Tip for grazing animals

So human bodies can't eat grass and it makes them sick. So here is my go to... green onions! They are really similar to grass when it comes to chewing & eating and can be easily digested by a human body. Obviously this won't work for everyone but yea ^^

Kie and the Bee

Today was one of the days where all of the Pogues could be together and just lay around without a care in the world. The group opted on a picnic in a semi-secluded field, somewhere the regressors could run around freely and play as they wished and the group could all have some peace. JJ and Kiara were regressed and content, holding hands and running off as soon as they'd made it to the field.

The non-regressed members of the group sat around the large picnic blanket, munching on snacks and chatting away. Kiara and JJ were crouched in the grass picking flowers when a sharp cry interrupts the peaceful air. The caregivers all sit up quickly, attention snapping towards the littles.

Kiara sits in the grass some feet away, holding her leg as JJ ran to them. JJ quickly informs them that she'd been stung by a bee, and Pope and Sarah react quickly. They hurry over to the girl who clutches her leg tightly and has tears streaming down her cheeks. She wants to call to Sarah, but the only thing that comes out of her mouth is a whimper as she reaches a hand out to her caregiver.

"Hey, hey, hey princess," Sarah shushes her, petting her hair and kissing her head. Kiara whimpers as Pope moves her hands away from her leg so that he can look for himself. Sure enough, a large red welt is forming on her calf.

Pope looks at her sympathetically, knowing the pain of it is probably doubled now that she's in her younger headspace. But the bee stinger is still inside her leg.

"I'm gonna pull the stinger out, okay?" he tells her.

For a split second she wants to protest, but she knew that if anybody knew what they were doing it was Pope, so she allows him to quickly pull the stinger out of her leg. As soon as it's done, she's scrambling into Sarah's arms, silently begging the blonde to hold her. Sarah coos at the baby, rubbing her back in gentle circles.

"C'mon Kie, let's go take care of that sting, okay?" Pope gently pulls her from Sarah so that he can pick the girl up, knowing Sarah probably would've struggled to get up with her. Kiara is pliant and allows Pope to scoop her up, sniffling cutely as she's taken back to the picnic blanket, where Cleo and John B are there to shower her with even more affection.

Pope rinses the sting with a bottle of water and Sarah gives Kiara a pain pill. She pulls the little into her chest and runs her fingers through her hair until Kiara feels better enough to go back to playing with JJ.

Yes, this is something I did very much want myself. My name, Kala, was given to me. I wanted a name that was given to me, not in the way a human names a pet, but in the way that humans name a lot of cetaceans in their care. I wanted a name that would feel like one someone would give to a cetacean. I wanted something though that would not have a meaning to me, simply be a collection of human sounds. There was a calf in one of my servers and I do not remember if she was a little or someone who would age regress and when she was I would act towards her much like a mother. She gave me name. I think she may have been speaking toki pona calling me Kala, but that became my name. It may have meaning in toki pona or finnish (and I do know of those translations) but it does not have a meaningful translation in my head just a collection of human sounds that would not be unreasonable to find among names for captive cetaceans. That it was given to me by the closest thing I can probably have to a calf of my own makes it very meaningful.

OKAY NONHUMAN QUESTION TIME - do any of y'all ever wish that others would name you instead of choosing your own name? There seems something inherently human in choosing a name to me; I've always wanted to have my name selected by other people as if I was an animal who would not consider that itself. Not even in a dog way; wild animals too receive names from humans, though of course domestic animals come immediately to mind.

Any other alterhumans wish that humans would give them names?
