What I like about this book was that as the story goes on the characters reveal more about themselves but they have many juicy secrets along the way. The Candymakers is a book told from four different perspectives. Logan, Daisy, Miles, and Phillip are literally kids in a candy factory. The twelve year-old contestants have a tricky task ahead of them as they are challenged to create the world's best new candy. When the contest comes around, it turns out that there is a lot more at stake than loosing a candy contest. The candy factory that Logan's Grandfather founded could be put out of business! The only way to save Life Is Sweet is for... Well, I shouldn't tell you that! Anyway, the kids need to protect the factory from Phillip's Father. The Candymakers is a great book. It is easy to read, difficult to put down, and very interesting.
