His expression was serious as he sat down, sky blue eyes locked onto the other with a gentle warmth, but not the usual cheerfulness he was so known for. They had come a long way, so long that now Ray had basically made himself at home at Daxten’s place. He left clothes, a toothbrush, a pair of shoes... He had inserted himself into the hitman’s life with no intention of leaving. Oh, what an adventure it must’ve been for the gruffy human, to have a demon fall in love with him.

“Hypothetically speaking... Let’s say I have a friend. This friend has a boyfriend who is like, the hottest guy on earth, but kinda grumpy and busy. And my friend might’ve booked a whole week of vacation for 2 people in Greece, because he’s dying to do coupley things and see the boyfriend sunbathing on a beautiful beach... But he didn’t ask the boyfriend beforehand and is now worried that he should’ve... What should I-- I mean, what should my friend do? Hypothetically.”

There is a reason why Ray has become so incredibly fond of this human, and it has everything to do with how shameless he is. Maybe it’s his demonic nature or a masochistic whim of him, but the incubus can’t help but feel drawn to difficult people. And Dox? Well, he’s as difficult as they come. So he shows to resistance when he’s cornered against a wall, and just tries his best not to get hard while showing his lover a knowing grin.

“As if there’s any doubt that you have me all wrapped around your finger, you little shit,” he teases back. “You should grope harder. You know, to show dominance and shit.”

dox, crowding ray up against the wall, arms around him to allow palms the opportunity to settle COMFORTABLY within the bartender’s back pockets ;  there’s a sort of SMUG look upon the mender’s face, an upturn to a corner of his mouth that tells of an arrogance reaching farther than the HIGHEST LEVELS ; this smirk he brings NEARER, nipping once, twice at ray’s jaw ;

“Well then I guess it’s long overdue,” Lex grinned, pulling up a stool and resting his elbows on the bar. “Was gettin’ kinda bored and lonely home alone, so this puppy needed a walk.”

“You know what I really like about all of this? That when you say home, you mean my apartment,” he offered gently, pulling already a few bottles to prepare a nice looking cocktail that he knew Lex would appreciate.

“You’re always welcome to drop by whenever you need a walk. My bar is your bar and no harm shall come to you here.”

“Uhmm.... Hired? No. I’m not a prostitute...” Was he offended? Of course not. He just found the wording rather odd because, truth is, there was not a single dollar at play behind his visit to Morgan’s place.

Should he be charging Chris for this? It felt wrong.

“Actually.... No. Chris just told me you needed some company and asked me to check on you and maybe take you out to have some fun, maybe dancing, maybe the movies... I’m Ray, which I’m sure you know already. And honestly, I’m just happy to have more supernatural friends if you’d like us to be.”

He did not expect to find this kind of content on his Instagram, he really didn’t, and yet he definitely couldn’t just let it pass by without addressing it because now his demonic nature had caused him to feel a mighty need.

“And you expect me to believe that’s you?” he teased, even when he didn’t doubt it at all. “I’m sorry, I’m gonna need hard, palpable evidence to back those claims-”

How the incubus came across with the hybrid was hardly important at that point. Ray had always been drawn to chaotic people after all. It was a natural ocurrence, maybe because of his demonic existence or because of his own thrill seeking nature, he couldn’t tell. All he knew at the moment, as he watched the scene unfold in front of him. His friend wasn’t exactly having the best day... He could call him friend, right? Oh, well, he’d do it anyway.

“Someone’s in a bad mood today,” he thought aloud with his gentle british accent, more as a light hearted tease than anything else. The demon was nothing if not happy-go-lucky. “What’s the matter today, mate? Someone insulted your clothes? Missed your favorite show?”

He made a pause, looking at his companion with a gentle look, offering a beer instead. As a bartender he knew sometimes a drink made problems go away.

“Wait... You’re hungry. Is that it? You know you can feed on me whenever, right?”

He's gonna casually run fingers along Ray's back with a little smile on his face before pressing a kiss and nuzzling against him.

“Someone’s cuddly today,” the demon thought aloud, wrapping his arms around Karter and pulling him back with him so they can lay on the couch. Needless to say, Raghan had no problem at all with the affection. If anything, he fed off it.

“Wanna dump treasure hunting today to stay in bed? I won’t say no.”

"Here let me get that for you." He's pushed up close next to the stranger, probably a little closer than is deemed appropriate, but there isn't exactly a lot of space to maneuver when you have a queue of people behind you — arm stretches out past his shoulder-- two fingers dropping his signature black-red credit card onto the card reader to pay for the man's cup of coffee. "You look like you had a rough day and I thought you could do with a free drink." ( Morgan to Raghan )

Did Ray had a rough day? He couldn’t exactly tell. He had just lost one of his favorite lovers to a group of dumb hunters and he was just getting back to town from tracking them down and slaughtering each and every single one, but he didn’t exactly call that a bad day. Lovers come and go, so did hunters... Maybe he looked tired, which he was, but that was easily ignored at the sight of the gorgeous man that was now offering to buy his coffee for him.

“Well, well, well. What do I owe the honor to, hottie?” he asked the second he caught a glimpse of the handsome man sponsoring him that afternoon. “Aren’t you a sight for sore eyes...”

"hey, what's that over there?" he makes a show of SQUINTING behind raghan, really PLAYING IT UP enough to get his boyfriend to LOOK BACK---& when he does so, dox takes his chance to lean forward & suck a portion of ray's ice cream off the cone------ // idk if this sent already , i was getting error messages ;;;;

Now, one would expect Ray to get actively upset about having his precious ice cream cone violated in such a shameless manner, but the reality was different than expected. Ray, as much as he loved ice cream, couldn’t find a single thing wrong in Dox behaving like a normal person for a change. This was the kind of normalcy he had always wanted to give the boy and how on earth could that upset him?

“Wow. You’re really walking around pretending this cone is my dick, huh? Please, carry on. This is a show I can’t miss.”

“Let me get this straight,” the bartender started with a stern voice, studying the boy with his blue eyes. “You want me to serve you a drink? Is that even legal? What’s it gonna be next? Want me to rob a bank or something? Do you have any idea how much trouble that could bring me?”

There was a silence, thick and heavy falling upon them as Ray kept staring, judging, trying to disuade the other with nothing else than his look... For just a few seconds, that is. The harsh attitude was dropped immediately as he leaned over the counter.

“Nah, I’m just kidding. What are you feeling like today? Jack? Tequila? Mojitos? My Jäger bombs are legendary.”

Raghan wasn’t amused in the slightest. He thought the whole SPC was stupid, mostly because he could obliterate the whole organization if he so desired. Thankfully for humankind, this archdemon had no interest in the anihilation of their race- he loved it far too much.

But it meant he had to deal with the sides of humanity that weren’t so pretty, like that pathetic desire to control everything under the sun even when it was obvious the couldn’t. That’s how he ended up with a new GOC agent in the middle of his living room, introducing himself.

He would’ve been offended if this kid wasn’t so handsome.

“So... You’re the new baby sitter,” he stated, british accent as clear as day as he slouched a bit on the couch. “Well, get comfortable. Mike wasn’t so good at sitting around and playing videogames all day so-”

“I dunno. I think it’s more than cute,” Raghan insisted, one arm around Salem and the other holding his phone, looking at the picture he had taken of the Connors brothers only a week ago.

It was a safe place. There was, after all, not a safer place than his bed. Nobody would hear them, nobody could judge them. What was going to happen nest would stay within the confines of the demon’s room...

“I’m actually kinda jealous,” he added, making a small zoom in the picture to focus on both their smiling faces. “I wish I had a brother I was this close to. You’re both really lucky to have each other.”

It was a starting point and he planned to cash in. He nuzzled in, pulling Salem even closer just so he could place gentle kisses on his neck as he spoke.

“I mean, isn’t it great? Being loved by Thomas? Having those arms all wrapped around you... Feeling his warmth...”

“Alright, so, you said the relic was buried somewhere deep down the mines-- So I did what any sensible man would do and summoned some hellhounds to go and search. There is a specific area they can’t access and I can’t tell why so, if the relic really is sacred, it must be there.”

Was he getting actually invested in treasure hunting? Of course not. What he wanted, however, was to make Karter’s life that much easier.

“So, grab your things and let’s get your gorgeous butt on the move.”

Not a week had passed since that fateful night of truth and dare before Raghan found himself alone with Thomas once again. Those were great news for him because Salem would still take a while to get off from work and he could use the time to discover just how affected the oldest brother had been by the other day’s conversation.

So he was as shameless as ever, gently caressing the other back as he made it back to the kitchen to help with dinner.

“Why are you always so tense?” he asked in a soft voice. “It’s okay to relax around me, mate. I don’t mean any harm.”

Could he be bold? he was gonna be bold.

“If anything, I just want you both to feel good around me.”
