Loyalties || Felix & Zach
[Technically Zach wasn’t new to the persona that was Felix Turner, he was certain he might’ve seen his face on the internet or on some poster somewhere before D-day happened, something about his face was familiar. Although he would have to admit that he wouldn’t have known his name if he appeared to him before he had figured all of this out. But Clayton had brought him up, and given how kind those words had been, Zach figured trying to talk to a former celebrity couldn’t do much harm, especially not if this celebrity in question was aligned with the NWRF, because of his father. He could easily guess that either Felix had the same kind of beliefs, or he was simply following in his father’s steps. Meaning that if he could be convinced otherwise, he might be an important asset.]
[Zach hadn’t discussed any of this with either Teilo or Pax, not because he feared they might tell him not to, but because he wasn’t intending on bringing up the forum, their rebellion or anything like that. He had a tendency to argue with people any way, to bring up the more important subjects. Before D-day at least, that had been when Zach gladly spoke about issues that were important, but which other people rather not hear about, because facing that reality was threatening to their safe lives. He never minded, he figured discussion was the way to create a better life, a better planet. And he would gladly try to figure out what this kid’s thoughts were regarding the oppressive regime his father supported, and if he could be strayed from that path.]
[He took up breakfast without much appetite, but no matter how much was on his plate, there seemed to be less on Felix’, worse even, it felt as if the boy wouldn’t want to stay here much longer. He sat down quickly, quietly, turned and looked up.] You’re Felix Turner, right? The... well, singer wouldn’t cover it all I guess.

Nice Familiar Jacket || Felix & Mink
The weather was sort of nice today, meaning there was no rain and the overhanging clouds didn’t seem to offer any rain for the rest of the day either. If you looked well enough, you might see some sunshine once in a while pull through the grey clouds. Meaning a training session outside could be welcomed by all, or at least Mink was looking forward to some chucks of wind brushing through their hair, pulled at the short strands, having the sweat dry up under the edgy cold of a January season. Nothing wrong with a little cold.
The trainer had them walk a couple of laps in order to heat up, and Mink had been feeling extremely feisty that morning, being called back a couple of times whenever they pushed through into a sprint. That wasn’t the goal of the exercise. It didn’t hold Mink back however, they felt a surge of energy pick up and had to act on it. Their whole body felt like it was bursting with energy, wanting to run, fight, jump, whatever the trainer had in store for them.
After ten laps, which Mink finished first, the trainer teamed them up based on quality, and told them to work on their offense and defense poses. That part of training seemed even harder to Mink, because poses meant not really attacking other people, nor going all out. It meant holding back. And they were getting extremely irritated by holding back. Didn’t help that their opponent was someone they really wanted to smash. The other, probably noticing how Mink was jumping around on their spot, taunted them whenever it was their turn to attack. Saying things like “boy” or “girl”, which Mink hated, and telling them that they hit like a “girl”, which in itself was a stupid taunt, but the fact that the person had the audacity to assume their gender was a hateful thing.
Mink eventually, thinking the trainer wasn’t watching, made their move on their opponent, coming out of nowhere after having placed themselves in a defensive position, to attack the other straight on. Bending their stance a little so the put the other off guard, making use of the other’s sudden open pose, and swinging a fist into the other’s belly. Watching with great enjoyment how the person doubled over and fell to the ground.
Not a smart move however, the trainer shouted at them from a distance and told them to take a time out, sit at the bleachers until the end of training. Fuck! Mink threw the trainer a middle finger when they weren’t looking, and fuming, they made their way to the stupid benches.
To their surprise, they weren’t the only person who had to sit there, or at least they figured as much. Some youngster with blonde hair had taken a seat on the bleachers as well, he wore a pretty cool jacket, with flowers in different colors. They recognized it as a jacket that they also owned that exact jacket.
Still fuming, Mink sat down a little away from the other, looking up, studying him momentarily. “That’s a freaking awesome jacket.” They said, forcing themself not to look down, because from the corner of their eye they could see their opponent looking up with a grin. There was a little suspicion in their voice, as they studied the other. “I have the same one, but I lost it a couple days ago.”

Herbology Partners | Callum & Felix | October 27
Callum stood in greenhouse three with his gloves and Herbology robes on over his regular school uniform. He was watching the birds flying outside the greenhouse, and was not really paying Professor Longbottom any mind as they were explained what exactly they'd be working with today. He caught the words "violent" and "attention" in between his daydreaming, but nothing really stuck. He also realised part way through that he most certainly had not read the chapter assigned, but again, he dismissed it. The birds were flying in a very strange pattern, and it wasn't until the student next to him nudged him as they moved to their stations that he realised the instructions were over. He came out of his daze and tuned in right at the moment Longbottom listed off another pair of students, and then "Shaw and West, station five." Ah, excellent then... a partner exercise. Those were always preferable to him. He grabbed his bag and made his way over to station five, setting it down on the floor as he looked at what was in front of him. There was a small placard that read "Snapping dove bush". He hmm'd quietly, glancing between the innocuous-looking, small, purple, tubular-shaped plant and the seemingly-empty, but larger pot of dirt next to it. He had a vague idea that they'd maybe be re-potting whatever it was, but given that the name of the plant was drawing a complete and total blank in his mind, he really had no idea. Maybe they were re-potting and harvesting... something. He nodded his head slowly, gave another "hmm" of non-comprehension and turned to face his Slytherin partner. "Well, West. This ought to be a treat. Any idea what we're doing?"
