Like, Bart talks to the team about his mentor, never bringing up his name but everyone's curious to meet this man, and they finally encounter a situation where Bart goes "I guess I'll finally have to contact my mentor. I wanted to give him a chance at civilian life, but we need his help ;n;" and now Conner, Cassie, Tim are super curious about this guy now that they finally get to meet him and they turn up to the Fenton house like:

The front door is opened by a bohemian of a man wearing an orange jumpsuit. He opened his mouth to say--yell--something, but Bart as always spoke first. "Hi, Grandad! I'm your grandson from the future, Bart. Is Dad home? I need his help on a few things."

Gonna watch all of the simpsons, currently on season 2! Not even sure what season it's on now. 30?? 35??? 41???? I truly do not know. Haven't watched or drawn simpson related anything in YEARS. Fun fact the simpsons are what got baby me into drawing in the 90s. I would draw bart simpson's head over and over and over again :) so doing this felt super nostalgic lol, mostly from memory!!! Prompt 80

 So Dan knows that there’s heroes that have gone back in time, he’s aware of that fact. But he doesn’t exactly care and has more important things to worry about. Like the fact that Danny and Ellie are now three years old, right when he’s moving, though maybe that’s a blessing in disguise seeing as the GIW are searching for them in Amity. 

  But still, he has more important things to worry about than the speedster vibrating five feet away from him. Like making sure Ellie and Danny are alright to visit (ugh) Peepaw Clocky while he goes to work. 

  Ms. Mercy is not messing around, which he appreciates in a workspace, but he has to wait for another opening in the daycare before he can bring his, as far as everyone else is aware, siblings who he got emergency custody of. 

  What with how Jazz is interning in Gotham, they figured Metropolis would be safer. Now if the speedster would stop following him, he would really appreciate it. He’s literally just an intern under Ms Mercy as an assistant, not even one of the scientists, and it’s not like his timeline of the end of the world exists anymore!

Fast-Forwarding to Six

[Tim angst + fluff, Tim/Cassie established]

He was trying to be romantic when he brought Cassie flowers at sunset upon returning to San Fran. She had smiled, set the vase on the table, given him a quick kiss and then flew out the window to help with some Titan's business.

He got a text two minutes later reminding him that Donna would be babysitting tomorrow.

So for tonight, it's him and the baby.

Diane keeps leaning over as if trying to escape his arms, and in less than a second, he realizes it's because she wants to touch the flowers very, very badly.

So he leans forward and lets her. When she still can't seem to grasp the daisy petals, he leans forward and detaches a couple for her. She takes a solid minute to just...pet them. Like the texture of a flower petal is the singular most fascinating and soothing thing in the world.

So Tim gives it a try. Underrated experience, he realizes. His daughter may be on to something.

A factual part of his mind informs him that if he were the small child trying to play with his mother's flowers, his parents would have batted his hand away and told him to go play on his own. Or to better yet, go do something educational.

He's been having a lot of thoughts about his parents lately. Memories drip in like a leaky faucet and ripple out to occupy his mind.

It's only when Diane switches gears and tries to put a bit of daisy in her mouth that he stops her. She protests, and he responds by distracting her with a game. Peek-a-boo and roll-the-ball and a cascade of simple pastimes he has no memory of doing when he was a child.

But he must have, surely?

Everyone warns him that she's going to grow fast. Not speedster-fast, thanks to her entirely human makeup, but still... a warning from Superman rings in his mind: "You just... blink and she'll be six. You'll see."

It didn't seem like a good time to tell Clark that six was the age at which Tim's own parents started trusting him to stay at home by himself. He can't picture Clark Kent leaving Jon home alone at six. Not that Jon wasn't a good kid--he was--and is a very good man now. But... maybe it isn't about trust.

He watches his daughter as she grips a squish-ball with all the focus she had reserved for a flower petal two minutes ago. He tries to picture her grown past the height of his own elbow, running around, saying sentences with the occasional mispronounced word, her hair cropped just long enough for pigtails...

He tries to picture just leaving her like that. Alone. For weeks. It creates a taught grapple line in his chest, and it makes him want to shove his bo staff through someone' skull.

Because it's unacceptable.

Bart zips in and finds them like that, Tim staring at the floorboards like he's abstractly contemplating murder, and Dianne about to cry because her ball rolled beyond her reach (never mind that she threw it there).

And because Bart is truly the best friend a guy could ask for, he ignores Tim's brooding entirely and scoops up lil' Diane and her ball, and proceeds to somehow juggle the squishy toy one-handed.

Cassie and Kon fly in simultaneously. When Kon amiably claps his shoulder, Tim feels a hint of TTK checking him over, making sure there's no physical reason Tim is tensed up like a lasso around a perp.

Tim merely shakes his head, nodding towards the baby. Kon takes the hint and joins Bart in creating a two-man variety show for Diane's entertainment.

Cassie doesn't stop to take any cues from him. She just drags him to the couch and pulls him down on top of her. Strong demigoddess hands massage their way into his hair, along his shoulders, stroking until he lets the tension go.

Exhaustion hits almost immediately after. But still--because it's important--he murmurs against her chest anyways.

"Taking myself off Gotham patrol roster tomorrow. Shoulda... shoulda done it earlier, but tomorrow--yeah."

The gentle scratching against his scalp pauses as Cassie speaks, "Are you sure? Because we have help. The whole Titans roster is willing to help with babysi--"

He looks her in the eye, and Tim's too tired to guess at exactly what his own expression conveys, but it's enough to give Cassie pause.

"I'm sure." he says, steadier than before. "I'll be on call for big emergencies. Earthquakes. Full-scale Arkham breakouts. But... no scheduled leaving her. Not... not regularly."

Cassie nods and gives him a warm smile that tells him he's done something good and right.

He feels the love circling through their living room like a vibrant living thing as sleep flows over him.

Do you think barry allen should be leader of the justice league? If not who should be

he'd be so mediocre as a team leader....like critical fact to remember about barry allen is that he's an introvert and perfectly happy with his three—count 'em—three friends that aren't either his nephew or his wife. and it's not like barry's incapable of being in a position of power (see jla: year one) it's just that it's not a role he could function his best in. barry is more often than not a solo act and even more so he doesn't possess the skill-set needed in order to improve a team of disfunctional superheroes rather than just manage it. he'd be decent at it but not great.

all in all i prefer the current triumvirate (bruce, clark, diana) as the default team leaders. they're a staple of the line-up and while i do think bruce would definitely be more of the obvious authority figure i also don't think he'd spend that much time outside of gotham. like realistically batman is not going to show up to fight cyborgs in australia if superman is already on the case and has it handled. therefore, triumvirate.

Once he abducts you he just wants to be bathed in your presence. He finds it fruitless for you to try and deny his affection. He does get pretty grumpy when you try and refuse his attempts at cuddling, and he would only really mock you if it would fix your behavior.

He would probably take away your voice to speak. He finds it annoying how much you rebel against him. He especially gets emotional when you say mean things about his team. He honestly just starts crying and hugging your legs.

Bart might not have been close with everyone who died in Young Justice, but it was definitely trama none the less. He couldn’t live with himself if anything happened to you, so he needed to keep you with him.

If you were to cry, he would rub your back and hush you gently. He knows you’re still adjusting and you just need some comfort. If you scream at him he’s probably smack you across your face and lock you in his basement. If you isolate yourself he would treat you the same. You still live with him, so you’re safe and sound. That’s all that matters to him.

𝕌 - 𝕌𝕟𝕚𝕢𝕦𝕖, 𝕎𝕠𝕦𝕝𝕕 𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕪 𝔻𝕠 𝔸𝕟𝕪𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝔻𝕚𝕗𝕗𝕖𝕣𝕖𝕟𝕥 𝔽𝕣𝕠𝕞 𝕋𝕙𝕖 ℂ𝕝𝕒𝕤𝕤𝕚𝕔 𝕐𝕒𝕟𝕕𝕖𝕣𝕖?

He’s would take you with him whenever he had missions. He would never put you in danger, so he would keep you in a safe house with prison guards as your security.

𝕍 -𝕍𝕚𝕔𝕖: 𝕎𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕎𝕖𝕒𝕜𝕟𝕖𝕤𝕤 ℂ𝕒𝕟 𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕚𝕣 𝔻𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝔼𝕩𝕡𝕝𝕠𝕚𝕥 𝕀𝕟 𝕆𝕣𝕕𝕖𝕣 𝕋𝕠 𝔼𝕤𝕔𝕒𝕡𝕖?

Bart is very emotional when it comes to words. But the maximum you could do with words is make him cry in front of you. In order to truly escape him you need to kill him in his sleep, making sure not to give him anytime to rewind time.

𝕎 - 𝕎𝕚𝕥’𝕤 𝔼𝕟𝕕, 𝕎𝕠𝕦𝕝𝕕 𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕪 𝔼𝕧𝕖𝕣 ℍ𝕦𝕣𝕥 𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕚𝕣 𝔻𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕚𝕟𝕘?

He would only physically or mentally hurt you if you really pissed him off or if he knew it would definitely change your behavior.

𝕏 - 𝕏𝕠𝕒𝕟𝕠𝕟, ℍ𝕠𝕨 𝕄𝕦𝕔𝕙 𝕎𝕠𝕦𝕝𝕕 𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕪 ℝ𝕖𝕧𝕖𝕣𝕖 𝕆𝕣 𝕎𝕠𝕣𝕤𝕙𝕚𝕡 𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕚𝕣 𝔻𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕚𝕟𝕘? 𝕋𝕠 𝕎𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕃𝕖𝕟𝕘𝕥𝕙 𝕎𝕠𝕦𝕝𝕕 𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕪 𝔾𝕠 𝕋𝕠 𝕎𝕚𝕟 𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕚𝕣 𝔻𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕆𝕧𝕖𝕣?

Since he spends almost every second with you he learns what will make you more comfortable with him. If praise is something you like then he’ll praise you up and down. If praise is something you’re not so comfortable with then he would only tell you “you did well” on rare occasions. He doesn’t really need to win you over, he just needs to take you away.

𝕐 - 𝕐𝕖𝕒𝕣𝕟, ℍ𝕠𝕨 𝕃𝕠𝕟𝕘 𝔻𝕠 𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕪 ℙ𝕚𝕟𝕖 𝔸𝕗𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕚𝕣 𝔻𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝔹𝕖𝕗𝕠𝕣𝕖 𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕪 𝕊𝕟𝕒𝕡?

He snaps extremely fast! One second he might be holding your hand and the next he’s telling you your friends and family against you. If you don’t believe him, he’ll instantly take you away.

ℤ - ℤ𝕖𝕟𝕚𝕥𝕙, 𝕎𝕠𝕦𝕝𝕕 𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕪 𝔼𝕧𝕖𝕣 𝔹𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕜 𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕚𝕣 𝔻𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕚𝕟𝕘?

If he did break you, it would be accidental. He doesn’t really realize how much his words can affect people. I’d say on a scale of one to ten, the chance of him breaking you is a six point five.
