But I’m really curious why Connor bedard and Emma loken were so private. Like I get it he is super popular but from what I heard they dated for like 3 or so years and the only thing out there is like one vid of them. He didn’t even attend her prom ( most likely due to the draft but you know what I mean ) it just not a single thing on his account about her - she wasn’t even in his likes 😭

They have now broken up but I’m curious in the future how private he is going to be with future gfs

maybe someone warned they of what could come when he was drafted, or maybe she kinda expected it to happen and took measures to limit her social media presence. Something could have happened while he was in the WHL with fans, or maybe one or both of them are private people and didn’t want people to know so made the effort to remove herself out of the public’s eye. honestly, it’s hard to say what to expect, depends on the girl

i keep seeing all these sad edits of connor bedard and i genuinely feel bad for him. like he needs out of chicago. i have met some of the blackhawks casually out and a few would make snarky remarks about him. such as calling him the golden child or how he was roommates with one of the guys and he couldn’t bring anyone back to his room as to not disturb the golden child’s sleep because he would be angry the next morning and no one wanted to deal with that. like macklin and will have each other and there’s so many duos on other teams. connor just seems so lonely and i just got the vibe some of his teammates don’t like him.

I think it’s because the league and the fanbase thought that ONE kid would save the hawks franchise. They already had a countdown for him and McDavid on him beating his point average or something like that

That’s a lot of pressure. Then he got hurt and was out and was still practicing to the point they had to hide his sticks and keep him away from the ice. At the time you thought he just really loves hockey but now you can’t help but think they put way too much pressure on him

Chicago needs more than a first round pick. They need a rebuild to be able to get to the playoffs. That’s more than Connor.
