A WoC Timeline - as of 7/27/23

Bit of overview, this is the current-day most accurate timeline of events that I have regarding these characers, which INCLUDES birth years, important life events, death dates if applicable, and a handful of story placements for both canonical and original characters. This does get updated in its official document now and again but given the fact that I've had and been building on this one for the last several months, I think this is the most solid thing I've got right now for storyline.

Little warning for the possibility of some spoiler information, though I'm pretty confident most of this has been reiterated at least somewhere in my history once before (ie certain OCs, specific things that happen, yada yada)

So yeah a paragraph later here's my World of Cars unofficially official timeline:

I think it's very important that you all see this clip of M&R being cute with... well, M&R.

Did you know that Tugger can do punchies and, more importantly, Munkustrap can, when called upon by the presence of cute orange little guys, do silly kickees? and also scrabble at bellies?

Oasis cast 1, 2014. Since this is Oasis, and all characters are present for this performance, they are almost certainly all first cast (barring the chance of temporary replacements), and I definitely recognise George Hankers as Mungojerrie. The other three should be Georgie Leatherland (Rumpelteazer), Matias Stegmann (Munkustrap), and Dominic Andersen (a very enthusiastic Tugger who must leap and frolic everywhere).

one of my favorite tuggoff phenomenons is tugger and misto doing some dorky gimmick that looks almost certainly rehearsed (the wiggledance for example). i just think its the best bc

a) theres an implication there that they spend some amount of their free time together putting together stuff like that which is cute

b) their attention-seeking little asses actually waste time on dumb things like that, which is very funny

c) misto starts the show like 'UM THIS TUGGER GUY SUCKS AND IS BORING. LOL' and then an hour later he's literally doing the cat version of a secret handshake with the guy, which is hilarious

Tugger not doing the audience thing isn't really about the US tour. It very much came in suddenly with COVID across multiple existing productions - they shut down completely then when they came back up it had to be with minimal audience interaction (yes I have a tag for audience interaction in general).

Most obvious are the Vienna revival - which shut down for a while but then even when it came back up never did any audience interaction except for green eyes - and the then Asia tour, from which we do have some footage where you can see Misto and Deut wearing masks when Misto leads Deut through the audience, then Misto fondly touches Deut's face to cover for removing his mask and runs their masks offstage while the kittens greet Deut.

Audience interaction is starting to come back but who knows if it will ever be as enthusiastic and easy as before.

first impression: pretty sure he was one of my favourite cats when I was first discovering the show, and if i remember correctly i doodled him the most when i was trying to figure out how to draw the characters

impression now: I really like him!! I’d say he’s easily in my top 10

Favourite moment: I think it’s always fun whenever he can jump into the audience and dance w someone during his number. I’m not sure if many modern productions do that anymore (ik broadway revival doesn’t 👎) but i hope they bring that back someday

Unpopular opinion: well. Although i do hc him and munkustrap to be half siblings, i just dont rlly see either of them being related to macavity. But all power to you if you disagree w me lol

Favourite relationship: tugger and Misto will always be very precious to me !! And ofc i enjoy whatever weird situationship is going on with him and bomba

Favourite headcanon: kicks my foot in the dirt. Well ,maybe it’s interesting that tugger acts really immature but in reality is one of the most attentive cats and is very respectful. That doesn’t mean his sexuality is a facade, as it very much isn’t, since he enjoys getting attention but also likes giving the same amount of attention to specific cats like mistoffelees and deuteronomy
