Just for fun, I'm going to make an absolute WORST CASE scenario for Pokemon day (with sillies)
Pokemon decides to announce NFTs (they did put out a job listing for an NFT expert months ago)
Pokemon merch that's just more overpriced garbage. Shitty pastel tshirts that just have the pokemon logo stamped on the left breast area- $50, only goes to size XL.
Pokemon Go has way too much screen time for yet another Kanto fest
Pokemon Masters, Unite, and Cafe just won't end their trailers.
New tv show that's just a vague reality show about celebrities that liked Pokémon once, and it's more of an episodic celebrity biography show with one line or two about Pokémon. Not even fun ones, C tier at best. So, something like T@yl*r Sw*ft's boyfriend's football career, but one line about playing Blue for a few hours at his cousin's house.
Pokemon Home fees will increase
Pokemon Bank will close TODAY
Port of Red, Blue, Gold, Silver, Ruby, and Sapphire to NSO- you have to pay for online to access it over cloud- internet connection required, and for some reason you have to pay extra for them in a Pokémon exclusive expansion pass. No word of third versions. Does not include the events or Japan exclusives.
Black and White 1 remakes announced. It's chibi like BDSP, colors are dry and washed out, there's graphical errors in the trailer frames, they state BW2 specifically is not part of the remake, they promise tweaks to make the gameplay EASIER than ever. Parts of the game are made with AI and script rewritten by Chat GPT, with an error you spot easily in a trailer. Masuda has the remake game director's neck clenched tightly from the back. He looks at you and says "you will buy the games this time. This isn't a request." Japan pre-order exclusives are amazingly crafted Reshiram and Zekrom statues that even have light up tails and eyes, and also you get shiny versions of them only in the Japanese copies, US gets a cheap piece of paper with generic stock images of Pikachu and Charizard on it, everything is shiny locked for everywhere not Japan.
They tease a Legends game. You think it's going to be amazing, you think oh my god we're getting Legends Unova... wait, it looks Japanese, maybe LEGENDS CELEBI???...it's Legends......... KANTO, and it's the most gorgeous thing you've ever seen after the clear lack of care put into their non gen 1 games since the Switch launched. A selling point is, once again, no new Pokémon after the og 151 so older fans can enjoy it better. Your starters are Charmander, Charmander, and Charmander, you might encounter Bulbasaur and Squirtle in post game. Your job is to stop EEEVIL outsiders from the rest of the regions with their newer Pokémon from settling into Kanto. Johto is having an awesome party next door with all the regions invited, but there's been a convenient landslide blocking the only way over. It's just reskinned Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee. Professor Oak is your age and putting moves on your mom.
Features a mythical Pokémon based on depression that looks like a tiny salary man, comes with its own movie featuring Ash as a depressed Millenial realizing he peaked at 10. He has to get a job. Pikachu is dying of old age and Ash has to "grow up" and release him and all of his other still living Pokémon. It cuts to real life, and Pokémon was just a game he has been playing for years to cope with his parents' divorce and eventually his own with Misty, then May, then Dawn, then Serena, then Goh, etc. Ash's dad is finally revealed: it's Chris Pratt with bad cgi wrinkles, back with milk. They go to the arcade to play Mario to stomp on some................................................................................................................................................................................... KOOPAS.
"Well that's all. Oh wait, one more thing!"
Ed Sheeran and T@yl*r Sw*ft music video featuring 1 Pikachu in a frame that can be easily edited out, with a song not even about Pokémon. The song sounds like shit and is about another breakup.
There, the bar has been lowered to the floor. It cannot get worse.

The Legend of Plushly Jupiter Heapplex
The Legend of Plushly Jupiter Heapplex the Morphing Stickfigure (Title Wip) (Legend of Hercule parody)
How it would go if only my characters were available:
The reverse Victini, Teardrop Plethera is going to take over everything, and it is all the fault of a fully-black Eevee wearing face makeup!
Far: I'm not wearing makeup! That's Charcoal Heart Star. And I can hear you, you know!
Teardrop seems to be pointing at this ragamuffin cast, ready to destroy everything.
These rip-off heroes can't save us! This realm is doomed!
Plushly: Hold on!
What is this? A hero with tightly woven seams has come to rescue us all from this threat!
Plushly: That's right. But first, let's take out the trash. I'm guessing all of you are whimps. I can tell. A reliable source said so.
Plushly: I know the OC Organizations are being rude, letting you die like that; so I'll tell you what...
Plushly: I'll beat you all to a pulp, and then I'll break Teardrop here's spirit! And don't think because he has skin that don't shine that I'll give him no dime.
Teardrop: If you think--
Far: Hol' up... let 'em cook.
Teardrop: That's what I like about you. Pathetic but inspiring. You sure do know how to quit.
Far: ... Thanks! ... I think.
Plushly: I'll take you all on! Don't bother stepping up to fight this maniac after; you have no chance. It is better this way. Believe me.
----
Plushly: What is going on with that look... you think this is funny! Oh a funny guy! I will break you! Come on!
(This guy seems a might bit tough... but a whimp is a whimp... all the same.)
Plushly vs Random Tourist?
----
Plushly: Yeah, take that! Oh, what now? Gritting your... teeth? You got some nerve gesturing to me like that! Come on!
(What the? Is that... dust? Who... are these guys?)
Plushly vs Unnamed Dustimancer
[Certain moves are too small to see normally; read the telegraphs!]
----
Plushly: Not so tough now that you can't hit me with lightning, huh? Who is next? Oh, you? Nah, I'd win.
(... ... Wait... is that thing shaped like a black and red Arceus!? Is that a god!? Oh man... I don't want to die...)
Plushly vs Fleetway Arceus
[Teardrop seems to have gotten to her first; You might lose in 10 hits, but they can tire out.]
----
Plushly: Bold choice. Stay down. What? Didn't you see what happened to your little buddy? Guess you want to learn the hard way. Fine.
(... ... Something tells me this is all uphill from here...)
Plushly vs Raibaru Cipher - Female, Human, Dojo Runner.
[You can't escape her gaze. Blocking or taking the hit is all you can do evasion-wise.]
----
Plushly: Cookie cutter! Poser! Weakling! Show me the goods! Next! Oh you... just surrender. And I won't humiliate you too bad.
(... Oh, bringing a cloak to a fist fight!? Idiotic... c-coward!)
Plushly vs Hypercloak (Blue Mage/Alchemist)
[Blocking, depending on how much you did last match, wore you down. Fight with limited Stamina.]
[Don't use small combos; he'll punish you severely if you try.]
----
Plushly: Running out of steam... who is ne-- ...
(I... I think she is super mad... Was that her friend? Wait... she has a wanted poster... I remember...-- THAT is who she is!?... I thought that Eevee picture was just a prank! I want to leave!)
Plushly vs Far Away Star (Bomb Aura/ Hope Winged Form/ Super-speed) (10 apples)
[If you let her make a 3-Apple Smoothie, Skip to Game Over because she'll corner you.]
----
Plushly: I'm going to knock all of you out for being so insolent! One. By. One! I don't care anymore! You're all being saved by me, with or without your permission! Oh, oh, you? You're one to look at me like that! Don't try it!
(... Why is wishing on this Jirachi not working? Unless... Oh no, is it another weirdo like that Eevee!? What is with that look in its eye?... I... d-don't l-like it!)
Plushly vs Clockwork Jirachi
[Time is not on your side. The clock is sped up!]
----
Plushly: You all got nothing! Your lives are meaningless! I am the true master! Oh, what? What you going to do about it with that toothpick (sword) come on then!
(... Oh no... I just realized something... He has rocket thrusters on his back! And if the last two could fly with ease... gulp)
Plushly vs Kirbonado (Wishing Star Combat/CQC/Swordsman)
[Don't let up. If you see an opportunity, take it. This guy is easy if you stay on him.]
----
Plushly: You all are dominoes. Next.
(...! Is that bird's aura... a sky filled with planets!? Just... w-what? What are these guys!? I think I made a mistake I'll be lucky to tell my contractor let alone any kids!)
Plushly vs. Art Bird (Minimalism Manipulation)
[Fight with boring graphics! You can't perfect this fight; it is scripted to remove health.]
----
Plushly: Great! I defeated one bird, another will be easy!
(... a 10 foot tall bird right after a 5 foot tall bird... and I barely healed... great...)
Plushly vs. Question Marks (Trained by Far Away Star) (Missingno)
[The Health you got back didn't heal you all the way; and worse, you got surprise attacked by an aura collapsing.]
----
Plushly: Y- You think being G-Glitch-ch-ched is going to stop me!? You sad, sad, worthless fake heroes... I- I'll take you all down a peg!
(... Let's see... That move goes there... no... that one... ... Uh-oh...)
Plushly (Moveset scrambled!) vs. Pokemon Nurse
[Fight a professional creature handler... that could handle the three pokemon you fought at the same time!-- with your knowledge mixed up!]
----
Plushly: You're all getting on my last nerve! And what is /your/ problem!? You look like reject toothpaste! That smile is fake! Cut the act already! Didn't you see what I did to the others!? You're toast!
(... Why... is it looking at me... as if it... enjoys what I did!!? This isn't real... No one is that crazy!)
Plushly (Restored) vs. Paradox Interference (Move-removing thread-and-needle (Limit: 6 moves)) (Magic Door) (Frenzied, Galvinized!)
[Keep your moveset in-tact, because once it is altered this session after this battle, for the remainder after, it'll stick like that!]
----
Plushly: You want to go down like your partner! Wait... Why are /you/ now getting a power boost!? No matter... lose.
(... What the!? Now this one is supercharged too! How in all of creation!? And what is with that blockbuster wall? Can't fight normally? Lousy... Strats... I hope.)
Plushly (Rival-Cursed) vs Edge Dreamwalker (Wall-on-a-hilt) (Magic Door) (Frenzied, Galvinized!)
[Your health bar is constantly trying to match Edge's during the fight. Beat her before your destiny as her new counter-balance is sealed!]
[Stay away from the edge of the ring if you value your existence... no really.]
----
Plushly: You seem... intelligent... Bet you know when to quit, right?... No?... Well... Okay?
(... Did I see the ground crack a bit when they shook their head...? No... I'm... halucinating... ... I'm not halucinating, am I?)
Plushly vs. Broth Goldie (?)
[Your opponent studied way too many of your wins this tournament! Use any opening! Defeat 'yourself!']
----
Plushly: ENOUGH! When will you all get it through your thick skulls that I'm trying to help you all!? Oh, what? You 'crying'?
(... 'Can' it cry?)
Plushly vs. Winged Sphere
[One hit from your opponent, boom, gone.]
----
Plushly: The last opponent before I have to fight that weird reject Victini! Be proud. You were spared. But it is now over!
(... Laughter? Stop Laughing!)
Plushly vs. ????
[Paper Bird and Paper Squirrel are fighting together! They won't stand for your nonsense! Just let the timer run out. You got nothing to prove here.]
----
Plushly: Ha! Those pieces of paper went down like... well... paper! And you! ... You, me, fight, now.
(... Terrific...)
Plushly vs. Teardrop Plethora
[Somehow, fighting all those characters in that exact order gave you an edge against the luck-warping of this creature! Now's your chance!-- If you can wear down that huge health bar that is...]
----
Plushly: I did it! I won! And guess what? You can too! If you take my tutorial on how to take action, because when you're obeying me, you're family! Shining smile
Score: ??????????????????

Sync Pair Retrospective - Sygna Suit Kris
SS Kris remains one of my favorite sync pairs in the game. Like, even just from a design perspective, it's wonderful. The combo with Suicune was ideal, the role she plays is divine, there's just no flaw to Kris. She's the best unit ever. Post over. *pink intensifies* No, stay back!
When I consider what makes a truly elite support pair, I think it comes down to a few factors. Obviously there's the severity and efficiency angle, but what makes someone truly worth scouting for is having a specific niche in which they excel, and a broad role which lets them grow beyond one gimmick.
Kris' specific is Rain Dance. Following Ingo and SS Morty, this trait alone speaks volumes. Role compression in the form of buffing and field effect is divine, and Rain had value for the same reason as Sun: there are a ton of options that had Rain-based multipliers, but weren't Water-type and wanted Zone. Now they had both. And because Kris emphasized buffing offensive stats, specifically special offense? She enabled options that couldn't buff, like Clair and NY!Lance, who were otherwise in an atrocious position.
Her broad function is a bit unusual, and I think it's because of this that she never really solidified any specific team composition like Morty did with SS Lyra/SS Erika. See, as a special attack/crit buffer, there are other options. SC Jasmine has special defense debuffing and Safety Net, SC Lillie had a ton of healing and a high flinch rate and much faster buffs, and later you'd even get SS Brendan who had tremendous debuffing potential that rivaled a field effect for broad application. These things offered competition to Kris, who some felt wasn't up to the task. Because they didn't realize her true benefit was in Moves Up Next.
Team Limited Special Boost on her grid is the best skill she has. Her trainer move naturally gives +1 special moves up next under Rain, but this skill could make it +2. And every other MP move, like setting rain or healing? That can also give +1. Kris was, and is, the fastest-acting special moves up next buffer in the game. The reason she never had a specific team comp she excelled at was because she covered a whole damn field. SS Kris + Anni Raihan covered three types of field effects, and stacked special moves up next to the moon. There are numerous showcasings of how insane this gets, but my favorite remains Zinfogel showing off Ethan's Eruption. It's so funny. So while the others had their own unique niches to bring to the table, Kris stomps them all with how hard she pushes offense.
That's not to say Kris didn't have flaws. Like most of these, the main one was speed and gauge control. Kris is fairly slow, and only got Team Swift Reaction 4 on grid, probably as a limitation to her greatness. So unfortunately, heavy, gauge-hungry monsters like Archie could have some serious issues with Kris.
Just kidding! Eevee Day Variety scouts introduced Lyra and Vaporeon, a sync pair that provided Rain on every sync, blocked crits for the team under rain, and gave +2 speed to the team for each use of trainer move. You thought Kris had a flaw? Uh-uh, Kris has no flaws. In fact, she has no flaws so hard that her best partner also matches a ton of her theme skills, and she could drop Vigilance lucky skill for Head Start 1 with literally no drawbacks. It was cute how you all tried, though.
The thing is, Kris is so good that, unlike Ethan who is largely top dog because no one tried, Kris has faced competition twice. The first was C!Calem, another Master Fair Support who packed not only Rain, but Dark Zone. Moreover, Calem didn't have Kris' central weakness: being kinda slow. Calem had gauge acceleration and really good speed and recharging strike, which fixed the issue she had. However, Calem wound up being frail, while Kris had bulk for days. Calem had a Buddy condition to meet that was particularly rough on Gauntlet, with a max limit of 2MP, while Kris did whatever she wanted and a minimum of 3. And despite having a better buffing kit for physical, leading you to think he's a good supplement to Kris in Rain, his decision to give special moves with Rain instead of physical meant he was actively trying to pick a fight that he could not win. Calem remains in the Rain meta solely because Kris cannot help physical Water types and keeps him around for their sake, because she is a benevolent empress. But he sure as hell didn’t scare her.
Even now, we get SS Mina, who is coming in with Rain and Fairy Zone. And just like Calem, Mina is immediately slapped out of Rain. Because how can you possibly compete? Mina doesn't even cap crit rate, it's just +6 special attack. Who's gonna use that, Barry? Mina doesn't offer anything to Rain that Kris doesn't do better, and thus she is relegated to Fairy, or a secondary Rain setter if you're going for Gauntlet streaks or some cute off-type thing in CS. Two challengers rose, but no one can take the Rain Throne from Kris. Though man, can we talk about how we have THREE Supports that set Rain, and none of them are perfectly physical aligned? I think DeNA hates SS Grimsley. Now. There is one who has challenged Kris, and can be said to have won. Champion Bede is the only time I feel like Kris flinched first.
Bede is the most absurd general support in the game, and I don't feel like it's close. +2 to both offenses and crit and +1 to both physical and special moves up next on trainer move, Buddy move gives Free Moves Next and defensive stats, every sync from anyone replenishes 1MP. Bede is wildly aggressive, consistent, and persistent. Kris' flaw is that Team Limited Special Boost is only a 30% chance. While she has a high ceiling, she has a low floor, and she's sadly closer to the floor. Bede may not directly compete, but because he never runs out of MP, he's a much more consistent option in Gauntlet, while his Free Moves Next makes CS a breeze. He even has the audacity to get SEUN on sync for the entire team, just blowing past Kris' damage. And because he offers physical boosting too, he's not even as specific as Kris. Bede is unquestionably the best support, and for the first time, I am forced to admit that maybe, just maybe, Kris has a flaw.
But man, if you're going through an entire year slapping aside competition, including another Master Fair support, you're doing well. Honestly, even in the contest against Bede, Kris does still retain a niche, by having that higher threshold for Special Moves Up Next. She can pump higher damage than Bede for a single shot, with some decent support. And of course, the Rain. Bede can claim conquest wherever he wants, but he won't be breaking into the domain of Rain any time soon.
So to bring this back around. Kris has faced direct competition from two separate competitors to her Rain Support role, and unlike Morty, she beat both and sent them packing, but lets Calem visit on weekends for Grimsley's sake. Even faced against the best support in the game, Kris retains a niche in the same offensive playstyle of move next boosting, and has complete dominion over Rain. If your only competition is the best support in the game, and you didn't even lose? You are top tier. You are top tier all day.

A few days after the rare hunter incident…
Aichi, the not yet elite ’four’, and the gym leaders were at a meeting.
“We had tried to get the rare hunter we had captured to speak, however there was an unfortunate and concerning event.”, the man in a suit said.
“What do you mean by that?”, Misaki asked.
“I will warn you what your about to see is both graphic and disturbing.”, the man replied.
Misaki then put her hand over Aichi’s eyes who sweat dropped. The man simply motioned them to look at a screen behind them. The expressions ranged from curious to skeptical. Nothing would prepare them for what they were about to see. The screen lit up to show the rare hunter tied up in a chair. Suddenly he started twitching weirdly. Some of them looked rather confused at this. The rare hunter started sweating a blanket of sweat.
“I-I didn’t t-tell them a-anything master I-I s-swear!”, the rare hunter said seemingly to himself.
Aichi slightly raised up Misaki’s hand peeking at what they were watching. Suddenly there was a cracking noise and the rare hunter’s limbs started contorting unnaturally. The rare hunter begged more as it continued. Misaki lowered her hand back over Aichi’s eyes as this was going on. There were some surprised gasps in the room and uncomfortable expressions. The rare hunter’s eyes were now whitened out and a strange glowing golden eye-like symbol appeared on his forehead. He stood hanging over with his hands limp to his sides.
“Greetings Kakusans, I’m impressed you were able to defeat my rare hunters. However I wouldn’t celebrate just yet. Soon, your region will fall and your strongest will become my mind slaves.”, a different voice came from the rare hunter’s voice before he fell to the ground like a puppet with its strings cut.
“That’s like some ghost Pokémon stuff…”, Kurosawa commented.
Kishida nodded as he shook like a leaf.
“What the heck was that? I’m pretty sure the mind control that Ren used was nothing like that.”, Gouki questioned.
“What do you think about it Aichi?”, Koutei asked, before sweat dropping as he noticed Aichi’s eyes were covered and Misaki had just removed her hand.
“He’s not a kid you know.”, Kyou said.
“I could still hear it. It’s strange, the closest thing that I’ve seen to that so far is ghost Pokémon possession. I don’t think that it was any of the others. Though, to be fair I don’t exactly know the extent to our powers.”, Aichi replied.
“Who else could it be?”, Gunji questioned.
“I don’t know…”, Aichi replied as confused as the others.
A few days later…
Aichi stood near route 1. He seemed like he was in his own world currently thinking of the events of just a few days ago. He snapped out of it as he noticed someone in front of him waving his hand in his face. It was Naoki. Aichi blinked realizing he had completely zoned out.
“Oh sorry, Naoki.”, Aichi apologized as he rubbed the back of his head sheepishly.
“I guess you must be tired after all the training we did today.”, Naoki replied.
“Yeah...that’s it.”, Aichi replied, not wanting to burden his new friend with what happened at the last league meeting.
“Hehe! Pretty soon me and Gauntlet will be able to beat even you especially after evolving!”, Naoki said as he raised up his fist passionately.
His Gible was now a Gabite.
“Lycanroc? Lycanroc? Lycanroc? Lycanroc. Lycanroc. Lycanroc. Lycanroc. Lycanroc. Lycanroc. (He realizes you’d destroy him right? Especially since he doesn’t even have six Pokémon.)”, Wingal said as Aichi sweat dropped glad that Naoki couldn’t understand Pokémon.
Gauntlet could though and looked ready to throw down despite being exhausted.
“Gabite? Gabite! Gabite! Gabite! Gabite! (Is that so? I can absolutely kick your butt!)”, Gauntlet replied hot headedly.
“What’s with Gauntlet?”, Naoki questioned cluelessly.
Aichi sweat dropped again as the two Pokémon growled at each other.
“Wingal be nice.”, Aichi whispered.
The two Pokémon turned away from each other ‘hmphing”. Naoki looked between the two cluelessly. Aichi chuckled a bit awkwardly.
Later…
Aichi was on his way back home when he suddenly felt an intense wind fly past making him stiffen. The hairs on the back of his neck stood up as he felt something off. Aichi noticed that it wasn’t actually the wind that was acting on him. The wind was blowing at all yet he felt like a torrent of wind was coming at them. Wingal sniffed cautiously picking up the salty smell of the sea. Aichi focused on trying to figure out what was the cause of this strange occurrence. He turned suddenly jumping as a blond teen had appeared in front of him. He had three ahoges and purple eyes. He had on white suit with purple parts with a red A. The teen was Soryu Leon, 002f. Wingal growled at Leon while both Aichi and Leon’s eyes had rainbow spirals briefly as if resonating with each other.
The two were silent; the only sound ringing through the air was Wingal’s growling until the sound of thunder suddenly caused Aichi to flinch. He looked up into the sky to see lightning raining down and a sudden massive downpour of rain. The air became rather moist. Even from the distance they were at from the coast the tides were becoming visibly wild. Aichi sweated nervously as he cautiously looked back over to Leon.
“It seems we finally meet again, 003v. I am 002f.”, Leon introduced.
“...I am Sendou Aichi not 003v.”, Aichi replied as he gave Leon a serious look.
“You will always be 003v. You will come to know that soon.”, Leon replied cryptically.
Aichi tensed at that as Wingal continued to growl at Leon.
“I refuse! You're another one aren’t you? Another one like me and Ren.”, Aichi replied.
“A Psyqualia user, yes.”, Leon replied.
“Psyqualia user? That’s what we’re called?”, Aichi questioned.
“Yes, Psyqualia in some languages means dream. That’s why we are called Psyqualia users. Because we are the ones who will accomplish Team Asteroid’s ultimate dream.”, Leon explained.
“I won’t help Team Asteroid.”, Aichi replied.
Leon simply closed his eyes expecting this reaction from what he was told about 003v’s current condition. Leon lifted up his fist into the air much to Aichi’s confusion.
“Gallade!(Aichi!)”, Ahmes called out, as he ran to Aichi along with Gancelot, Llew, Soul Saver, and Alfred.
Aichi’s attention turned over to the rest of his Pokémon as they got up to him. There was a loud thunderous crackle as the lighting suddenly intensified. The wind became so wild trees started to get uprooted. Worry entered Aichi’s chest not just for his family and friends, but for everyone in Sanctuary town.
“Everyone in Sanctuary town has to evacuate!”, Aichi said.
“That’s covered. When the storm started Takuto told everyone to leave on the tv.”, Alfred replied.
They minus Leon then turned their attention to loud flapping which got louder by the second. From the sky descended a massive shadowy winged figure with every flap of its wings the storm intensified. The darkness caused from the storm masked its appearance though all they could make out was the general shape of the figure and its glowing red eyes.
“There’s a legendary Pokémon that is said to create storms with the flap of its wings…”, Aichi trailed off as his eyes widened, very alarmed to see this Pokémon was actually here and likely under the control of Team Asteroid.
“So, you know of it. However that won’t help you.”, Leon replied with a smirk.
Aichi sweated nervously and hovered his hand over his mega bracelet. However, before the bracelet could even glow, Aichi suddenly saw...water?! Aichi flinched, caught off guard as a wave of water suddenly crashed against him and he covered Wingal. He struggled confused and disoriented. Aichi tried to reach out to his Pokémon as his vision started to blur.
“W-what?!”, Aichi thought as his vision started to get dark.
Aichi tried to activate his Psyqualia, but he couldn’t focus at all. Aichi desperately tried to swim, but the water was too wild, suddenly him careening back. Aichi struggled harder as the air started to leave him. He could even make out water Pokémon struggling within the wild waves.
“C-crap! I’m drowning! I-I can’t die like this! I have to protect ever…”, Aichi’s thought suddenly cut off.
Later outside Sanctuary town…
Shuka put a reassuring hand on Emi’s shoulder as they sat at the evacuation place at Megacolony town. Emi squirmed having a really bad feeling in her chest.
“Aichi will be alright. You know how strong he is.”, Shuka said.
“Even still...I have this bad feeling I can’t shake.”, Emi replied.
Shuka looked over to Shizuka who wasn’t there now. Confused, she looked over to see Shizuka currently being restrained from leaving.
“We’re very sorry mam, but it’s too dangerous!”, one of the evacuation people said.
“But, my son’s out there!”, Shizuka replied, near tears.
In Oracle town…
Misaki sighed after a long day of battling trainers. She lounged on her coach at her and Shin’s house with Assista Eevee on her lap. Shin was in the kitchen cooking something while Misaki was flipping through the channels. Suddenly her phone started ringing and she picked it up.
“Hello.”, Misaki said into the phone before her eyes widened and froze at whatever she heard from it.
“Is something wrong Misaki?”, Shin asked, holding a spatula.
Misaki sweated nervously with a concerned look. She turned over to Shin.
“A massive storm hit Sanctuary town! And Aichi’s gone!”, Misaki replied as Shin’s eyes widened.
Somewhere...
Kai said down in a chair with his arms crossed.
“Team Asteroid has been quiet. Too quiet. Just what are they planning?”, Kai thought.
He walked outside looking out at the water. He had a feeling something big was going on and he didn’t know what.
“Is something on your mind Kai?”, Kai turned to see someone walking up to him.
He had very spiky black hair lined with red and blonde bangs. He had purple eyes and was rather short. He wore a blue jacket with a black shirt and blue pants. He wore a strange upside down pyramid shaped necklace on a chain with an eye symbol.
Kai said nothing simply looking back at the water as the teen? Boy? Came to his side. He sweat dropped as Kai ignored him. He pressed his fingers together trying to think of something to say. He noticed a translucent figure by his side who looked like him, but much taller by his side looking out in the distance.
Later in Kakusa...
Though, they didn’t usually hold one today a meeting was held. After all, their champion was missing. Their spirits looked rather low.
“As you all know our champion Sendou Aichi is now missing. We believe that the sudden storm may have been an attack from Team Asteroid. The government has decided to fortify defenses and create more evacuation areas in case of another attack.”, Takuto informed grimly with Ultra Rare by his side.
Kourin frowned desperately trying to mask her worry for the blue-haired boy.
“So, what do we do now?”, Kyou asked.
There was silence. They didn’t really know how to answer that question. If Aichi was really defeated how much could they really do?
“We’ve got to find Aichi.”, Misaki said, breaking the silence.
“That would be a wild Psyduck chase. We have no idea where he is. And we can’t use too much manpower to find him or we’ll be left defenseless.”, a man in a suit said.
“What if it’s a small team? Like two or three people.”, Misaki asked.
“That’s fine I guess. But who would we even send?”, the man in a suit replied.
“I know someone who would like to help.”, Misaki replied.
Later in Gold Maine city…
Kamui laughed in triumph over his opponent as Kaiser let out a roar. He now wore a black zipped up jacket with orange bits and an orange symbol. He had on jeans and Poké balls hung from his belt.
“Anyone want anymore?”, Kamui asked.
“Wohoo! You're really the best Kamui!” “Kamui the great yo!”, two kids around Kamui’s age cheered one had a green ponytail with yellow and glasses. The other had shorter brown hair and green eyes.
Kamui looked over as he saw a familiar person walk in. It was Misaki.
“Hey, Misaki! What’s up? Wanna rematch?”, Kamui asked, before he noticed the serious expression on Misaki’s face.
“Is something wrong?”, Kamui asked.
“Yeah. Aichi’s gone and I need your help.”, Misaki said as Kamui gasped in shock.
The other two with Kamui looked rather nervous at the news that the champion of the region was missing. What would happen to Kakusa now? Would it be taken over like the last time their champion went missing? And just where was Aichi?
Somewhere? Sometime?
Aichi coughed up some water.
“003v! 003v!”, a young Oliver called out.
“Where am I?”, Aichi? 003v? Thought.
He was on the ground covered in water. He cracked open his eyes looking over to Oliver trying to wake him up. In the distance was a Empoleon sweating nervously. It looked rather fidgety.
“Wasn’t I doing something before?”, Aichi? 003v? Thought confusedly.
He sat up and Oliver put his hand on his shoulders.

Part 2 Part 4
Master post
Words: 2,417
Summery: 'Just below their room sat a few tipped over metal garbage cans, something small and dark looking in all of them, sniffing. It's tail sank down in disappointment as it backed out the last one, not finding what it was looking for, and Thomas couldn't help but gasp.
The pokemon heard as it's head head shot up, ears pricked in fear as it stared back. Roman flicked his tail against Thomas' arm as the Eevee felt something, something he knew the trainer would be feeling as well. Thomas flinched as his mind snapped back in place, ready to call to the creature, but it was already running back into the forest.
And in a matter of moments, the dark furred Eevee was out of sight.'
Making it through half a forest usually means a bit of rest is deserved, right?
Well of course, until you see another soul piece outside your window.
Now, how are we going to befriend this one? Flower crowns? Patton is on the job

Thomas smiled as the path below his feet broke the tree cover, placing him and his team in a large clearing. He did love camping out in the woods, the wind whistling songs throughout the night and the stars danced above, but something about sleeping in an actual bed brought home back.
He stared at the Pokecenter that (from what he read) laid near the middle of the woods, meaning they where about half way through. The sun was still up yes, but was silently sinking closer to disappearing below the thick tree tops.
"Come on, almost there" he reassured Patton who, unlike Roman and Logan who where walking on either side of Thomas, laid across the trainers shoulders, attempting to stay awake either till they reach the Pokecenter or a campsite was set up. Thankfully for the silver Eevee, they entered and booked a room in a matter of minutes. Thomas softly set him down on the bed, slipping off his glasses as Logan jumping up next to the human, giving him a 'thank you' chirp as he pawed off his own pair before curling around his partner. Thomas had to bite his lip to stop the squeal trying to erupt at the soft cuddles, the slightly larger dark silver Eevee laying a tail over the other, heads set next to each other as purrs erupted.
Thomas sat on the bed as he pet Roman, who had plopped into his lap after the trainer had changed into pajamas. The two Eevees had been a part of his team for some time now, Logan even assisting with the last gym battle. He glanced happily at the sleeping two, glad that they felt the connection as strong as Thomas did.
The quiet spell though was brokens as a few quiet sounds of metal on metal crashed outside his second story room. Thomas blinked in confusion, Roman paddling curiously behind the trainer as he opened and looked out the window.
Just below their room sat a few tipped over metal garbage cans, something small and dark looking in all of them, sniffing.
And in a matter of moments, the dark furred Eevee was out of sight.
______________________________
Thomas stared tiredly onto his breakfast plate, touched as much as Thomas had slept last night. So, naturally, the plate was basically still full.
Roman was having the same issue, eating a bit before leaving the bowl of pokefood to the other two.
Neither could get their minds off the dark Eevee as it dashed back into the forest, obvious fear fueling each limb. They explained what they saw to Logan and Patton, but the shinies hadn't had that much contact with other pokemon, let alone an Eevee in a different forest.
They packed up and, after thanking the Nurse Joy, continued back into the forest.
Thomas' mind flicked back to last night, remembering the Eevee had ran away this direction. He wondered if the Eevee had a home out here, or if it was running back to the town. If it was the second option, the kiddo had a long two day journey ahead.
Roman nuzzled his cheek in understanding, Patton giving a small chirp of reassurement from his other shoulder. He felt Logan brush against his leg in comfort, feeling the anxiety come off in waves.
"Thanks guys" he laughed, giving Roman and Patton a few skritches, feeling Logan hop up onto his messenger bag. He gave a few to Logan before continuing down the path,
not noticing the violet eyes carefully watch the trainer walk away. A skitter of paws, and the curious pokemon followed.
______________________________
Thomas giggled as a purring Roman attempted to playfully swipe at a Butterfree, failing by a couple of feet as the Butterfree just fluttered higher. During their walk through the woods an enormous field of flowers caught their attention and before he knew what was happening, Patton was already playfully bouncing through them.
It was a wonderful sight, emerald green grass poked between hundreds of thousands of flowers, the rainbow spectrum shining off every petal. Delicate green stems dug into the rich soul as Butterfree, Combee, Cutiefly, and so many others drank nectar and fluttered in the sun. Zigzagoon, Oddish, Rattata, and more species of pokemon hopped around in the bright sun shining happily, gladly playing with Roman and Patton. A bright blue sky shone upon Thomas and Logan as they sat watching the others, soft white puffy clouds lazily drifted away by a warm breeze.
Since night had not been far off from the horizon as they found the place, Thomas set up the tent by a crystal blue pond as the Eevee's went around assuring they meant no harm. The stars shone brightly as more nocturnal pokemon came out, Thomas even catching Logan laying down on a large rock right by the ponds edge, staring wistfully at the sky as stars reflected in water. It was so peaceful Thomas had stop and watch as not a single ripple disturbed the water, waxing crescent moon shining far above, draping its light across the dark silver Eevee's fur.
Logan was still out there as Thomas fell asleep, but by morning was curled up on Thomas' chest with Patton and Roman.
Patton pawed at leaves from Oddish's head "so these are plants, but they've always been there?" He wondered, fascinated. The Oddish giggled and nodded as they heard a Vileplume call for its family. The little one hopped away, waving a leaf in goodbye and Patton chirped one back. He looked around exited, now who should he play with next-
Gray eyes met Violet.
Patton stared at the Eevee, remembering the description Thomas gave them
"It was dark outside, but over the trashcans there was a light. It looked like a dark brown furred Eevee, not a shiny dark grey like Logan but a darker Roman. I swear I saw saw Violet eyes stare back before it ran off."
Before the Eevee could repeat its actions Patton bounced happily over to it "hi!" He greeted excitedly.
"U-uh hi" the Eevee mumble shyly, shrinking back.
Patton took no offense "do you wanna play?" He asked, surprising the other "or pick flowers? Oh, or I can teach you how to make flower crowns! I was teaching Roman but he had kinda a hard time with it" the Eevee looked conflicted, not wanting to sadden the Pokepuff in front of him, but..
He glanced at Thomas "um.. sure, but c-can we stay away from the trainer?" Patton saddened only for a moment, before perking back up. He had wanted to introduce the Eevee to the others, but it was still a wild pokemon, and even most of the wild pokemon out playing with the Eevees stayed away from the human.
"Sure!" The Eevee seemed to relax a bit, following Patton to a patch of purple, light blue, red, and indigo flowers. He saw that Thomas noticed them, but was staying away with a smile.
"By the way, I'm Patton" he commented, showing the Eevee how to braid the stems together with their paws and teeth. Eevee looked up from a purple and light blue crown that was going well "you have a name? Does your trainer know?" "Oh, he gave me the name. He asked if I wanted one, and I liked it!" Patton grabbed another red flower, skillfully weaving it in "I think he asked Roman if he wanted a name too, when they first met" Patton flicked his tail to the bandanna wearing Eevee, currently pawing at the water in curiosity. Hearing his name, he popped up and looked around, only for his gaze to lock onto the dark furred Eevee in excitement.
He bounded over "hey!" He greeted, softly tapping Patton's head, who giggled in reply.
He plopped down next the silver Eevee, curiously staring as the dark furred Eevee shrunk in a little more. Patton sighed, flicking his tail at Roman as he returned to his flower crown "Roman, it's rude to stare" the Eevee blinked, not even realizing the action he was doing as he was enchanted by the others unique eyes.
After a bit, Patton sprang up holding his flower crown in his mouth, yet.. it seemed too big to fit on an Eevee. "Be right back" his muffled voice told the two as he trotted over to the trainer.
Eevee glanced up at Roman, who was uncurling having taken a nap against Patton, before turning to finish his flower crown to avoid eye connection. He'd never been good with others since.. her, only connecting with his family, like their souls were somehow connected. But then..
He remembered falling into a crate as he attempted to grab an apple, and then another crate being placed on top. He remembered hearing the cries of his family as the truck drove off, watching his family shrink smaller and smaller through a hole as the truck zoomed faster and faster.
As the crate opened to air he leapt out, only to appear into a place he didn't know. He'd realized at that moment he had to search for them find them again, running off before a human could grab his scruff. He could lose them, he couldn't lose his past.
He tied the last flower in place as Patton came back, only..
He froze as the human sat down next to Roman, now wearing a familiar flower crown. Another Eevee sat next to Patton, curiously tilting his head at the wild pokemon.
"Hey kiddo" the human spoke softly, as though sorry if he scared the Eevee. Ha, a trainer being sorry "just wanted to say hi, I didn't know why you ran off the other night so I was a bit worried" his voice sounded genuine, perhaps even happy for something, but Eevee didn't know if it was true.
Something though, for the first time, told him it was.
The new Eevee blinked behind his glasses "I see Patton has taught you how to make those flower crowns. An impressive feet for someone to learn with paws" Eevee shuffled to a sitting position "its not.. that good" he mumbled, poking the messy braided flowers.
"But it is!" Patton cried, jumping up causing Eevee to jolt back in fear "sorry" he apologized. "Really it is" the mystery Eevee commented, blinking as he realized something "I'm Logan by the way."
"More like Logay" Roman muttered "though truly, you did a splendid job. In all my attempts I haven't achieved the ability to even braid two flowers together" Eevee nodded, shyly but curiously looking at the trainer. He stayed quiet, legs crossed grinning like a Chansey until the Eevee's eyes met his.
"I'm guessing at least Logan introduced himself" he laughed "I'm Thomas" Eevee nodded, conflicted feelings raging inside.
"Hey bud, do you have a name?" The Eevee blinked in shock, needing the ground. He couldn't help but drop his ears as he shook his head, a tad ashamed. Thomas just smiled encouragingly "would you like one?"
Yes. He couldn't lie, he'd always wanted a name, but never felt the courage to name himself or admit this fact.
"you have a name? Does your trainer know?" "Oh, he gave me the name. He asked if I wanted one, and I liked it!"
But this trainer.. he had asked before he named the others. He could have forced one, whether they wanted it or not. Maybe..
Slowly, he nodded.
"Alright hmm.." Thomas seemed to actually think hard, as if this was the biggest decision he'd ever make.
What if it was really bad? What if he didn't like it but the trainer wanted to keep it so he was forced to know that that was his name for all existence? What if because of this the trainer would say he belongs to him now and force captures him and-
"Do you like the name Virgil?"
The Eevee stared. Virgil.. Virgil.. he..
Virgil looked up and nodded.
Thomas smiled, giggling a bit. He instinctively went to go pet Virgil, but stopped his hand. No, that wasn't his pokemon, and the poor little one acted extremely frightened.
"Sorry" he sheepishly apologized, thankful his hand didn't get far enough to scare the Eevee. It blinked at him before picking up a purple and blue flower crown. Huh, Patton must have shown him how.
And sure enough, the small Eevee cautiously walked forward, placing the flower crown on the light gray Eevee. It backed away and chirped, before turning away to the forest, yet..
It seemed to struggle, as though unable to move a paw away. Virigl shook his head before flicking his tail in goodbye, dashing off into the forest.
The Eevee's around him cried out at Thomas, wondering why the trainer let the pokemon leave, but Thomas just smiled.
"I know he'll come back" he softly said to no one in particular, the Eevee's looking at him in curiosity. He lifted his head up, staring as a small cloud passed above.
"It's his choice if he'll join, but I know it. Our puzzle piece will come back."
The purple eyed Eevee watched the team pack up, laughing together as Roman one last time inspected the water and Logan pushed him in. Virgil skirted around the pond, dashing to the other side of the forest, watching the team finish and continued walking down the path.
They didn't notice the dark furred Eevee follow from the shadows, connected souls carving his path.
'I've lost my past' he couldn't help but think, watching the team exit the forest. He darted after them, watching the team enter a Pokecenter. He curled in the shadows next to the building, front doors in view. Because he knew, somewhere in him, that this connection was to strong to run from. He didn't want to run from it. He smiled for the first time in a long time, curling up. 'Yes, I've lost my past
but found my future."

Title - “An Alternate Journey”
Summary - Eleven year old novice trainer Misty starts her Pokemon adventure, best friends Gary and Ash by her side. But will she withstand every test her travels throw at her and become the greatest master trainer of all time? Fic co-crafted with famous fan-artist, Miyatoriaka!
Ages - Misty and Leaf are eleven years old, Ash and Gary are thirteen, and the adults are adult-aged so who cares about ‘em? Lol.
Chapter One - Gastly
OoOoO
Four days. Four days and five nights. That’s how long their group had been trapped in the god-forsaken Viridian Forest.
Ash sighed in resignation, grabbing his faded and dusty backpack and tossing it over one shoulder, eyeing a nearby Caterpie as it wriggled its way up the fir pine tree stretching to the sky before it, then began to kick dirt onto the campfire he and Gary had made the night before.
He’d walked through this very same forest a hundred times before over the course of the past few years, trekked the same path, saw the same cluster upon cluster of trees… Ash Ketchum knew Viridian Forest like the back of his hand and one thing he could say about this place was that it was b-o-r-i-n-g.
The place was a natural breeding center for bug-type Pokemon, which he couldn’t help but resent with a passion due to their advantage against grass-type Pokemon; his favorite type. However this information didn’t stop Misty from trying to keep their group there as long as possible while she attempted to catch them all, almost constantly switching paths on a dime and getting them turned around and confused.
Did he say he knew this forest like the back of his hand? Well, he meant he knew the relatively straight path connecting Viridian to Pewter City. As for all of the other ones that slowly formed after decades had passed, he had no idea. The map was a little outdated and pretty rough and generalized to begin with. It was almost impossible to read sometimes unless one of them (Gary) woke up early enough to catch which way the sun was rising from and used that knowledge to decipher which direction was North.
“Please, please tell me today is the day we finally get out of here,” Ash groaned, halfheartedly gazing in the direction of his friends.
“Who knows?” Gary replied cryptically, averting his gaze to the sky.
“No way! That bug catcher I battled last night had a Pinsir and he said he caught it around here!” Misty practically shouted in exuberance, twisting on her heel and facing a nearby group of bushes as if expecting the very same Pokemon species to come leaping out of them, ripe for the catching.
“Misty, c’moooon…” Ash whined, “We’ve been stuck here for over half a week! You’re already a year or so behind your class of licensed trainers! Are you really going to spend a whole nother one weeding out Viridian Forest?!”
The redhead merely pouted in return, causing Ash to avert his gaze to avoid any slight pinch of guilt she was pressuring him to feel. The moment was interrupted almost immediately by a nearby tree rustling, and the whole lot of them stiffened in expectation, Misty and Eevee ready to hop on the offensive at a moment’s notice.
A Rattata scrambled down the trunk and wound itself in the opposite direction of the group of adolescents with a bramble covered in leaves and berries clenched in its teeth.
Misty sighed, disappointed, kneeling to pat Eevee, ruffling her fringe in thanks for her effort in being proactive towards their goals.
“Just a Rattata, huh…? Well we’ve already caught one of those anyway.”
“As much as I hate to admit it, Ashy-boy may be on to something,” Gary chimed in from the background.
“Wha’d’ya mean?”
“We should have arrived in Pewter City last night at the latest. We’re running low on food and Pokemon supplies. If we don’t get out of here by tomorrow morning, we’ll probably be completely out,” the auburn-haired gym trainer warned them all, sobering up Misty’s former mood rather impressively.
“Ah… okay, fine then, I guess we’ll try and figure something out.”
“I mean, no matter what, we’re still lost, right?” Ash asked, choosing to ignore his old friend’s jab from before.
“Hmm…” The redhead responded cautiously, deep in thought. “Maybe Pidgey would be able to fly high enough to see which way we should go?” And she removed the Pokeball from her belt and showed it to her friends.
“Maybe,” Gary begrudgingly agreed, “but, then again, you caught him just outside of Pallet Town so he doesn’t know this area well, plus you’ve barely bonded with him so he might be unwilling to help you out with something like this, and he might have trouble tracking his way back to us. Not to mention Pidgey aren’t very fast until after they’ve grown some or evolved and yours is pretty young.”
“Okay, but that’s our only real option other than wandering around and hoping to find the exit or running into another trainer who can help us out, right? So…” Ash wondered aloud.
“Well, I’m okay with staying here!” Misty replied, hands clasped before her and then she punched one enthusiastically up into the air.
“Of course you are,” the raven-haired trainer deadpanned.
“I guess we’ll go with Plan B, which is terrible but still somehow slightly better than Plan A.”
“So should we bother stopping for lunch when the time comes or keep walking?” Misty asked.
“Like I said, we’re kinda low on supplies. It would probably be best to skip lunch if we can and just have a slightly early dinner. Then we might have some leftovers to snack on in the morning if we’re still lost and haven’t found anyone to help us out.”
“Yeah, maybe I’ll be able to get some training in with Pidgey and Rattata while we look around! We gotta beef up for our first gym match anyway, right? And maybe I’ll catch a Pinsir after all!”
So, settled on that plan, the group of four began ambling around, mostly sticking to the current path unless they happened to run into another that traveled straighter, since that one would more likely get them further faster. Every once in awhile one of them would step a short distance away to see if they’d run into another trainer but there didn’t seem to be anyone else around.
Evening fell swiftly, the wind picking up enough to rustle the trees and distract them from their mission. When the group decided there was too little sunlight left to tell where they were going, they finally chose to set up camp instead.
“Hey, guys, I think I’m gonna keep training nearby. I’ll come back right away if I run into someone who can help us find a way out of here,” Misty took the opportunity to say.
“By the way,” Ash brought up after exchanging a particular knowing glance with Gary, “it’s great and all that you wanna get to know and train up your Pokemon and I get that your choices have been kinda limited so far, but you might wanna think about expanding your team beyond normal and bug types. The first gym uses rock-type Pokemon so nothing you’ve caught so far is gonna stand much chance.”
“Yeah, a water or fighting type would do you some good but they’re kinda scarce in this area. Maybe you can find a grass-type?”
“See?” Ash said smugly, “This is why you should have bred your starter using my Ivysaur instead of his Eevee! That woulda given you a good head start, huh?”
“But your Bulbasaur is so picky!” Misty replied skeptically, hands on her hips. “If I’d chosen to breed my first Pokemon with you, I would have probably been stuck waiting five years instead of one!” A moment later and she knelt down to Eevee, who was sitting beside her, patting and scratching her affectionately behind the ears. “Plus I wouldn’t trade my Eevee for anything!”
Ash, put out somehow for reasons he couldn’t quite place by her response, turned away and plopped his backpack on the ground.
“Anyway, we’ll start working on dinner--”
“--Who’s ‘we’?” Gary replied dryly, “You can’t cook any better than her--”
“--so just head back in about an hour or so.”
“Gotcha!”
And she and her Pokemon disappeared further into the woods.
The rest of the evening went by rather smoothly. Misty returned at the given time with no luck of finding them an escape route and she and Ash joined Gary for dinner, before taking on their responsibility of washing the pot and dishware they’d used. Dusk turned to complete dark and, with a few attempts at rekindling the fire, the group prepared to turn in for the night, hoping against hope that they’d indeed find their way to Pewter City by the next afternoon.
However there was one thing Misty had to ask before the night was through.
“Hey, Ash?” Misty asked curiously as she drew her hairbrush through a thick lock of red.
“Hmm…?” The response sounded somewhat lethargic from the other side of the fire.
“Can we have a practice battle?”
“Wait, what?” He seemed much more alert in retaliation to that question. “Do you mean right now?”
“Well, maybe not now,” she corrected, sitting down in her sleeping bag and tossing the brush unceremoniously back into her bag. “But tomorrow? I’ve beaten every bug catcher and wild Pokemon I’ve come up against. I - we - could use some more challenging experience,” she finished, eyeing Eevee asleep beside her as she skillfully maneuvered herself into her sleeping bag without jostling the Pokemon awake. “We should be in town by tomorrow afternoon and then I’ll be having… my first gym battle, right…?” she finished with a yawn, laying back and blinking blearily up at the crescent moon shining above her.
She could barely make it out beyond the canopy of the forest.
“Well, I mean, I am a gym trainer myself, and you wouldn’t usually fight me until later on,” he told her proudly, sitting up and puffing out his chest. “If you’re worried about having a hard time against your first gym leader, I doubt battling me is gonna help make matters easier for ya!”
The raven-haired gym trainer laughed egotistically to himself for the next minute or so, Gary choosing to ignore him in lieu of throwing himself into his own sleeping bag for the night. Of course, after enough time had passed, Ash realized he hadn’t garnered any response and craned his neck to try and get a look at his female companion from across the campfire.
“Misty…?”
Still nothing.
“Hey, Misty!” he tried again, tone sharp. There was no way she was already--
“--Asleep,” Gary noted with a shrug. “Such a shame too, Ashy-boy. She missed your oh-so chivalrous moment of braggery.”
“Whatever,” the other boy scoffed, turning his nose up and hoping the flickering fire didn’t do anything to highlight the awkward flush on his face, and both of them laid back and tried to sleep.
It was some time later when Misty snapped awake, the light of the full moon too much to ignore… or maybe it was the pearl white of the fog that had set in during the couple of hours she’d been asleep…?
She sat up in her sleeping bag, the zipper coming automatically undone as she did so. Eevee felt her trainer stir and began to wake as well, rising up onto all fours and stretching, leaning in and licking the human’s hand.
“Eevee eev?”
“Ah, sorry to wake you, girl. I just… I’m just thirsty, I guess,” the redhead said, licking her dry lips and clearing her throat as she looked around for her canteen.
Something in the air seemed strange. Different. She couldn’t make out much of anything definitive in her surroundings. The smoldering of the cinders in the campfire seemed to fade right before her eyes as she stood up, slipping on her sneakers and bending down to tie them.
Where was it…? Where was her canteen? Where was her bag of supplies and her Pokebelt and… where was…
The question faded from her head, evaporating like the white of the fog before her.
“Eevee, let’s look around some, okay?” she asked warily of her Pokemon partner.
“Eevee!” the normal-type responded confidently and the two of them began their trek.
It seemed the world grew a degree colder with every step and their unknown destination farther, their sights dimmer. They were getting everywhere and nowhere at once, walking neck deep in white nothingness looking for the first thing they could find that would indicate a change.
“I - it’s really cold now…” Misty murmured from between chattering teeth. “Shoulda brought my jacket with me.”
Right, her jacket, which had been sitting folded next to her shoes when she slept. So she could just turn around and walk back the way she’d come from to find it, she figured, turning on her heel, then coming to a sudden stop at the sight before her.
It was her sleeping bag, laid out just as it had been before, barely two feet away.
Something didn’t add up. Something wasn’t right.
Misty sighed, growing agitated, throwing her head back as she groaned, the full moon above her shining so clearly and nothing - no trees, no clouds, nothing at all - blocking it from view. The same with her sleeping bag, it was the only clear item she could make out for miles, and it seemed almost hypnotic because of that contrast.
“Eevee…” Misty whispered, though she trailed off almost immediately.
“Eevee? Eev eevee eev!”
The cries of her Pokemon seemed so far away, and it took too much effort to look down. She just kept staring at that smoky full moon.
Wait… smoky…?
“... isty…?”
And why was the moon... suddenly full…?
“Misty?”
“Eevee?” her Pokemon chirped from far away.
Wasn’t it a quarter moon when she’d first fallen asleep?
“Eevee, have you seen my… my bag? And do you hear that? Who’s calling my name?”
“Misty, snap out... it!”
“Why does the moon look… so… so full?”
As soon as the final word left her lips, all of the vibrant white and cold and fog whirled away, sucked instantaneously into an invisible rift. Everything became much louder all at once, disorienting her, and she realized the fogginess had been inside her own head, as though she were ailing with fever.
She inhaled sharply, swaying on her feet, but everything that had been missing, that she’d been looking for, that she otherwise hadn’t been able to figure out, came back to her so swiftly that it almost hurt.
“Eevee! Ash! Gary! My--”
“You finally woke up!” Ash exclaimed in relief, at her side and a hand on her shoulder. “We were worried. You’ve been staring at the sky for the past twenty minutes. We didn’t know what was happening!”
“I was what?” the redhead replied tiredly, holding a hand up to her forehead and drawing away a sheer layer of sweat. It had felt at the time like she’d jogged an entire marathon…
“What happened to me?”
“Don’t know,” Gary told her, on her other side and handing her canteen over so she could sip some water. It was at this point that Misty noticed her backpack and jacket sitting just where she’d left them beside her sleeping bag. “Like Ash said, you got up a little while ago, I heard you do that and woke up to you putting your shoes on, and then you just stopped and started staring at the moon. Eevee and I tried calling out to you but you didn’t seem to hear us. That’s what woke Ash up. It was almost like you were hypnotized.”
“Hypnotized…” the other two trainers quoted unanimously, though Ash sounded a lot tenser all of a sudden.
“That wasn’t the moon! I think that was a--”
And Misty dived for her bag, fishing out her Pokedex and flipping it open by pushing the small button on the side.
“Pokedex searching… Pokedex searching…” the mechanical voice tweeted, and the digital display indicated via arrows which direction she should face with it.
“Misty, you think it was a Pokemon that did… whatever it did to you?”
“Eevee eev eev eevee!” her starter shouted, leaning onto her haunches as if to say she was ready for a fight.
“Well it’s not like I usually just stand still and stare indefinitely into space, is it?” the redhead bit back more harshly than she meant to.
“One unknown Pokemon found,” her Pokedex chimed in before Ash could come up with his own witty retort to her comment.
“Unknown, huh? Doesn’t really help us much, does it?”
“Unknown Pokemon in Viridian Forest in the middle of the night? Well, I doubt it’s a legendary…” Gary commented, leaning forward and taking her Pokedex into his hands.
“A legendary?” she replied blankly.
“A really, really strong Pokemon,” Ash explained warily. “Usually having to do with local folklore and usually very rare, like one-of-a-kind rare.”
“Ooh…”
“But it’s probably definitely not one of those. The chances that they’d just show themselves to a bunch of random trainers like this are highly unlikely. More likely it’s a Pokemon you haven’t seen yet and that’s hiding its identity from us for whatever reason, like maybe a ghost-type?” Gary concluded.
“A ghost-type?!” Misty shouted in glee, on her feet again so quickly that both of her male companions were blown backwards by the maneuver.
As soon as Ash made it to his feet again, he scurried back to his sleeping bag, peeking his head out at the others as sweat began to pour from his brow.
“A g - ghost-type Pokemon?! You’re joking, right?!” he yelped, shaking like a leaf, creeping away from their group in sudden obvious terror.
“Uuh… okay…?” Misty commented in confusion at his response to the possibility.
“You didn’t know?” Gary asked absently, still flipping through her Pokedex from his spot on the ground. “Ash is scared of ghost-type Pokemon.”
“He is?”
“I - I’m not! I just…” And, with much more effort than it should have taken, the raven-haired trainer slithered his way out of his sleeping bag, ambling shakily to a standing position, “... don’t like them! Everyone’s allowed to have something they don’t like, aren’t they?”
“Well, yeah, but…”
“While I’m impressed that you’ve been able to hide your phobia from Misty for the past three years or so… here ya go,” Gary finished with a proud smirk, tossing Misty’s Pokedex back into her arms. “These are the only ghost-types native to Kanto. Chances are it’s one of them.”
“Really? Thanks!” Misty replied, looking over the profile photos one after another. “Let’s see… Gengar…”
Flip.
“... Haunter…”
Flip.
“... And Gastly.”
She paused on the last image on her screen, taking in the Pokemon’s perfectly round physical form and the dark, poisonous smog floating around it.
“I think this is it!” she exclaimed, brows furrowing as her lips curled into a smirk, belying her confidence.
“Gastly, come out of hiding already! It’s game over!” she shouted, picking up her Pokebelt and snapping it into place behind her waist, smashing her cap onto her head and preparing for battle.
There was a poof of smoldering dark and a hollow echoing chuckle from above her, the small gassy Pokemon floating down to eye level with the trainer who’d unraveled his ruse.
“Gastly gaaas…!” he howled in laughter.
“Let’s see what the Pokedex has to say…” she murmured, ignoring Ash as he tiptoed stealthily behind her.
There was a high-pitched ping followed by, “Gastly, the gas Pokemon. It is usually invisible to the human eye. Its specialty is its hypnosis.”
“Sounds familiar…” the redhead begrudgingly admitted to herself, doing her best (and failing) to ignore Ash’s fingernails digging into her arms every time the ghost-type Pokemon floated to and fro. “Wait, is that all you have to say?!” she screeched at her Pokedex, shaking it hard, frantic tears running from her squinting eyes.
“By enveloping larger opponents with gas, Gastly is able to defeat them.”
“Okaaay…” Misty ground out, withdrawing the small device for the time being. “I guess we’re just gonna have to figure it out as we go, right, Eevee?” And she smiled confidently at her Pokemon before throwing out an arm and pointing forward. “Let’s battle! Eevee, tackle!”
Her Pokemon barked its own name in agreement, leaping into the fray, but the moment was interrupted almost immediately by Gary’s wisdom.
“Actually, normal-type moves won’t have any effect on ghost-type Pokemon.”
“Wait, what?” the redhead squeaked.
Eevee, who’d already began dashing full speed at her opponent, attempted her straight-forward assault only to pass completely through Gastly and land on all fours in a patch of dirt behind it.
“So what do I do?”
“Run away really fast and never get involved with a ghost Pokemon again?” Ash practically whimpered into her ear, leading Misty to scoff and shake him off.
There was another familiar ping from her pocket. She scrambled to remove her Pokedex from within, watching as her Eevee leapt to and fro around a still jovial Gastly, which was poofing in and out of sight, sometimes creeping up from behind.
“Although Gastly’s amorphous body allows it to sneak around almost anywhere, it’s practically weightless physique means it can be easily blown away by the wind.”
“Yeah, that! Let’s do that!” Ash shouted emphatically.
“I don’t wanna blow it away, I wanna catch it!”
“Still, seems like flying attacks are your best bet either way,” Gary sagely advised. “Now might be a good time to call out your Pidgey. You said you wanted to train him up some, right?”
“Okay, okay…” Misty sighed, putting her Pokedex away one last time and grasping to the left of her belt for that particular Pokeball. “Eevee, come back! Come on out, Pidgey!”
A lot of things seemed to happen all at once. Eevee indeed returned to her side just as Pidgey took swiftly to the air in a flash of red light. Misty naturally thanked her starter for keeping the ghost-type busy while she came up with her next strategy, and Gastly… Gastly, rather than looking even mildly wary or panicked over having to face an opponent that could potentially do some damage, seemed instead to be despondent over the fact that its original playmate had retreated.
“Pidgey, use your gust!”
The flying-type Pokemon dived down then swooped back into a vertical stance, using his wings to suspend himself in mid-air. His flapping grew more and more intense until the campfire light began to flicker and dirt bellowed up into a gritty smog.
Gastly did its best to stand its ground against its adversary but to no avail, its gaseous cover beginning to fade into the dark of the night, and even its orb-like body starting to spin on its axis as it began blowing away.
Finally, with one last wrenching rotation of its core and a few attempts of phasing out from between the windy gusts, Gastly vanished with a final decidedly less jolly wail of its name.
“Aaah, no! I said I wanted to catch it!” Misty cried with a stomp of her foot, fists clenched at her sides. “Shoot! Who knows when o - or even if I’ll see another ghost-type!”
Pidgey flew back to his trainer, who offered him a half-hearted thanks, and Ash finally seemed to calm down and regain his steady footing. Gary stepped forward too with some surprisingly wise words.
“Well, whether you caught it or chased it off, coming out on top of a ghost-type Pokemon this early in your career as a trainer says a lot about your skill.”
“And I’m just glad you took my advice and blew that thing away!”
Misty, originally smiling in kind to Gary’s compliment, scowled and muttered, “I wasn’t trying to! I didn’t know Pidgey’s gust would be so strong…”
And, grim expression set upon her face, she took one firm step forward and cupped her hands around her mouth before shouting into the very early morning sky…
“I wish you’d come back, Gastly!”
“Gaaaastly…” the Pokemon in question drawled from out of nowhere, popping into existence beside the group of trainers.
“Ah! You really came back!” Misty yelped, equal parts shocked and excited.
“Gaaaas…” the ghost Pokemon continued to sulk, not looking at her, floating stiffly away.
Ash, who’d done well standing like a granite statue with his lips pursed over the past several seconds, began tiptoeing away from the group again.
“This is pretty surprising. Either Gastly is stronger than we thought or else maybe he just really didn’t wanna leave,” Gary noted, hand to his chin in thought.
“Hmm… Or maybe both...”
Misty sucked in a breath then cautiously took a step towards the ghost Pokemon.
“Hey, um, Gastly, were you just trying to have fun with Eevee earlier?”
“Gaaas…!” it replied with a subtle nod, barely looking in her direction.
“And, ‘cause it’s kinda important for me to know, did you mean to hurt me when you used your hypnosis?”
Gastly seemed downright aghast at the accusation.
“Gastly! Gaaastly!” it wailed ashamedly, shaking its round body back and forth as if to say ‘no’.
“So you were just trying to play games and make new friends?”
“Gastly!” was accompanied by another nod.
“Okay then!” the redhead responded with a chipper grin while her audience of a loyal Pidgey, suspicious Ash, and mildly impressed Gary stood in the background. “So, now that I know we’re on the same page, I was thinking…”
“No,” Ash ground out between gritted teeth from somewhere behind her but she ignored him.
“... How about if you…”
“I said no!” the raven-haired gym leader stated more vehemently.
“... join me and my other friends on our journey? I promise you’ll have all sorts of fun and meet tons of new people and Pokemon!” the redheaded novice finished offering.
Gastly blinked at the female human standing before him with everything shy of open arms. Instead she held up a device that he’d seen capture many a wild Pokemon and take them away in the past, though he had to admit that the overall proposition seemed rather inviting… He looked at the Eevee on all fours at her master’s feet, alternating between nuzzling the human’s leg and sitting back, tail wagging affectionately.
Next his eyes were automatically drawn to the other two humans standing behind the first, the brown-haired one sporting a smug grin while the last one had the air that many other humans had expressed when he’d snuck up on them for a game of peek-a-boo in the past…
Altogether they seemed like a well-rounded and diverse group… Yes, he might like to call it home, a place at their sides.
“Gastly!” he finally responded with a nod and a toothy smile.
“Really? You’ll come?” Misty gasped in glee, holding up the empty Pokeball she’d been carrying. “Yay! So do you mind if I catch you now?”
The ghost-type shook his head and waited willingly for his own capture, disappearing with a poof and a residual red light. The Pokeball shook once… twice… before the button at its center blinked from scarlet to white and it went still.
“Oh my gosh, I did it! I caught a Gastly!” the redhead shouted, dancing forward on the balls of her feet before leaning down to pick up her newest team acquisition. “And without further ado, Gastly, I choose you!”
The ghost-type reappeared in another flash of red and he, his trainer, Pidgey, and Eevee all jumped up and down together in excitement. Afterwards Misty decided to start the formal introductions.
“So you’ve already met Eevee and Pidgey, and there’s Weedle, Metapod, and Rattata too but it might be better to meet them during breakfast later. This guy over here is Gary,” and respective guy offered the new group member a smile before Misty moved on, “aaand that’s Ash over there. Oh, but you might wanna--”
Too late. Misty was going to suggest taking it slow but Gastly had gotten so worked up at the sight of all his new friends that he just couldn’t help himself, vanishing from her side and popping up in Ash’s face with an adoring (or so he was going for, though it came out looking somewhat malicious) expression.
“Gastly!” he said in greeting, and Ash, who’d been petrified in not-fear-nope-definitely-not, leapt first into the air and then back away from the ghost-type.
“Yaaagh! Misty!” the boy yelled at the top of his lungs, scurrying up behind his most recent favorite hiding spot (AKA: Misty’s back). “Make this thing stay away from me or else I swear someone’s gonna die!”
It was unclear if his final statement was a threat or else a paranoid exaggeration of the ghost-type’s powers.
“Hmm…? But he’s so cute!” Misty cooed, blushing with both hands to her cheeks. In response, the ghost-type’s formerly heartbroken expression at Ash’s slights against him mended into something forgiving and tender. “And I’m just so happy that he’s coming with us! Why can’t you be, Ash?”
“What?! This is the exact opposite of what I wanted! Why should I be happy?! I didn’t ask for anything like this!”
“But I’m sure Gastly will be really useful, won’t he?” the redhead continued simpering, “I bet he could easily show us out of this forest!”
The ghost-type nodded affirmatively but anymore conversation was cut short by more wise words a la Gary.
“Yeah, but it might be better to get some more sleep first then head out after the sun comes up. We’ve all only gotten two or three hours.”
“I guess… you’ve got a point!” Misty guffawed before holding up two Pokeballs. “Then we’ll get back to this in a little while! Have a good rest, Pidgey; Gastly!”
After both Pokemon had been successfully returned, Gary stepped up and clapped a hand to her shoulder.
“You did good. I think this may have qualified as your first real tough experience as a trainer. A ghost-type is a good start to building a solid team.”
“Uuh, excuse me?” Ash called out to them, his voice oddly muffled. “I thought we were going to sleep?”
Apparently he’d dived for his sleeping bag as soon as the opportunity was granted to him.
“They guy sure does move fast when he needs to,” Gary lamented with a teasing grin.
OoOoO
Notes - Gastly has a habit of trying to make friends with the Pokemon of random trainers who wander into Viridian Forest. At least, that’s what I was going for. When he used hypnosis on Misty, he meant to just make her fall back into a deep sleep for the rest of the night but there were some unforeseen side-effects. Luckily, he ended up making human friends as well!
The next chapter will be posted within the month. Not sure if it’s gonna be one of the planned chapters to do with the comic or a bonus chapter. Either way, I hope everyone looks forward to it!
Likes are nice and commentary is kind!

Got tagged by @catamarang, @otomeshistarlight, and @thebardisabird! It’s oversharing time!
Name: Irk (not really, but you know, privacy)
Gender: *shrug* DFAB, constantly swinging between “sure, I guess, as long as I’m not expected to uphold certain roles” and “strictly agender thank you very much”. Gender and roles and such confuse the hell out of me, so I try not to think about it too hard a lot of the time.
Star sign: Taurus
Height: 5′2″. I fit inside a pocket
Sexuality: Pan
What image do you have as wallpaper: On my laptop, it’s fanart of Jyushi carrying Ichi on his back. On my phone, it’s Tea Party Ichi from Heso.
Have you ever had a crush on a teacher?: Nope. The majority of my school years were in Catholic school, so a lot of my teachers were old nuns. No thanks.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years: Living with Wren, graduated with my digital communications degree and maybe a lit masters? I’m employed - it doesn’t have to be the most glamorous job in the world, just something that pays enough and that I can handle even with my issues. I have my mental issues somewhat under control, maybe even enough to be capable of driving. I’m hopefully happy by then...
If you could be anywhere else right now, where?: I wanna be in Indiana with Wren damn it. Or maybe at an anime con. Preferably with Wren.
What was your coolest Halloween costume?: Mom altered the pattern for a lion costume to make me an Eevee costume when I was about 9 or so. That was awesome! More recently, I bought costumes for Maka from Soul Eater and Sakura from Cardcaptor Sakura that were for the summer con season and not Halloween, but they made good Halloween costumes anyway. (...and I’ve, uh, grown out of them considerably...)
What’s your favorite 90s show?: I didn’t watch it in the 90′s (I sort of did but hated the dub even then, didn’t pick up the sub until about a decade ago), but Cardcaptor Sakura is one of my favorite anime ever made.
Last kiss?: Back in December, when I had to say goodbye to Wren on our last visit.
Have you ever been stood up?: Nope!
Have you ever been to Las Vegas?: I haven’t, but my grandmother and I occasionally plan what we’d do there if money randomly fell into our laps. It’s a dream trip of hers. We know I probably can’t until I graduate college, though, even if money wasn’t an issue.
Favorite pair of shoes: My sneakers, I guess. I’m not really a big shoe person. Just cover my feet. In summer, I live in sandals, and I do prefer them over my sneakers, so those? But sandals are absolutely not a favorite in March.
Favorite fruit: When they’re in season and super sweet, strawberries! Bananas are also good year-round.
Favorite book: The Enchanted Forest Chronicles by Patricia C. Wrede are a big nostalgic favorite of mine. High school favorites included Wyrd Sisters, Equal Rites, and Carpe Jugulum, all by Terry Pratchett. (In general, my favorite subseries of Discworld was Witches, closely followed by Rincewind.) Recently, I’ve read Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury and Strangers On A Train by Patricia Highsmith for school, and I really liked those. I need to get back to reading actual books for fun, not just fanfic. ...I’m sorry, you said book, singular. I’m not good at this. =P
Stupidest thing you’ve ever done: Oh good lord can we please not
I don’t know who to tag, everyone either got tagged already or I know them by heart already

Pokémon: the Vanguard Descends The Movie: Celebi Lost In Time (Part 4)
“W-we are not s-scared of you!”, the taller one stuttered.
“W-we h-have more than just us h-here!”, the shorter one stuttered.
They suddenly squealed when they had blades to their throats. Aichi held Alfred to the taller one and Ahmes did to the smaller one. Gancelot noted the strange black Poké balls that the rare hunters carried and quickly destroyed them with the staff. The rest of his Pokémon faced the altered Pokémon in battle positions in case they attacked. To their surprise the Pokémon turned back to normal instantly and were free again after the mysterious Poké balls were destroyed. The other rare hunters sweated nervously as the Pokémon then looked very angry at the rare hunters and attacked them.
“Who sent you here?”, Aichi asked.
“W-we’ll never t-tell you! W-we’d rather d-die!”, the taller one replied.
“That can be arranged.”, Alfred said menacingly, hoping to scare them into revealing their secrets.
“O-okay! Okay! We were sent b-“, the shorter one was about to confess.
“S-shut up! Are you insane? Y-you can’t betray the master!”, the taller one interrupted.
“I-I would rather b-be sent to the shadow r-realm than permanently die!”, the shorter one replied.
“A-are you stupid?! T-the shadow realm is w-worse than the d-distortion world and Hell c-combined!”, the taller one replied.
Aichi raised his eyebrow having no idea what the two were talking about.
“Shadow realm…”, Alfred whispered in confusion.
“W-we were sent by-“, the shorter one was cut off again as a watery bullet shot through his chest.
Gancelot jumped distracted by the Pokémon fighting the rare hunters and launched his staff at the source of the shot. Suddenly from where the staff collided a Intellion was visible, which fainted. He then shot a focus blast revealing another.
“Golisopod?! Golisopod?! Golisopod?! Golisopod?! (Woah, how did you know they were there?!)”, Llew questioned.
“Lucario. Lucario. Lucario.Lucario. Lucario. Lucario.Lucario. Lucario. Lucario.Lucario. Lucario. Lucario.Lucario. Lucario. Lucario. (I could sense their aura. Unfortunately I was distracted by the multitude of auras around us so I couldn’t stop them before the attack.)”, Gancelot explained.
“Haxorus. (It’s okay.)”, Soul Saver assured.
“Somebody get a doctor quick!”, Aichi yelled, as he stood over the injured cloaked man.
Nurses from the Pokémon center rushed over to heal the people and Pokémon. The uninjured cloaked man was captured by the Kakusa government who likely wanted answers from him. People were sent to repair the damage caused by the rare hunters. He would be contacted if anymore rare hunters show up.
“Why didn’t you use absolute lock?”, Shuka asked, causing Aichi to raise an eyebrow in confusion.
“What’s absolute lock?”, Aichi asked, as Shuka gasped in shock.
“Uh...it’s your move. How do you not know your own signature move?!”, Shuka questioned awkwardly.
Aichi blinked in confusion.
“I have never heard of that move in my life.”, Aichi replied awkwardly as Shuka face palmed.
“Well...we didn’t even know about any of this stuff till a month ago.”, Emi chuckled awkwardly.
“You know you like...point your finger then... you like...yell ‘absolute lock’.”, Shuka tried to explain.
Aichi looked at his pointer finger and tried to do what she said. He pointed out his finger and focused some of his power.
“Absolute lock!”, Aichi called out.
They all sweat dropped as a massive beam of energy poured out of his finger which he quickly turned to the sky. The clouds in the path were split. Bits of smoke came off of Aichi’s pointer finger. Emi gawked a bit, still not used to her brother being so powerful.
“Is that it?”, Aichi asked.
“Lycanroc. Lycanroc. Lycanroc. Lycanroc. (Nah. Aichi, I think you used spirit gun…)”, Wingal replied.
“N-no...it’s kinda hard to explain since I don’t fully get how it works myself, but it's like...binds things. You know it makes it so something can’t move.”, Shuka explained.
“That makes a lot more sense and sounds pretty useful. I’ll have to figure that out somehow.”, Aichi replied awkwardly as he sweat dropped.
“Gallade. Gallade. Gallade. Gallade. Gallade ...(Good thing you aimed it towards the sky…)”, Ahmes commented.
At night…
Shizuka let Shuka stay with them and she borrowed Emi’s old pajamas. The pajamas we’re a pink onzee. She sat down onto the floor.
“What are you doing down there Shuka? You can sleep in my bed with me.”, Emi said, motioning Shuka to come over.
“There’s no way I could do that…”, Shuka replied, with an embarrassed blush looking down.
Emi was completely oblivious as to why. She looked over to her pillow and grinned. She threw a pillow square at Shuka’s face.
“Don’t be so stiff Shuka! Your a guest here it’s perfectly fine.”, Emi replied as she grinned at Shuka.
Shuka took the pillow off her holding it and pouted at Emi.
“What wanna pillow fight?”, Emi asked as she held up her other pillow.
“Your on!”, Shuka replied.
Emi got off the bed and they hit each other with the pillows. As they did Emi giggled and Shuka ended up joining in.
Later…
Emi had gotten tuckered out from their pillow fight and was now asleep. Shuka blushed a bit nervously as she laid next to Emi under the covers. She looked up to the ceiling having a hard time sleeping.
“I can’t believe they just let me stay here. Mrs. Sendou is really nice. This world is so strange...Having pillow fights. Soba. Going to a normal school. To think Emi and 00-I mean Aichi are able to have a semi-normal life like this...”, Shuka thought as she rubbed her eyes.
She ended up getting out of the bed. She rubbed her eyes and wandered around a bit.
“Maybe something to drink would help.”, Shuka thought.
As she walked around she noticed a very small balcony, like closet size. The light of the moon that creeped from it drew her attention to it. She walked over to the balcony. She looked up at the moon which looked beautiful tonight.
“It’s pretty isn’t it?”, Shuka jumped as she looked over noticing Aichi leaning on the railing to her left.
“Oh, sorry I didn’t mean to scare you.”, Aichi apologized.
“What are you doing up?”, Shuka asked.
“...Just a hard time sleeping. How about you?”, Aichi replied, Shuka looked down as he mentioned that.
“Sorry about before. This is just...all weird to me.”, Shuka replied.
Aichi frowned, noticing how gloomy Shuka looked.
“It isn’t your fault. I’ve...had a hard time sleeping for awhile. Ever since I started to find out about everything. It just keeps me up at night sometimes...thinking about...what if.”, Aichi replied.
“...For what it’s worth your nothing like the 003v I knew. That’s a good thing. You seem much more human.”, Shuka replied as Aichi raised his eyebrow in confusion.
“Human?”, Aichi questioned.
“The 003v I knew was a complete monster. No a devil in a human form. He had no compassion, empathy, fear, or conscience. A complete sociopath in the few hours I’ve known you have shown more humanity than I’ve ever seen from him.”, Shuka explained.
“Even still though...it’s hard not to think about him whenever I look at him...dang it! He’s not the same person, Shuka! (Sigh) This will take some getting used to...it’s not fair to judge him on the actions of a different version of him.”, Shuka thought.
Aichi smiled, seeming a bit reassured by Shuka’s words. However...he briefly frowned.
“I might not be the 003v she knows but...he isn’t completely gone.”, Aichi thought, he quickly returned his smile so Shuka didn’t notice anything amiss.
The next day...
It was Saturday, Emi and Shuka went back to going around town with their guard up from the previous attack. And Aichi...was trying to figure out absolute lock. He kept trying over and over again only to become very exhausted. He sat down as sweat ran down his face.
“We’ll probably have to try it another time. Especially if what the rare hunters said is true.”, Alfred said as Aichi fanned himself and pulled his turtleneck collar back.
“Y-yeah...that’s probably for the be-“, Aichi was saying before he fainted from exhaustion.
Alfred sweat dropped seeing just how far he had pushed himself.
“Now how to get him up without possession...I’ll just get the others.”, Alfred said.
Oracle town…
“Gahhh!!!”, a trainer screamed dramatically as his Incineroar was knocked out by Kushinada.
Misaki sweat dropped at the dramatics. She had her hands on her waist.
“Man, first that hellish quiz now this! This gym is impossible!”, the trainer complained.
“No, it’s not. It's hard but it’s possible.”, Misaki replied with a sigh.
The trainer sniffled.
“Ah, whatever I don’t need this stupid challenge anyway!”, the trainer replied as Misaki’s eye twitched.
Misaki just sighed as the kid ran out after recalling his Pokémon.
“You know after Team Asteroid threatened the region I thought trainers would get more serious about the gym challenge...”, Misaki thought.
Misaki lounged in her chair and pulled up her phone as she waited for the next challenger. She scrolled through the news section. Assista Eevee walked in and jumped into her lap. She petted Assista Eeveee as it cuddled up to her.
“Looks like things in Kanto and Johto are getting a little better with Kai there, but still bad overall. If I didn’t have the responsibility of the gym I’d…(sigh) From what I’m reading it really sounds like another person like Aichi is leading the invasion…”, Misaki thought.
She noticed how Assista Eevee suddenly stiffened looking to the exit warily.
“What’s wrong?”, Misaki questioned.
Assista Eevee jumped off her lap and motioned her to follow with its tail. Misaki followed Assista Eevee to outside to see Pokémon going berserk. Misaki gasped in shock wondering what’s going on. Misaki threw out the rest of her Pokémon.
“Stop them and try to save anyone being attacked. I’m going to see what’s causing this.”, Misaki commanded as her Pokémon nodded.
Assista Eevee jumped onto her shoulder wanting to go with her. Misaki went off as they all split up. As she looked up into the air she noticed an unknown type of Poké ball flying through the sky. Assista Eevee looked at the balls warily, sending something ominous about them and shot a wave of psychic energy at them, destroying them. Misaki followed where the mysterious Poké balls were coming from and came across some cloaked men; rare hunters. She looked down noticing the trainer from before on the ground in tears. She glared at the rare hunters.
“What do you think you're doing?”, Misaki questioned.
“Ah, so you’ve appeared Tokura Misaki. We’ve heard you gave Team Asteroid a lot of trouble when they invaded this region.”, a cloaked man said.
“What’s it to you?”, Misaki questioned.
“We are the rare hunters. You could say we’re business partners with Team Asteroid.”, the cloaked man replied.
“Is that so?”, Misaki questioned menacingly.
In another part of Oracle town, Shin flew on top of Valkriyan shooting lightning down on the berserking Pokémon. Many of the people kept inside to avoid the danger.
“Go, giant automation of the distant past Valkriyan! Use thunderbolt again!”, Shin ordered.
The hooded man threw out one of the mysterious Poké balls revealing a Incineroar. It was covered in a purple aura and it’s eyes glowed red. It grinned sinisterly and raised its claws.
“Incineroar!”, the trainer cried out.
“Wait...that can’t be...that...that’s the same Incineroar he had?!”, Misaki gasped in shock.
“It is indeed that’s one of the many powers of these special Poké balls. After we defeat you we will be taking all your Pokémon.”, the cloaked man said.
“Not if I have anything to say about it! Assista Eevee use dazzling gleam!”, Misaki ordered.
“Incineroar use darkest lariat!”, the cloaked man ordered.
Assista Eevee was narrowly able to dodge the swing filled with dark type energy. It quickly released the pink light as quickly as it could, but it couldn’t stop the second swing. Assista Eevee gasped in pain as it was hit repeatedly by the dark type’s blows.
“Don’t do this Incineroar!”, the trainer cried out.
“Whatever they did to that Incineroar made it way stronger than before.”, Misaki thought.
Misaki sweated nervously before looking over to see her Gardevior Sakuya come up.
“I will not fail! Not again!”, Misaki thought as she activated her mega bracelet.
Sakuya became mega Gardevior and quickly caught Assista Eevee as it fell. Incineroar quickly launched itself and Sakuya who emitted more fairy light at it. It was slightly pushed back by the light, but stubbornly clawed forward to Sakuya.
“Sakuya use focus blast!”, Misaki ordered.
Sakuya held out one hand and shot a wave of energy at Incineroar pushing it back. Assista Eevee leap out Sakuya’s arms and broke Incineroar’s block allowing the blast to engulf it. The Incinerator fell to its knee and struggled up.
“P-please stop this Incineroar! Don’t you r-remember our dream! We were going to become strong enough to protect Tachikaze town!”, the trainer pleaded.
The Incineroar twitched a bit at what it heard.
“Please Incineroar!”, the trainer begged.
“It’s pointless kid!”, one of the cloaked men said.
“No, it's not pointless! The bond between a trainer and their Pokémon can be a strong thing!”, Misaki replied as Assista Eevee struggled up despite its wounds.
“You really believe that childish nonsense?”, another cloaked man questioned.
“Perhaps we should show you why such things are meaningless.”, another cloaked man said as he raised a Poké ball.
Before he could however, Valkriyan threw a punch and the powerful air pressure from the punch sent the rare hunters flying back, knocking them out. The Incineroar doubled over damaged and clutching its head. It grunted in pain, tossing and turning.
“You can do it Incineroar!”, the trainer said.
Eventually it stopped. The aura around it disappeared and it’s eyes went back to normal. The mysterious Poké ball that previously contained it sparked before exploding.
“Whatever these things are people have to know.”, Misaki said as she looked at the broken Poké ball.
The trainer hugged his Incinerator while sobbing.
“T-thank you! S-Sorry about b-before!”, the trainer said.
“It’s nothing, you're like 10. 10 year olds have temper tantrums all the time.”, Misaki replied, before she grabbed her phone to make a call.
At Palesville…
Kamui slumped still saddened that he couldn’t take on the elite four yet. He had gotten all his gym badges too. Kamui laid his head on the table he sat at outside.
“I hope Reijj and Eiji got those presents…”, Kamui mumbled.
He suddenly jumped when he heard screaming. He was beyond surprised when a bunch of ‘wild’ Pokémon started flooded the streets and started attacking people. Kamui quickly threw out his Pokémon. He then mega evolved Kaiser and Buster.
“Kaiser use blizzard! Buster, Mr.Invincible use close combat! Shout use hammer arm! Hatred Chaos use shadow ball! Tough boy use mega horn!”, Kamui ordered.

British LegendsXPokémon
Morgana/Morgan le Fay

She was known to have studied magic while she was being brought up in the nunnery.
Le Morte Darthur from Thomas Mallory, I took the one off Wikipedia.
Welcome to our witchy fairy. Yay!
Delphox is a witch. Morgana is a witch. That’s the logic.
Morgana is the second child of Gorlois and Igraine. When she was young, Gorlois got each one of his daughters a Pokémon from his trip to Kalos (he had pledge his allegiance to Aurelius). Fennekin chose her. (Morgause got Nidoran female and Elaine got a Skitty). Morgana was so happy. She and Fennekin spent every second together. They encouraged each other to learn magic. Fennekin would grab a stick wave it around like a magic wand. Morgana practice potions and used the sticks Fennekin would chose to stir the cauldrons.
The night Gorlois died and Uthyr took Tintagel, Morgana and Fennekin were hiding with her sisters. Morgause tried to protect them with her Kakuna and Nidoran, they weren’t battle prepared. It was Fennekin evolving that helped. The three girls ran to the beach and hid behind the cliffs. Only Igraine was able to find them and brought her girls home.
Now, Morgana and Braixen were often found in the forest (only almost causing a forest fire once) where they practiced magic. They learned darker and darker magic.
Also, Braixen once used his stick to make Uthyr’s clothes catch fire. That’s when Uthyr was like “take thee to a nunnery!” (:P). That backfired (pun intended) because she learned necromancy there.
He was a Braixen for most of Morgana’s teenage years. He only evolved when Morgana was married off to Urien. There was a Saxon attack. Urien had his team of Pokémon and Morgana had her. They battled and battled. Morgana and Braixen fought the chief of the skirmish. Braixen was about to lose against the Poliwrath. But he did not give up for Morgana and he evolved into the Delphox. Then kicked that tadpole’s ass with his psychic power.
Delphox is Morgana’s best friend and fellow student. They encourage each other to be the most powerful version of each other as they can.
His moveset is Future Sight, Mystic Fire, Magic Room and Psychic.
I wanted to give Morgana mega and any excuse to add ghost Pokémon. And this is a vindictive Pokémon. It works in personality.
Morgana had a doll she named Modron (:P). She used to play with it and sleep with it. Then, Uthyr came along and sent Morgana to the nunnery. After a cruel joke from fellow students, Modron was found ripped. Morgana cried since it was a reminder from when she was happy with her parents and sisters. Braixen found a book and Morgana decided to fix Modron with magic. And it worked? Well Modron is now a Shuppet.
It didn’t take Modron long to become a Banette, since Shuppets feed on feelings of vindictiveness and vengeance and Morgana has those feelings towards Uthyr and later Arthur and Guinevere (mainly Guinevere).
And it did not take long for Morgana to find a mega stone. Morgana is all about that power and magic.
Her moveset is Hex, Phantom Force, Grudge and Sucker Punch.
Shiinotic is partly based off of fairy rings! When I found that out I’m like yeah, I’m putting it on Morgana aka Morgan le Fay’s team. Plus mushrooms are great for potions. They can poison and they can heal. I like to think Shiinotic heals humans but poison dragons. Uthyr is the dragon master and Morgana having a fairy poison that can kill them is great. (These things better be in Galar btw.)
Morgana found Morelull on a moonless night in the forest. She was summoning Darkrai so they (Darkrai is genderless) could haunt Uthyr’s dreams. Morelull was guiding Morgana to the best place. Then Morelull followed her home. Morgana just kind of started using her as a lamp. Braixen and her then started to use Morelull’s powders for potions, mostly sleep potions at first.
When Morelull evolved she starts using Shiinotic for other potions, like healing ones or darker ones.
Morgana and Morgause mixed a poison with Shiinotic’s spores and Morgause’s poison team to kill Uthyr.
Shiinotic’s moveset is Moonblast, Giga Drain, Spore, Dream Eater and Twinkle Tackle (giving Gen 7 Pokémon Z moves cause why not)
It’s a witch.
On night in the forest, Murkrow attacked Morelull because oooh shiny. Morgana catched her.
Morgana likes to use Murkrow for spying on her enemies. During the war with Arthur, Arthur changed all Murkrow after Merlin told him about Morgana’s.
After Morgana and Arthur became allies, Murkrow once stole Arthur’s crown, because shiny gold.
Her moveset is Wing Attack, Haze (I think Morgana would like that one of her Pokémon can create a fog), Thief and Dark Pulse.

It’s a witch and reading the Pokédex entries it’s more of a witch then Murkrow.
Mismagius was haunting Morgana’s daughter, Morfydd, who was five at the time. Morfydd followed her mother in the haunted forest and that’s how Mismagius found her.
To help her child, and also giving Owain and Morfydd a Pokémon catching tutorial, she caught Mismagius.
Morgana used Mismagius to curse people and to give her enemies hallucinations. Mismagius was more than glad to do it. Mismagius was also glad to cast helpful spells too. Mismagius and Delphox were close friends. They liked to push each other.
Her moveset is Magical Leaf, Shadow Ball, Spite and Lucky Chant.
A. Sylveon is a fairy, Morgana is le Fay. B. Sylveon is my favourite eeveelution and in my top ten favourite Pokémon. C. Sylveon evolves with love. Hence is my tool for her redemption arc.
After the war with Arthur, Arthur gives Morgana a peace offering, an Eevee. (I’m a fan of paragon of good Arthur.) She was surprised. She was his enemy. She lost the war. Why would he give her a gift? She was going to make him pay for winning the war and forgiving her. She tried to dethrone him again. But he forgave her again. He was Uthyr’s son?! How can he be like this? She went to him, he asked for her opinion on important matters. Soon, she started to see him as the brother he was to her. That is when Eevee evolves into Sylveon. Sylveon is the familial love Morgana feels for her brother.
Sylveon was cuddly and liked to help with Morgana’s healing projects. He kept the patients calm.
Sylveon’s moveset is Moonblast, Hyper Beam, Light Screen and Draining Kiss.
Extra, none team Pokémon
I mentioned Darkrai already.
Banette was playing in the library and they found a book that taught Morgana how to conjure Darkrai. Darkrai help Morgana during war, keeping people up with nightmares. Though she does like to use Darkrai on people she doesn’t like coughGuineverecough, not just war enemies. (Guinevere has a Cresselia protecting her (I know that Dark is strong against Psychic, but Cresselia has fairy moves)). Darkrai and Morgana have a nice friendship.
As Morgana got older she started a Pokéresort or a Proto-Pokécenter in Avalon. She found it with Isolde (the younger, why can’t these two be friends? They are both magical smart women and healers) and Nimue. Anyway, Morgana had a Chansey there that helped with the healing of the Pokémon. Chansey was in charge when the women are gone. When everything was done and Arthur and everyone died, Morgana toke the Pokémon and protectd them in Avalon. She also enchanted the apples to be healing apples.
@cukibola for the Darkrai and the Chansey ideas.

Mystery Gift
When At Any Pokemart, Go to the little sheet and say Link Together With All. The Owner will say somethings. Save and Restart. The mystery gift will be under the new game.
Powerful Fire, Water, And Grass Moves
If you want to have a really strong team to prepare for the Elite Four, and you have all three starter pokemon, you should have venusaur learn Frenzy Plant and SolarBeam, Charizard learn Blast Burn and Fire Blast, and Blastoise learn Hydro Cannon and Hydro Pump. Blast Burn, Hydro Cannon, and Frenzy Plant are like the fire, water, and grass versions of Hyper Beam and cause as much damage as Hyper Beam (not counting weaknesses and strengths).
Very Quick Cash
Ok if you are in need of cash best way to get extra. $$$. Is to catch a MEOWTH as early as possible in the game, you can get one in CERULEAN CITY just before you get to the pokemaniac BILL. I got mine in lv10 aside from having the ability to pick up items including NUGGETS. It will lern PAY DAY which at LV20 will give you an extra $100 cash for everytime is use and it will go up $5 a LV. So if you use it 10 times in a poke battle at LV20 you will get an extra $1000.
Safari Zone Hint
Okay, in the safari zone, you have a limit of about 600 steps. So, if you are repeatedly spending money trying to get a chansey or tauras, this is the trick to getting them without losing steps. All you do is go to the area you want, for example, area two. Then go into any patch of grass or water, and lightly tap the pad in any direction. If you tap the pad light, then you will turn and face the direction you tapped, and you will not move. And, you still get Pokemon! Once you’ve caught the pokemon you desire, you can just hit start and retire.
Unlock Island 4
You beat the Elite Four twice then sail to island 1 and fix the net work machine.
Strategy To Beating The Gyms
This Strategy helped me beat 5 out of 8 gym leaders, Make sure that your party has Lapras, that the Lapras knows knows Perish Song, and that the Lapras has high speed or is holding Quick Claw. This only worked part of the time, but use your other Pokemon to get the Leader down to one Pokemon so he can’t switch pokemon, then switch to Lapras, and use Lapras’s Perish Song, so the leader’s pokemon will faint in 3 turns. If you don’t want to lose Lapras, switch it out and use your Pokemon with a strength against the leader’s, or with high HP because the leader’s pokemon will use it’s most powerful attack, in a feeble chance to win.

Two Shines!
If you have unlocked the first three of the Sevii Islands, go to One Island and head to Mt. Ember. Search the area after the first trainer battle inside Mt. Ember for a shiny Rapidash. It is a Cream-color with Blue flames, and it’ll be at level 39. Also, there is a path where you can go through the grass to get an ether. Look through the grass to find a level 38 shiny Fearow. It’ll have the Pokerus disease and is a bright gold color.
Pokemon Starters
So basically the 3 starters are Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur. Charmander: Best choice if you want ATK power, plus, He learns good moves, and the first 2 gyms you may have trouble with, but they won’t know any powerful moves. Have other pokemon to help you Squirtle: Okay choice, but you’ll want to have other pokemon, Squirtle has a solid DEF, but he won’t learn many good attacks, so you may have trouble. Bulbasaur: worst choice, because he doesn’t have alot of strong points, and too many weakneses.although he can’t be poisoned, his move list is rather pathetic.
Articuno
Surf south from Fuschia until you hit a barrier. Then, Surf west to the Seafoam Islands. When yousee boulders, push them into the pits to reach thelegendary bird Articuno.
How To Catch The Legendary Dog
First, make sure you have beaten the Elite Four twice. Next, catch aWobbuffet in Cerulean Cave. Its Shadow Tag keeps the Legendary dog from escaping. Use moves like Counter to weaken it.
Level 50 Moltres
Go to the island with the volcano on it. Once you get to the volcano, go to the very top. You will see a bird that looks like its wings are on fire. Before you confront it, you should make sure you have some ultra balls. About 50 of them. Save the game before you confront it. That way if you accidentally kill Moltres, or you run out of Ultra Balls, you can just shut of the game and try again.
Rare Candy
To get more Rare Candies, look for some Meowths. You are 30% likely to get one
Hidden Rare Candy
Go to Two Island and go to the house where the lady teaches you the special move. Go behind her house. Walk foreword until there is rooom for one more step. Then press “A”. (It is hidden)

Where To Find Zapdos
Zapdos is found near the rock tunnel. Right on topof the rock tunnel is a patch of grass. There is alake on top of the grass. Surf on that lake. Thenyou get to an abandoned power plant. Then go tothe back of it. And there lies a level 50 Zapdos.
Where Dunsparce Dwells
After you beat Blaine, say yes to Bill’s offer. He will take you to One Island. After you hear what his friend Felix has to say, walk back down to the ship and go to three island. On the beach part of the island, you will see a cave opening. go through the cave and you will find a small patch of grass. This is the only place you can catch Dunsparce!!! Though it is a pretty useless pokemon to battle with.
Duplicate Eevee
To Duplicate Eevee, go to the four island and make sure you have a Ditto. Put Eevee and Ditto in the day care center, so you can get an egg. To hatch the egg ride your bike up and down cycle hill.
Master Ball
To get a Master Ball you have to have gotten the Tea from the Old Lady in Pokemon Mansion(first floor front entrance). After you get to Saffron City, train your Pokemon until they are around Level 30-35 so when you face your Rival they will be all around level 40. After you get the card key, go down to the second floor and go to a room all the way on the left. Step on one of the teleport tiles and it will take you to a small room with a man who will give you Lapras and your Rival. AFter you fight your rival and get the Lapras go into the teleportation tile and it will take you to the eleventh floor where you will fight Giovanni(Team Rocket Boss) and a Rocket Grunt. YOu should be able to wipe out Giovanni if you have a really powerfull water or grass pokemon (Blastoise or Venusaur). AFter defeating Giovanni go talk to the President and he will give you the Master Ball. Master Ball will catch any Pokemon without fail and no matter what the HP. Also, you should save the Master Ball until you get to either the THree Legendary Dogs or Mewtwo.
Legandary Dogs
When you choose your starter, later on in thegame, depending on your choice, you will have thechance to catch a legendary dog. The dog you willreceive has an element that adds a strength toyour Pokemon. * Squirtle: Raikou * Bulbasaur: Entei * Charmander: Suicune

You can only go to the Unknown Cave after you beat the elite four the second time and fix the machine in Island 1. Get All 3 Starter Pokemon!
To do this you must have 2 gameboy advances(Or GBA player/ GBA SP) and 2 copies of Fire Red, or A copy of Fire Red, and a copy of Leaf Green. 1st, start both games, then pick a starter pokemon. Catch 1 other pokemon. Then, in the games, get to a part where you can trade, and trade your starter pokemon into the other game.Keep erasing and restarting your game, until in 1 game, a person is equipped with 2 Charmander, 2 squirtle, and 2 Bulbasaur. The other game should have any 1 pokemon. Trade back one of each, and you will have all 3 starter pokemon!(You can also use Ruby/Saphire as a storage unit for this trick, but that requires a normal link cable, and the pokemon will NOT show up on the pokedex!)
Special Attack
There is a special attack that your pokemon can learn. It has to your begginer pokemon though. They each have the same power points (150) and accuracy (90). Blastoise learns Hydrocannon, Charizard learn BlastBurn, and Venasaur learns Frenzyplant. They don’t learn it on their own. To get this move you have to go to two island and somewhere after their there is a lady who says that she an attack thats like the future a sight or something like that. But make sure your starter pokemon is in front.
