   ( yes ! yes she is ! )   she must hate me .   ( she does ! )   she's going to tell everybody you panicked .   ( weak . youre weak ! )   she's not going to help me .   ( why would she ? she's always yelling at you . she despises you . )   i hate you ...   ( you don't hate her . )   i hate you .   ( you really don't hate her . )   no . ' i hate you . '   ( you want her to tell you that ? )   yes ! tell me: ' i hate you . '     ( would it make you feel better ? )   no ...
with labored breaths, felix pulls away from her at first, unintentionally.   ❛ ━━ something's….. ❜   wrong.   did he need space? Maybe, perhaps. He didn't like being touched. he doesn't want to be held. ( does he ? ) but, at the same time, she would HAVE to grab him, she would have to hold him. To keep him from falling under the water.
how laughable , him needing help from something as harmless as a bath . felix hugo fraldarious : he has fought plenty of times on the battlefield, but the thing to do him in would have been 𝒂 𝒃𝒂𝒕𝒉 .
does she know? does she realize? does she understand? that underneath all of that ice-cold demeanor, & anger. behind those tall, jagged, walls & underneath all of the crumpled ruins of a once tall-standing foundation, there still remains a scared little boy. trying his best to survive. in a cold, cruel world, he is trying to live. Felix, too, is afraid.
i just miss my friend .
he leans forward & presses his forehead against her shoulder, for support. as an anchor. perhaps not the most ideal thing, but, alas, it cannot be helped.
❛ don't... ❜   dont what?   dont look?   dont ask?   dont talk?   dont tell?   dont leave?   honestly, it could have been anything - it could have been everything - but he doesn't finish the thought.
instead he seeks out her warmth & tries to find himself again. They could talk later. or maybe they could just pretend that this didn't happen. but, for now, he just wanted to sit there, in the water, in silence. with her.

The harsh thud of the car door closing awoke you from your mid-day reverie by the lake. The sun was beaming down on you almost bare body, only covered by a bikini. It was hotter than usual and everyone else at saltburn seemed to share your complaints. The heat aside the weather was pleasant—Felix on the other hand looked less than.
He looked annoyed, almost upset, even from far away. When he exited the car Oliver and Felix went their separate ways, Oliver looking just as unhappy. You wondered what happened in just few hours that could’ve soured their moods but it was only a few moments later when Felix approached you, grinning in attempt to hide the scowl he was dressed in minutes earlier.
Once he reached your figure he towered over your body as you laid on the dock. Having well acknowledge the heat now and your lack of clothing he discarded his shirt and quickly lowered his frame over yours so that his was barely hovering over yours.
“What’s wrong?” You asked.
He shook his head with a small grin. “nothing.”
You scoffed. “Liar.” He raised his brows.
“What’s wrong?” You prodded again. He dropped his head in hesitation, his lip between his teeth as he contemplated telling you what happened on his and Oliver’s road trip, what he felt, what the truth was—but he couldn’t. Not yet anyways.
He looked up at you. “I- Oliver just said something and it hurt me more than I thought it would.”
You sat up, the two of you adjusting your bodies as you did so. You stared intently at his face, watching how his eyes glossed over and how he could barely hold your gaze. It was a different demeanor than what other people knew, one of the more human parts that made people fall in love with him.
You lifted his face towards yours. “I’m sorry.” The silence that followed after your statement determined he wasn’t interested in sharing anything deeper than the surface of the matter.
He looked back at Saltburn then back at you. “Don’t be.”
You scrunched your brows. “Hm?”
“I don’t know,” He said earnestly. “It’s not your fault, I should’ve listened to you earlier. You kept saying you had a bad feeling about him and I didn’t really take it to heart…til’ now I guess.”
“Oh, Felix,” You sighed, cupping his face, your hand over his jaw subliminally believing that it would release the tension he held there.
“He’s out tomorrow.” His hand caressed yours as it rested on his cheek.
“Really?”
“Really.” He confirmed. “Maybe now I can get you, alone, yeah?” His body pushed yours back down on the doc so he was hovering over you once again.
"Felix," You laughed. "Always distracting me, aren't you."
"No 'm not," he mumbled, nipping at your earlobe. "You weren't doing anything important anyways."
"I was going to ask another question," You giggled.
"Okay," He answered, pushing himself so that he kneeled above you, a knee on either side of your torso. "What?"
When he was playful like this he was such a beautiful sight in front of you, you almost felt bad asking him a question as if you were ruining the mood.
"You're not really kicking him out are you? I feel bad."
He sighed. "I am kicking him out and you shouldn't feel bad, he’s in the business of misery it’s almost like his job to make people feel bad." He crawled back over you once again, something heavier within him now. You could see it in the way he clenched his jaw, his clouded eyes. His mouth made its way back to your body, this time trailing down your stomach, beginning to leave marks you knew you’d have to hide at the party tonight.
“Felix,” You frowned. “I just-”
He cut you off. “Enough, alright. He was a creep anyways, you said it yourself,” He told you and you nodded, internally agreeing.
“He’s going home after the party.”
The feel of his voice as he mumbled into your skin was enough for you to stop thinking about the situation for the moment. It wasn’t until nightfall you were reminded of Oliver's unrelenting presence—it was his birthday after all. Still, no matter where you were in Saltburn, you couldn't help but feel a pair of eyes upon you, you couldn’t help but feel that you were never alone.
"Can we go somewhere a little more private?" You asked Felix and he hardly registered the question. His hands up your dress the lights were dim, colored strobe lights bleeding in from the outside. The room was close to empty but the music could be heard throughout the house. You could ask him anything to anyone and it wouldn’t really mean anything—and it didn't help that the two of you were getting dizzy on champagne.
So, you didn't ask you question again but your eyes flickered to the maze that could be seen from the window and he understood what you wanted.
"Whatever you want, angel." He grinned, pulling his hands away to grab yours, taking you to the garden.
You scrunched your brows together. "I should be calling you that y'know."
He laughed with you. "You have wings too."
"But I'm a fairy"
"Close enough." You laughed to yourself as you and Felix walked through the house and towards the maze. There was a bottle of champagne in your left, Felix’s hand in your right, grounding you with each step. The more the time passed the less ideal it felt to walk in heels—you thought of ditching them all together. Still, they held the integrity of your costume, matching the chosen Midsummer Night's Dream theme. You'd dressed up as a fairy, donning flowers in your hair and a frilly slip dress, the costume obviously incomplete without wings.
Your heels pierced through the dirt once you’d made it to the grass, your feet sinking slightly with each step. You groaned to yourself, not going unnoticed by Felix.
“You okay?” He asked, stopping to turn to you.
“My heels,” You answered.
He furrowed his brows. “What about them?”
“Well…” You hesitated. “They’re killing my feet and they keep sinking into the dirt. They’re gonna get dirty.”
“We’ll we can’t have that know can we,” Felix replied, picking you in on fell swoop, your body now in his arms, your legs dangling from his grasp.
"Felix," You giggled his named through broken laughs, surprised with the immediacy of his action.
"What? You know I'd do anything for my best girl," He told you, returning the wide lipped smile on your face.
"I didn't ask you anything."
"You didn't have to."
You went limp in his arms as you sighed, comparable to an act of defiance as if you were annoyed, as if he did something wrong; but you knew he couldn't if he tried. He shook his head but the smirk on his lips was undeniable as he carried you the rest of the way to the center of the maze.
"You're insufferable, won't even let me carry you," He carped, putting you down and letting you lean against the cold metal of the statue as you put the bottle of champagne on the ground beside you.
"I did and you love me," You retorted, inching your face towards his, leaving a sliver of space between your lips. The bronze on your back that chilled your skin was a stark contrast to the heat radiating from Felix's body, from the warmth of the air around you. It was intoxicating, his breath on your skin and the breeze of the wind. Looking up at him you could see that carnal glimmer in his eyes when his hands roamed your body only moments earlier, and this morning on the dock. It was something you craved and that was something he knew and savored the fact.
"Well I can't deny that," He smirked before closing the gap between the two of you. You could feel the indent of his grin as he kissed you, his lips turned up into a wicked smile, something more depraved, but still, nonetheless, Felix.
"Why don't I finished what I started earlier, love?" He asked against you not bothering to pull away and you only moaned in approval. His lips traveled from yours to the lobe of your ear so he knew you could hear him clearly.
"You need to use your words, darling."
"Yes," You keened, wanting—needing more than what was being given.
"Good girl," He hummed, his hands drawing down the straps of your dress before they traced down the rest of your body all the way to your thighs. He hooked his hands under them, lifting you to sit on the base of the statue.
"This okay?" He asked, looking into your eyes for conformation, the raise of his eyebrows encouraging it verbally as well.
"Yeah," You sighed breathelessly. "But I still need you."
He smirked again. "Let me fix that then."
Felix's hands gently lowered the front of your dress, exposing your breasts and taking one of them into his mouth, moaning around it.
"You're beautiful, darling" He mumbled, groaning as his tongue slid over your hard nipple. His words were genuine but you couldn't help but feel a little cheesy, kicking your foot playfully at his leg and you felt his erection, hard as you did so.
"And you know that already," He chuckled, sucking your nipple more aggressively. "But it's true." His words made you ache with impatience, whine with desire. Felix pulled back before lowering himself to his knees, his eyes not daring to leave yours. Only when he licked an agonizingly slow, sloppy stripe against your clothed cunt his eyes focused on the sight in front of him.
You breath hitched in anticipation as he pulled down your panties with his teeth and taking them off, shooting you a wink as he pocketed them. Immediately after his gaze moved back to your wet pussy, wasting no time in tasting you.
He dropped his head and his tongue slithered to your clit, flicking the pearl a few times before wrapping his lips around it. Your core was hot against his face, your scent, heady and electrifying; he could spend hours between your legs. Your hand went to claw at his hair, your fingers entangling with his brown locks.
"Ri-Right there," You breathed, attempting your best to string a coherent thought together, but it was hard when one of his hands massaged the outside of your thigh while the other came up to your empty hand. Your fingers interlocking, his thumb kneading the side of your palm as he sucked harder at your clit. You squeezed it as you released strangled moans, strained from the attempt to stay quiet.
"You can be louder, love. No one else is going to hear you except me." You didn't believe him, swearing you heard something in the bushes move along with the fact that there was a full blown party happening in his house right now; but you couldn't help yourself either.
He slipped two fingers into you, eliciting a lewd moan with ease. Your legs pressed together and he almost felt suffocated at the momentary feeling of being entirely enveloped by you—but it was exactly what he wanted.
"Oh God, Felix," You fingers digging deeper into his scalp and he groaned.
His movements were mindless and uncalculated, but they had you reeling each time. He knew your body like a book, where to touch to have your head spinning. The longer he spent between you legs, the louder your moans got, your hips helplessly bucking up to meet his fingers and mouth.
"Atta' girl," he murmured against you core. "Cum for me, love, I can feel you squeezing me."
Your movements got sloppier, raunchier, as your orgasm approached swiftly. It struck you like a bolt of lightning, your body overtaken with rapture and relief. Felix watched as you come down from your high, his fingers still working you over.
"You did so well f'me," He coaxed, finally removing his fingers from your core and scaling up your body, his moving to cling to yours and swallowing any soft moans you had left.
"Need you," You whispered as his lips nipped at yours.
"Need me or my cock?" He chuckled, drunk on you.
"You know what I mean," You replied, hands already to undo the buckle of his belt.
He stopped you before you could go any further. "I know, I just want to hear you say it, darling."
You rolled your eyes in annoyance, the smile on your lips indicating otherwise. His brows darted up, goading you on.
"Please?" He pressed and you exhaled in pleasure, in desire.
"Need you inside me, Felix." The corners of his mouth turned up into that smug smirk you've known for so long and he nodded in thanks.
"As you wish, my love."
He was rock hard, heavy and hot in your hands, precum dripping from his tip. You were just as wet and desperate as he reached down as he lined himself up with your entrance, sheathing himself inside you without another moment of hesitation. His arms caged your body under him as he hissed at the feeling. He gave you a a moment, letting you adjust to his size, his cock completely filling you up as he was buried deep inside of you.
"You're so tight," He praised as he kissed you, moaning into your mouth as he began to move. The pace of his hips started slow, gently rolling into yours, your clit brushing up into his pelvic bone at just the right angle. Felix tuned into how your moans falter when he hit just right spot, the sensation going straight to your core.
"Feels so good," You keened as you wrapped your arms around his neck, bringing him closer to you.
"Yeah? Tell me about it," He asked as he increased his pace, the speed of his pounding becoming relentless, evoking obscene noises from you. You wrapped your legs around his torso, heels digging into his back as you gave him the perfect angle to go even deeper as his cock hit your g-spot repeatedly.
You were sure your nails were going to leave a mark as they clawed into his shoulders while his hand slowly travelled to your core, rubbing fast circles on your swollen clit to help you reach your climax. You clenched around him in a manner so desperate, cunt fluttering around his cock. You didn’t have time to tell him you were cumming, screaming and sobbing as ecstasy hit you like a brick wall. You arched your back as his name fell from your lips again and again like a hopeless prayer. He followed suit seconds later, soaked with you as buried his head into the crook of your neck. He came with a strident cry as he bottomed out, filling you to the brim. You went limp under him as he panted weakly with his voice hoarse in your ear.
Still hazy from your climax your eyes widened as you saw Oliver walk into the maze. Felix didn't hear him, but he took note of your expression.
"What? Are you okay? What's-"
You interrupted him. "Oliver." Felix's head whipped around to the man standing behind him.
"Jesus fucking Christ!" Felix exclaimed and you pulled your legs from his torso and fixed your dress. Felix pulled up his trousers, buckling up his belt before fully turning to face Oliver.
"What are you doing here, mate? I mean, really?" You didn't say anything, composing yourself as Felix stood in front of you. Oliver opened his mouth to speak but Felix cut him off before he could explain himself.
"Actually I don't wanna fucking know, I've seen enough." He sighed and looked back to check on you.
“I think you should go,” You said to Oliver. “Before you do anything more to embarrass yourself.” The words were harsh as they came out of your mouth but you didn’t know what else to say. You watched as he walked away with his shoulders slumped, no doubt some guilt weighing them down.
“Are you alright?” Felix asked you, turning back around. You nodded still processing what had just happened as it seemed the champagne had worn off a while ago. You grabbed the bottle off the ground and held it up, offering it to Felix with a smile he didn't hesitate to reciprocate back.
"To Oliver's fucking party!" You laughed confused as ever, taking a swig of the bottle before he grabbed it from you.
"To Oliver's stupid fucking party."

OPERATION : Oblivious Idiots
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4
Part 5 : “Diner Blackout”
The air in Chan’s hotel room was thick with confusion. Everyone was trying to piece things together, their brains practically overheating from all the back-and-forth theorizing. You sat on the edge of the bed, staring down at your hands as your thoughts raced. Something about the description of the culprits—a manly woman and her husband—itched at the back of your mind. It was familiar. Too familiar.
Something was definitely feeling fishy.
A manly woman.
What if it wasn’t a woman at all?
A man… dressed up as a woman?
The revelation hit you like a truck. The shock. That would explain it, right? The buff build. The deep voice.
But why would someone go through all that trouble? To disguise themselves as a woman?
Because… they didn’t want their identity to be seen.
Why?
Because… they were someone you knew. Or maybe they just didn’t want to get caught.
They also knew Chan’s room number. That meant they were close to him.
You sat there, your mind spinning at a hundred miles per hour, but you kept it all to yourself. You didn’t reveal it to the members. Not yet. Not until you were sure.
And then— after more pondering, Chan pulled you aside.
Chan shut the balcony door behind him, sighing heavily. The breeze hit your skin, but you barely felt it. Your mind was still racing.
“I think I finally remember why I was half-naked last night,” he muttered, running a hand through his curls.
Your heart skipped. “You do?”
He nodded, leaning against the railing. “It was… just too hot. The meds I took made me sweat like crazy, and I was too out of it to care. I guess I must’ve woken up for a second, took my shirt off, and then passed out again.” He exhaled sharply. “And as far as I remember, you weren’t even there yet.”
Your lips parted slightly.
So that’s why.
Everything was starting to come together.
You went back into the room, Chan following closely behind.
The others were still deep in discussion, analyzing every single possible theory.
“We’re going with the idea of two sasaengs,” Jeongin said, crossing his arms.
Chan shook his head. “It’s impossible. You know how tight hotel security is. No way two randoms could get that close.”
“But the chance isn’t zero,” Jisung countered, hands thrown up in frustration. “Until we find actual proof, we can’t rule it out.”
And so, the discussion continued.
You stayed quiet, letting them run wild with possibilities while your mind kept circling the earlier moment on the balcony with Chan.
Still, the group needed something to work with, and they weren’t stopping anytime soon.
Lee Know suggested it could’ve been a hotel employee working undercover.
Felix guessed maybe it was a past sasaeng who had inside help.
Even Hyunjin got a little wild, throwing out the theory that maybe it wasn’t targeted at Chan at all—but at you.
That silenced the room for a moment.
That… actually didn’t sound entirely off.
And before anyone noticed, time flew by and it was already dinner time.
Jisung groaned and flopped back into the couch. “My head’s gonna explode. I need food before I lose it.”
Hyunjin immediately agreed. “Same. Let’s clear our heads and eat.”
Everyone gave in—brainstorming on an empty stomach never helped anyone.
The hotel diner was quiet, classy, dimly lit with gentle ambient music playing through overhead speakers. You all walked in together, exhausted but hungry. The long rectangular table near the back was where you settled in.
You were at the farthest left end, back to the entrance, eyes facing the wall. Jeongin was beside you, and across from you—Chan.
You caught him glancing at you every now and then, a worried crease still etched between his brows. That furrow never really went away after everything.
Dinner was calm.
Until it wasn’t.
Lee Know and Hyunjin got up first, deciding to grab some fruit from the island across the room. Seungmin went next—grabbing a large tray and carefully stacking nine cups of juice from the “serve yourself” counter.
The boy really tried.
He balanced everything with more grace than expected… until he tripped over the leg of a chair that had been pushed out halfway.
CRASH.
Nine cups hit the floor. Juice splattered everywhere.
“Shit—” Seungmin cursed, dropping to his knees to clean up.
“Hyung!” Jeongin was already up and rushing to help.
Felix scrambled behind him. Chan instinctively pushed himself up too, but his injured foot kept him grounded near the table.
You turned your head to check the mess—
And then.
Darkness.
The lights died instantly.
The music stopped.
Every bulb in the entire diner fizzled out in one terrifying blink.
A complete power outage.
Pitch black.
“Everyone stay where you are!” Chan’s voice rang out with that sharp, commanding edge only he had. “Don’t move—if anything happens, shout immediately!”
But before anyone could react—
Rough hands grabbed you.
A palm clamped over your mouth, muffling your instinctive scream. Arms locked tightly around your torso, and you felt yourself being yanked out of your chair, dragged backward through the darkness.
Muffled cries escaped you as you thrashed, kicked, tried anything—but the grip only tightened. You heard distant voices shouting your name, heard your chair fall over, heard Chan yelling over the chaos—
“Y/N?! Y/N!!”
There was another set of hands. Two people.
One held your mouth.
One dragged you.
Chan lunged in the dark.
He reached blindly—grabbing at air, cloth, skin—until finally, he caught something. An arm. Solid. Thick. Buff.
His fingers curled instinctively around it, but in a second, it pulled away.
And you?
Gone.
The blackout lasted fifteen more agonizing minutes.
When the lights finally flickered back on—
You weren’t there.
Your chair was tipped over. Your plate half-eaten. Your silverware on the floor. But no sign of you.
Just like that.
You’d been taken.
Right from under their noses.
And the pit in Chan’s stomach dropped so hard, he could barely breathe.
He clenched his fists, jaw set, trembling not from fear—but from fury.
Because whoever took you… they were strong.
And Chan knew exactly what he felt when he grabbed that arm.
Just like the manly woman the receptionist described.
Just like the theory you had been turning over in your mind.
This wasn’t just a prank or a misunderstanding.
This was planned.
Deliberate.
Dangerous.
And now, they had to find you.
Fast.

Sitting in the living room getting ready for a movie seungmin came and plopped right down beside you. As you watched the movie you couldn’t help but get annoyed by the person in it. “Why’s this person so up there boyfriends ass?” You said shaking your head “she’s just being clingy no wonder why he’s getting upset with them.”
Seungmin laughed a bit “you know you’re like that sometimes” he teased not meaning anything bad by it however it hurt hearing. “Are.. you saying I’m clingy?” You said looking back at him. “Yeah you are sometimes.” He shrugged. He didn’t seem to see why it might hurt you which was even worse. Seungmin was always blunt with his words but this time his words really dug deep into you. “Do you really think I’m clingy?” You said your voice a bit shaky. “Well yeah I mean you can be clingy sometimes maybe not like that person but definitely can be.”
He saw how you looked upset and continued with “it’s not a bad thing just sometimes you can be a bit much.” Those words hurt even more. ‘Do I really bother him a lot? What if I’m being too clingy and push him away?’ Your head was running about a mile a minute. All you could do is just nod and go “oh” softly. Laying back just zoning off as you watched the movie.
After a few minutes sung kept his eyes on you looking over once in a while “you ok?” He said pulling you a bit to him. You nod “mhm.” He sat there studying your face “I’m sorry if I upset you with what I said you know I don’t lie to you.” He said his voice soft. “It’s fine” you said looking over at him giving him a fake smile. He sighed a bit “well if you wanna talk I’m here ok?” He said kissing your temple.
After that night you started to distance yourself a bit, every little move you made you second guessed yourself. His words just circling in your head. It felt like you were being beaten up by your own brain. You sat in your room crying feeling like you weren’t good enough anymore. Your messages had become short with Min making him feel bad as well, he knew you were upset but didn’t know how to help. He was afraid of pushing you away even more or saying something worse.
Seungmin had went to talk to Chan, to get advice about what exactly to do. “You said what to them?” His voice almost a yell. Sung lowered his head “I didn’t think it would hurt them like this though.” Sung said shaking his head. “Seungmin, they’re giving you what you want. They think they’re being clingy so they’re giving you space” he sighed “you know how much they’re probably hurting right now?” He said shaking his head at him. “You need to fix this before it ends your relationship.”
Seungmins head shot up “you think they’d leave me because of this?” He cried out. Chan shrugged “I don’t know man but I do know you need to go make this right.” He said patting his back. Seungmin nodded getting up, almost running out the door. He drove fast running a stop sign to get to your place.
You were lying in bed curled up in a ball, blankets covered you as you sobbed hard into your pillow. Everything just hurt it hurt so bad you felt like you were gonna throw up. Seungmin didn’t know he got his key and just ran in. He searched the house for you looking around, until he heard you crying. Opening up the door to your room his heart sunk.
It completely shattered at the sight of you. “Y/n” his said his voice low as he walked towards you. You didn’t move at all, as you felt him sit in the bed. You buried your head into the pillow as seungmin rubbed your back. You didn’t wanna look at him you felt like a wreck, I mean you were a wreck. You felt the bed move Sung making his way to your bathroom, you could hear water running as he moved around.
A few minutes later he patted your back softly “hey come here” he said softly helping you up. He wiped your face with a nice cool cloth before leading you to the bathroom. He kissed your forehead softly as he took your clothes off leading you into the bathtub he had filled for you. He took the shower nozzle wetting your before he started to wash it. He softly hummed one of your favorite songs as he washed your hair.
You felt your body finally relax the feeling of the warm water on you. His hands running through your hair massaging your scalp as he ran his hands down your back a bit massaging your shoulders as well. “Do you want to talk right now or do you wanna wait till we get back in bed?” He said softly as he rubbed your shoulders. “Bed” you said your voice raspy from crying so much. He hummed at your answer rinsing your hair before kissing your head again. “You stay here and relax a bit ok?” He said before leaving walking back into your room.
He grabbed some clothes out for you before he took your sheets off your bed. He wanted to clean everything and make everything fresh for you. He changed the sheets, your pillow cases and your blanket out. As he made your bed he also grabbed a glass of cold water and a cup of warm tea for you and sat it beside your bed. He also grabbed a few snacks to sit with the drinks he had grabbed. Placing your favorite stuffie on your pillow he heard you getting out. He placed your clothes on the sink for you and sat at the edge of your bed.
You walked out feeling a lot better than he had been, you smiled a bit seeing all the things he had done for you. Seeing you he stood up motioning you to come to your side of the bed. You nodded laying down in your spot chugging some of the water he had sat for you. Your curled back up in bed feeling Seungs arms slink around you, you both laid in silence for a few minutes before Seungs started to talk.
“I’m sorry your boyfriend is dumb and can’t stop saying jerky things.” He breathed out squeezing you tightly. “You don’t deserve the words I said, but I really didn’t mean it in a harmful way.” He continued trying to find the right words to say “I enjoy how clingy you are, I love that you want to be around me all the time, that you wanna talk to me about everything. I didn’t want you to stop.. I never want you to stop..” his voice trailed off hearing him sniffle a bit “I want you to always cling to me it makes me feel so loved by you like you cherish every moment with me.” He said his voice cracking.
You started to cry a bit burring his face into your back “I can’t believe I hurt you though, Im sorry it took me so long to come to you I thought you needed space. I thought-“ he stopped you could feel his hands start shaking “I thought my words made you hate me and you’d just end up breaking up with me when you’d see me next.” He cried harder into your back. He’s never really cried infront of you especially not like this. You turned your body to face him wiping his tears away “Min” you said softly kissing him.
“I could never do that, I just- I wanted to give you space and not be clingy. I didn’t wanna cling to you and end up pushing you away. I’m sorry.” You said running your hand through his hair. “No im sorry im the one that said the stupid stuff i did, I love you y/n with all my heart I need to start explaining myself more.” He said softly looking up at you. “I love you babe I love you so fucking much” you said pulling him tightly. “Let’s lay here and calm down hmm? I’ll order some food and we can talk more later if you want.” He said mumbling through your chest.
You nod kissing him again “sounds perfect my love, can we cuddle for a bit before we order?” You smiled making him smile too “of course” he said kissing you lovingly.

One day hyunjin finally asks her to tutor him and she gets surprised knowing he knows she exists. Hyunjin has hooked up w many other girls but y/n is different as shes not despo like them and thats what attracts him to her. They both meet late night at a cafe and y/n is wearing a black tank top which has her neck and chest exposed and her lacy bra straps can be shown as well. She covered herself w a fuzzy jacket before entering the cafe but eventually took it off whilst tutoring hyunjin. Hyunjin feels lusty looking at y/n being so effortlessly hot and unknowing of it, he also gets turned on by the way she sucks her frappe straw etc. But he controls himself and after their study session ends hyunjin offers to drop her home on his bike and somehow enters her apartment as well where she lives alone and cozy with a good view of the city. They both have a deep convo before it turns into hot late night sleepy smut fr (also unexperienced y/n doing things with the guidance of hyunjin) tysmm

MASTERLIST // my Ko-Fi
Hyunjin walked the halls of uni, his lazy walk attracting countless girls who would squeal under their breaths as they watched him pass across them, hoping silently one of them could end up being another notch on his bedpost.
Hyunjin would be lying if he said he didn’t notice. Or that he didn’t love it. He was never one to take advantage of it, but having that feeling around him, of being wanted, was awesome.
His friends also loved the attention people always had projected on him. It meant being invited to frat parties every single weekend, the coach calling them to the football team, and obviously, having girls flutter around them 24/7.
What wasn’t something that was guaranteed by Hyunjin’s popularity, was having good grades.
Hyunjin didn’t really study much, but he considered himself a smart person, so overall, he was a pretty good student.
Until literature happened.
He was so sure he was going to ace it, until a new professor, Mr. Jackson, came to uni and started giving out homework and assignments that were hard as fuck.
The boy couldn’t believe his bad luck, as every single assignment he handed in, returned with a very angry red mark in the shape of an F.
It was a Wednesday, when Hyunjin sat by the last seats of literature class, knowing how it was going to go down.
“Do you think you passed?” Changbin asked Chan.
Chan only snorted. “No way, man. I actually read the book he gave us last time, like 3 times, and the fucker still gave me an F” he rolled his eyes.
Hyunjin sighed. “I think I failed as well”
“Yeah, dude, you’ve been failing all of yours. What’s up? You never go on a streak” Jisung says next to him.
He shrugs. “I guess it’s this fucking dude that apparently has a thing against me”
“Nah, I don’t think so” Changbin said. “I mean, he has a thing against you, but I think it’s against all of us”
“Thank you” Hyunjin said with sarcasm.
“Yo, this friday we’re going to Seungmin’s, okay? He already gave me a preview of the place and it’s going to be big” Jisung said excitedly.
“I don’t think I’m gonna go” Hyunjin said.
His three friends went silent.
“Excuse me?” Changbin asked.
“Yeah, I’m failing literature way too hard and without a reason. And, I don’t know about you, guys, but I really want to get my degree. And literature won’t stop me from getting that” He told his friends.
“But mate, it’s literally one party” Changbin said.
“No, it’s one party every week” he told him. “Maybe that’s why I’m failing. Because I’m not trying hard enough”
“Well, it won't be the same without you there, mate, but it’s your call” Chan smiled slightly.
“Thank you!” Hyunjin said with a high pitched voice.
Mr. Jackson’s unwanted presence walked into the room and Hyunjin sighed in disdain. He wanted earth to swallow him up already.
“Okay, class, I’m handing you today your assignments from last class. I am… disappointed to say the least” the professor said and Hyunjin inwardly rolled his eyes. “Only two people passed, and that’s Mr. Lee, and Miss Y/L/N. Congratulations” the man smiled at two students who were in front of him.
Hyunjin frowned. He had to get the number of either of those people to help him pass this fucking subject.
“Oh, of course Minho passed. Ugh” Jisung faked a gag.
Hyunjin smiled. “What’s the matter?”
“See that guy over there?” he pointed at a guy with slight orange hair going on black, talking to a girl. “That’s my ex”
“Oh God, that’s your ex! Minho goes here? Since when? How did I not notice?”
“Yeah”
“Fuck…”
Jisung frowned. “Why do you say that?”
“I was going to ask him to tutor me, since I suck”
“No! No, no, no. You won’t ask Minho to help you. No way. Ask Y/N, his friend” Jisung shook his head.
Hyunjin frowned. “O…kay” he said slowly. “I will. Y/N… I think I know her. Her hair… sounds familiar”
“Yeah, we went to high school together” Jisung replied.
Hyunjin’s eyes widened. “That’s Y/N?” he asked.
“Yeah” He nodded.
“I didn’t… I didn’t even know she went here” he said with a confused tone.
“Why do you sound disappointed?”
“I… okay, I used to have a crush on her when we were in like… third year? And, well, apparently she didn’t like me” Hyunjin shook his head.
“You’re lucky I liked you in secondary. You were an ass”
“Yeah…”
Hyunjin straightened up his position when Mr. Jackson walked towards him and put the paper on his desk.
“Disappointed in you, Mr. Hwang” Mr. Jackson told him.
When he walked away, Hyunjin turned around. “He always says that” Hyunjin spat.
Jisung smiled. “I actually got a D this time”
“Yeah, I got an F like always”
Jisung pressed his lips together. “I really think you should consider talking to Y/N to help you” he told him. “She’s a good girl. And she’s super smart”
Hyunjin chewed on his lip. “Okay…”
. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁༉‧₊˚.
You put your paper away inside your bag and smiled at your friends.
“Okay, I am, like, so jealous you guys passed” Jeongin sighed. “I’ve only passed two of his assignments. And this is like the eighth!”
You smiled with a giggle. “It’s only reading and rereading the texts. This one was really tough. I’m lucky I got a C” you said.
“Yeah, I got a C-” Minho said.
“Yeah, sorry, why was Jisung staring at us?” Felix asked, nudging his forehead towards him.
You all turned around and saw Jisung talking to his friend.
Minho sighed. “I don’t even wanna know, honestly” he shook his head. “I can’t believe he’s still friends with that asshole, my God”
“Who? Hyunjin?” Felix asked.
“Yeah”
“He’s… not that bad” Felix scratched the back of his head sheepishly.
“Yeah, no. He’s horrible” you sighed. “He was always staring at me with a scowl on his face and being witness of his bully friends back in high school”
“Thank God those fuckers didn’t apply to this one” Jeongin sighed.
“Yeah. Unfortunately we got the worst. The witnesses” Minho said. “And of course, because the universe couldn’t have conspired enough against me, my ex”
“I still don’t know why you guys broke up” Felix said.
“Yeah, me neither” Jeongin shook his head.
“I just got tired of the people surrounding him. And the way they influenced him. He was one thing with me and a totally different one when he was with his friends. It was like he was embarrassed of me or something. Like they didn’t know he was gay” Minho explained.
“But they knew” You deadpanned.
“Yeah” Minho nodded. “And cherry on top, he cheated on me”
“He did?” Felix asked.
“Yeah”
“That’s horrible… well, good riddance, right?” You smiled at him.
Minho forced a smile, “Yeah… good riddance” he chuckled, unsure.
. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁༉‧₊˚.
You grabbed your stuff and quickly pushed it inside your bag as soon as the bell rang.
“See you next week, class. Don’t forget to bring your assignments” Mr. Jackson said and left.
“Hey, do you want to go to the coffee shop next to our dorms?” Jeongin asked next to you.
“Y-“
“Hey, Y/N” a masculine voice said behind you.
You frowned as you turned around, only to find none other than Hwang Hyunjin in front of you.
You arched your eyebrows. “Uh, hello?” you said unsure.
“Can I- Can I talk to you for a sec?” he asked, fidgeting with his hands.
The man was nervous.
Strange.
You turned around and looked at your friends.
“Call us if you need us, Y/N” Felix politely smiled at Hyunjin and winked at you.
“Yeah, you guys go. I’ll catch up” you nodded.
“Okay…” Minho said unsure, grabbing Jeongin’s arm and pulling him with the rest.
You turned around and looked at Hyunjin. “…What’s up?” you asked.
“I- I was just wondering… you know, since you’re basically rocking this subject and well- you and Minho are the only ones who passed the last assignment… I was- just… wondering if you could- I don’t know, tutor me or- or something?” he asked.
You snorted, unable to help yourself. “I didn’t know you knew my name”
“Yeah, I do. We- we went to high school together” he frowned. “Why?”
“Well, you basically ignored me in high school” you shrugged. “Figured we aren’t as cool as your wolf pack over there” you nudged your head towards his friends.
Jisung smiled and waved, while Chan and Changbin made a peace sign with a nervous smile.
Hyunjin sighed. “Yeah- well, I was an asshole in high school”
“I know”
Hyunjin inwardly winced. “So… about tutoring…”
You snorted and grabbed your stuff. “Goodbye, Hyunjin” you said and left the classroom.
Hyunjin stood there, watching you walk away while his friends snorted and laughed.
“I think this is the first time I’ve seen a girl reject you” Chan laughed while Changbin cackled with his infamous laugh.
“Ha-ha” Hyunjin said humourlessly. “That wasn’t funny”
“Oh, it was” Jisung laughed. “She literally laughed in your face”
“I’m gonna fail literature and never get my degree. I wanna die” he whined dramatically as he plopped down on the chair.
Changbin rolled his eyes. “Be persistent mate. Come on. You have that charm and effect on people. Use it”
Hyunjin opened his eyes and looked at Changbin. “You say I should- like- follow her around and-“
“Yeah” Changbin nodded.
“I never beg” Hyunjin shook his head.
“Well, mate, you gotta push your ego aside if you wanna pass literature” Chan shrugged.
Hyunjin nodded. “Yeah, I know. The girl hates me though”
“I wouldn’t blame her” Jisung shook his head.
“Why’s that?” Changbin said.
“Well, me and Hyunjin were with the popular group. Who were straight up bullies” Jisung explained.
“You guys bullied Y/N?” Chan asked, his eyes widened.
“No!” Hyunjin said loudly. “No, we didn’t. I don’t want to talk about high school. It’s been ages. Let’s just… move on”
“Okay…” Chan said unsure.
“Well, what are you gonna do, Hyunjin?” Changbin asked.
Hyunjin sighed and looked at the ceiling. “I think I’m gonna continue asking her”
“Yeah, figured” Jisung nodded.
Hyunjin looked at him with a frown. “Why’s that?”
“Well, you couldn’t stop staring at her ass, for all that matters”
“Hey! I’m not attracted to her, and I’m definitely not sleeping with her” Hyunjin whined.
“Sure” Jisung nodded with a smirk. “So, about Seungmin’s…”
. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁༉‧₊˚.
You opened the door of the café and walked inside with a scowl.
Minho looked up from their usual table and his eyes softened. “What’s up, Y/N?” he asked you.
You sat down with a huff and left your bag hanging on the back of the chair. “Nothing. This fucker just asked me to tutor him”
“The audacity” Minho rolled his eyes.
“Why’s that bad?” Felix asked, sipping on his iced tea.
“Because he’s literally the guy who made my high school life miserable!” you whined. “My life and Minho’s life”
“Oh, well, maybe he’s- you know- changed” Felix tried.
“Could be. The guy was staring at you like he was terrified” Jeongin said. “It was laughable”
“Maybe because he knows what he did” Minho added. “Typical bully attitude to get what he wants”
“I don’t know. He looked weird, though” You confessed. “Like he was nervous. He was all fidgety and awkward about it”
Felix hummed and looked down at his beverage. “Don’t worry about it, okay? It will be fine”
“Yeah, thank you, guys” You smiled at your friends.
“Don’t worry, Y/N. You got us” Jeonging winked, poking your cheek with his finger, making you laugh.
“I know. That’s why I love you guys” you smiled.
An hour passed and you and your friends were having fun, as Jeongin was telling you about his date last night.
“And then she laughs in my face, like- fully in front of me and I feel the stink in her breath. She had ordered ravioli with a cream cheese sauce that was showered with garlic” Jeongin said while you all cackled.
“Oh my God, and what did you do?” You asked.
“Nothing, I just contained my breath in and nodded at everything she said” Jeongin said. “Near death experience”
“And do you plan on texting her or something?” Minho asked.
“No, I mean, she was really cute but other than her attempted murder, we did not connect in the talking at all” Jeongin shook his head with a frown. “No way”
“Okay, let’s all look down or look like we’re in a deep conversation” Minho said, suddenly.
“What?” Felix asked, confused.
“Hyunjin just walked in” Minho replied.
Your eyes widened and Minho grabbed your arm when you were about to turn your head. “No, no, don’t turn around” he said, in front of you. “Okay, so my mother just died and we’re like- mourning or something”
“Good grief” Felix shook his head, biting on a muffin.
Hyunjin, as soon as he stepped in, started whipping his head around, trying to look for you. He saw the back of your head while you were engrossed in a conversation with your friends. He took a deep breath in and tried to collect all the courage he could muster and walked towards you.
“Oh, no, he’s coming” Felix whispered.
“Act normal” Jeongin said.
“Hey, Y/N” Hyunjin said standing in front of you.
You looked up and blinked. “Hyunjin, what are you doing here?”
“Man, my mother just died. Could you have some-”
“Minho!” Felix said, slapping his arm.
Hyunjin looked at them curiously and you huffed. “Don’t mind them. What’s up?”
“I know you said no already, and you probably don’t like me at all but I seriously need your help” Hyunjin pleaded. “You see, I need to pass literature to get my degree. Please, Ill literally pay you, whatever you want”
You chuckled and you moved your head to the side. “Hyunjin, are you serious right now? You’ve ignored my existence since we’ve met and now, when you need something, you acknowledge me?” you snort at the end. “Sorry, not happening”
Hyunjin let out a whine and out of literally nowhere, the man dropped to his knees.
“Oh my God” Felix mumbled and looked away.
“Y/N… I’m begging you. Please, please, please. I’ll literally clean your dorm, pay for your food, I’ll buy you whatever you want, just please, please tutor me” he asked, giving you puppy eyes.
You looked into his eyes and let out a frustrated sigh.
“Okay…”
“What?” Minho asked, in a high-pitched voice.
“Yeah, what?” Hyunjin asked, surprised as well.
“I’ll tutor you, just please get up. You’re embarrassing me in front of everyone” You said with a grimace.
Hyunjin quickly scrambled to his feet and nodded. “Okay, thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Here’s my number” he said, grabbing a pen and scribbling the number into a piece of paper and handing it to you. “Text me. We can meet tomorrow”
“Yeah, okay” you nodded slowly.
“Thank you, again, Y/N. I really appreciate it a lot. Sorry for bothering” Hyunjin said and quickly walked away.
You looked at him with a frown as he walked out of the café and then turned to look at Minho who was glaring at you.
“What?” you asked him.
“I’m just gonna ask one simple question. Are you playing stupid? Or were you just born with it?”
“Oh my God-”
“You just accepted tutoring the devil incarnate, Y/N!” Minho said dramatically.
“Did you see how he was begging on his knees? I don’t want to be as cruel as he was” you argued.
“The guy is the worst, Y/N. Come on” Minho insisted.
“I don’t know, Min. He really needed help” Felix tried. “I think it was sweet of you to give in”
“Thank you, Lix” you said sincerely.
“What if he just wants to sleep with you?” Minho asked.
“God, Minho! Hyunjin does not want to sleep with me” you laughed.
“Yo, why not?” Jeongin asked. “You would make a hot couple”
Minho faked a gag. “Please no”
“You’re into guys, wouldn’t you say he’s hot?” Jeongin asked.
“Yeah, he sure is. But he’s a horrible person so no. I don’t like him” Minho spat, shaking his head in disapproval.
“Okay. Why don’t we all calm down, hm?” Felix asked. “Y/N’s gonna be tutoring Hyunjin and we’re all going to be supportive friends and be there for her if she needs anything”
“Thank you” you mouthed and he winked.
Minho sighed and looked away.
“Just trust me. You know I wouldn’t do anything” you told him.
“Y/N, it’s not you I’m worried about. I know you’re not going to do anything. But him? Yeah, I don’t trust him” he said. Felix gave him a look and he let out a breath. “But… I’ll give it the benefit of a doubt”
“Great” Felix clapped. “Everything’s solved. Can we please go back to talking about Jeongin’s horrible date with the garlic breath girl and all?”
“Yeah” you nodded.
. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁༉‧₊˚.
You dropped your bag on the chair next to the door of your room and sighed.
“Wanna order take out?” Minho asked from the kitchen.
“Yeah, chinese, please” you called out.
“On it!”
You dropped your body on the bed and felt the purring of one of Minho’s cats next to your head.
“Hey, Dori” you cooed, brushing your fingers across the cat’s soft fur. “You missed me?” you asked and the kitty purred. “Yeah, you did”
You grabbed your phone from your jean back pocket and the piece of paper with Hyunjin’s number fell out.
Sighing, you picked it up and after a while of thinking, you added him into your contacts.
Y/N: hey, it’s y/n
You texted him and left the phone on the bed, to stare at Dori.
The phone vibrated and you grabbed it.
Hyunjin: oh hiii
You frowned. “A hi with three ‘I’s?” you asked yourself in a whisper.
Hyunjin: what’s up?
“What’s up? God, we’re just gonna be having tutoring sessions. You don’t wanna know how I’ve been” you harshly whispered to yourself.
You: fine. Do you wanna meet tomorrow at the café me and my friends were having a hangout until you interrupted-
You sighed and pressed the delete button.
You couldn’t send him that.
You: i’m ok. you wanna meet at the same coffee shop tomorrow after english?
Hyunjin: yeah, i’m okay with it.
You: great.
You left the phone on the bed and went to help Minho while he put on the plates and silverware on the table.
“Everything okay?” Minho asked.
“Yeah, yeah. I was just texting Hyunjin” you told him. “I told him he could meet at the coffee shop from today”
“The one where he rudely interrupted us?”
“Yeah, the same one” you laughed.
He smiled and then looked down. “I’m sorry if I was harsh with you today” he said quietly.
“Oh, don’t worry, Min. I know you’re just looking out for me”
“I know. I just… we suffered a lot in high school and- well, I don’t wanna go through that again. Neither of us” he shook his head.
“Aww, are you sweet talking to me?” you cooed.
Minho dropped his soft expression and rolled his eyes. “Man, you ruined the moment. I hate you”
“No, you love me” you said and wrapped your arms around him.
“Get off” Minho said.
“You love me” you said louder.
“Yeah, yeah, whatever” he said.
The bell rang and he looked at the door. “That’s the take out. Be right back”
“Go ahead. I love you too”
“Shut up”
You giggled as you made your way back to your room and grabbed your phone. Your heartbeat started beating faster when you saw the notification from Hyunjin.
Hyunjin: see you tomorrow, y/n :)
“Fuck, you stupid heart. Stop doing that!”
. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁༉‧₊˚.
You sighed as you tapped your nails on the wooden table from the café as you waited for Hyunjin.
He was 10 minutes late and you were so close to grabbing your stuff and fleeting out of there.
Suddenly, your eyes caught his figure being followed by a girl who was looking at him with a smile while he had a frown on his face. He said something, making the girl’s smile drop and walk away embarrassed.
You looked down and felt a weird feeling in your stomach.
Hyunjin, with a sigh, sat down on the booth bench. “Hey, I’m so, so sorry Y/N” he said, sounding tired.
You didn’t even have the heart to say something rude to him because he was late. “No worries” you breathed out. “Did something happen?”
“Oh, uh… no, it’s just this-”
“Girl?”
Hyunijn looked at you, wide-eyed and then let out a laugh. “Yeah, kind of”
“You slept with her and she wants more but you don’t want more?” you asked, feeling that curious, annoying thing on your stomach.
Hyunjin shook his head. “No, she’s uh… my ex-girlfriend” he said.
“Oh…”
“Yeah” he nodded. “We broke up a long while ago but- well, I broke up with her but she didn’t take it well”
“How long ago was that?”
“Four months ago”
“Four?” you asked and he nodded. “Fuck, that’s a long time”
“I know” he sighed.
You chewed on your lip. “Okay, we can start now. I’m sorry I asked, I just- well, you looked kind of bothered” you said.
“No, it’s okay. Y/N, thank you” he said with a little smile.
Those damn butterflies kicked inside your stomach and you inwardly rolled your eyes. You hummed and looked down at your computer.
“Right! So, the next assignment is to choose a sonnet from Shakespeare and analyze it. That means we’ll have to search, read some and well, choose the one we like the best” you told him.
“Oh God, I hate this already” he said, pressing his forehead against the table.
You giggled. “It’s not that bad. I collected a bunch for you to pick”
He pulled his head up quickly and smiled. “Really?”
“Yeah” you nodded.
“You’re the best” he smiled wider.
Fuck, that’s a pretty smile- FOCUS. “It’s nothing” you scoffed with a little smile too.
“No, really. It’s a lot. Let me see” he said and you pushed your computer towards him.
As he started scrolling through the different sonnets, his eyes couldn’t help but wander towards your face. You were looking out the window while sipping your pink drink with a sense of tranquility, something that was definitely lacking in his life. Hyunjin couldn’t help but feel his heart hammering in his chest as he admired your pretty face. He paid attention to the way you sucked on the straw of your drink and he bit his lip.
You were so attractive to him and you had no idea.
How didn’t you see it? How didn’t you notice him staring at you in high-
“You picked one yet?” you asked him, turning your head to face him.
He blinked a couple of times and nodded. “Y-yeah” he lied. “I picked one”
“Let me see” you said, grabbing the computer. Your eyes lit up and smiled at him, making him feel a flutter in his chest, something he hadn’t felt till now. “Wow, Sonnet 116. Good choice. You are one romantic guy, never thought of that”
His eyes narrowed, confusedly and then nodded. “Yeah… I guess you didn’t know that about me, huh?” he joked.
Hyunjin was in fact a very romantic guy himself, he loved cliché stuff and, whenever he painted, he tried to symbolize love as much as he could. He would paint red roses very often, thinking they symbolize an act of love, sensualism and mysticism. Hyunjin loved romantic comedies and he always cried with them.
But that was a secret he kept well hidden.
“Well, this one you picked is very beautiful” you said with a smile and he couldn’t help but reciprocate it. “Let Me Not to The Marriage of True Minds is one of his most famous works”
Hyunjin immediately took out his computer and started typing whatever you said.
“We can read it together” you said, pushing the computer so he could see it.
He nodded and you started reading some lines and explaining them to him.
Hyunjin stared at you attentively and tried to focus, he really did. But his stupid brain and heart had teamed up to sabotage this study session, because they were focused on you. You, you, you. Then, his eyes couldn’t help but go down as he took in what you were wearing.
Fuck, how did he not notice? You were wearing a black top that had a low cut and it gave a good view of your breasts, as your arms pushed them together due to your inclined position on the table. His mind started racing with different dirty thoughts of what he’d do to you if they weren’t in a crowded café. Hyunjin noticed you were wearing a lace black bra and it made him wanna grab-
“He’s basically saying that true love is not changeable, no matter the length of time” you explained, bringing him back to earth.
Hyunjin quickly typed, trying to convince you he was paying attention.
“He is so certain about his definition of love that, if proven wrong, then he was sure he had never loved anyone” you finished.
“Wow…” Hyunjin said. “That’s… beautiful”
“I know” you giggled. “Well, we have to, basically, do an analysis of it”
“Okay, how do we start?”
. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁༉‧₊˚.
Hyunjin pressed the point button on his laptop and sighed. “Fucking finally” he said.
“It wasn’t that bad, you gotta admit that” you smiled.
He had to admit, he did enjoy literature after all. “Yeah, it was actually interesting. Maybe I should’ve asked you for help a long time ago” he confessed.
“Well, that means you would’ve acknowledged my existence, which you didn’t until… yesterday” you said with a shrug.
That’s a lie, Hyunjin thought. “I… I’m sorry” he said and he mentally slapped himself.
“It’s okay. I’m used to it. Really” you said.
He frowned. He didn’t like the sound of that. He was about to open his mouth when you cursed.
“Fuck! Look at the hour, it’s almost eight” you cursed.
Hyunjin looked out the window and noticed how dark it had gotten. “Right, wow. I didn’t even notice” he mumbled as he looked at his phone.
“Yeah, me neither” you chuckled, putting all your stuff away.
Hyunjin frowned as he didn’t like the fact that this session was over and you’d probably go back to ignoring each other like you did.
“Hey, uh… do you wanna go back to my place? Like… to hang out” he said.
You arched your eyebrows. “Why?”
“Well, to be honest, I could pay you back with some take out. Whatever you want. My roommate, Chan, is out for the day with his girlfriend so I'm gonna be home alone” Hyunjin explained.
You leaned your head to the side.  “Are you inviting me because you feel bad for me or because you don’t wanna be alone?”
None, I just wanna be with you. “Both, I guess?”
You chuckled and looked away. “Hyunjin-”
“Please?” he asked.
You looked at him again and then sighed. “Fine. But we’re ordering chinese”
“Deal” he smiled, satisfied.
. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁༉‧₊˚.
“She did that?” You asked him as soon as you and him walked inside his dorm.
“Yep. And then she basically threatened Lily, my friend’s girlfriend, to stay away from me because she was jealous” Hyunijn explained.
“Oh my God” you mumbled. “That’s borderline obsessive”
“Yeah, I know” he said, dropping his stuff on the couch, “You can drop your stuff  and sit here, I’ll order take out” Hyunjin whipped his phone out and started clicking on the delivery app.
You did the same and noticed there were a few notifications from your group chat with your friends.
<Besties!!>
Min 🐈: hey, you alive bestie?

You chuckled and quickly typed your answer back.

Lixie☀️: say what?
Min 🐈: oh my god, I think i’m gonna faint
You: shut up. he invited me and ordered chinese as my payment, i happily accepted bc u know i’d never decline chinese 😀
You sighed. You knew Minho would never approve of this, he’d scold the hell out of you.
Lixie☀️: okay, take care y/n.
Innie 💛: pls text us if anything happens!
Min 🐈: yeah that
You: i will, thx! love u guys
“Okay, it’s on its way. Want a drink or something?” Hyunjin brought you back to reality and you quickly turned off your phone.
“Oh, uh… what do you have?” you asked him.
“I have wine… coke, water”
“I could have some wine” you smiled.
“Great” he said and took it out from the cupboards.
You walked towards the kitchen and sat down on the stools, feeling your hands get sweaty from the nervousness you felt.
“So… did your friends roast me via text?” Hyunjin asked. You pulled your face back and he chuckled. “I know you were texting them. You looked really stressed out explaining this situation to them”
You sighed and looked away. “Yeah, uh… I think it’s not news that they don’t like you” you chuckled humourlessly.
He nodded. “I don’t think you do either” he said. He hoped that was untrue.
“Well. I had my reasons” you said.
Hyunjin frowned. “Had?”
“Yeah, well, I think you weren’t just as bad as I thought” you confessed.
“Why’s that?”
“Well, you did ignore me in high school” you told him. “And you were friends with the people that made my life a living hell, while you stood there, watching”
He was about to say something but the bell rang. “That must be the delivery guy. Be right back”
He walked away from the kitchen and you put your head in your hands. What were you doing?
Hyunjin came back really fast and he placed the food on the plates, wordlessly, while you just stared.
Great, you ruined the whole mood.
You started eating and the silence was so loud, you wanted to fleet out the door.
“I didn’t ignore you” Hyunjin suddenly spoke.
You looked up and gave him a confused look. “What?”
“I didn’t ignore you. In high school, I mean” he repeated himself. “I was just hanging out with the wrong crowd, and I admit that. I just wanted you to know that I did know you who you were. I didn’t know you attended this uni, though”
You analyzed his words and expressions. He sounded sincere.
“I… it’s funny, actually. I had a huge crush on you” he said in a small voice.
Now, hold up.
“What?” you asked him with a frown.
“Yeah” he laughed. “You were really cute and just my type. But as I said, I hung out with the wrong crowd and it repelled people like you, fairly. And I wanted to be popular, because it was like a dream and it felt like being powerful but then I understood that it was stupid and there’s literally not a day in which I don’t regret hanging out with those people”
You blinked a couple of times, trying to figure out if this was a figment of your imagination.
“So, I deeply apologize” Hyunjin said in a small voice.
You nodded. “Okay… I uh… I did not know that” you chuckled nervously.
“No, you didn’t have to,” he said. “Really, I’m sorry, Y/N. If it… helps or whatever, I did want to defend you when they said those things to you and your friends. I was just too afraid to say anything, honestly”
“Afraid they’d do it to you” you said.
“Yeah, basically”
You hummed and licked your lips, deep in thought. “I had a crush on you too back in high school” you suddenly said.
His eyes widened. “Really?”
“Yeah” you chuckled. “Even if I hated you, I couldn’t… help it”
“Wow…”
“I never told anyone about this” you chuckled. “Not even Minho”
“Oh God, he hates me so much” he said, making you laugh.
“Yeah, well, you’re friends with Jisung, so…” you said.
He frowned. “What’s up with him anyways?”
You looked up in surprise. “Jisung cheated on Minho”
He looked really surprised to hear that. “What?” Hyunjin asked in a high pitched voice. “No, that’s not it. I mean, yeah, he accused him of cheating but Jisung didn’t do that”
“Yeah, well, that’s what Minho told me. Back at prom” you told him.
“Okay, that’s weird because Jisung did not attend prom” he said.
Your eyes widened. “What do you mean he didn’t go to prom? He said he found Jisung kissing other guy” you frowned.
“Yeah, no. Jisung’s grandfather had passed away the day before so he had to travel overnight to his hometown” Hyunjin said.
“Oh wow” you mumbled. “Well, then we’ll have to tell them and maybe…”
“Get them together again?” Hyunjin asked, with a little shrug.
“Yeah” you giggled. “You know, as much as Minho talks about hating him and all… I think he’s never really gotten over Jisung. He still keeps the necklace he gifted him and the collar he made for Soonie”
“Jisung’s never gotten over him either. He likes to gag at the mention of him but he still has that shirt, you know, the one they shared of-”
“Oh my God, from that Cat Café? The one that says-”
“Cat Café Lovers? Yeah, that one” Hyunjin laughed.
You chuckled and looked away. “Gosh, that was peak cringe from them”
“Yeah”
The chatter continued. You talked about everything and anything. It was like you both needed this talk from a long time ago, and you didn’t know it.
After eating everything and helping him with the dishes, you looked at the clock and gasped.
“Oh shit, it’s eleven. Fuck” you whispered. “I gotta go, I’m sorry”
“Oh…” Hyunjin said, sounding disappointed. “It’s okay, don’t worry”
He walked you to the door and opened it. He leant against the frame and watched you put your bag on your shoulder and look up at him.
“Thank you for the food… and the talk” you smiled.
“No, thank you. I’ll probably get an A from what we did” he chuckled. “You’re very smart and very kind to help me… even after everything I did”
“It’s alright” you nodded. “And you apologized, so, we’re good”
“Yeah…” he said. “I actually lied” he suddenly blurted.
You frowned. “What… did you lie about?”
He swallowed nervously and looked down at his feet. “I did like you in high school but… I didn’t stop”
You pulled your face back in utter shock.
Say what?
“I… seeing you the other day. It made me realize I didn’t stop liking you after all” he chuckled nervously. “Yeah, I thought you were really cute back then but, seeing you now, I see you got even more beautiful and it kills me that I did what I did. And I’m sorry if I’m making you uncomfortable by saying this but- well, I just thought I could tell you because-” he started rambling and you felt a rush of confidence to shut him up.
Shut him up by kissing him. Hard.
Your kiss shocked him but he was quick to grab your waist and pull you against his chest.
You pulled away and smiled at him. “I like you too, Hyunjin. Even if you suck at literature and stare at my tits the whole time I’m explaining a Shakespeare sonnet to you” you told him against his lips and he blushed.
“Okay, that’s-”
You giggled and pressed your lips against his once again, making him groan. He pushed you inside his dorm again, closing the door with his foot. Your bag dropped to the floor and he put his hands under your legs, hoisting you up in the air, making you wrap your legs around his waist.
Hyunjin led you to his room and then laid you down on his bed, all while literally devouring your mouth with his tongue deep, stroking yours.
He pulled away to kiss your neck and you arched your back, mewling and clawing at his clothed back.
“Hyunjinnie…” you sighed, combing your fingers through his hair.
“Fuck, Y/N” he whispered, biting on your skin. He pulled away and stared at you. “You are so beautiful”
You smiled shyly at him and when he went to kiss your neck again, you stopped him by pulling his hair.
“What?” he asked, caressing your waist.
“I just uh…”
“You a virgin?” he asked.
“No! No, no. I uh had my fair share of hook ups… but I am not like the most experienced so please-” he silenced you with a kiss, moving his hands under your shirt.
“You-” kiss. “-are perfect-” kiss. “Don’t worry, baby” he whispered and went to kiss you again.
Hyunjin pressed kisses on your neck down to your stomach, over your shirt until he reached the belt of your jeans. He made quick work of taking off your shoes and your belt.
You helped him kick your jeans off and he stared at your panties.
His eyebrow arched, as he looked at your laced black panties. “I wanted to feel sexy” you shrugged innocently.
He tugged on your legs, making you yelp. “Come here” he growled, kissing your lips as his hands groped your breasts through your shirt. “I’m gonna eat you out until you’re shaking, is that okay?”
You shivered at his tone and his honesty. “I…”
“Has anyone ever done that before?” he asked. You shook your head ‘no’, giving him doe eyes. “What kind of dumb men did you date? Who wouldn’t want to do that?”
He didn’t even give you time to answer, because he took off your panties quickly and shoved your legs open.
“Fuck, look at that. You’re so wet, baby” he whispered, smirking at you.
“God, do something, Hyune” you moaned, arching your back.
He chuckled at your desperation and swiped his fingers over your drenched entrance, making you whimper. He dragged those soaked fingers over his tongue and sucked them clean. As soon as he finished, Hyunjin crawled over you and kissed you, inserting his tongue inside your mouth, making your nails dig into his shoulders as you tasted yourself.
He pulled away and panted as he looked at you. “Do you feel how good you taste?” he asked and didn’t even give you time to answer as he dropped a quick peck on your lips and went down to eat you out.
Hyunjin’s tongue dragged over your core over and over and all you could do was hold onto the sheets desperately. He inserted his fingers and scissored them as he licked over your sensitive clit in a circle motion.
Your hands went to his hair and started pulling, making him mewl against your cunt. You pushed his head against your cunt, making his nose press against your clit as his tongue licked over you.
He had you cum on your tongue two times and then, he pressed a kiss over your pubic bone when he was finished, definitely leaving your legs shaking in pleasure, just like he had promised. He wiped his face with his sleeve and then grabbed the back of his tee, pulling it over his head, letting you admire his toned body.
Your hands immediately brushed over his torso and his abs contracted, feeling the goosebumps run all over his body. He pressed his chest against yours and kissed you again, really soft and sweet.
“How was that?” he whispered against your lips.
“Fucking mindblowing” you whispered, making him smirk.
“Can I take this off?” he asked, fidgeting with the end of your shirt.
You smirked. “I think you tortured yourself long enough at the café staring at me. Go ahead” you giggle.
He giggled back and pecked your lips and then pressed a kiss to your cleavage. “I couldn’t help it” he murmured and then grabbed the hem of your shirt and pulled it over your head. He stared at your black lacy bra, his hand going under you to grab at the clasp.
You didn’t let him, arching your back at taking it off yourself, exposing your tits to him.
His hands immediately grabbed them and pushed his face towards them, enveloping one of your nipples inside his mouth and sucking. You arched your back and moaned, gripping his hair tightly with your fingers. He sucked one and then another, then, pushed them together and licked over them.
“Fuck, Hyunjin, I need you to fuck me” you whispered.
“Okay, okay, fuck” he said, giving one of your tits one last suck and then leaned up on his knees, trying to take off his belt as fast as he could.
You helped him kick off his jeans and saw his erection straining against the fabric of his Calvin Klein’s. It was big already and when he hooked a finger on the hem and pulled them down, your eyes widened.
His dick slapped against his stomach and his hand went down to stroke himself.
He knelt on the bed and pushed himself to brace himself over you while looking for a condom. Hyunjin took it out and put it on quickly, and then went back to brush the tip over your entrance, making your nails dig against his forearms.
One of his big hands gripped your thigh and the other one held his cock to push it inside you. Once he did, you arched your back and he let out a choked moan.
“Fuck, you’re so fucking tight, Y/N. And so wet, shit” he whispered against your neck and then he kissed the hot, sweaty skin.
“Fuck, Hyune” you moaned.
“Yeah, keep chanting my name like that” he whispered, moving his hips as he hit your cervix over and over.
You let out a little yelp every time he hit that sweet spot and one of his hands went to one of your breasts, brushing over your nipple and pinching it every now and then.
He licked over your ear and pulled on your earlobe. “Do you know how long I’ve waited for this?” he whispered. “So fucking long, baby”
You put your leg over his shoulder, making him go deeper and pulling a moan from both of you.
His fingers found your clit, and as he rubbed it in a circle motion, it made you get closer and closer towards your orgasm.
You bit at his neck and moaned. “I think I’m gonna come, Hyune”
“Yeah?” he groaned. “Fucking come, then”
Your cunt gripped him tightly, making him groan and thrust even harder. You arched your back against Hyunjn’s chest and came around his length, feeling your vision go white and like you were about to pass out from the amount of pleasure the man on top of you was making you feel.
You barely noticed how he was losing control, as his thrust became sloppier. With a choked moan, he emptied himself inside the condom, his hands gripping the mattress tightly and then with a sigh, he collapsed on top of you, completely spent and satisfied.
Your arms wrapped around him tightly as he panted against your neck.
“That was-”
“Amazing, fucking amazing” he whispered against your neck.
You giggled and combed your fingers through his hair, caressing his scalp.
Hyunjin lifted his head and smiled at you. “You are so pretty”
“Thank you. You are very pretty, too” you said shyly and he blushed. “You blushing?”
He let his head drop against your chest and mumbled, “Shut up”
“You definitely are” you giggled.
“Shut up!”
. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁༉‧₊˚.
After he let you use your shower (in which he may or may not have sneaked in and ate you out against the tiles), you changed into one of his shirts and wandered around his room. You saw the canvases that laid on the desk and smiled as you saw the amazing drawings and paintings he did.
“Wow… you did this?”  you asked him over your shoulder.
“Yeah” he said shyly, brushing the towel over his wet hair. “They’re not the greatest-”
“They’re not? I think they’re museum-worthy, are you kidding?” you chuckled. “The way you painted that rose, wow”
He chuckled and walked over to you, wrapping his arms around you. “I feel so at peace with you, Y/N” he whispered against your neck.
You smiled and put your hands over his arms. “Me too, Hyunjin” you whispered, kissing his skin. “Me too”
“You have practice tomorrow at the studio right?” he asked.
“Yeah, we have that super difficult R&B choreo” you sighed.
“Really?” he asked.
“Yeah”
Hyunjin started thinking about a little something in silence and then spoke up. “Do you want me to change classes?”
You frowned and looked up at him. “What do you mean?”
“So that we can practice together. Maybe that’s the reason I never saw you here. Because we never got to practice together”
You let out a little laugh. “You’re crazy, Hyune”
“Yeah, crazy about you” he said and kissed your cheek with a loud kiss sound.
You giggled and shook your head. “Oh, fine. Change classes”
“Yay” he whispered. “What do you usually wear for practice?”
“Leggings…”
“Oh, it’s gonna be amazing, I’m so sure of it. I’m gonna have so much fun” he smirked.
“Hyunjin!”
. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁༉‧₊˚.
You and Hyunjin woke up with a loud buzzing noise coming from the night stand.
Hyunjin from behind you groaned and pressed his face harder against your neck. “What’s that, babe?”
“It’s just my phone, hun” you whispered as you grabbed it and looked at the ID of the call. “Hello, Min?”
“Where are you, bitch?”
“Huh?” you asked, surprised at his tone.
“You don’t come home, then you don’t show up at history, and you’re not here at the cafeteria” Minho said.
Your eyes widened and you sat up, looking at the hour. 10:04.
“Shit!” you yelled. “Hyunjin, we overslept!” you yelled, grabbing at his arm and shaking him.
“Hm?” he asked, confused.
“Hyunjin, wake up! We need to get to my dorm to change and then go to the studio! Come on!” you yelled, jumping off the bed and searching for your clothes frantically. “Where the hell did you throw my socks?”
Hyunjin took his sweet time sitting up on the bed and stretching his muscles. He scratched his eyes and blinked a couple of times. His head turned to the clock on the nightstand and his eyes widened.
“Holy shit, it’s 10 AM” he said, and jumped off the bed.
“That’s what I’ve been trying to tell you!” you yelled back as you ran towards the bathroom to brush your teeth in your bra, jeans and only one sock on your feet.
Hyunjin quickly dressed while you brushed your teeth. He combed his hair with his hands quickly and saw you get out of the bathroom, looking around for your shirt.
“What are you searching for?” he asked you.
“My shirt! I don’t know where you threw it. And my socks” you said, looking everywhere.
“Here, use one of mine” Hyunjin tossed you a shirt. “You look better in them”
You grabbed it and looked at it. “Thank you” you said in a small, shy voice and quickly pulled it over your frame. “My socks”
“Oh, here” he said. “I found them” he smiled.
“Thanks”
Hyunjin grabbed his stuff and smiled at you again. “Let’s go?”
. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁༉‧₊˚.
You and Hyunjin ran through the hallways, panting.
“To the right!” you yelled and quickly turned with Hyunjin following suit.
“There you are!” Minho suddenly appeared in front of you just as you turned the corner, with Felix and Jeongin behind him.
“FUCK! Minho!” you yelled. “You scared me!”
He was staring at you and Hyunjin with a frown. “Okay… please tell me that you are wearing his shirt because he clumsily dropped wine on it and those marks on your neck are just mosquito bites” he said calmly.
Your eyes widened and quickly slapped your hand over your neck, as you looked at Hyunjin with a glare. He just shrugged.
“I think I’m gonna faint” Minho said, grabbing his heart, dramatically.
Felix rolled his eyes and sighed. “Let’s go, guys. We have practice in two minutes” he said with a smile.
You followed them and Hyunjin did too. “I’m gonna ask my professor to… do what I told you, okay?” he asked, grabbing your shoulder.
“Okay” you nodded.
Hyunjin pressed a kiss to your lips and walked away the other way. You stared at him and then your eyes darted to your friends who were wide-eyed staring at you.
“No comments, okay?”
“Oh, no, you come here and tell everything!” Jeongin giggled excitedly.
. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁༉‧₊˚.
After practice, you sat with your friends at the café, telling them everything.
“It was like I had been wrong about him my whole life” you told them, after you finished.
“Wow, Y/N, he sounds like he really likes you” Felix smiled.
“He does” you nodded. “Hell, he liked me in high school? I did not expect to hear that”
“Yeah, no one did” Jeongin shook his head.
You looked at Minho and sighed. “Could you be supportive about this?” you pleaded your friend, pressing your hands together.
“What happened with the I’m not gonna sleep with him, he doesn’t wanna sleep with me thing? You bumped your head against a wall and forgot about it?” Minho asked.
“No, we just had a really good conversation in which he apologized and well… I kissed him” You confessed.
“Hold up, you kissed him?” Felix asked.
“Yep… oh! I have news about Jisung” you gasped, looking at Minho.
He looked up and his eyes widened. “What? What do you know?” he asked.
You smirked. “It was a misunderstanding, Min” you told him.
He scoffed and rolled his eyes. “Of course he’d defend his friend. I mean, what can you expect from him?” he laughed, humourlessly.
“He told me that he didn’t even attend prom” you told him and Minho pulled his face back.
“What?”
“Uh… a little context please?” Jeongin asked.
“So, basically, Minho saw what he thought was Jisung at prom kissing some other dude. They fought, they broke up, the end. But Hyunjin told me that Jisung did not go to prom, his grandfather had died the night prior and he had to rush to his hometown” you told him.
“Wow…” Felix said. “That’s- Minho, what do you think?”
“I think I need to go” he said and grabbed his stuff quickly. “Uh, sorry. Thank you for telling me, I’ll be right back”
You three watched as Minho left the cafeteria in a rush and then looked at each other.
“You think they’ll get back together?” Jeongin asked.
“I think so” you smiled. “They aren’t over each other. At all”
Felix smiled. “I can’t believe he has refused to date anyone this past year because he is still hung up on him”
“Yep. Their relationship was really intense and they loved each other very much” you smiled. “Hell, he still keeps lots of things from him at the dorm. I just pretend I don’t see them but they’re there”
“Like what?” Jeongin asked.
“You know that necklace Minho always wears?” you asked.
“Yeah, the one with the cat- No!” Felix suddenly gasped.
“Yeah, that one was a gift from Jisung” you giggled. “And then the collar that Soonie has, is a gift from Jisung as well”
“Oh my God” Jeongin said. “He talks a lot about hating him and now I realize he does not hate him at all”
“No” you chuckled.
“Okay, I’m having a deja vu” Felix sighed.
You frowned and turned around, finding Hyunjin running towards you. You couldn’t help the smile that ran across your face. “Hey!”
“Hi, good news!” he smiled and sat down on the empty seat where Minho was. “Where’s Minho?” he asked, realizing he wasn’t there anymore.
You and your friends smirked. “He went to search for the love of his life” Jeongin said, arching his eyebrows.
Hyunjin looked confused and you just chuckled. “I’ll tell you later”
“Okay” he nodded. “They let me change classes” he smiled.
“Really?” you gasped. “That’s great!”
“You’re practicing with us?” Felix asked.
“Yeah!”
“That’s awesome, man” Jeongin smiled.
Hyunjin smiled. “I know, I’ll get to practice with my pretty girl” he said, smirking at you.
You groaned when you felt your friends starting to poke at your sides and make annoying noises at you. “Stop it!” You groaned.
“Y/N’s in love” they started singing.
Hyunjin could only chuckle and shake his head.
He felt his phone buzz and he took it out. He read the message on his phone and frowned.
You noticed his expression. “What’s up, hun?” you asked.
“Why is Jisung texting me: Minho just kissed me?”
. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁༉‧₊˚.
Two weeks later…
You and Hyunjin sat next to each other and he fiddled with his hands nervously. You put your hand over his fingers and smiled, with a chuckle.
“Hyunjin, oh my God, calm down! It’s just an assignment” you told him.
“Yeah, I know” he sighed. “It’s just that I need to pass literature or-”
“You won’t get your degree, you told me already, yeah” you giggled.
Mr. Jackson came over with the assignments and stared at Hyunjin. He gave him a curious look adn then left the paper on his desk with a sigh.
“Here’s your work, Mr. Hwang. And yours Miss Y/L/N” he said, dropping yours on your table.
Hyunjin took a look at the paper and gasped. “I got an A!”
“Me too” you smiled excitedly. “See? I told you you were going to pass”
“I know, but it’s all thanks to you” he said, grabbing your hand and kissing it a couple of times. “Honestly, I don’t know what I’d do without you now”
You looked at him and pressed a kiss to his cheek. “You won’t have to wonder now” you said and giggled.
Your eyes darted to the couple in front of you and sighed.
“Ever since they got back, they won’t stop making out, it’s disgusting” you said to him.
“Hell, we are clingy and we don’t go making out like that” Hyunjin said.
Minho pulled away and looked at him. “That’s a lie, Hwang. Yesterday, I got scarred for life finding you naked on top of my best friend”
“Yeah, I got traumatized too” Jisung said next to him.
“Hey, the happy couples at the back!” Mr. Jackson called out.
“Sorry” you all four said in unison.
You and Hyunjin turned your head to the side and found Chan and Changbin mocking you, pretend-kissing each other while making faces. Hyunjin threatened to throw his pencil case while you laughed at them. Hyunjin looked down at your smiley face and his heart doubled its size. Maybe literature hadn’t been so bad after all.
Thank you, literature.

Tumblr media
Tense was the only way to describe how you were feeling ever since you arrived back from your trip into town with Changbin.
All of you were sat down at the dinner table now and you could feel Jeongin’s eyes staring you down from where he sat beside you. Curse the stupid mating bond- you knew he could tell something was wrong. Chan was no better, stealing glances at you from his spot at the head of the table. “Pretty, is something bothering you?” He asked, tone gentle as if he were asking you something as simple as to pass one of the dishes Minho had prepared. “Oh um…yeah everything is fine.” Jeongin huffs at your side, shoveling more of the fish that was on his plate into his mouth before giving Chan a look that let you know they both were aware that was a lie.
Thankfully, no one else seemed to question you and dinner continued rather uneventfully. You helped Hyunjin clear the table afterwards and while Felix moved to help him wash the dishes you took a deep breath and made your way over to Chan. “Hey uh- could I speak with you alone for a moment? It’s- kind of important…” His ears stood straight as he gave you a concerned look but nodded softly, taking your hand and leading you back to his room. You felt the nerves bubbling up in your stomach but this was something you needed to discuss with him first before bringing it up with everyone else. “Okay pretty, what’s been on your mind?” He asks as soon as the door is closed shut behind the two of you. Slowly, as if stalling for time, you make your way over to the bed and take a seat in the edge. You wait for him to join you before softly speaking up. “While we were in town this woman approached me….we uh- we went to this restaurant and had a long chat about something that I’m not really sure how to tell you-“ The wolf hybrid stayed silent, deep brown eyes watching you like a hawk causing you to swallow hard before continuing. “My grandfather- uh…it turns out he was a very, very wealthy man…and since I was his favorite grandchild- when he passed he left all of his assets to me.”
For a moment silence falls over the both of you like a blanket of fresh snow, the only sound in the room coming from the rest of the members in the rest of the house and the steady sound of your racing heartbeat. “So….you’re rich now?” His words lack their normal confidence, the command he usually holds as the head of the family drained from his tone and you nod slowly. “I guess I am….very rich, at that- but there is something else.” Chan takes a deep breath, hands braced on his knees and he looks like he is struggling to wrap his brain around the news. “Okay- what else is there? Stipulations? Is there something you have to do before you get the money? please don’t tell me you have to go back to your family-“ You cut off his racing thoughts by placing your hands atop of his own, looking at him softly as you press your foreheads together. “I’m not leaving you. Besides- my grandfather was not a part of any of that…in fact he hated it and it made him disown my father.” Chan nodded, taking another deep breath to calm his nerves now that his biggest worries were laid to rest. “Then what is it, pretty?” You bit your lip, pulling away slightly to look down at where your fingers were now intertwined in his lap. “In addition to all the money, which is mine indefinitely, there is also his house. It’s….from what little I remember of it, a very large cabin- practically a mansion taking inspiration from a cabin, honestly, on this huge mountain that overlooks the city.”
You can feel it as well as see when the wolf hybrid tenses, his scent dampening and causing you to feel the unease in your older mate. “Oh…so- you want us to leave here? To move?” Frantically, you shake your head and give his hands a reassuring squeeze. “No no no, Channie….im not saying that at all. Just- I didn’t want to keep this from you…” Pulling away to sit beside him with your hips touching and both of you facing the door once again you sigh deeply. “I honestly don’t know what I want….I think- there are definitely benefits to leaving…but that decision shouldn’t be up to me. I will stay with you all no matter where we are.” You explain, leaning your head on his shoulder. “Besides- with the money we don’t have to worry about anything anymore even staying here. We can continue on as we have been but with extra security knowing that if Hyune’s paintings don’t sell well we will be okay and there won’t be as much pressure on him to get rid of his work anymore.”
Chan is silent for a bit, the unease never quite leaving him fully but he seems to relax a bit more. “I think….we should tell the others. Let everyone decide together what we should do….this is our home, but home is also wherever we are together. I think you are right, there could be benefits to leaving but it shouldn’t be up to just us to choose what we do. We are a family and we should make this choice together.”
You nod in agreement, letting out the breath you didn’t realize you had been holding. The wolf hybrids hand giving yours a gentle and reassuring squeeze before he plants a kiss to your temple. “We’re in this together, yeah? This is a lot to take in…but at least now we know the woman who was looking for you from your sister’s letter doesn’t mean any harm, right? That’s a good thing. This is a good thing.” Chan offers you a smile and it’s as if all your nerves melt away. “You’re right…it’s just so much to take in- I’m worried about how the others will react..” He sighs, standing up before holding his hand out to you. “Well until we tell them you’ll never know. I’m sure everyone will appreciate being told sooner rather than later though, hm?” Letting out another shaky breath, you take his hand and allow Chan to lead you out and to the living room as he calls out to the others to gather around for a meeting. You stand side by side in the middle of the living room with your backs towards the small fireplace while everyone else finds their spots around you.
“What’s all this about? Is everything okay?” Jeongin questions with anxiety dripping from his words. You feel bad, knowing he is still worked up from how worried you were over dinner and most likely from how you and Chan had gone off without him. You gave him a small smile and nodded, hoping to ease his nerves as best you could for now from where he sat in front of you on the couch nestled between Hyunjin and Felix. “We just have some important news that we need to discuss together as a family.” Everyone seems to sit on the edge of their seats at this, eyeing the both of you curiously. “Well then spit it out and quit holding out on us.” Minho quips with a slightly annoyed smirk on his lips and a raised brow.
You take a deep breath, closing your eyes for a moment before starting. “I met a woman in town today who informed me that…well- to put it simply, I am the heiress to my grandfather’s fortune.” All eyes widen and Jisung jumps up from his spot on the floor with a childlike excitement. “Wait so like…you’re like a princess? Like the ones from your stories?!” You can’t help but giggle at his small outburst and step forward to brush your fingers through his hair fondly. “No, Hanji…I’m not a princess. But- I guess I am kinda rich like one?” His eyes that at first went dim at you not being a princess seemed to sparkle once more at the mention of riches. Changbin is the next to speak up, head tilted to the side causing his fluffy black ear to flop sort of lopsided and giving you the strong urge to reach out and fix them for him. “So that’s where you went off to on your own- why didn’t you tell me sooner?” He pouted a bit, clearly hurt you couldn’t trust him with this knowledge on your long walk back to the cabin. You frowned, moving to sit on the arm rest of the chair he occupied. “Bin, I promise I did want to tell you…it’s just- there is a little more to it than the money and I wasn’t sure how to bring it up at the time.” He nods a bit in understanding, still clearly a bit upset but before you can comfort him further Jeongin is speaking up. “More? What more is there? Pretty just tell us what is going on.”
Chan steps in then, sensing that things were starting to spiral and that you were beginning to get overwhelmed taking all of this on alone. “There is a house. Pretty inherited it along with the money and it is ours to live in if we wish to. I know that’s a lot to take in…the money and potentially moving- it’s not something we have to decide on right now but it is something we need to decide together.”
Silence falls over the cabin, the sound of crickets chirping and the distant hoot of an owl echoing throughout the walls from outside as the news sinks in. Your eyes locked with Jeongin, sensing a storm brewing in the fix hybrid’s mind though his expression remained blank. You could feel through the bond you shared with your mate that this was troubling him but you yourself were too anxious about how everyone would react to speak up and single him out about his opinion on the situation at hand. Hyunjin is the first to break the silence. “I think it’s a good idea to leave. This place….its been tainted. There are so many bad memories here now- hell we all sleep in the same room cause some of us have nightmares so bad from it all.” Changbin joins him, reaching out to intertwine their fingers while giving him a soft smile. “As sad as it is to admit…I think Jinnie is right. This place will always be special to me, to all of us…it’s what brought us together and gave us a sense of safety and independence. But- we have to be honest with ourselves….its never going to be the same after everything. This could be a new start for us.”
Jisung worries his lower lip, already back to his spot seated on the floor by the couch with his knees pulled up tightly to his chest. “I dunno guys…I get it- bad stuff happened here and set us a bit on edge but I’ve never been very far from these woods ya know? It’s all I’ve ever known…” You frown, instantly moving from where you sat on the bunny hybrid’s chair to join Jisung on the floor and pull him close to you. “I know it’s scary leaving all you’ve ever known behind…trust me- but whatever we end up doing we will still be together. We are family, each others’ home.” This seems to calm him down a bit, relaxing against your body almost instantly and curling up into your side snuggly.
Everyone begins chattering about the pros of moving, asking about what the new home will be like, if everyone will get their own rooms, what they will need to pack to bring to the new home when suddenly someone behind you shouts. “No! We are not leaving the cabin, no one is moving! Are you guys out of your minds?” Minho huffs, throwing his arms up angrily as he gestures around the room. “This is our home. We can’t leave, no one is leaving!” You stand up slowly, moving towards the cat hybrid but before you can get within arms reach he jumps back and hisses at you causing Jeongin to jump in front of you defensively. “Watch it, Minho-hyung.” He glares, ears standing tall and the normally soft fur on his tail bristling. “I’m not talking about this anymore. It’s stupid and we aren’t going.” Minho scoffs, storming off to his shared room with Felix upstairs. You make a move to go after him but a hand closes around your wrist gently before you hear the loud slam of the door being shut behind him and the tell tale sound of the lock clicking into place. You hear Chan sigh behind you before clapping his hands together causing you to jump slightly. “Alright, we all have a lot to think about…let’s all get ready for bed and we can talk more about this in the morning.”
With that, everyone dispersed from the living room though the hand that had held you back from going after Minho kept its grip around your wrist. You take a deep, shaky breath before turning around to face Seungmin who gave you a sad look. “Seungmi-“ the beagle hybrid cuts you off by tugging gently and leading you over to the couch where he sits the both of you down. “You know, it’s not a bad plan…moving, I mean-“ He says after a moment of silence between the two of you. “You think so?” Your voice is soft, the question barely a whisper as you’re almost afraid of spooking the other and causing him to run away from you once more.
He nods, his brown ears flopping around with the movement causing you to hold in a giggle. “I do. We aren’t exactly safe here…and we knew we wouldn’t always be hidden. Sure- we can take all the precautions we can but that isn’t a guarantee that no one will stumble across us. I mean….you did, didn’t you?”
You sit for a moment taking in what he had to say, biting at your lower lip anxiously as your thoughts begin to spiral. Almost as if he can sense this, Seungmin takes your hands into his own accusing your head to snap up and your eyes to meet. “I know it’s a big decision, and Minho hyung’s outburst didn’t help the nerves you are probably feeling about it all, but everything will be okay. The cat is probably just scared and he doesn’t handle his fear well- or any strong emotions for that matter..”
The two of you sit like that for a while, your hands in his and his eyes watching you intensely as his thumbs brush over the backs of your hands in a soothing manner. The way he is comforting you, or at least attempting to, without pulling away causes you to change the subject before you can fully think out your words. “Why do you always push me away? I haven’t done anything to upset you have I?”
Seungmin tenses slightly but immediately relaxes, giving your hands a gentle squeeze before letting them go to set his own hands back in his lap. “I uh….I don’t know what the others have told you about my past so I guess it’s best to just start from the beginning. I mean- you deserve to know…I should be more open with you seeing as you are part of this family now.”
You sit up straight, giving the hybrid your full attention as you wait for him to begin his story. With a deep breath, he starts. “I came from a hybrid breeding facility…they aren’t regulated, in fact I’m pretty sure they are technically illegal but find ways to skirt around the laws in order to not be shut down.” Beginning to pick at the hem of his shirt, Seungmin continues while being unable to meet your gaze. “Pretty sure I was born there- cause I don’t remember anything before being in that place. As a pup it wasn’t so bad…we were treated very nicely, actually. It wasn’t until I reached puberty that things took a turn and I saw how cruel humans could be…” Sensing where this was going you spoke up quickly. “Seungmin you- um…you don’t have to tell me if it’s too hard..really.” He frowned, eyebrows furrowed tightly as he shook his head. “No no- I’m good. Like I said, you deserve to know.” You gave in to his insistence, scooting a bit closer to him incase he needed comfort but not close enough to be touching him at all in case that wasn’t something he wanted at this moment considering what it was you were discussing.
Seungmin bit his lower lip, once again taking a deep breath before starting his story up again. “I was kept in a room…in was so- medical? Sterile. I um…I wasn’t allowed to wear any clothes and they would either bring female beagle hybrids to my room or I would be brought to theirs- and well…ya know-“ He seemed to struggle getting the words out, tears welling in his eyes. “We had to breed, I guess is simplest way to put it? Constantly. My breeding partners got a slight break in between when they were carrying pups but it was like every moment of every day…”
You couldn’t help but tear up at his words, inching closer once again. “Seungmin…oh my goodness I’m- I can’t believe that you had to go through all of that. You know you didn’t deserve any of that right? That what they did to you was-“ “sexual assault? Yeah…I know. They had me wear a muzzle as well so I wouldn’t be able to mate any of my breeding partners. Since canine hybrids mate for life it would mean they wouldn’t be able to breed either of us with another hybrid and that would cut down on the amount of hybrids I could impregnate at one time…I got thrown out because one day I bit one of my handlers on the arm when then tried to put the muzzle on me.” Seungmin chuckled a bit at that, shaking his head. “I thought they were going to kill me but instead they took me out behind the facility and told me to run. I thought for a while they would be chasing after me with guns…like some sick sort of hunt? But after a day of running in the woods I realized they weren’t concerned about physically taking me out since I’d probably starve to death out there after having be pampered so heavily as a pup and not knowing how to take care of myself.”
You took in his story, tears welling in your eyes as you admired how strong he had been to make it on his own despite what those at the facility had believed. Silently, he closed the small space between the two of you so that your knees pressed against his thigh where you were sitting and rested his head against your chest. The position shocked you a bit and you hesitantly brought your hands to Seungmin’s head to gently comb your fingers through the hybrids hair. “You know…ever since you got here I’ve wanted to get closer to you. I feel- drawn to you unlike I have anyone else before.” This shocked you beyond words, eyes widening and your hands stilling in their motion atop his head. “Really? But…you’ve always been so distant…if I’m honest I thought you hated the idea of having me around.” You couldn’t help the breathless chuckle that escaped you, shaking your head a bit.
Seungmin sighed, nuzzling his head against you to get you to continue playing with his hair. “I know. I saw how Jeongin was with you and thought I didn’t have a chance. You had already bonded with him even before mating and well…I also couldn’t do that to him- he cares about you so much and mating is supposed to be with just one partner so if I had tried to bite you he’d probably have killed me.” You couldn’t help but laugh a bit at that. Then you recalled the day your beloved fox had bit you, and how it was Seungmin who had been the one to pull him off. “Everyone else was shocked that innie was able to give me a successful mating bite….but you- how did you seem to know he would be able to mate with me?” The beagle hybrid shrugged and sat up straight to look you in the eyes. “It happened once at the breeding facility. There was a male attendant that one of the hybrids was very fond of and one day while he was tending to her she bit him…no one knew at first why it took but she was a beagle hybrid like me and well- it was his blood.” To say you were confused would have been an understatement. “His…blood? Like- was she a vampire or something?” Seungmin scoffed and gave your shoulder a slight shove playfully. “No. The attendant had hybrid blood in him. I guess somewhere back in his family tree someone had mated with a hybrid and they had pups together but over time the physical hybrid traits got bred out. He looked, and for all we know, thought he was a normal human. Just like you…”
Just like….me? You couldn’t help but sit in silence at that, frozen. “Seungmin-“ He stopped you, tilting his head to the side before leaning in closer so that his nose brushed against the column of your neck. “I don’t know how the others haven’t picked up on it…or maybe they have but they just don’t know what exactly they are looking for- or assume it’s our scents rubbed off on you?” As you felt his breath tickling your skin a shiver ran up your spine. “Are you trying to say I’m a hybrid?” He shook his head, pulling back to sit up straight in front of you. “No, I’m saying somewhere down the line you have an ancestor who was a hybrid. You have hybrid dna inside you but it’s buried so deep you don’t have the physical attributes.” You opened and closed your mouth a few times before responding to him. “So you knew that Jeongin’s bite would take…” Seungmin nodded, stretching a bit as he stood. “Yes. But Chan did take me for a loop…I guess the human dna made it so you can have more than one mate.” You sat there, watching as the beagle hybrid leaned down to give a kiss to your forehead before heading for the stairs. “Come on, it’s late and we should be getting ready for bed.” With that, he went off to his room but you knew he would end up with everyone else sprawled across Chan’s room in various sleeping positions either on the bed or floor.
You stay in your spot, unable to fully wrap your head around this newfound knowledge of your own self. It…it couldn’t be true, right? It would make sense as to how your body was so easily adapted to being able to sense the others scents and your heightened sense of hearing. It’s almost as if the bond with Jeongin had awoken something within you….
Shaking the overwhelming thoughts from your mind, you forced yourself up and towards your shared room with the youngest to get dressed for bed. It’s not like you had slept in the room much since everyone found comfort in sharing a room at night time, but your belongings still resided there. Even though you had your own clothes back from your campsite and a few extras you had gotten from town as things had become too cold for your summer attire, you still slipped on one of the fox hybrids shirts and a pair of his boxers to sleep in before padding over on sock clad feet to Chan’s room.
Everyone was already settling down as you entered and made your way to crawl in bed between Chan and Jeongin until you froze. “Where are Felix and Minho?” You asked, sitting at the foot of the bed while you looked around the room in confusion. “Upstairs…Felix went to make sure Minho was okay after the meeting and I guess they just need some space to think about it all.” Jisung answered before snuggling up in the middle of a Hyunjin-Changbin sandwich. You sighed, worry settling in at the absence of your two beloved felines. “I’m sure they will come to us if they need us, pretty…those two have been through a lot together I’m sure they will be okay for one night.” Chan comforted you as he practically scooped you into his arms and pulled you down on the bed with him. Jeongin was snuggled into your side in an instant, giving your lips a soft kiss before letting his eyes fall closed. “Let Minho hyung cool off with Lix hyung and I’m sure things will be okay.” Sighing, you decided to trust their better judgment. Though you laid awake for hours wondering if you should also go to check on the second oldest, sleep did eventually win over and you spent the night in a somewhat fitful sleep as your wind continued to worry over troubles you could not at that moment control…but as your loving mr fox had said, things will be okay.

“I think you need help, man.”
“What’chu talking about, I’m fine.” The man you were basically carrying on one shoulder tried to stand up, tripping over his feet and words.
“See?” He stumbled, standing up on one foot to prove his sobriety. “Are you proud of me now?” He flashed an endearing smile at you. Your face flushed at the sudden eye contact. You covered it with a groan as Chris fell right into your arms again.
Instead of the quiet evening you had planned, you had never imagined that you'd end up spending your Sunday night at a restaurant watching over eight guys drinking as if it's their last day and telling a very drunk Christopher that you were proud of him for standing up.
You turned around as you heard a click sound behind you, and saw a chuckling Felix clicking pictures of their leader.
“Aw man,” Jeongin looked over his shoulders. “That has such good blackmail potential.”
“Or a really cute birthday post.” Felix cackled.
“Hey, come on now guys, don’t—” Felix turns his screen towards you with a smirk. “—forget to send that picture to me. Anyway, instead of smiling like fools, come here and help me get him in the car.”
Changbin and Jisung walk towards you, followed by Minho and Seungmin, who were the most sober of the bunch, and helped carry Chan off of your shoulders.
“Hey, no, wait,” Chris whined as soon as Changbin pulled him off of you, his senses seeming to come back to him. “Let me drop you home, y/n.”
“Chan,” Your eyes went soft with a smile. “I would love to, but neither of us are sober enough to drive, and I—”
“She's coming with me, man, not with your drunk ass,” Hyunjin walked over, casually draping an arm over your shoulders. “Lets get going, y/n. We can't be late.”
As you gave Christopher’s hand a squeeze and walked over towards Hyunjin, it felt as if you had squeezed the life out of Chris.
Had he misunderstood you this whole time?
As Chris sat sandwiched between Jisung and Changbin in the backseat, he saw you and Hyunjin get into another car while you were giggling with an arm casually wrapped around his waist.
As you got into the car, he saw Hyunjin hand you a present.
Chris thought you and him had something going on; he didn't know what, but he sure felt something. And those feelings were stronger this evening, when each smile he brought out of you made his heart ache and his lips twitch up.
But was it only him who was feeling that way?
“You okay, Chris?” Minho called out from the driver's seat, looking over at him with concerned eyes. “I've never seen you drink so much.”
“Ah, yeah, don't worry about me,” He rubbed his face with a groan, the effect of the alcohol making him tired. He smiled as he felt Changbin and Jisung’s heads fall on his shoulders with a soft thud. “You know how hectic it has been with the new single. I guess I just wanted to let loose for a moment.”
“I get it,” Minho paused, debating on whether to continue or not. “I just… I hope you're not pushing yourself too much, Chan. We're here to help you if you need… and y/n’s here too. So just, reach out, okay?”
“Mhm,” Chris smiled. “I will. Thanks, Minho.”
Usually it would seem weird that they were having a heart to heart after a night-out when one of them was sober, but Chris understood where Minho was coming from.
It was unusual for Chris to drink, let alone get drunk, so he might think that something was on his mind for him to drink like that.
But little did Minho know, it wasn't something, but rather someone.
Chan wasn't even planning on drinking, knowing he had a producing session the next day, but when his stupid friends suggested a game of a shot for a secret, he couldn't help but comply, intoxicated not by the soju, but by the need to learn more, to know more about you.
But as he remembered seeing you wrap an arm around Hyunjin as if it was the most natural thing in the world, Christopher didn't know what to feel.
The only thing he was sure of now was that no matter how he felt, the feelings of his brother came first; he could never do something that would hurt Hyunjin, or put you in an awkward position.

Y/N, although a fairly new producer at JYPE, was already popular amongst other artists. She had almost received a celebrity status, when even the public knew a song produced by y/n was sure to top the charts.
But as a kpop fan since her younger days, for y/n, her job was more like a paid hobby, where she got to meet and collaborate with other artists.
So, when she was proposed to co-produce several songs for Stray Kids’ new album, she jumped at the opportunity; not only because of the group’s popularity, but also because she was a die-hard fan of the group.
She was obsessed with their music, their  vision and the momentous impact they’d had on artists and fans around the globe— she felt honored that she would be able to leave her mark amongst their talent.
She was excited to work with them; even while casually greeting them in the halls of the building, she found their energy to be highly contagious. And that feeling remained when she became close friends with the members only after a few weeks of working with them.
While becoming friends with all the members, y/n couldn't help but want something more with a special member.
Maybe she did have a tiny crush on him even before they started working together; greeting him in the elevator or bumping into him while getting coffee used to be the highlight of her day.
But after spending more time together, it wasn't just his extremely handsome face, but he became incredibly attractive to her once she saw the way he treated those around him, his commanding but caring personality and his charming aura.
Being co-producers, she always had to spend time with him, and looking at him in his element, his passion is what made her look up to him as a fellow artist too.
Y/n was down bad, but how couldn't she be?
Because the person living rent free in her head was Christopher Bang of all people.
But what excited her, was the fact that maybe she wasn't the only one feeling that way—
From asking her to hang out with them during dance practice, to purposefully going on coffee-runs together, or going on late night drives on the guise of dropping her home when both of them knew they had drivers.
Y/n couldn't help but feel delusional and believe that Chan was doing these small gestures as a way to spend more time with her.
And maybe. Just maybe, her suspicions were proven right last night, when in a crowded restaurant, it felt like it was just the two of them.
As the group decided to go out to celebrate, everyone expected Chan to look after them, as always, and stay relatively sober for his session the next day. But contrary to popular belief, when y/n saw him gulp down shot after shot to know more about her, y/n couldn't help but feel special.
As the other members were immersed in their own conversation, Chris and y/n were in a different world.
They shared their hopes and dreams and desires, and the moment that y/n knew that this moment counted for something, that it was different, is when Chris told her, the most relaxed and genuine she had ever seen him, that “It's nice being just Chris, for once. Thank you for not being bored of Christopher y/n.”
She knew as a leader, and as a performer in general, how much responsibility Chris had to shoulder on a daily basis. And hearing him say that made y/n feel somewhat proud of herself, for letting him let go for once.
In the dead of night, when half the city was asleep, she whispered in the softest voice, almost unknowingly, as she helped him walk out of the restaurant.
“I think I'm in love with you, Chris.”
But as he stumbled over invisible rocks, y/n felt thankful for drunk Chris because spilling it out like that felt like a mistake.
But once hearing it out loud, she understood these feelings were here to stay, so she decided she would have a conversation with him once he sobered up.
But now, roughly an hour had passed of them sitting uncomfortably in the recording booth, and for the life of her, y/n couldn't figure out what the hell was going on with Christopher Bahng.
As she had entered the recording booth an hour ago, she’d felt herself smiling instinctively as she saw Chris sitting on the couch, nervously clutching the hangover medicine in her hands.
“Hey,” Y/n stood in front of him with an uncharacteristically nervous smile. “How are you? Yesterday was wild, right? I brought hangover medicine for you… I wanted to make sure—”
“Oh, I'm okay.” Chan replied nonchalantly, not looking up from his phone. “Just so you know Changbin and Jisung will be late, so you can probably save it for them, I guess.”
This was different.
Chris, no matter how busy or preoccupied he was, always made an effort for the other person, may it be the other members or a polite barista.
The thought hitting her like a pile of rocks, y/n realized what if he had actually heard her confession last night and this was his way of rejecting her?
But no matter what, they still had to work on the songs together, and y/n thought maybe this was for the best, so that they could still continue working together as if nothing had happened, because no matter what, y/n did not want her own feelings to meddle with Stray Kids’ performance.
But as an hour had passed with them making little to no progress on the new song, y/n was fed up.
They usually had such good chemistry, and it felt like their production and arrangement styles merged perfectly, but honestly, she felt like Chris was being a major asshole now.
Chan was working as if she wasn't even in the room, or when she made a suggestion, he added it without as much as a thought, making her feel as if he was just humouring her.
Okay, maybe it was hard to work with someone you know has a crush on you, but did he have to act as if he couldn't even stand when your hands brushed together?
Y/n was hurt, but as a workaholic, she was also frustrated by his closed-off behavior. She was surprised too, because she knew how much Chan valued his work, so it made no sense for him to be acting this way.
“Okay, man.” Y/n finally snapped, when they'd been replaying the same three second audio clip from the last fifteen minutes. “What's your problem?”
“What's my problem?” Chan had the audacity to act surprised. Y/n hated how she still found his accent attractive in this situation. “I don't know, maybe you'd like to answer that when you've been the one silently just sitting here s—”
“What else do you expect me to do when you don't even want to acknowledge my presence in the room?”
“What do—”
“Okay you know what,” Y/n had to address the elephant in the room, or else they'd be going back and forth the whole day. “I know I fucked up, okay? And I guess you must hate working with me now, but can we just forget about it and act like nothing happened? I swear I won't do anything weird.”
“Wait a minute, back up;” Chan’s face flushed. “Can you tell me exactly what you're talking about? Did… did something happen last night?”
“What the hell, man” Y/n wished the ground would swallow her at this point. “You want me to say it aloud? Is this your way of making me more embarrassed than I already am?”
“No, I—”
“I confessed, okay? I said it.” She blurted. “And now you're uncomfortable, I understand, but please try to—”
“You confessed… to me?”
“Are you dumb? Of course, Christopher, who else?”
“Wait but,” He didn't know what to feel, happy or distressed. “What about Hyunjin?”
“Hyunjin? What about him? I—” Y/n was confused, but then her eyes opened wide in realization as she covered her mouth in shock.
“Oh my God, are you with Hyunjin?! Shut up, I'm so sorry! He did tell me he was with someone but I never thought… Oh my God, Chris, I never meant to—”
“What the actual fuck? No?!” Christopher stopped her, unable to hear her talk about this for another moment. “I'm not with Hyunjin, okay? We're literally like brothers. And why aren't you mad… aren't you dating Hyunjin?”
“Me… and Hyunjin? Ew, no!” Y/n looked like she was about to throw up. “He literally is my brother. Well, my cousin, but still. What the hell, what made you think we were together?”
“Hold up, you guys are cousins?”
“Well, yeah. I mean we didn't want to be public about it because people may think I got the job only because of him. Honestly I thought he told you guys, but it may have slipped his mind.
"And I didn't think it was my place to tell you guys, so I guess its kind of like a secret?” She scratched her head. “But what made you think we were together?”
“Well,” It was Bang Chan’s turn to be embarrassed now. “Last night I saw him give you a present and you both went together to—”
“Don't even finish that sentence.” She made a mental note to have a talk with Hyunjin and the members and finally tell them about their relationship, otherwise she was going to loose her mind. “It's Ye-ji’s birthday today, remember? Since the three of us are close, Hyunjin and I had planned a little something for her to wish her at midnight. So the present you saw was for Ye-ji, not me.”
“Oh.” The silence that followed was the most awkward moment of Chris’ life.
After what felt like eternity, it felt like the ice had finally been broken has they broke out into unfiltered laughter once they met each other's eyes.
“Wait,” Y/n smirked. “Does that mean you were jealous, Chris?”
“Whatever,” Chris gave her an endearing smile, the same one from last night. “I was okay? I was jealous, and I'd never felt anything like that before. I just didn't want to put either of you in a difficult position, which now I realize was a pretty stupid move from my side because I guess I could've simply just asked either one of you.” Both of them chuckled.
Chris gently took y/n’s hands in his as he continued.
“So, I tried to distance myself from you. But I realized, I just couldn't. We're a great team, and I think it's because we truly understand and know each other, which is a surprise, because I've never felt like this about anything or anyone in a long time.
“And not only that, you're one of the most talented and amazing people I've had the honour of knowing. Unfortunately, I do not remember what you said last night, so, I'm going to shoot my shot and hope i don't make a fool of myself.
"I think I'm in love with you, Y/n. It may be a risk, but you're a risk I'm willing to take. So I want to ask you, y/n, would you please—”
Before he could finish, Y/n, misty-eyed and overjoyed, reached forward to kiss him, and she felt relieved when she felt him smile against her.
“I guess that's a yes?” Breathlessly, Chris smiled.
“Yes, yes, yes… A thousand times yes, Christopher Bang!” Y/n laughed. “I think I'm in love with you, too. You—”
The two of them jumped in their seats as they heard something fall. As they turned their heads, they saw Changbin and Jisung standing near the door, looking at everything but them.
“Oh, hey, guys, didn't notice you there!” Jisung said in an extremely high-pitched voice. “How are you?”
Changbin, the voice of reason for once, smiled knowing. “We were going to say that we're sorry we're late, but I guess you did not really feel our absence.”
Chris knew that smirk— it was that of him winning a bet. “We can complete this song another day if you want.” Changbin said, smacking Jisung on the head for acting so dumb.
“It's okay guys,” Y/n wanted to die. She knew she was never going to live this down. “We were just waiting for you—”
“No, you know what, thanks, Binnie.” Chris held y/n’s hand with a smirk as they stood up and walked towards the door. Chris knew they were not going to live this down anyway, so he might as well take this opportunity. “We'll let you know when we'll be free. Don't call us!”
As Chris and y/n walked out of the room in a fit of laughter, they heard Changbin laugh just as loud.
“Sweet!” Changbin cackled. “I’m gonna be 50 dollars richer!”

Chan can imagine him: sprawled out on the bed, head thrown back, long hair messy against the pillow, eyes half-closed and tear-filled, cheeks and ears flushed, fists gripping the sheets desperately.
He can’t see him, though.
He can hear his sobs, his voice muffled —probably by Jeongin’s hand— his sounds no longer hoarse as they were at first but higher-pitched and whimpery.
He can hear the sound of their bodies slapping together and Felix’s pleas to slow down or go faster, harder. He’s always so indecisive, his baby.
His loud moans are always so difficult for him to hold back —and he’s always so cute trying; tiny hands rushing to cover his mouth, teeth biting his shirt, or his face buried into the pillow—, and everyone in the house can always hear them. Not that they have any complaints.
Like Chan, Minho, and Jisung at the moment, sitting on the couch; the only others in the apartment besides the other two.
They were supposed to be working on a song's lyrics, but it became quite difficult once Felix’s high cries started echoing.
Minho and Jisung made excuses to leave, coming up with something about needing to go shopping because some things are missing at home —nonsense, Seungmin went grocery shopping two days ago. Chan knows full well that they’re just turned on and need to help each other out.
He stays there, seated in front of the coffee table with all the sheets still scattered around, painfully hard in his pants the entire time, until the sounds come to an end, and then Chan has to go, too.
He’s so aroused from hearing all those pretty sounds from the blond and really needs to fuck him, making him go dumb until his brain can’t think about anything but the man on top of him and the only word falling from his lips is Chan’s name.
But he’s just been fucked, and Chan would feel so guilty for having his turn right after. The little one would be so tired.
But what’s to stop him the next day, seeing Jeongin so touchy with Felix?
Chan isn’t the jealous type, and he could never be jealous of Jeongin —besides, Felix isn’t just his, but everyone’s.
But something clicked in him seeing how Jeongin spent all practice sticking as close as possible to Felix: how he hugged him from behind in front of the mirror during the break, how his arm rested on Felix’s shoulders while Minho explained a dance move, or how the blond’s head leaned on the younger’s chest on the couch while the latter had an arm around his waist.
Chan isn’t the jealous type; it’s just that he feels the need to mark him as his, to show the others who he truly belongs to.
Nothing stops him from holding Felix back a little longer in the practice room while everyone else leaves.
Chan’s eyes fixate on the point where Jeongin’s lips meet Felix’s before they part, and Hyunjin seems to be observing the same thing —oh, Jeongin is fucked, literally.
Once everyone is out and the door closes, Felix turns to Chan, who is apparently sorting some papers, “What’s up?”
“I heard you and Jeongin yesterday, while Minho, Jisung, and I were trying to work on the song.” He says directly, and he can feel Felix’s eyes widen, even if he can’t see him.
“U-uh, I’m sorry,” the younger fidgets with his fingers. “I couldn’t keep my voice down.” He says in a lower tone, embarrassed and guilty for having disturbed them.
Chan turns in his direction, and when he sees the blond, his eyes seem to darken. He steps closer, “You know, we couldn’t get anything done yesterday, because of the noises.”
Felix is about to apologize again, but he’s interrupted, “You got me so hard I couldn’t concentrate anymore.”
These words go straight to the younger’s cock, which twitches with pride at knowing he had aroused Chan.
Chan stops in front of him and threads a hand through his hair, “You need someone to remind you how to behave.” He grabs the long blond strands and pulls his head back.
Felix lets out a moan at the sudden action.
“Slut.” Chan comments harshly, pulling the younger’s face closer to his by his hair.
He notices Felix’s eyes flick nervously to the door for a moment. Chan softens his voice just for a second, “None of the staff will come in for another 30 minutes,” he whispers. “Now get on your knees.” He releases his hair, and Felix drops to his knees.
As he realizes he’s semi-hard in his pants, he hears the metallic sound of a belt unbuckling and a zipper being pulled down.
Chan lowers his pants just enough to pull out his cock, already starting to harden. He holds it in his hand and rubs the tip against Felix’s lips, who looks up at him and sticks out his tongue, just like he was taught.
Chan rests the tip on his tongue and moves his hips back and forth for a few seconds, rubbing himself against the wet muscle. Felix feels so helpless and unwanted, the need to be used growing inside him.
When he pulls back, Felix lets out a whine, “I want to suck your cock, please. Let me put it in my mouth, I’ll make you feel so good-” Felix knows how much Chan likes it when he begs, but he gasps in surprise when his cock slaps his cheek.
“I don’t want to hear any whining out of your mouth, understood?” Another slap, and this time his own cock responds, leaking a bead of precum in his boxers, which now feel so tight.
“Sorry.” Felix apologizes so sweetly that Chan’s eyes soften slightly.
“Spit.” Chan orders, and Felix obediently lets some saliva slip from his lips onto Chan’s cock, which he starts stroking slowly to harden.
Felix looks at him with eyes full of lust, making it impossible for the older man to resist pushing two fingers into his mouth, pressing down on his tongue, going deep enough to reach the knuckles. And Felix doesn’t gag around them, just like a good boy.
Chan’s cock twitches in his hand, and his grip tightens, the sight drawing a moan from his lips.
Felix instinctively moves his head back and forth on the fingers, sucking and swirling his tongue around them, not caring about the saliva dripping down his chin. Because he loves it just like this —wet and messy. This goes on until the  man withdraws his fingers and brings the tip back to his lips, and Felix opens his mouth with his tongue out, eager to have it down his throat but remaining still and patient.
“Fuck my throat?” he asks in such an innocent tone that Chan wonders if it’s possible to sound like that in this situation.
“Oh, I will.” Chan assures before pushing past his lips.
A trembling breath leaves his lips at the feeling of his warm, wet mouth, and he groans as he manages to push it all the way down his throat without any gag reflex.
“Such a good boy, just like we taught you.” Chan praises, stroking his cheek, and Felix leans into his touch.
Felix’s hands are resting on his thighs, itching to touch the older man, but he keeps them in place as he knows he should while Chan begins moving without giving him much time to adjust.
His hips move back and forth slowly, and the wet squelching sounds that the action creates are the only noises filling the silence in the room. Chan moans, tangling his fingers in Felix’s hair and picking up the pace.
Saliva drips from Felix’s mouth down his chin, landing on his pants. Felix moans around his cock, squeezing his legs together as the vibrations from his voice draw a soft whimper from Chan. Felix’s eyes are teary, and he can feel snot ready to drip from his nose.
Felix lets his jaw go slack.
“G-good boy,” Chan finally looks at him. When Felix raises his eyes to meet his, the sight makes Chan groan and thrust harder. “You love having your mouth filled, don’t you, baby?” Chan coos the last words, “Look at you, crying on daddy’s cock. That’s what you get for not keeping quiet.” Felix digs his nails into his thighs through his pants. He knows he must look like a mess right now, but he only cares about pleasing the man in front of him, so much so that he forgets about his own aching erection, trapped in his boxers.
His hands move to the waistband of his pants, ready to pull them down and free his hard cock, but Chan notices and presses a foot over his hands before he can. Felix looks up at him with a pleading expression and whimpers. He feels Chan’s movements slow down.
“Who gave you permission to touch yourself?” His hips stop completely, his cock resting in the warm comfort of the younger one’s mouth.
Felix tries to say something, but his voice is muffled by the cock in his mouth. Chan pulls out to let him speak, trying —and failing— to hide a whimper that Felix hears clearly.
Felix tries to swallow his saliva a couple of times, failing. “I-I wasn’t t-trying to touch myself,” he insists, his voice coming out hoarse. Chan raises an eyebrow, his fingers still threaded through Felix’s blond locks. “I just wanted to p-pull my pants down ‘cause they’re uncomfortable.”
Under Chan’s gaze, Felix feels so small and guilty.
Chan sighs in feigned exasperation. “You can’t even finish one job without needing attention, can you? Such a greedy boy.”
Felix opens his mouth to object, but he doesn’t get the chance to speak as Chan interrupts, “Stand up and strip.”
Felix stands up, hesitates for a moment, but then lowers his pants and places them on a chair, remaining in his boxers and t-shirt.
Chan steps closer to him, lifts his shirt above his chest, and licks a line of skin from his nipple to the waistband of his boxers. Felix’s breathing grows heavier as he feels Chan slowly lick along his inner thigh, lifting the fabric of his boxers to get even closer to his groin, teasing him.
He leaves wet kisses and bites on his thigh, slowly moving behind him, where he lowers his underwear, revealing his ass and a little surprise that makes Chan’s breath hitch.
His mouth trails distractedly up the blond’s back as he straightens. His hands roam over Felix’s hips before moving to his naked ass, where he runs two fingers over the toy nestled between his cheeks.
“And what would this be, hm?” Chan takes it in his hand and begins to move it back and forth slowly, making Felix gasp.
“J-Jeongin made me put it in.”
Chan thrusts it in harder, making Felix moan and bite his lower lip.
“And you immediately obeyed that request. What a filthy boy you are. You love the idea of having your hole full in front of all of us without anyone knowing, don’t you? Acting all innocent around us while hiding such a dirty secret.”
Felix’s breath catches. His mind focuses on the movement of the plug going in and out of him and on Chan’s hand gripping his hip tightly. His eyes look ahead, but he doesn’t really pay attention to the mirror reflecting them.
The plug is suddenly pulled out, making him whine, but is immediately replaced by Chan’s hard cock.
Felix yelps in surprise, and Chan’s hand moves to cover his mouth. His eyes fill with tears again as he whimpers into the hand.
“We have to be quiet. We don’t want to be heard, do we?”
Felix nods obediently, but his untouched cock twitches at the thought that someone might have heard, and Chan notices. “But you’d like that, wouldn’t you, hm?” He starts moving his hips back and forth without giving Felix time to adjust —not that he particularly needs it. “You’d like it if someone walked in on us right now, wouldn’t you? You’d want them to see your fucked-up face from daddy’s cock, huh?”
Felix moans as Chan removes his hand, “Y-yes, daddy.”
“Look at yourself,” Chan says, lifting Felix’s face with a hand to make him look at his own reflection in the mirrored wall, “Look at the slut you’ve become for me. Following orders just like a little puppy, always ready to spread your legs at any moment.”
Both of Chan’s hands grip his hips, holding him steady, and Felix is forced to bend over with his hands on the mirror for balance.
“Letting yourself get fucked even in the practice room,” Chan groans, “Aren’t you ashamed of yourself?” His voice comes out more affected than he’d prefer, hips faltering for a moment.
Felix’s hands and breath fog up the mirror, his face pressed against the surface as his legs tremble with each strong thrust.
He sobs as Chan hits his prostate and whimpers when Chan’s hand smacks his ass hard. His cock leaks precum onto the floor, and Chan needs every ounce of self-control to stop himself from dropping to his knees and licking up every single drop.
“C-Chris, go f-faster, please.” Felix feels like he might cry if Chan doesn’t pick up the pace, struggling to keep his voice down.
“Finally learning to keep your voice down, huh? Good boy.”
Felix’s stomach does a backflip at the praise after all the degradation —not that he minded it at all.
Felix’s legs feel like they might give out at any moment, and Chan notices. His eyes fill with adoration.
“Hold onto me.” Felix doesn’t understand at first, but when he does, he reaches back and grabs onto the older man’s muscular shoulders.
Chan’s hands slip behind Felix’s thighs, gripping them harshly and lifting his legs, bringing Felix’s knees to his chest. Felix moans in surprise and clings to him even tighter.
“Better.” Chan groans and starts moving again, the sweet sounds from Felix’s lips returning as his face twists in a giddy expression, biting his lower lip to stifle the sounds.
For his own amusement, Chan spreads his legs wider. “Look at yourself,” he demands. Felix opens his half-closed eyes to gaze at his reflection in the mirror, but he immediately regrets it as shame washes all over him.
His ears turn even redder, and he tries to ignore the way his stomach tightens deliciously at the sight.
His legs shake with each thrust, and his eyes well with tears, but he can’t tear them away from the pornographic reflection in front of him.
“C-Chan, it’s- it’s embarrassing…” Felix whines.
“But you love it.” Felix quickly shakes his head at the words, sobbing at a particularly hard thrust that hits his prostate. “And yet you keep watching yourself. Look at you, crying on my cock. You’re just so easy to handle.”
Felix doesn’t respond. His eyes are fixed on the way the older man’s fingers press into his thighs. He bites his lower lip, hoping they’ll leave little marks so he can remember this. Not that he’ll forget anyway.
Chan breathes against his shoulder, his soft moans reaching Felix’s ears. Now that Felix notices, Chan seems more affected than he did just before.
The older man has a focused expression, panting as his eyes are glued to the way his own cock thrusts in and out the younger’s stretched hole, the latter’s cock bouncing with each movement.
“Your tight little hole feels so good.” He starts leaving open-mouthed kisses on the other’s neck, “How does daddy’s dick feel? Huh?”
“G-good, feels so good.” Finally, tears start to roll down his cheeks, his mind clouded with pleasure and his body trembling.
“Aw, baby, let go,” Chan breathes, “C-cry for me.” Chan’s cock twitches inside Felix, dribbles of cum leaking from it’s red tip, and Felix sniffles.
“I-I’m close,” he cries, “P-please, I’m gonna cum.” His voice turns urgent and desperate.
Suddenly, Chan brings him back down to the floor, making Felix gasp. He would have fallen if Chan’s strong hands weren’t holding him.
“Oh my god.” Felix moans, his voice high-pitched and eyes rolling back.
Chan guides Felix’s hips, making him thrust back onto his cock, fast and hard, driving him closer to his high. But he won’t give it to him so easily.
Felix closes his eyes, his hands fogging up the mirror. He almost feels sorry for whoever will have to clean it later. “‘M so close, please.”
“Almost.”
Felix cries out, hands reaching for something to grip that isn’t there. He tries moving his hips on his own, trying to get some kind of control.
“Please, Channie, please! Let me cum, please.”
“Hold it.” Chan orders him, choking out a moan from Felix.
“I c-can’t, I need to cum so bad, please, I-I can’t hold it.” Felix pleads, desperate for release.
“Who do you belong to?” Chan asks suddenly. It’s not a question he feels the need to have the expected answer to, but it’s always fun to tease the younger one a little.
“You,” Felix’s voice is shaky as he tries his best to obey and hold it, “Y-you, all yours, b-belong to you!” He says maybe a bit too loudly, but who is he to care at this moment, when all he can think about is the orgasm that’s about to overtake him?
“Is that so?” The sound of skin slapping against skin is louder in the room now, and Chan’s voice tries to remain steady but fails, revealing just how affected he really is.
“Yes! Yes!” Felix cries, his high dangerously close and probably now out of his control.
“Good.” Felix takes this as permission, and immediately he’s shaking and squirming in Chan’s hands, who follows right after, buried deep inside him, as Felix’s cum spurts onto the floor and partly onto the mirror.
They are panting as they come down from their highs, trying to regulate their breaths.
“Still with me?” Chan checks, still holding him by the hips to prevent him from falling to the floor, leaning forward to see his face, which is turned down with his head resting against the surface of the mirror.
“Mhm.” Felix whimpers softly with a heavy breath.
Chan is grateful to always have baby wipes on hand in his bag —as he says, ‘you never know’, and this situation is a perfect example— because it takes him hardly any time to clean them both up, and he even wipes the floor while Felix sits on a chair, despite having insisted on cleaning up his mess himself.
“All done,” Chan says as he stands back up and goes to Felix to toss the dirty wipes in the bin beside him. “The staff will be here shortly, we need to go.”
Felix nods, but before getting up, he pouts his lips, seeking a kiss, which Chan gives him only after imprinting a picture of his cute face looking up at him with big eyes into his mind.
The older man smiles into the kiss, and when Felix feels it, he smiles back, and they both chuckle with their lips still connected.
The younger wraps his arms around Chan’s neck, not wanting to let go and wanting to stay like this even for hours, with his lips against Chan’s soft ones. But they can’t, not right now.
“We’ll cuddle when we get back to the dorms, okay?” Chan promises him.
“No, I want cuddles now.” Felix shows no intention of letting go; in fact, he clings to him even more, burying his face in Chan’s shoulder.
Chan sighs with an affectionate smile and wraps his arms around him in a tight but gentle hold. He lifts Felix up, and Felix wraps his legs around his waist.
Chan grabs his bag and walks toward the exit. “I guess we’ll have to go out like this.”
“At least the others will understand to whom I belong.” Felix teases him with a smirk.
Chan’s ears turn red, and he slaps his butt in admonishment, “Brat.”

So...poly now ey??
Ngl, I need more about how han's dick almost got destroyed 🤧 I prolly feel like he was into it tho?? Like "just to make you feel good bby"
We need to see what happens when Chan gets back to the dorm thoooo, mating press definitely looks like his style tho too
gasp! reverse cowgirl boys - lino and maybe i.n??? They def wanna see it jiggle 😔 ooh! Changbin finna put you in the air and do it (he's got the muscle dw) hyunjin def needs to see your pretty face when he's fucking you in front of the mirror...
Ps. I think it's nice of you to do drabbles when the ideas come rather than stressing over full length fics. Anything goes!
- 🥞
For anyone reading this who is not 🥞anon, we're talking about this drabble.
Thank you for such a lovely message, 🥞 anon 🥰 sorry it's taken me over a month to reply. So, I thought I should try and write a good one at least...
Much like how I am OT8 (shut up Chan), I am a firm advocate of poly!skz. Especially when I'm ovulating.
I think Channie may have actually trademarked the mating press 💁‍♀️ as soon as I'd written that for Seungmin, my brain immediately went: but that's Chan's position.
And then I left it in anyway, because I figured that's exactly the sort of shit Seungmin would pull- using Chan's favourite move when the old man has to go on the condom run. He's such a little shit, I love him.
I think he was also proving a point of some kind- he's usually a lot more private when it comes to sex -even when you're ovulating and feral for it- so why he decided to take you in Chan's favourite position, right in front of his salad, is an unexplained mystery. I bet the reason is petty though.
As for what happened to that time y/n nearly broke Hannie's dick... Let's just say there was some very enthusiastic bouncing happening. Y/n did offer to kiss it better, but somehow Han ended up being the one on his knees. His dick might be bruised, but his tongue still works just fine.
Oh, and you're right- Han was into it. A little pain is good for you. If you haven't read mine-and-lollipop anon's ballbusting Han posts, they can be found here and here. Excellent reading.
Minho does not spend all that time butthunting not to look at your ass while he's fucking you. So yeah, reverse cowgirl is a favourite for sure. I don't think he's into doggy so much as he's a cat, not a dog, and also it can be quite hard on the knees. He needs those for dancing, and there are other positions he can dick you down in.
I.N definitely enjoys all versions of cowgirl- ass, tits, tummy- as long as he can see something bouncing he's a happy boy. I like to think about the times he goes feral and territorial though, when he's sick of being teased by the hyungs and decides to channel that frustration into fucking you dumb. Oh, and marking you up so that all the others have to look at his marks on your skin when they're touching you.
Changbin is such a soft boy. I read somewhere that he got so buff because he's allergic to a lot of things, and scared of more things like that, so he made himself big and strong because of that. Thank fuck for those allergies, because yeah, those muscles definitely come in handy in the bedroom. And the shower. And the living room. And everywhere else.
Hyunjin was made for mirror sex. In any position. As long as he can see your face, how he's making you feel, he's a happy boy. Definitely the type to have a mirror on the ceiling as well. I think he's really into missionary too- the intimacy of all that body contact, the eye contact. The way he can kiss you and hold your hands? Yeah. Mirrors and missionary. #justhyunjinthings
And Felix? Felix is the one who cockwarms you while you sleep. I guess you're technically cockwarming him, but meh whatever you understand what I mean. Ovulation sex with Felix is practically aftercare in itself. He's the one gently fucking you when you're too sore to take a proper pounding but still needy and desperate, the one who fucks you to sleep when you can't bear to be empty.

“You’re weak,” he laughed at me.
When I was in fourth grade, I had gotten the shit beaten out of me when I stood up for my older sister. This guy in her grade was constantly berating her, picking on her, making her feel less than. One time too many she had come home crying and I decided enough was enough.
It didn’t go as planned, of course. He was two years older than me, and so I wasn’t able to stand up for her the way I had wanted to. I had gotten pulverized, more or less, but the relentless torment of my sister had stopped. Mission success?
The night I had gotten beaten up, my sister tended to my wounds in our family bathroom. “Stupid,” she had scolded as she wiped blood from my upper lip. “You should know better. I never want you to get hurt again.”
“Don’t tell Ma,” I had pleaded. Our mother would be sick out of her mind with worry if she saw me covered in blood and bruises.
Our mother was a headstrong, independent woman that had raised us well. Our father had taken off when I was just a baby and I was still too young to remember him, but his existence continued to sour the taste in our mouths to this very day. Since then, our mother had been a provider, working day and night in order to give us everything that we needed. She was overworked, anybody could see that much, but she wanted to make sure she gave her children a long and healthy life.
It was that night that I had vowed that I would become stronger. For her. For my sister. For our family. I would work hard and make sure that I would never get hurt again, but that I was strong and that I could protect my family.
I went out looking for work the very next day. Believe it or not, nobody really looks to hire you if you’re in the fourth grade. But try as I might, I went to every business in town and begged them to hire me. I was persistent, in fact.
“Why would we hire ya, kid?” one older man had spit at me. “With arms like yours, ya would only be a burden. You can’t lug around a potato if you tried.” I was ridiculed for even trying. But try as I might, day in and day out I would show up every morning begging for work, rain or shine.
One day, my luck had finally passed. I guess it was their busy season or something, because when I showed up to his shop at opening I was immediately thrust into work. It was all physical labor and sure, he was right about me not having the strength or stamina yet to truly be of help. But, I had the determination and perseverance. I never complained once, and though I was slower than some of his other workers, he gave me another chance the next day when I came back.
And so, that’s how I acquired my first job. And though my body wasn’t fully equipped for it yet, it certainly became equipped over time. Though I was small, my body started bulking up and giving me the strength to lift hundreds of pounds of materials each and every day.
By the time I reached high school age, I was working 60 hours a week and bringing home hundreds of dollars in cash. My Ma always made it a big thing when I tried to give her the money; I never kept any of it for myself. But I needed her to know I had it handled. If it were up to me, she would never have to work another day of her life and I would provide for us and we would live happily ever after.
It wasn’t long before I got greedy. People wanted me for my strength, after all. But once I found out that underground fighting was a thing… It was almost like I had forgotten about my vow years ago to never let Ma see me get hurt, to never have my sister have to patch me up again. I was leagues above the others, with my physique that I had spent years skillfully crafting. I never told my family the nature behind my new job, but all it entailed was me beating the crap out of other people. And people always bet on me, and they would always win of course. My technique was a little rusty at first but what I lacked in skill I more than made up for in strength. And when I wasn’t fighting and bringing home money, I was in the gym training.
It wasn’t enough. Just a little more. Once I was stronger, I’d be able to protect them.
Never mind the fact that I didn’t get to see much of my Ma or sister anymore, as I was always in the ring or in the gym. All that mattered was that I was powerful. That I had something to show for it.
One day when I showed up to the ring, there was a large crowd and a lot of murmurs that I had never heard before. A new opponent? Nobody had dared to challenge me in eons. But here he was… a man that had a few inches on me in height, but definitely not in raw strength. They called him Chan? I had never heard that name before, so he must be new.
One thing’s for sure, and that I was confident that this was a fight I could win.
“Changbin, right? Why don’t we turn this into a bet?” He had asked me.
I scoffed in his face. “Don’t make me laugh,” I told him. “You’re going to lose enough already, no? Do we really need to bring down your pride, your ego and whatever cash you have in your pocket? Let me do you a favor and spare you here and now.”
The man only grinned in return. I could tell he was cocky and that only pissed me off. My adrenaline was already ready to go.
“How about this. If I win, you’ll consider joining me and my team,” he had said.
“Your team… Yeah, sure buddy. Whatever you say. What about when I win?”
“If you win, Changbin, I’ll give you 10,000 dollars in cash.” My face blanched and my blood ran cold. He couldn’t be serious. He was that confident in himself?
“You’re on, man. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.” We stepped into the ring and I cracked my jaw and knuckles in anticipation. I barely noticed the crowd getting larger and larger around us as we prepared.
The makeshift ref blew their whistle and counted us down. “3… 2… 1… Go!” And we were off. I was in my element, of course. Years of training would finally pay off, I thought to myself.
I barely had time to register how fast he was when the whistle blew. In half a second, he was across the ring and in front of my face. I blinked and saw a fist swinging for my face but had just enough time to duck, meeting his jaw with an uppercut. He took it like a champ, of course. Never had I seen someone that wasn’t instantly knocked out by the force of one of my uppercuts. I would usually save that for a finishing move, but today there was something on the line.
He stepped back, his hand cradling his jaw for a second as he took me in. He smiled at me. Usually by now, once my opponent is humbled they would make a last-ditch effort to swing and swing, getting messy in an attempt to stake their claim and win. I saw none of that with Chan. His eyes were sharp, calculating, and for a second I almost felt like prey.
“You’re strong,” he noted. “That’s why I want you.”
“You and everyone else,” I told him. “Tell me something I don’t know.”
I lunged forward, aiming for his stomach but I’m met with air. He dodged my blow? Stumbling forward, I wasn’t expecting to be swept off my feet. I didn’t even see him move! How could he have knocked me off balance that easily?
Squinting, I saw the flash of his shadow moving. He jumped, making to tackle me to the ground but I read him too quickly. I rolled to my side, noticing when he made contact with the ground instead of my frame. ‘Two can play that game,’ I had thought.
I’m on my feet in an instant, taking a defensive stance.
“You’re loyal to a fault,” he said. “A family man. You’re protective, a caregiver. You want to be able to provide.”
“How do you know all this?” I panted. I hadn’t had a fight in the ring this long in years.
“I make it my business to know things,” he provided unhelpfully. “The top fighter in the city? Definitely my business.” I rolled my eyes at that.
He moved forward and lunged with a right swing which I dodged with an arm. I reached to grab him but failed and instead was met with a blow right to my stomach that I had left unprotected. Holy shit. What muscle was this guy hiding? I coughed and sputtered and barely registered the sound of the crowd coming to a roar.
He lifted up his leg as if to kick me and I was thrown into yet another defensive attack, throwing my arms up. I instinctively swung back but he wasn’t there–he had used the momentum from his kick to crouch to the ground, springing up to land an uppercut straight to my nose. I heard a loud crack before everything went dark.
Chan later told me that I had been unconscious for about an hour. When I woke up, the crowd had dispersed and my coach was yelling at me about all the money I had lost him. Chan, in all his glory, had stayed until I was conscious again.
I groaned.
“So about my team,” he said, cracking a grin. “You want to be strong? You want to know how to protect your family, how to protect your mother and sister that you care so much about? There are things they need protecting from that you don’t even know about yet. They’ll be safe if you join SKZ, but if you don’t… bad things will happen to them. Let me tell you about it. Join me for a walk.”

injury ( seo changbin )
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
changbin x male!reader
changbin finds out his boyfriend was injured at a volleyball game.
content : 1.8k words, angst & fluff, idol!bin x athlete!reader, mentions injuries/hospitalization, crying
Tumblr media
changbin patted his face down with a towel, panting lightly as he got up from his short rest on the cold studio floor. the other members were also taking a minute to relax before continuing with the dance practice for their highly anticipated comeback.
after changbin went over to his water bottle and took a sip, the group's manager busted through the door in hectic worry. everyone looked at the man in confusion, but his own eyes traveled the room in search of only one member. when he finally found changbin, he hurried over to him.
"is everything okay?"
"what's going on?"
their manager was more focused on changbin than the others' questions, which only worried changbin further.
"you didn't hear, i'm assuming?" their manager asked. changbin looked at him with furrowed brows, his gaze moving from the man in front of him to his friends around the room.
"hear about what..?" he responded.
"ah.. um, y/n got hurt at his volleyball game.."
changbin's chest tightened. fear began coursing through his body as the others gathered closer to the two of them.
"what?? is he okay? what happened?" changbin asked frantically. the other shook his head.
"i'm not sure what exactly happened. they were broadcasting the game and i just know he got hurt and he's been taken to a hospital."
"holy shit.." changbin took a second to process the information before hurrying to get his things. "i have to go see him.. um, where-"
"i'll text you the details about where they took him, go go!" their manager assured as he whipped out his phone. changbin smiled thankfully and rushed to throw his bag over his shoulder.
"i'll come with you!" chan cut in, going to get his own things to join his friend.
"keep us updated, please!" felix shouted after the two as they departed from the studio. changbin's mind was completely out of it, but chan made sure to give the members a confident nod.
changbin, with slightly shaking hands, pulled his phone out and went to call his partner as fast as he could. with the phone then pressed to his ear, chan led him outside to a car.
"fuck, he's not answering.." he mumbled as tears pricked at his eyes.
"they're probably just taking care of him at the hospital and he can't get to his phone right now. i'm sure he's fine, changbin, really," chan comforted, now rubbing his back. changbin nodded quickly.
"yeah, that's possible.." he trailed off. chan could tell from his face that all the worst possible scenarios were filling his head.
"hey, come on. let's go find him.. everything's gonna be fine," chan assured him as they finally got settled into the car.
while chan drove, changbin constantly checked his phone for something from his boyfriend. receiving nothing, light tears began leaving his eyes while he quickly swiped them away with his jacket sleeve.
"i feel so stupid.." he muttered, looking down at his phone in his hands. chan's head snapped over to look at him, going between the male and the road.
"what, why??"
changbin sighed as he wiped another tear the second it started trailing down his cheek.
"he's gotta be okay, right? game injuries happen.. so why am i getting this worked up.."
"the only thing you should feel stupid for is thinking you're stupid," chan stated. changbin looked over at him now.
"huh?"
"he's your boyfriend. your very longtime boyfriend, at that. it's okay and normal to be worried or cry over something like this," the older explained. changbin raked a hand through his hair and nodded.
"i guess so.. thanks."
before chan could say anything else, changbin's phone finally rang with the call he'd been waiting for. he quickly tapped the green pick up button and pressed the device to his ear.
"y/n?!"
"hi, babe.."
changbin's heart sank at the tiredness in his voice. at the moment, all he was worried about was y/n, but he knew one of y/n's biggest worries right now was probably his career. a bad injury that caused lasting effects could ruin things.
"are you alright?? we're on the way now, i'll be there soon."
"i'm alright, bin. i actually didn't think you knew yet so i was calling to tell you. i thought you couldn't watch the game this time because of your schedule with stray kids?"
"ah, no, i couldn't watch. we were practicing for the comeback but our manager found out and told me."
"ohh, okay. well, i'm okay for the most part."
"for the most part?"
"well.. i dunno, i think it might be serious but the doctors are still confirming."
"ah.. i'm sorry, babe. we'll be there in like twenty-ish minutes, okay?"
"okay, i love you."
"i love you too, so much."
changbin sighed as his phone left his ear and they ended the call.
"he's okay?" chan asked.
"i think so.. he said the injury might be serious. i know he's worried about volleyball more than anything right now," he answered dejectedly.
"hopefully it's not as bad as he thinks," chan encouraged. changbin nodded at this before looking out of the window.
the rest of the ride was silent with the exception of the radio playing softly. once the two arrived, changbin was quick to hurry inside and find his boyfriend. chan followed suit, soon being directed to y/n's room.
changbin entered in a rush, seeing his partner laying exhausted in one of the hospital beds with his left leg elevated a bit. changbin felt tears threaten at his eyes again, but gave it no thought as he rushed to y/n's side.
"y/n," he called softly. a smile lifted on y/n's lips at the sight of his boyfriend. he felt changbin place kiss after kiss all over his face, laughing a bit at the received affection.
"bin, i'm alright, see?" y/n teased while changbin pulled away now, smiling at his positive attitude.
"i was really worried.."
y/n nodded at this and took changbin's hand, the latter sitting in the chair placed by his bed. y/n's sights drifted over to chan, who was simply standing behind changbin letting the two have their moment.
"you brought a stray kid! hi, channie," y/n greeted warmly. being changbin's boyfriend for almost four years now, he'd gotten very close to the other members as well.
"hi, y/n! i'm sorry about the injury.."
y/n gave him a soft smile in response before looking back at his boyfriend. changbin's eyes were gentle and sparkling with small tears, making y/n frown.
"no no, don't cry. i'm gonna be fine, baby," y/n assured, his grip on the other's hand tightening in attempts to comfort him. changbin only nodded. he knew y/n would be fine, and yet the tears seemed to keep coming.
"alright, mister l/n!" the three boys turned their attention to y/n's doctor as he came into the room.
"we have your diagnosis now.. i'm assuming because of all your experience in volleyball, you know about acl injuries?" he asked. y/n sighed and nodded.
"acl injuries?" changbin repeated.
"an anterior cruciate ligament injury, unfortunately that's what we're working with," the doctor replied regretfully. changbin's eyes moved from his boyfriend to the doctor, still a little confused. y/n chuckled at his clueless expression.
"it's okay, bin. do you mind explaining it to him?" he asked the doctor, who smiled and shook his head.
"not at all. essentially, it's a torn ligament in the knee. the acl is the tissue that connects the thighbone to the shinbone right at the knee. it's actually a pretty common injury among athletes," the doctor explained. changbin nodded.
"well, so.. does that mean it's easily treated? where do we need to go from here?" changbin questioned. the hope and determination in his tone made y/n smile.
"unfortunately, it's not something you just heal from like 'that'," he informed the other with a snap of his fingers. "y/n will need surgery and physical therapy afterwards. often times, this can take up to a year, so i'm sorry to say you won't be able to play volleyball or anything else for a good while."
y/n looked down and nodded. changbin's lips thinned into a line as his thoughts ran around his brain in chaos. he knew this was what y/n was afraid of.
"the good news is that you should recover just fine with the therapy, and eventually you'll be able to get back at it again," the doctor added.
changbin looked at y/n again, who just nodded and gave him a weak grin in response.
"i'll leave you alone to process things and be with your friends. i'll come back with a nurse to talk more later, okay?"
once the doctor left the room, y/n's tears hit. changbin's heart broke at the sight.
"y/n, i'm so sorry," he comforted as he got up to hug him. chan looked at his friend a bit awkwardly before sending him a smile and pointing to the door. changbin only nodded at this, watching chan slip out to leave the couple alone.
after some minutes of continuous tears, changbin pulled away to see y/n a little better. he moved y/n's hair away from his face and smiled.
"it's gonna be okay, babe."
y/n nodded and sniffled lightly, not letting go of his boyfriend's hand.
"i feel like i let my team down.." he mumbled.
"y/n, no. you got hurt, you didn't do anything wrong," changbin protested. when y/n didn't answer, changbin gently lifted his chin to make their eyes meet.
"you didn't do anything wrong," he repeated. y/n finally nodded before releasing another sigh.
"bin?"
"hm?"
"can you come up here?.." y/n asked as he patted the bed.
"ah.. i don't know if i should. even if there's room for me, i don't think you should be moving a lot," he replied in worry. y/n frowned and nodded, which only made changbin more sad.
"alright, alright. but be careful, please," he gave in. y/n smiled in triumph before cautiously moving over to make room for his partner.
once changbin settled in beside him, he wrapped his arms around y/n tightly. a warm feeling filled y/n's chest at the other's strong arms and the sound of his steady heartbeat, eventually drifting off to the sound like a lullaby.
"rest well, my love."

A brother?!
Pairing: Max Verstappen x PewDiePie!sibling Summary: What if Felix had a genius brother who works as a RedBull's engineer and is also secretly dating Max part 1 of A Calm to my Storm Masterlist
Felix's computer breaks during a live stream and he calls for help
The livestream was going well—at least, it had started out that way. Felix, aka PewDiePie, was doing a joint stream with Jacksepticeye, playing some ridiculous co-op game. But his computer, stubborn as ever, kept crashing mid-game. After several frustrated sighs, Felix turned to his chat, explaining that he was going to call someone to fix it.
"Ugh, sorry guys, I have no idea what’s going on," Felix muttered, scratching the back of his head. "I think my PC’s dying. Lemme call my brother, see if he can come over and help. He’s good with this stuff."
Jack, ever the jokester, feigning surprise knowing that nobody knew Felix had a brother, chimed in. “Wait, did you just say brother? You have a brother? I thought you had a sister!”
“Yeah, I do, Fenny - who everyone knows already,” Felix said casually, as if it wasn’t news to millions of fans. “and Sam. He’s a mechanical engineer, does some motorsport thingy. Pretty boring.”
The chat exploded instantly with questions and shocked reactions.
User1: "PEWDS HAS A BROTHER???"
User2: "WHO’S SAM??"
User3: "HOW DID WE NOT KNOW THIS???"
Felix hasn't even noticed the fan reaction, already dialling Sam’s number while Jack sat back in smug silence, watching the chat freak out. The call was short and sweet. "Hey, Sam? Yeah, my computer’s being stupid again. Can you come over real quick? Yeah, thanks."
Minutes passed, and Felix distractedly scrolled through his phone while Jack entertained the audience. Then, the doorbell rang.
"Hang on, that’s him," Felix said, disappearing from the screen for a second. When he returned, a tall figure followed him into the room.
The chat went absolutely wild.
Sam had black hair styled into an overgrown mullet that fell messily around his face, held back by a bandana. He was wearing a sleeveless shirt that showed off his toned, slightly muscular arms, which flexed every time he adjusted his grip on Felix’s computer. He didn’t say much, just nodded at Felix and got to work, crouching down in front of the PC, picking it up and on the table, pulling it apart like he had done it a hundred times before.
User4: "OMG WHO IS THIS????"
User5: "IS SAM SINGLE?????"
User6: "HELLO, SAM, NICE ARMS!"
User7: "THAT MULLET THO 😍😍"
Felix and Jack couldn’t help but chuckle at the exploding chat, but Felix remained focused on Sam.
"Need anything else?" Sam asked in a deep voice, standing up after fiddling with the computer for a few minutes. His arms were glistening slightly from the exertion as he dusted his hands off.
"No, that should do it. Thanks, man," Felix replied, glancing at his now-revived PC.
Sam turned to the screen, saw Jack and gave a polite nod. "Hi, Jack," he said casually, waving.
Jack waved back, a bit wide-eyed. "Hey, Sam. Thanks for saving the day, man."
With that, Sam left, exiting as mysteriously as he arrived. Felix settled back into his chair, fixing his headset. "Alright, let's see if this thing actually works now."
But before he could continue the stream, the chat was still going insane, demanding answers.
Felix sighed, glancing at Jack, who was grinning ear to ear. "Fine, fine," Felix said, leaning forward to read the chat. "Yes, that was my brother, Sam. No, I guess I never really mentioned him because, well, he’s busy. He’s, like, a mechanical engineer for some motorsports thingy as I already said. Pretty boring, if you ask me. And he's never home, basically."
Jack laughed. "Boring? Your chat seems to think otherwise."
User8: "HE'S HOT, FELIX."
User9: "DOES HE HAVE A GIRLFRIEND?"
User10: @User9 "BOYFRIEND???"
Felix raised an eyebrow, glancing at the chat. "Uh... I don’t know? I think he mentioned a girlfriend—or maybe a boyfriend? I’m not really sure. I haven’t met them yet."
Jack cackled, "The internet’s going to explode now."
Shrugging, Felix continued, "Anyway, back to the game. Can we focus on something other than Sam now?"

"Felix shouldn't be held to the same moral standards as the other characters in miraculous because he was afraid Gabriel was going to kill him, he was living in survival mode."
There is absolutely no canon evidence that Gabriel had any desire to hurt or murder Felix prior to the point Felix was introduced, and though he DID finally threaten Felix in S4, he did not follow through on that threat, even though Felix would continue to give him reasons to multiple times before Gabriel finally gave him the peacock miraculous.
Not to mention In the S3 episode Felix, it is Felix and Amelie that come to Gabriel and begin to antagonize him first— and in Felix's case, Adrien and his friends as well.
This makes Felix (and Amelie) the aggressors in that episode...not victims.
And if Amelie shared her son's belief that Gabriel was a danger to Felix, why why WHY would she feel the need to get in Gabriel's face and taunt him with his lowly peasant history, while simultaneously demanding back the rings that allegedly contain his sons literal life essence. One would think she— and Felix— would err more on the side of caution if this theory were true.
"Felix did what he had to to ensure safety for himself, Adrien, Kagami, and all other senti-beings."
So, right off the bat, I'll just say this: no.
The implication that he HAD to do everything he did is not true in the slightest, but other than that, nothing he did made Kagami and Adrien more safe and/or happier. The opposite, really.
Since no effort was made by Amelie or Felix to properly get Adrien away from Gabriel, that means that Adrien can and did suffer the consequences of Felix playing mind games with Gabriel, and Felix showed no concern or remorse for this whatsoever.
As for Kagami... I guess Felix has lost interest in helping her get away from her controlling mother?
And I've stated this next point a million times, but I always find it necessary to include regardless because of how often it's written off or ignored: Felix destoryed another senti-being after red moon. He knew he was going to destory it when he created it. He made it anyway. Not for any life or death situation, not because he had no other choice, not because he was trying to save someone— the play was pointless.
Afterwards, he did not mourn or cry for it the way he so dramatically did for his "sister"— nope, he went to make out with Kagami on the Eiffel Tower (by the way, I hope he doesn't consider all sentibeings to be his brothers and sisters, otherwise his relationship with Kagami just got a hell of a lot weirder).
"Felix had to steal the miraculous from Marinette and give them to Gabriel in exchange for the peacock, it was the only way he could feel safe again."
So, just to clarify....Felix thought Gabriel might use the Peacock miraculous to snap him out of existence...but he didn't think Gabriel would use the 16 different miraculous he just gave him to do the same thing? I don't think this has really occured to anyone yet, but I'm pretty sure if Gabriel wanted Felix (or any other sentimonster) dead he would not need the peacock miraculous, or honestly any miraculous, to do that.
And we know Felix didn't want the miraculous to prevent Gabriel from abusing it either, because as previously explained, Felix is willing to use abuse that power as well.
Finally one last thing I would like to mention... while Felix promised Gabriel the other miraculous, there was nothing stopping him from going back on that promise, was there? They made the exchange of the ring and the peacock before Felix stole the rest of the miraculous from Marinette to give to Gabriel. Gabriel would have been pissed, sure, but at least he had the ring, which he wanted back so badly that he was willing to surrender the peacock— so it's not like he would have walked away at a total loss.
But man, Felix sure did choose an interesting time to start being an honest person, huh? He even left the dog miraculous for good measure. He really gave Gabriel every single one as promised.
Anyway! To state the obvious! Adrien is still living with Gabriel when this happened!
For those of you still want to keep insisting that Felix gives a shit about his cousin in any sort of way. That's some real fucked up love if you ask me. :/

This was too much! Like way much more than you could handle! You didn't know if you felt was extreme pride for both your boyfriend's achievements and overall amazingness and the fact that he was, in fact, yours. Or the bitter feeling of jealousy, because your boyfriend basically stripped in front of thousands, no, millions of stays. There was no way in hell this clip wouldn't blow up the whole internet in minutes!
Being in a relationship with an idol sure came with a lot of challenges. You felt secure in your relationship, Felix, despite having millions of fans thirsting over him, never gave you any reason to doubt hiis love and sincerity. Sometimes the fact that Feliz had so many admirers made you feeel so much pride and boosted your confidence so much, the Lee Yongbok Felix, the man who could have literally anyone in the world, the man who had so many admirers chose you and stayed with you. The feeling was surely something else. You wondered what changed today. Was it because so many people saw him shirtless? The jealousy was gnawing you from the inside. Maybe it wasn't jealousy and rather than that you were feeling possessive. You didn't want to word this wrong, but you guessed that you considered Felix as yours, just as he perceived you as his, you were sure of it, you weren't really possessive and you would rather die than make Felix uncomfortable with an ugly feeling like that, it's just seeing that so many people saw him in different light you only had the pleasure of seeing really rubbed you the wrong way.
You kinda felt bad for feeling like this. Felix was the boyfriend one could only dream of. He only did his job as an idol and entertainer so why were you sulking like this? You knew that dating an idol was like. But for God's sake you were only human! Hearing other's thirsty comments made your blood boil. Others were trying to watch the show! You also almost had a cardiac arrest watching your boyfriend, but you still contained yourself (your panties were most likely(certainty) ruined)! You didn't make thirsty comments and disturbed others. Oh how you wished you could just walk up on the stage and really show them who Felix really belonged with. Oh to see the jealous looks on their faces, but no, you couldn't do it to Felix.
He told you that he was ready to tell the world about your relationship countless times but you knew it could affect him as an idol a lot so you told him that you knew he loved you and appreciated the gesture but he didn't need to do that. Also you were talking out of your butt as if you had any chance to go up on the stage with heavy security like this... You could still out your relationship! You just wouldn't do it to Felix. He didn't deserve to be in scandal because your pride was hurt.
Even after hours went by the bitter feeling didn't go away, and you were afraid Felix was starting to notice your absentmindedness. As you thought the internet was blown over it. Everyone kept gushing about Felix, and you felt both immense pride and bitterness.
Huffing out annoyed you got up from the bed to drink some water. You were in your hotel room with Felix. Others went in their own rooms to sleep. You were waiting for Felix to finish his shower. It was quite late, but you felt nowhere near sleepy.
You took a sip from your water and almost choked to death when you saw Felix emerge from the bathroom, towel hanging low on his lips. His waist and upper body glistening from the water, hair still damp and dripping. What was in the air tonight? This boy was going to be the death of you. He had to be crafted from the God's themselves because what the heck?! Most men you knew had either decent personality or decent looks and, in most cases, neither, and then you had this specimen. What the hell, how? He was also next to you softly patting your back the second you started choking on water. Like man pick a struggle it's unfair to be perfect in every way.
"Are you okay angel?" Felix asked with his deadly beautiful voice after you calmed down. You had to be thankful if you survived this day, or this boy generally.
"Yeah, I'm fine." It took you a few seconds but you managed to answer. God your heart was jumping out of your ribcage. Felix looked at you for a second then shook his head.
His warm hand engulfed yours, "You've barely spoken the whole night. Talk to me love, did something happen?" His thumb never stopped rubbing small circles on your hand. He always had such a calming effect on you and, usually, the second he touched you became so putty and melted like a puddle, but today it didn't seem to work. You were too on edge.
"Did I upset you with something?" Felix asked looking unsure yet remorseful, you felt guilty, too caught up with yourself you tuned out Felix, making him believe he was in the wrong. You straightened up and stood in front of him, his gaze carefully examining your every move. Normally, whenever he looked at you like that it made you shy away, but now you were feeling rather bold.
Not breaking the eye contact you got closer and closer slightly pushing him back so that in the couple of steps the back of his legs met the bed and it only took you a slight nudge to push him on the bed.
Not wasting a moment you straddled his lap. He didn't hesitate and put his hands on your waist. His thumbs slowly rubbing circles to soothe you into talking. He looked at you with wide eyes, he clearly didn't expect you to do something bold like this, but he didn't seem to mind it, quite the opposite, actually. You knew him too well to miss the mischievous glint in his eyes.
"Can I kiss you?" Felix quickly nodded his head. He leaned in pushing on his elbows and met you halfway to a kiss. His lips were soft as ever, you immediately whimpered at the touch, already feeling weak in the knees. Sometimes you felt as if Felix was some type of drug. There was no way the attachment and constant longing you felt towards him was normal. Especially his kisses. If you could, you would spend eternity caressing his soft lips with yours. His lips gliding over yours had you feeling euphoric. Mere brush of his lips against yours made you feel alive. You wondered if he knew how much you loved him.
Felix returned the kiss with just as much love and passion you put into it if not more. Once soft and slow kiss was now hard and passionate and was igniting you from inside. You didn't even want to lean back for air despite your lungs already starting to burn. He must have realized you actually needed air to breathe so he leaned back, but he still held you close. His lips now softly caressing your neck while you regained your composure. You were sure your neck would be a sight to behold in the morning. But to put it quite frankly, you didn't give a damn.
Your eyes met, he tried to say something but you didn't let him. God, you felt awful. But you didn't know what to do, what to say. You were in an emotional turmoil. You were a mess. All you knew was that you had to show him how much you loved him, how much he meant for you.
Moving from his lips you started to litter his beautiful face. His pretty nose, his pretty eyes, his forehead. You made sure to kiss his cheeks as many times as many freckles he had. The way Felix squirmed beneath you, the way he was all flushed up and embarrassed, how he couldn't hold the eye contact and the way his red and swollen pouty lips kept mumbling that you should kiss his lips instead was driving you crazy.
After placing one last kiss right beneath his jaw, you leaned back and took the sight in. Your heart was about to burst out of your chest. How did he look ethereal every given second?
"I love you so much, you know that, right?" You slowly muttered after a few long seconds of debating how could you force yourself to talk, or just simply what were you going to say. Felix looked at you for a second before suddenly moving you two, so that now you were beneath him, and he was on top. The sight of him hovering above you didn't really help your situation, like at all! Because now the light was hitting him from the back just right, and the shadows made his features look more defined and sculptured, and you were not feeling good at all.
"What are you doing?" You couldn't help but ask, you couldn't tell what his blank face meant. Felix smiled and your heart melted yet again. "Showing you just how much I love you. Also, I have to pay back for all the kisses you gave me, so brace yourself love." He winked at you and you couldn't help but giggle. What a dork. You were about to make a clever remark, but he shut you up by connecting your lips once again. His one hand sliding through your hair while the other arm wrapped around your waist drawing you closer. You've never felt safer and more loved. And you felt silly for ever worrying. This man loved you just as much as you loved him.
You smiled into the kiss and just let yourself go.

Pining Idiots (college edition)
Chapter 8: Drinking Games and Impulse Decisions
Tumblr media
WC: 5,986; Rating: 18+
Read Chapter 7 here!
The real party begins and things get a bit more than flirty among the attendees. Stirring up emotions and bringing hopes up high, setting Chan and Seungmin up for an eventful movie night.
Author's Note: We have a slight deviation in format for this chapter! In order to (hopefully) best portray the party antics, the first section is just from an omniscient third person narrator rather than Chan or Seungmin's perspective.
⋆⭒˚。✧。˚⭒⋆
After making sure everyone has a drink, they all gather around the coffee table. Hongjoong takes the opportunity to lean over to whisper to Chan. “How did Woo become in charge of this party?”
“I honestly have no idea, but at this point, I’m pretty sure Minho is the only one who could stop him.”
“And is that likely?” They both look over at Minho, who is observing Wooyoung like a cat watching a bird on a window sill.
“Your guess is as good as mine.”
Changbin produces a deck of cards from their game shelf and fans them around a can of beer in the center of the table, per his Loki’s request.
“That’s right folks, we’re playing King’s Cup.” Wooyoung claps his hands, looking around the loose circle. “Does anyone not know how to play?”
Seonghwa, Hongjoong, and Jeongin raise their hands.
Jongho looks baffled. “How have you been friends with Woo for so long and he’s never made you play? He made me play literally the first time I went to his apartment.”
“Just lucky, I guess,” Seonghwa shrugs.
“Cut the chit chat! Save it til after I explain the rules!” Wooyoung tries and fails to smack Jongho on the back of the head and is forced to dive into Felix’s arms to avoid getting hit himself. “So! Basically you take turns pulling cards, going around the circle, and when you pull the card, you have to follow the rule that goes with that card.”
“Oh wait!” Chan runs over to the game shelf and pulls out the easel they use for pictionary. “For the rules. Who has good handwriting?”
“Oh yes! Give it to Sannie!” Wooyoung throws a glare Jongho’s way. “That’s an appropriate interruption. Anyway. Ace is waterfall – you drink until the person in front of you decides to stop drinking, all the way around the circle. 2 is you, meaning you assign a drink to whoever you want. 3 is me, so you take a drink. 4 is floor, so last person to hit the floor has to drink. So, here’s a thing: 5 is guys and 6 is chicks. I realize we’re probably all guys here, but some of us are definitely dressed as guys and some are not, so I think we can divide up and still use these rules.”
He surveys the group for a moment. “So on 6 Felix, Hyunjin, and Yeosang obviously drink. And like San, Hwa, Joongie, and Jisung since you’re not in, like, man costumes. Then the rest of us will all drink for 5. Great. So then 7 is heaven – last one to point up drinks. 8 is date, you pick someone who has to drink whenever you drink.”
“Do you also drink when your date has to drink or is it one way?”
“Great question, Mingi. That usually depends on who you’re playing with. Let’s go with house rules say you both drink every time.”
Minho interrupts before he can continue. “Don’t the people who live in the house typically decide on house rules?”
Minho tilts his chin up, looking down his nose at Wooyoung, and the room goes silent. Several sets of eyes meet, no one is really sure how to cut the building tension. After a moment, Wooyoung purses his lips and nods. “You right. Did you wanna have it the other way?”
“No, I don’t care.” Minho shrugs, a smug look on his face. “Carry on.”
Wooyoung narrows his eyes, turning sharply to glare at Mingi when he starts to giggle. “Moving on. 9 is rhyme, so you say a word and each person says something that rhymes with it, and if you can’t think of one on your turn, you drink. 10 is categories – same vibe, you name a category like ‘primary colors,’ and if you can’t name one on your turn, you drink. Jack is never have I ever –”
“But we played that already tonight.” Seonghwa whines. “Don’t make me think of more. Pick another game to play for jack.”
Wooyoung grins, remembering his idea from when they arrived. “Great idea, Hwa. Let’s play spin the bottle on jacks. As long as that works for you, Minho.”
Minho just rolls his eyes and nods.
“Awesome! Changbinnie, can you go get a bottle we can use?” When Changbin returns from the kitchen with an empty soju bottle, Wooyoung winks. “Thanks, Bin. Okay. Queen is the question master. Until the next queen is pulled, if you ask a question and someone answers, they have to drink. And finally, on a king, you get to set a rule until the next king is drawn; the punishment for not following is taking a drink, of course. The rule can be whatever you want – speaking in an accent or foreign language, having to take an invisible gnome off your cup before drinking, blowing a raspberry on the end of each sentence, whatever you want.”
“Why’s there a beer can in the middle of the cards?”
“Another excellent question. After you draw your card and follow the rule, you discard by sticking it under the tab of the beer. They’ll build up throughout the game, and if you pop the tab with your card, you have to chug the beer.” Wooyoung draws a card. “Let’s play.”
On his second turn, Chan pulls the first jack of the night. Amid the hoots and hollers, he spins the bottle and it lands almost exactly between Minho and Seungmin, a little closer to the latter; his eyes go wide.
“Yes! Go claim your kiss!”
Yeosang tries to get a better look. “But is he kissing Seungmin or Minho?”
Jisung and Felix both shout out Seungmin’s name, and others around the table clap and nod in assent. The look on Seungmin’s face is a little hard to read as his gaze flits from Chan to Minho and back.
When Chan still seems to be hesitating, Wooyoung, the great help that he is, calls out, “You two live together so you can kiss Minho whenever you want! Better take the opportunity to see if Seungminnie is as good a kisser as Mingi says.”
Mingi flushes at that and the room erupts in laughter. Hyunjin nods empathically. “He definitely is, go for it Channie hyung!”
Chan is pretty sure he hears Seungmin mutter ‘oh my god’ under his breath. Seungmin feels like his heart is going to beat out of his chest. Chan presses a chaste peck to Seungmin’s lips, and the room erupts in boos and shouts for a ‘real kiss.’
“Come on, Channie.” Minho smirks. “We’ve heard about Seungmin’s kissing prowess, better show everyone your skills. Kisses have to last at least 7 seconds. House rules, right Woo?”
Wooyoung’s smile stretches from ear to ear. “You’re so right, Min. House rules. Don’t worry, guys, we can count it out for you.”
“Why do I feel like they’re conspiring against us,” Chan whispers.
Seungmin chuckles nervously. “Cause 10 minutes ago I never would’ve bet on Minho and Woo agreeing on anything. Let’s just… just go for it.”
When Jisung starts a chant of ‘kiss, kiss, kiss,’ Chan looks to the ceiling with a sigh. He gently cups Seungmin’s cheek, drawing him forward. The kiss starts out the same way as the first, hesitant and light. Seungmin’s own hand comes to rest on Chan’s chest as his tongue slides along the seam of Chan’s lips. Chan accepts this gentle invitation, tilting his head a bit as he deepens the kiss, gently licking into Seungmin’s mouth.
If Seungmin’s kiss with Hyunjin earlier in the night was electrifying in its sudden intensity, his kiss with Chan is like a low burning fire, subdued but searing. Lost in their own world, they only separate when the clapping starts. They break apart, blushes covering both their faces.
“Well it certainly looked like a good kiss,” San teases. “Maybe we should hear a review.”
“I think Chan’s gonna explode if we keep teasing.” Changbin talks over the giggles his use of the word ‘explode’ elicits. “Hongjoong, draw your card.”
Chan sends a silent thank you his way. The game goes on, with less fanfare. They learn that Felix crumbles under pressure when it comes to rhymes and categories. At some point it seems like half the room seems to come to an agreement to gang up on Jongho; he ends up with 3 different dates, though of course that ends up back firing for Yunho, San, and Wooyoung, especially when all of the 2 for you drinks are assigned to him, and thus them as well.
When Jongho, who is clearly the best at holding his liquor of the four of them, starts to falter on following the other rules with a sly smile, San starts to complain. He became Jongho’s date in the first round and decidedly does not share his cousin’s constitution when it comes to drinking. His face is beet red, and he’s developed a habit of singing randomly, accompanied by Jisung more often than not. “You’re doing this on purpose!”
Jeongin decides that he’s benefiting most from the situation when his turn to spin the bottle comes. San nearly knocks him over when he plops into his lap for his kiss. When they break the kiss, San snuggles into Jeongin’s chest and announces that this is his new seat. Amid the laughter, apologies, and attempted scolding, Jeongin waves San’s friends off telling them he’s okay with keeping him.
Mingi has got tears in his eyes from laughing when he pulls a king and delivers his rule. “Except for Sannie, everyone needs to sit on their date. Jongho, you can trade off between Woo and Yunho each round to be fair.”
Jisung is elated when he wraps his arms around Hyunjins waist, and he sinks back into Jisung’s hold with a happy sigh. Jongho, on the other hand, looks like he’s trying to decide if he should strangle Mingi or Wooyoung first, the latter having just bounced into his lap with a gleeful shout.
Felix ends up popping the tab on the beer, but to his relief, Yunho offers to share it with him. They decide not to replace the beer for the last few cards, agreeing that there won’t be enough to pop it.
When Yeosang pulls an ace, he looks at San in Jeongin’s lap who would end up being one of the last three. “Maybe for the last ace we can play another game instead.”
Wooyoung squints at him before turning to Minho. “House rules man, what say you?”
Minho laughs. “Only if it’s the shouting game.”
“I’m like 98% sure this is going to make San cry.” Hongjoong giggles. “Baby, maybe you should just win right away so he doesn’t need to play.”
Those who haven’t played with him before raise their brows. Mild mannered, soft spoken Seonghwa win the shouting game? But when the game begins, they all understand. Yeosang starts off mildly, Yunho goes a little easy on Mingi, but then between him and Seonghwa, it has never been louder in this house. When Seonghwa turns to shout into Hongjoong’s face, he doesn’t even try to play, just takes his drink.
The second to last card pulled is the final king, allowing Hyunjin and Yunho to slide off of Jisung and Jongho’s laps, respectively. The former looks a touch disappointed, the latter delighted.
Jisung does brighten when Hyunjin pats his leg, leaving his hand resting on his thigh. “You were a great chair, Sungie.” Yunho looks like he might do the same to Jongho, but thinks better of it when he sees his face, instead choosing to reclaim his seat between Yeosang and Mingi.
Mingi decides on an easy last rule, making Jisung wonder if the man is secretly his best friend. He rules that you have to hold hands with one of the people next you until the end of the game. Of course, he makes an exception for Jeongin and San again, since Jeongin is holding San’s entire person.
Seonghwa’s last card ends up being his second jack of the night. When he spins the bottle, it’s so close to landing on Wooyoung again, but it stops on Felix instead.
“I feel like ending this game with the two prettiest people in the room making out feels right.” Changbin’s comment is controversial, to say the least, based on the fact that as many affronted noises sound as laughs do. After the kiss, everyone is getting up, stretching, and breaking into smaller groups to chat. All but two of them. “Jeongin-ah, are you okay there?”
His smile makes his answer obvious. “I’m just fine. I think San says he’s hungry, though, and that you should have protein when drinking. Minho! Can you get my jerky from the kitchen?”
“And a gallon of water,” Minho mutters on his way out. After delivering the goods, he announces to the room that he’s going to order delivery and that people need to tell him what they want or they won’t be eating.
By the time the food arrives, those with a bit more energy have played a few rounds of flip cup, and the rest are gathered in the living room relaxing. San has sobered up enough to feel a little embarrassed about having spent half the night snuggled up on Jeongin, but all the teasing is good natured. He also is not so embarrassed that he chooses to sit anywhere but right beside him on the couch. It helps that Jeongin slings his arm around San’s shoulders almost immediately.
Chan and Seungmin are shy of each other. They stay in each other’s proximity but don’t interact much as the night goes on. Seungmin is staring at the back of Chan’s head when Minho sidles up next to him. He only jumps a little when the older man puts his face directly into his line of sight.
“Minho! Hi.” Seungmin prays that he didn’t notice who he was looking at.
“Hey, I was wondering if you could do me a favor.”
“Yeah, of course. What’s up?
Minho looks over at the couch where San and Jeongin are sitting. “Tell me a little about San. I know he’s your friend, but I want an honest take.”
“Oh! Yeah, sure.” Minho gives him a quizzical look when the relief is a little too plain on his face. “San is super nice. He seems like he really cares about people and works hard. He’s actually double majoring and gonna be a vet.”
Minho’s expression is fairly passive, but maybe on the positive end. “Alright. Thanks.” At that moment, they see San stand and walk back toward the bedrooms. Minho is by his side in an instant.
San’s jump at Minho’s sudden appearance is much more noticeable than Seungmin’s. Minho smirks. “Looking for the bathroom?”
When he recovers, San nods. “Jeongin said it was down the hall to the right?”
“It is, but let me take you there anyway.” Minho looks him up and down. San’s a little taller and definitely broader than he is. Still, that doesn’t mean much. “So Jeongin, huh?”
“Oh, um, yes?” San clearly doesn’t understand where this conversation is going at first but then it seems to click. “Yes, Jeongin. He seems really cool. I’m sorry I was so, um, clingy with him earlier. I get like that sometimes when I drink. I should’ve eaten more before going out today.”
“I picked up on that.”
San is crumbling under Minho’s stare. “I know he’s your roommate, and you probably worry about him. As you should. And I know I’ve only met him a couple times, so me being all over him looks bad. I promise I’m not usually like that.”
Minho raises an eyebrow.
“I mean. I know I said I get clingy before, but I don’t usually do it with random guys.” San takes a deep breath. “I mean, he’s not just a random guy to me. It’s just that normally I’m like that with friends that I know better, like Yeosang or Woo. I’d like to get to know Jeongin better, but like outside of a party. If he’d want that. And you! I’d love to get to know all of you better.”
Minho pulls his lips between his teeth and raises both brows. San looks like he’s about to really start panicking when Minho says okay, then just walks back to the living room. He sits in San’s vacant seat with a satisfied grin on his face.
Chan eyes him suspiciously. “Minho, you were nice, right?”
“I’m always nice, Channie.”

✦Seungmin✦
“That was so fun!” Hyunjin swings Felix back and forth as they wait for Seungmin to open their door. They’re both giggling like mad men as they spill into the room. They engulf Seungmin in their hug as well, and they all fall onto Seungmin’s bed laughing. “I really wasn’t sure that going to Chan’s was going to make tonight better, but I’m so happy we went.”
“Yeah, it was really a great time! I kind of wish Juyeon had come with us.” Felix rolls over on top of Seungmin. “I kinda wish all the parties we went to were more like that. I’m kinda tired of dealing with drunk jerks and girls who think they can kiss and touch you however they want cause you’re gay.”
“Ugh, you’re so right,” Hyunjin groans. “Like, it can be fun, but just cause I know your friend, it doesn’t give you license to treat me like your designated gay.”
Seungmin laughs and agrees, though he’s not sure he’s actually had that experience. He’s more likely to be asked to pretend to be someone’s boyfriend rather than get groped without permission on the dance floor.
“Oh, but speaking of kissing and drunk jerks.” Hyunjin leans his head against Seungmin’s shoulder, voice losing its mirth. “Thank you for earlier.”
Felix shifts himself over Hyunjin so that he can curl against his back while Seungmin turns to face him. Seungmin puts his one arm under Hyunjin’s head and cards his other hand through his hair. “Of course, Jinnie. Hearing him say those things made me so mad, and I hate how he makes you feel.”
“We both do,” Felix chimes in, his arms wrapping around Hyunjin’s middle. “And we wanna do whatever we can to help you.”
A tear runs down Hyunjin’s face, to the tip of his nose, before dropping onto Seungmin’s sleeve. “Thank you. I love you guys.”
“We love you, too.” They both snuggle into him, pressing kisses to his forehead and shoulder.
“Wait!” Felix scrambles up to his knees, pulling Hyunjin’s shoulder and pushing him so he lays flat on his back before peppering him with kisses. “I wanna kiss your face, too; you already made out with Minnie tonight.”
His actions have the intended effect, lightening the mood back up. All three boys are laughing again.
Still giggling and receiving his kisses, Hyunjin turns his head back to Seungmin. “You really are a great kisser, Min. But I can’t believe you didn’t tell us how your kiss with Chan was the second we got back!”
Seungmin flushes, falling onto his back with his hands covering his face. “It was amazing! I can’t believe Minho encouraged it! If he were my boyfriend, and it was between me and literally anyone else, I would’ve shoved them out a window.”
Felix and Hyunjin are cackling now, tears of laughter starting to gather now.
“I’m serious!” Seungmin laughs. “His lips are like two clouds made of bliss. Like I’m pretty sure kissing him could cure cancer or something. I need to be able to kiss them again.”
“Wow, you know, people have said I have pretty good lips myself.” Hyunjin’s pout lasts about two seconds before he’s laughing again. “I think pillowy has been thrown around, soft as flower petals, maybe?”
“Yes, Hyuni, your lips are wonderful, too.” Seungmin squishes his face, causing him to pucker a bit before pressing a kiss to them. “10/10 would kiss again. But Chan… I wish he was mine to kiss whenever I want.”
Sensing that the vibe in the room is shifting toward unhappiness again, Felix pinches a cheek on each of their faces. “Well, this is unfair. Seungminnie is a great kisser, and Hyunjin has pillow lips; and I didn’t get to really kiss either of you.”
“You realize you literally just kissed every inch of Jinnie’s face, right?”
“It’s not the same, and you know it!” Felix is the one pouting now, looking a bit like a grumpy cherub. “I told Juyeon I was gonna kiss people if it came up in the games, but I probably shouldn’t just do it for fun with you guys.”
“You know we don’t generally sit around kissing, Lixie.” Seungmin brushes a loose lock of hair behind Felix’s ear. “Plus, you got to kiss Seonghwa; I bet that was great.”
Felix sighs. “True. He’s, like, perfect. Hongjoong is so lucky.”
“Says the literal angel with a super nice and understanding boyfriend.” Hyunjin rolls his eyes with a smile. “Back to the matter at hand, Chan totally loved kissing you, too.”
“Yes! You couldn’t see him, obviously, but everyone could tell!” Felix looked thoughtful for a second. “Minho even looked happy about it. Maybe things aren’t what they seem with them?”
“He did look happy about it! Plus, like Minnie said, he basically threw them together. That’s kinda weird. Unless he’s just looking for a threesome?”
Felix hits him in the stomach. “Either way, I think it might be a good sign for you, Min.”
“I’m not sure about that. We were all drinking a lot.” Seungmin looks skeptical. When his phone dings, all three of their heads turn toward it. “There’s no chance that’s Chan confessing his undying love for me, is there?”
It’s not.
The message is from San, checking to see that they got back to their dorm alright. Seungmin sees that he’s typing again as soon as he says that they did. Seungmin smiles. “Sannie’s asking me about Jeongin and Minho.”
“Oh my god,” Felix gasps. “Can you believe the way he just set up camp in Innie’s lap like that?”
“And not to be that guy, but watching them kiss was so hot,” Hyunjin exaggeratedly fans himself with a hand. “Talk about good kisses. Wait but why is he asking about Minho?”
“Did they kiss, too, and we missed it?”
“Guys,” Seungmin sounds exasperated but looks a half second away from bursting out laughing again. “He didn’t kiss Minho. But Minho made him really nervous. He basically wants to know that Minho won’t kill him if he starts trying to talk to Innie.”
“Oh, yeah, I saw them talking.” Felix gets that thoughtful look on his face again. “You should text Chan about it! Then maybe he’ll bring up your kiss!”
“Lixie, you’re so smart! Text him!”

✧Chan✧
Chan is sprawled out on the living room floor, replaying his first kiss with Seungmin in his head over and over. For the 10th time since basically everyone left their house he asks, “Maybe I should text him now.”
“We’ve been over this, Chan.” Changbin sighs. “You were the one to point out that Hyunjin is probably sleeping in his bed tonight and that you want to talk about the kiss when you’re both sober.”
“I know, but the more I think about it, the more I need to know how he felt about it,” Chan whines.
“Solution!” Jisung lays down with his head on Chan’s stomach. “Let’s not think about kissing Seungmin and instead think about how perfect Hyunjin felt in my arms. We need to come up with a plan to get him sleeping in my bed.”
The others laugh, and Jeongin throws a pillow at him, hitting Chan instead. He is a good sport about it, just putting the pillow under his head. "Let’s talk about something we actually can say with certainty: I’m gonna get that himbo in my bed.”
More laughter follows, though Chan definitely notices Minho pull a face. Rather than call that out to everyone, he readies himself to defend San, who he’s fairly certain does not deserve the label of ‘himbo.’ But then his phone vibrates, and it’s Seungmin.
“Guys! Guys!” He sits up suddenly. He shoves the phone at Changbin. “It’s Seungmin! What if it’s about our kiss? I can’t read it, what did he say?”
Changbin swipes the phone open, turning it briefly so Chan’s face can unlock it. His smile falters when he looks down. “Funnily enough, Seungmin wants to talk about the himbo, too.”
Disappointment washes over Chan. Maybe they’ve read too much into Seungmin’s behavior, and he really doesn’t like him. He doesn’t let himself get lost in it, instead listening to Changbin’s summary of the text. Turns out Minho had scared him, as Chan suspected, but he was genuinely, if still a little drunkenly, interested in Jeongin. He’s worried about having ruined his chances, both with Jeongin himself and with his friends. Personally, Chan had been amused and endeared by San’s behavior.
“So basically he wants to know if San should be worried about where he stands with us,” Changbin finishes. “Min, I’ve gotta know, what did you say to him?”
Chan can’t tell how Jeongin feels about the situation, his tone is even when he asks the same question.
“I didn’t say anything!” Minho throws his hands up in a gesture of innocence or surrender, Chan can’t tell which. “I only pointed out that I picked up on him liking our Innie.”
“Okay, but you had to do something else,” Jisung looks like he’s bracing for another pillow attack. “How much death glaring did you do?”
Chan takes his phone back as they start to bicker, still trying not to be bummed that Seungmin texted about San and Innie rather than about their kiss. He crawls over to the couch and climbs up next to Jeongin.
“So Innie,” Chan extends the phone toward him. “Do you wanna answer or should I say what I think?”
Jeongin considers him for a moment. “Well, what do you think?”
“I mean,” Chan rubs at the back of his neck. “From what I’ve seen of him and heard from Seungmin and his friends, San seems like a good guy. Sounds like you are at least somewhat interested in him, and you definitely looked like you enjoyed his attention. I would probably encourage him to reach out to you.”
Jeongin’s blush colors his cheeks, ears, and starts to spread down his chest. Chan knows it’s partially the alcohol, but it definitely seems telling. Suddenly he doesn’t mind that this is what Seungmin chose to text him about.
Jeongin shoves at his shoulder. “You’re doing it again.”
“Doing what?” Chan tries to snuggle in and plant a kiss on Jeongin’s cheek, but Jeongin pushes at his face.
“Fond-gazing.” Jeongin rolls his eyes, his lips still turned up at the corners. “Tell him to have San text me. We don’t need to play telephone.”
Chan smiles and texts Seungmin back. Before he can ask again about if he should say something about the kiss, Jeongin continues in a softer voice. “You guys like him, right? Minho isn’t going to have a problem with him if I decide to start seeing him?”
Chan wraps his arm around Jeongin’s neck and kisses his forehead before he can shove him away. He barely manages to say that Minho will be fine about it before he’s being hit repeatedly with the other couch cushion. After diving to the floor to escape, he adds, “Minho is just protective. I think San reminds him of this guy Changbin dated his freshman year. Minho got a bad vibe from him, but didn’t say or do anything. Not long after Changbin got hurt, and Minho felt like it might’ve been avoided if he’d acted on his instinct. I think he just wants to make sure that he does what he can to support you.”
Jeongin nods thoughtfully. “Thanks, hyung.”
By the time he gets back to his phone, he’s sure Seungmin must be asleep. He types out a message and deletes it again 10 times before deciding he’ll listen to his friends and wait to say something in the morning. When he wakes, Seungmin beat him to the punch.
Seungmin: Hey Channie hyung. Thanks again for pulling that together last night. It
really helped cheer Hyunjin up. Felix and I had a great time, too. We can’t wait for your next party.
Did you still wanna meet up today?
It takes him a moment to remember that he’d invited him over for a movie night to make up for their canceled dinners. He already knows Jeongin has plans tonight. Maybe if he can get Minho to go out, he can try to set up a more romantic vibe and really make his first move. He restrains himself, only putting two exclamation points in his response, before setting off to find his roommates and prepare for their date.

✦Seungmin✦
Seungmin gets to the house at the same time as the delivery guy, so he has the pleasure of surprising Chan when he opens the door. It’s way too much food for the two of them, but it turns out that neither Minho nor Jeongin are there. Chan insists that they can eat it all, but they make it through just about half.
While they eat, they run through their usual dinner conversation – they talk about their classes, their friends, their families. Since it’s just them, they end up talking about their families more, reminiscing a bit as well.
Chan sighs. “Do you ever wish we could go back to those first days and do it all over?”
“Oh yeah, going back to when nap time was expected and all you had to do was play all day?” Seungmin laughs. He notices the melancholic expression on Chan’s face. “Of course, the best part was spending every day with the best friend a kid could ask for.”
When Chan meets his eyes, he’s worried that he can see right through him. He almost hopes he’ll change the subject. Unfortunately, Chan seems to be riding his train of thought. “It should’ve stayed that way. I’m sorry I didn’t try harder to stay close. I’ve always regretted it.”
“It’s okay, hyung.” Seungmin hopes the honorific helps to soothe the hurt. “It wasn’t just you; I should’ve tried harder, too.”
“But I am the hyung, right?” Chan gets this far off look in his eyes for a second, but he shakes it off before Seungmin can think of the right thing to say. “Anyway. We’re here now. And we’re supposed to be having fun. Wanna watch Spiderman?”
Seungmin’s smile is the only answer he needs.
They get things set up in the living room. There are a few snacks (as if they didn’t eat enough already) and a couple of beers on the coffee table. Seungmin cues up the movie while Chan puts their leftovers away. Seungmin settles in on the couch. Despite knowing his propensity for skinship, Seungmin is still a little shocked when Chan plops down into the seat right next to him. He has to remind himself that it’s only surprising because Chan doesn’t realize how nervous and excited Seungmin is to have his thigh and shoulder pressed against Chan’s.
While they’ve both seen the film, they’ve never watched it together, so they don’t talk quite as much as they might’ve otherwise. They actually have to pause for a minute to debate which actor portrayed the hero the best, going so far as to send the question into the group chat. Ultimately, they agree to say that Tobey McGuire is the best Spiderman, while Tom Holland is the best Peter Parker. At least until they can reach consensus in the group chat.
After that, they fall into a more comfortable rhythm, commenting on this and that, poking fun at each other. They silently agree to go right into the second movie, Chan going to refill their drinks in the transition. When he returns, he sits even closer somehow, wrapping his arms around one of Seungmin’s; he prays his blush isn’t noticeable.
“I’m so happy we’re doing this,” Chan says, his face way too close to Seungmin’s, looking too earnest. “It feels like the old days.”
The old days… when I was the little brother and you were the big brother. Seungmin holds in his sigh, but he must stiffen noticeably.
Chan straightens up and Seungmin immediately misses the heat of his body pressed against his. “Are you okay, Minnie? Am I crowding you too much?”
“No, no.” Seungmin snags the hand that’s attempting to slide out from under his arm, pulling it into his lap so he can hold it. That’s fine, right? Felix has a boyfriend, and I hold his hand all the time. I’m not in love with Felix, but… “You’re fine, hyung; I just remembered something dumb. I’m good, if you’re good.”
Chan gives him a heart-melting smile and snuggles back in against him. “I’m very comfortable.”
They watch quietly for a while, needing to settle back into the peace they shared just 20 minutes ago. Eventually, they are back where they were, watching and chatting, just happily being together. At one point Chan is squirmy, so Seungmin shifts, throwing his arm around Chan’s shoulders, reveling in the feeling of him shifting even closer, even putting his hand on Seungmin’s thigh.
Seungmin sneaks glances at Chan from time to time. At some point, he forgets to look away, just tracing his features with his eyes, as if Chan’s beautiful face isn’t already burned into his brain. He’s so immersed that he doesn’t realize Chan’s said something until he looks up into his eyes. Seungmin swallows hard, unable to look away.
Chan’s hand comes up to cup Seungmin’s cheek gently. “You okay, Min?”
“I, um,” Seungmin can’t think. All he can do is look down at those perfect lips, lips he was kissing just last night. Before he can stop himself, he leans in and kisses Chan. It’s soft and sweet and when he pulls back, he swears he can see love in Chan’s eyes.
He goes in for another, pulling Chan tight to his body. Their kisses are feverish, hands roaming over each other’s bodies. Seungmin’s mind is blank except for Chan, Chan, Chan. Then somehow a quote sneaks into his head; one about how stolen kisses are always the sweetest, stolen pleasures more thrilling.
Stolen.
As if to punctuate that thought, he hears a door open behind him. The door to Chan’s house. The door to Chan and Minho’s house.
He jerks back as if he’s been burnt. Chan looks confused. “Min, are you okay?”
Minho’s voice comes from the doorway. “Sorry, pretend I’m not here. Just gotta grab something.”
Seungmin is on his feet, putting his shoes on in record time. Apologies are falling from his mouth like a waterfall. To Chan, to Minho. To Chan and Minho.
He runs out the door and doesn’t stop until he’s nearly back to his dorm. He feels his phone ringing, sees that it’s Chan. He can’t handle this right now. He declines the call and in his panic the best thing he can think to do is block him. When Minho calls next, he blocks him, too.
Seungmin is panting, but he doesn’t realize he’s crying, too, until he closes the door to his room, falling back against it.
It takes a moment for him to notice that he’s not alone. Felix and Hyunjin are in front of him, holding his shoulders and his face. They’re asking if he’s hurt. He finally has the presence of mind to respond when he hears Felix ask if he should call Chan. His voice is a raspy whisper. “No, please don’t. Guys, I fucked up.”

“THANK YOU!”
You smiled at the sweet, middle-aged lady who had brought you and Changbin your food.
After a 30-minute freak-out over the fact that Changbin decided he was going to pick you up, you found yourself at Denny’s sitting across from the curly-haired man smiling like a complete idiot.
You were on your 15th question now. After deciding that things would be easier if one of you just asked a question and then both answered it, things seemed to be going a lot smoother. By now you had found out whether or not he liked pineapple pizza (he doesn’t), the last concert he went to (he saw Day6 live), how he had his first kiss when he was 13 (it was at homecoming), and various other things about him that for some reason just made sense.
You guys answered most of your questions in the car on the drive over. And the whole ordeal with Changbin picking you up from your dorm sent Felix into retrograde.
When Bin arrived at your dorm Felix was the one to answer the door. He smiled, estranged to his friend’s presence but happy for the surprise nonetheless. He felt so enthralled that his friend had come to visit him out of the blue. But the moment you walked out in your oversized sweater and yoga pants telling Changbin that you were ready, it all seemed to click.
As you hopped into your ballet partner’s Escalade and the both of you drove off, Felix simply stood at your guys’ door with his mouth agape in bewilderment at the fact you just left him there without even so much as a last-second invitation.
It was kinda hilarious. And a great conversation starter.
“Alright, we have five questions left,” you stated as you picked up a fry off your plate. “It’s your turn.”
Changbin cocked his head to the side. “You got that instead of a milkshake?”
“Really? That’s your question?”
“No, sorry…” His voice trailed off as he chuckled. “I’m just surprised, that's all.”
You stared down at your little green smoothie; swirling it around with your straw, watching the extremely tiny pieces of spinach go round and round. “What’s wrong with it?”
“Nothing,” he shrugged. “Just expected you to get something different I guess.”
“Thought I was going to get something a little more…” you tapped the glass of his strawberry milkshake and smirked, “pink?”
He smiled and looked down at his shake, moving his straw back and forth in an attempt to not blush. “Maybe.”
When the waiter came back with your guys’ food, you watched as Changbin dipped one of his fries in his shake and winced at his questionable combination. He was weird. So weird. But the little laugh he let out when he witnessed you scrunch your nose somehow turned that weirdness into something infatuating.
“Alright,” you repeated, glancing down at the food in front of you before once again giving the man in front of you your full attention, “like I said before, we have five questions left. It’s your turn to ask something. Go.”
“Oooh, okay…” Changbin grabbed another fry and tapped it against his chin. “Um… what is something that you hate?”
“Oh that’s easy,” you nodded. “I hate when people are late. It causes me so much anxiety, especially when people are late for important things… Completely drives me insane.”
“Didn’t you say Han used to always be late? Wasn’t he your dance partner?”
“Yeah. And considering that you’re sitting in front of me right now instead of him, we can both see how that’s going.”
“Right, got it,” Changbin said, giving you a quick nod as he bit the fry that was still in his hand. “Never be late or else the pretty girl gets angry. Noted.”
You chewed on your bottom lip a bit in an attempt to mask the grin that was ever so starting to appear on your lips. Changbin was always so casual with his flirting as if saying sweet things were like his second nature. It was evident he knew how much it flustered you as well considering his smize. You promised yourself you’d get him back for that later.
“Shut up… Your turn to answer.”
He cracked his neck to the side.
“Ah, I feel like mine isn’t that bad,” he shrugged. “I just hate it when people over-repeat themselves. If I’ve already heard what you said the first one to two times, why keep going? Just tap me on the shoulder or something and ask if I understood you before you start rambling. It's not that hard.”
You raised your brow. “You know Han has a bad habit of doing that too, right?”
He paused.
“I have a feeling your friend is going to drive us both crazy in this class.”
“He’s my best friend, it’s to be expected at this point.”
Changbin quietly giggled, making your heart race against your will. You shied away, staring down at the table in front of you and thanking the heavens that your hair was down or else the tips of your ears would surely give you away.
There was a small PING! that came from Changbin’s phone that caught your attention. Your eyes briefly flickered to the screen that lay face-up near his elbow and caught heed of a text that lit up the screen.
Tumblr media
Just as soon as the screen lit up, it dimmed. But by the time his screen had gone black, your thoughts were all over the place. Changbin was so busy scarfing down his burger that he hadn’t realized you were staring at the notification as long as you had been. Your mind was confused. In all this time the both of you had practiced together over the week, he had never once mentioned having a partner. But who else would he have listed on his phone like that? And also, why did you care?
It wasn’t until your dinner (definitely not a—) date leaned over the table a bit and asked if you were okay that you finally broke out of your haze.
“Yeah, yeah, I’m fine. Sorry…”
“You sure? I lost you there for a second.”
“I was just…” you had to think of the right thing to say, “... trying to figure out what to ask for the next question. But I think I got it.”
“Ask away.” He lifted his milkshake up to his lips and took a sip.
You sighed. “Do you have a girlfriend?”
If Changbin’s immediate choking wasn’t evident enough, he wasn’t prepared for that kind of question. So you backtracked.
“Or I mean… partner? If you’re into that, maybe? I don’t know. I’m so sorry—”
“I wasn’t expecting that,” he heaved and rested a hand on his chest. “What makes you think I would be dating anyone right now?”
A grimace tattooed itself onto your face as a sudden cringe feeling sat in your gut due to what you were about to admit to.
“I just figured I’d ask,” you shrugged. “I saw the notification on your phone so I just thought…”
He frowned, grabbed his phone off of the table, and clicked one of the side buttons to turn it back on. Once he saw the name on the screen, his confusion turned into fondness.
“Oh, this?” He turned the phone to you. “That’s just my friend Wooyoung. I have his contact like that for personal reasons.”
“You save your friends’ names in your phone like that?”
“You don’t?”
“I have Seugnmin’s name saved in my phone as ‘Seungmin.’” You retorted, laughing in disbelief. “No, I don’t.”
He pouted. “Sooooo… what do you have me saved as then?”
You raised your brow. “Does this count as one of your questions?”
“Now it does.”
You laughed, pulling out your phone from your pocket and began going through your contacts until you landed on his name. A disappointed look from your dance partner is what you were met with when you turned your screen around to just reveal the word “Changbin” along with the words “from ballet class” in parenthesis next to it.
“You didn’t change my contact name after I put it in your phone?” He questioned, letting his own despondency show more than he had hoped.
You shook your head. “No… was I supposed to?”
Changbin pouted; he was clearly hoping for more. It almost made you feel bad.
“And what do you have me saved as?” You asked, slightly curious.
He quickly mimicked you; scrolling through his contacts until he found your number and flipped his phone so that the screen was facing you.
You rolled your eyes as soon as you saw the words:
“Boss Lady 🫡🩰✨”
“Really?” You rubbed the bridge of your nose, squeezing your eyes shut in disdain. “Changbin, I told you before to stop calling me that. Also, is it just a thing for you? You know, to put a shit ton of emojis at the end of people’s names in your contacts?”
“Do you not?!” He raised his voice slightly, leaning over the diner table as if to insist his way of doing things was obviously the correct way.
“Once again, NO!” You shot back, laughing harder now then you had before. “I mean… Felix’s name in my phone is pretty normal, but I have some people’s names saved weirdly I guess. Minho’s name in my phone is just saved as ‘Min-whore’. And I have Han saved as ‘Minho’s boyfriend,’ so…”
Changbin frowned. “Wait… is Han a little…”
He flicked his wrist, causing you to snort in response.
“Please! That guy’s been trying to get laid by a girl since the moment he stepped foot on campus,” you wiped a tear away from one of your eyes. Laughing this hard seemed so foreign to you. “If he was a little fruity none of us would be surprised, but no—he and Lino are just friends. They’ve been inseparable since orientation so our friend group has a habit of teasing them for it.”
“Ah, that makes more sense.”
You nodded. “He even tried to ask me out once.”
Changbin’s eyes widened in response and your nodding became even more vigorous.
“Oh I know! It was cute though, to be honest. We’d had a few classes together and he'd always been so nervous around me. Then one night the kid came up to me at a party freshman year and asked if I was seeing anyone. I had to let him down easy and he just immediately apologized and asked if we could still be friends. Now he and Felix are like my other halves.”
“What made you say no?”
“He’s not really my type,” you shrugged as if it was the most obvious answer ever.
Changbin picked out a piece of lettuce from his burger and put it in his mouth as if to remind himself that his food was still in front of him.
“Wait, so what’s your type then?” He asked nonchalantly, a smirk trying to fight its way onto his lips.
You sucked in a breath, gritting your teeth.
“Well you see, I would answer that question… But you already wasted your question and now it’s my turn, sooo…”
Watching your dance partner press his tongue to the inside of his cheek in annoyance brought you a sense of joy you hadn’t felt in a while. You giggled at the unexpected feeling of power, having a sudden surge of energy course through your body.
“Anyways,” you smiled. “My question, my turn.”
Changbin finally grabbed hold of the burger on his plate and took a bite out of it. He sighed as he were a man starved, eyes practically rolling into the back of his head as he chewed his food. You stared down at your plate; a set of 8 boneless wings smothered in buffalo sauce stared back at you.
In theory, eating in public wasn’t bad. But it was something that you preferred doing within the company of friends. You never felt judged by Felix, Han, Hyunjin, or Minho when you went out. Sometimes Seungmin would make a joke here and there whenever you did something as silly as spilling on yourself or ordering wrong. But, it was always in good fun.
Changbin didn’t seem like a judgmental person. If anything he seemed the exact opposite. But he was also a new-ish person. And that alone made you contemplate whether or not you were going to attempt to eat more than just a fry or two in front of him. But you couldn’t bring yourself to. So you just proceeded to ask your question instead.
“What made you want to join the football team?”
He smiled, setting his burger back onto his plate. He finished chewing before speaking. “Well you see…”
His answer was longer than you expected, although you didn’t mind. He went on to explain how he grew up being insecure about his weight. He didn’t mind how he looked, but wanted to feel better about his body and how he presented himself. So in high school he took it upon himself to do some research and try different things. He excelled in his anatomy and P.E. classes, which eventually became the reason he decided that kinesiology was what he wanted to study in college.
“The classes are actually really fun,” he explained. “We spend most of the time in the gym on campus in order to stimulate our body and learn about our strengths and weaknesses. Then for homework, we’re supposed to write reflections about our strength and conditioning methods. I’m basically knocking out my degree just by going to the gym, which I already do anyways so it’s great!”
He continued, expressing how much football took part in his weight-gaining journey. Bulking up was heavily encouraged, which Changbin was super enthusiastic about. And it was easier to do since he had begun taking nutrition classes for his major and knew what foods would be beneficial to him. He began going on a mini tangent about the different types of foods that were great for helping build muscle mass and which exercises were good to accompany them with, but then paused once he realized he was losing track of the topic at hand.
“Sorry,” he blushed. Your heart swelled a little when he shied away and let his gaze wander down to his own lap to avoid eye contact. “The point is, football seemed like a fun activity and it not only benefited me in terms of my major but also just in general. It’s helped me a lot with my confidence and has helped me meet a lot of good people. I’m really grateful to be a part of my team.”
The grin on your face was hard to hide, although the faltering behind it was less obvious. You felt happy but jealous of Changbin for many reasons in that moment. Being a dancer, especially in your field, was particularly hard. Body type was a big deal in ballet, or at least it was to you. Being a dance major had always made it extra hard to stop worrying about your body. Your teachers and the artistic staff in the dance department had always alluded that the thinner you are, the better off you are… especially in ballet.
It led to you being insecure about your body; something you had been working on more and more since you started living with Felix. He was always making sure you ate, drank water, and were taking care of yourself. It was one of the reasons why he had gotten in trouble numerous amount of times for smuggling food into the practice room. And soon became one of the reasons Minho had often tried to set up small dinner gatherings at his and Han’s dorm, along with why Seungmin would always try to drag you out on In-N-Out trips with him.
You guys were the same, but also not. While you were struggling to lose weight, Changbin was trying hard to gain weight. Eating affected the both of you in different ways. And as much as you felt proud of him for achieving his goal, there was a stinging feeling in your gut; a sort of longing for the same notion of accomplishment he had that you knew you’d never get. And it hurt.
But you couldn’t tell him that.
“I’m happy for you,” the smile on your face became weaker. “I’m glad you’re comfortable with who you’ve become and the people you’ve surrounded yourself with. That’s a big deal.”
You could feel the burning feeling of salt water prickling from your tear ducts and prayed that it wasn’t obvious that your eyes were starting to glass over. But it was. And you hoped Changbin wouldn’t ask you anything about ballet, because if he did you were sure the dam you were holding back would finally break.
Luckily, he was smart enough to catch on that something was wrong and decided to change the subject instead. Sometimes, men are smart.
“Alright, last question…”
He stared at you, observing every inch of your face. He looked concerned, intrigued, and caring all at once. So much so, that it became your turn to finally shy away from him. He beamed slightly, feeling proud in the way he was able to make you smile once again even if you weren’t able to bring yourself to look at him. Which made his question even easier to ask.
“… Why did you say yes to hanging out with me tonight?”
You chuckled, sniffling a bit before letting your eyes meet his again. Then after a moment or two, you shrugged.
“I don’t know. Something about you just feels nice,” you stated truthfully. “You seem fun.”
“Fun? As in ‘your type’ kind of fun?”
“Now I never said that…”
Changbin’s giggle was followed by your own as the both of you laughed at your own banter for what felt like an eternity. Eventually, things calmed down and you spent the rest of the night discussing regular, mundane topics. You were thankful he didn’t bring up the fact you had almost cried earlier and didn’t quite know how to express your unspoken gratitude. You were more sure than ever now that he was a big sweetheart. And that gave you all the confidence you needed.
It was peaceful.
It was comfortable.
It felt safe.
As you watched Changbin scarf down another fry before taking an additional bite of his burger, you let out a sigh you hadn't realized you'd been holding in.
And finally, you let yourself eat.
