sometimes i still go back to my shaytham fics just to read the comments because nothing makes me feel better as a fanfic writer than "whoa ur characterization is so good i love how you write them" multiple times

#ramblings #also they are kind of the fics im most proud of #like my most popular fic (geraskier) is for a ship i dont personally have that much interest in i was just possessed when s1 of twn dropped #and obviously ac fics are a lot less popular so there are just a lot less comments on my ac fics than on my twn fic #but the comments on the shaytham fics are just special. specifically the 2022 batch of fics #ALSO because i got SO much better at writing them. like directly comparing 2019 & 2022 #if theres one ship i want my ao3 to be known for above all else (thats not canon x oc) its probably shaytham. tbh #me after writing the 20th fic where shay isnt the one who has to retrieve the box and also he somehow manages to save ziio #because ziio deserved better. ok. she was so cool #and also because if haytham were to meet his son while ziio is alive his son probably wouldnt have an American Name #and the idea of this rich white guy from britain attempting to pronounce his son's full name is really fucking funny to me
