#saw that pic about the spinoff and 😬🙄 idk i think part of the charm of og is the range of grown ass adults?#like you have bobby as the 'head' of the found family but athen and hen are mutual besties#and hen and chim are both grown ass adults and eddie is a father with some hefty life experience#and even buck in s1 as the 'young kid' of the team had a wealth of life experience and travel and being on his own and his own man#and i look at these new pics and to some extent LS and it's like....these are kids and i'm bored already#idk i think not everything needs to be a 'universe' with multiple cities or different 'divisions'#it's just lazily using an established name for clout and in this case never being able to really capture the magic of the original#which i absolutely think is in major part due to tptb having ZERO concept of what people actually loved about the show#because when the LS cast was giving the good shit and allowed to work like the OG used to? (because it's an issue there now too)#they pulled off some GREAT stuff!#but they could never be consistent with it (partly also due to the RL/OS problem)#i was considering giving it a tiny chance when it was announced but after the s8 implosion and every new announcement about the spin-off?#nah i ain't even gonna waste my time checking it out
