"He spends loads of time in his office at all hours doing paperwork and the like.'

"And once when I was working the radio call system, we received an emergency signal from the other side of the island. There were tourists who needed rescuing straight away. Two hikers from the group had fallen into a cravasse in the ice while caving and Harry was the one who led the rescue team. It was deemed too dangerous to send me out there, per the Captain. But I'm told Harry is absolutely fearless when lives are on the line."

"They managed to get everyone out, thank the Watcher, but one of the hikers was half dead already."

"Harry saved the man's life but he wasn't able to save the man's right hand and left leg... I saw them when they were rushed to our medical wing, that man's skin was blackened with frostbite, hands, fingers and wrists bloated, swollen and red where the damage was still second degree. I'll never get the image out of my head, honestly.' Apparently he had gotten lost in an unexpected blizzard, so he had already been a week without food. Watcher only knows why they hadn't sent for help before they found him.' Not that losing a limb is a miracle, but no one expected him to live. No one but Harry, anyway. Fortunately, winter hadn't quite set in and we were able to airlift them to southern Nunavut en route to a special medical facility in Ontario."

"He was able to help those people survive and beat the odds. "As far as doctors and regular people go, I'd trust him with my life."

The outpost where this takes place is a remote station on Cabot Sound--a very fictional sound inlet on the island of Ellesmere in the territory of Nunavut, which are both real regions, adjacent to Baffin Bay and Greenland.

Brystol never actually meant to run into Harry but always seemed too at the most random times. She wasn't even really sure if she could call them friends, but acquaintances also felt weird. Perhaps they were becoming friends? Which was definitely not something she meant for but he was growing on her in a weird sort of way. At first she found him a little annoying but now she genuinely didn't mind his up-beat attitude. She told herself that it was because he reminded her of her youngest sister.

"What are you doing?" She finally asked him, interrupting whatever he was up to. Brystol wasn't even entirely sure if he had noticed her there since he'd seemed so focused.

Sounds like you are having a great summer. I understand that feeling though. Being away but wanting to get back to work. I am just like that. Oh...keeping people thinking, are you?

Just been on Twitter for the first time in months and I see that everyone is saying I am having a "hot girl summer" in Italy. The people aren't wrong. Spending all of my summer here has been the cure for heartbreak. However, I do look forward to coming home and getting back to making music. Or maybe I've already been doing that. Guess you'll have to find out. @exposedfmstart

Yeah, that was probably how my childhood was. Probably more trick or treating as a child and parties when I was older. I am glad to hear you had fun. @styleshqs

Ah, I'm sure he had a blast regardless of how much the two of you did. When I was a kid, my night consisted of trick-or-treating with my sister, or a party my mums friend was throwing and those were rare as is. I did have a good Halloween this year though, yes! Did some Halloween themed things, and went to a few parties here and there. || @sammygibb-hf

FRANCIS, TRYING TO HIDE HIS AMUSEMENT: Alright, alright, we've had our fun.

FRANCIS: Now then! Listen up--

FRANCIS: --The holidays are behind us, but that doesn't mean we can afford to let ourselves relax.

FRANCIS: Rising temperature averages have made the winters here harsher, in some ways--unpredictable.

FRANCIS: This is why the Powers-That-Be have elected to withdraw most of our personnel from outposts as remote as our little slice of paradise, save for a select few, where necessary.

FRANCIS: As you're all already aware, this team of just a dozen will maintain the Cabot Sound outpost until summer. Commander Murray, I give the floor to you to explain our plan of attack to help us avoid preventable, horrific tragedy.

JAMES: Thank you, Captain. A very cheerful, yet sobering reminder of the devouring, unfeeling void that awaits us all.

FRANCIS: I'm always happy to motivate.

JAMES: As the Captain said, we all need to be extremely diligent. That means no skipping meals, no skipping sleep, and attendance at daily meetings is required.

JAMES: The rota for duties will be updated and posted here every week at 18:00 sharp every Sunday. If you have any questions or complaints, bring them first to your immediate superior or to myself or the Captain.

JAMES: Morale is also paramount, as is health. Physicals will be conducted every fortnight and they are mandatory. Any small injury or condition could become something deadly, and anything you hide from us might come back to hurt yourself and others later.

JAMES: That should be all. Did I leave anything out, Captain? We already spoke to the other shift--

FRANCIS: No, Commander, you've covered the whole of it.

JAMES: Any parting words, Sir?

FRANCIS: Indeed, James--

FRANCIS: To all of you: May we all have a smooth winter and a bright spring ahead of us. ... Don't fuck this up. You're all dismissed.

FRANCIS: And-- Lieutenant Kirkland?

ARTHUR: Yes, Captain?

FRANCIS: I know you've already pulled an extra shift. I can't have our Engineer swaying on his feet.

ARTHUR: But, Sir--

FRANCIS: You look like shit. Go to bed--that's an order.

ARTHUR: Yes, Sir.

Not changing format or anything, but for dialogue-heavy scenes, this is just way easier.
