i’ve decided i may want to get oscar wilde / fave chara quotes + lyrics and other quotes in an endless tight spiral down my forearm. under the cut is the wall of text i’ve got so far! will have to save a few months to get them done tho c”x
i’ve always loved text inked into skin, but never had a strong set of words to settle for. not a single one. i’m never one for a single thing of something, so i’ve found a better alternative:
some cause happiness wherever they go; others whenever they go. VOOOII!!! a thing is not necessarily true just because someone dies for it. bossu~❤ the credit belongs to the one who is in the arena. ushishishi~ fear of the name only worsens fear of the thing itself. everything in this world is about sex, except sex; sex is about power. SHANNAROO! the truth is rarely pure and never simple. the books that the world calls immoral are books that show the world its own shame. never love anyone who treats you like you’re ordinary. KATSU-! you will always be fond of me; i represent to you all the sins you never had the courage to commit. in memory of when i cared. curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back. the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb. i have nothing to declare except my genius. independent elite assassination squad. you don’t love someone for their looks, or their clothes, or for their fancy car, but because they sing a song only you can hear. a sudden spark ignites a sea of diamonds; and from the dark a light breaks the silence; we made a tear in time with love like lions; a simple spark… ignites. we seek it thus, and take to the sky. one is least oneself when one talks in their own person; give them a mask, and they will tell you the truth. abdcefuckoff. i don’t want to go to heaven; none of my friends are there. REBELLION is the only thing that keeps you ALIVE. speak the truth, even if your voice shakes. HEAR ME ROAR. you have suffered enough; it is time you won. sometimes to break through, you need to break down. i think god, in creating man, somewhat overestimated their ability. fuck god, believe in yourself. in uncertainty lies endless possibility. i don’t want to be at the mercy of my emotions; i want to use them, to enjoy them, and to dominate them. a cynic is one who knows the price of everything, and the value of nothing. it is absurd to divide people into good and bad; people are either charming or tedious. there is nothing either good or ill, yet thinking makes it so. the only way to get rid of temptation is to yield to it. to love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance. i choose you. loyal to few; ruled by none. selfishness is not living as one wishes to live, it is asking others to live as one wishes to live. to quote hamlet act III scene III line 92: ‘no’. i wish i was a unicorn, so i could stab idiots with my head. SO hyped for the destruction of humanity. turn the pain into fuel, and keep your wits about you until you need to break. it’s okay; you just forgot who you are; welcome back. i’m nobody’s son. have what is worth losing. give ‘em hell. not everyone likes me, but not everyone matters. i got my own back. thank you for reminding me what butterflies feel like. immature (noun): a word used by boring people to describe fun people.

Addictions
Position: Addictions come in many shapes and sizes, and we must avoid them and shield our families from them like the plague. Pornography has taken a devastating toll on the family unit, sweeping the world and much of the church down forbidden paths from which return is thorny and slow. Addictions and their consequences have kept our fellow men from receiving the gospel light since the beginning of time. Latter-day prophets warn of these satanic traps that rob us of our agency, and offer crucial advice on how to avoid them. It is clear that strict obedience to the gospel and prayerful study of the scriptures can inoculate us from temptations that lead us to addiction.
“I promise that as you daily immerse yourself in the Book of Mormon, you can be immunized against the evils of the day, even the gripping plague of pornography and other mind-numbing addictions.” The Book of Mormon: What Would Your Life Be Like Without It? - President Russell M. Nelson - October 2017
“Pornographic or erotic stories and pictures are worse than filthy or polluted food. The body has defenses to rid itself of unwholesome food. With a few fatal exceptions, bad food will only make you sick but do no permanent harm. In contrast, a person who feasts upon filthy stories or pornographic or erotic pictures and literature records them in this marvelous retrieval system we call a brain. The brain won’t vomit back filth. Once recorded, it will always remain subject to recall, flashing its perverted images across your mind and drawing you away from the wholesome things in life.” Pornography - Elder Dallin H. Oaks - April 2005
“Echoing the words from Matthew, the Father and the Son tell us that we should come unto Christ, take His yoke on us because the burdens we bear can be made light, and we can find rest. We all carry burdens. We may be burdened with sin, sorrow, addiction, sickness, guilt, or shame. In these difficulties, looking to Christ brings healing and hope and consolation. "He will heal those who trust Him and make their hearts as gold." The doctrine of Christ--faith, repentance, baptism, and receiving the Holy Ghost--is not intended to be experienced as a one-time event. Our theology teaches us that we become perfected by repeatedly and iteratively "relying wholly upon" the doctrine of Christ.” Come Unto Christ - Elder Dale G. Renlund - September 2017
“In my mind, I imagine you of the rising generation watching or listening to this conference session somewhere in the world. I’d like to share a true story with you, a story that can be both an example and a lesson. It can show you how to get closer to the Lord and access greater power to resist temptation.” Look to the Book, Look to the Lord - Elder Gary E. Stevenson - October 2016
“When any of Heavenly Father’s children misuse their physical tabernacles by violating the law of chastity, by using drugs and addictive substances, by disfiguring or defacing themselves, or by worshipping the false idol of body image, whether their own or that of others, Satan is delighted. To those of us who know and understand the plan of salvation, any defiling of the body is rebellion and a denial of our true identity as sons and daughters of God (see Mosiah 2:36–37; D&C 64:34–35). Now, brothers and sisters, I cannot tell you all the ways whereby you may misuse your bodies, “for there are divers ways and means, even so many that I cannot number them” (Mosiah 4:29). You know what is right and what is wrong, and you have the individual responsibility to learn for yourself “by study and also by faith” (D&C 88:118) the things you should and should not do and the doctrinal reasons you should and should not do those things. I testify that as you desire to so learn, as you “watch yourselves, and your thoughts, and your words, and your deeds, and observe the commandments of God, and continue in the faith of what ye have heard concerning the coming of our Lord, even unto the end of your lives” (Mosiah 4:30), you will be spiritually enlightened and protected. And according to your faithfulness and diligence, you will have the power to discern the deception and repel the attacks of the adversary as he tempts you to misuse your physical body.” Things as They Really Are - Elder David A. Bednar - May 2009
“The Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, atoned for your sins out of love for you. They, the Father and the Son, know your name as They knew the name of the Prophet Joseph Smith when They appeared to him. I testify that this is the Church of Jesus Christ and that He will honor the covenants you make and renew with God. Your very nature will be changed to become more like the Savior. You will be fortified against temptation and against feelings of doubt about the truth.” Gratitude On the Sabbath Day - President Henry B. Eyring - October 2016
“President Benson further taught: “The Book of Mormon teaches us truth [and] bears testimony of Christ. But there is something more. There is a power in the book which will begin to flow into your lives the moment you begin a serious study of the book. You will find greater power to resist temptation. … You will find the power to stay on the strait and narrow path.” Look to the Book, Look to the Lord - Elder Gary E. Stevenson - October 2016
“Patrons of pornography also lose the companionship of the Spirit. Pornography produces fantasies that destroy spirituality. “To be carnally minded is death”—spiritual death.” Pornography - Elder Dallin H. Oaks - April 2005
“Addiction to any substance enslaves not only the physical body but the spirit as well. Therefore, repentance is best achieved while one still has a body to help attain spiritual supremacy: “This life is the time for men to prepare to meet God; … this life is the day for men to perform their labors.” Addiction or Freedom - President Russell M. Nelson - October 1988
“The seditious evils of pornography, abortion, and addiction to harmful substances serve as termites to erode the undergirding strength of a happy home and a faithful family. We cannot yield to any iniquity without putting our families at risk.” Set in Order Thy House - President Russell M. Nelson - October 2001
