sometimes. i think that some ppl—maybe not consciously—but some ppl on the very left of the political spectrum here in the "usa" Want T rump to win, so they can live out the Revolution fantasy. it seems like a lot of people would rather avenge harm than prevent it

#mine #i just b thinking #like i see this a lot in my age and demographics tbh #hard left ppl who refuse to vote type deal #i think there's some longing for a rapture where justice is served with yknow. maybe violence maybe not #but something thrilling and exciting and not the reality of changemaking which is slow and hard and boring most of the time #yk just new or young radicals/activists without a lot of exposure to the movement or experience in the field or connections w elders #not having a solid understanding of what collective action looks like #2024 election #leftist #us politics #usa politics
