character who takes 45 minutes showers: you know what? Denna. She looks like she has an intense beauty routine.

character who gets most bent out of shape over the pronunciation of gif: Darken Rahl. he throws fits about it. Probably kills people over it too.

character i’d like to see have an emotional breakdown: oh boy. Adora, always. but also Catra, for obvious (gay) reasons

character most likely to sing along to journey songs in the car: Bow my sweet boy. Glimmer is both endeared and annoyed :’)

character who refuses to pull over and ask for directions on roadtrips: Mermista has that kind of energy…

character who changes their starbucks order ten times: Perfuma… too many options, hard to choose between organic fair trade coffee and gluten free cookies and cool herbal tea and so many vegan milk possibilities….

character who shows up late for everything: CANONICALLY THE PRINCESSES. But I’m gonna go with Entrapta cause she’s too easily distracted to ever be on time.

character who is the worst kisser: I mean… I’m just gonna go with Lord Hordak, cause ew.

character who takes 45 minutes showers: you know what, Queen Angella has a lot to deal with, she probably deserves long nice relaxing showers. And a spa day.

character who gets most bent out of shape over the pronunciation of gif:  GLIMMER. She’s ready to throw down over it tbh.

Hey! :) Anemone, gardenia, hydrangea, rose, sunflower, daisy, violet, lavender please. And lilac: where do you find inspiration for your plots? I'm thinking of "The Daughters of Avalon" in particular. A unique story I thoroughly enjoyed. Have a nice flight!

anemone: how old were you when you first started writing?

I was thirteen when I first started. Kinda dove straight in the deep end and published online some truly shocking original works, then moved to fanfic, and sort of improved from there. 

gardenia: what is the setting in which you write best?

I’m assuming you mean location wise of me physically writing: Usually my bedroom, late at night, after 11pm to 3am, lights low, headphones on, dog lying next to me. I’m trying to break this habit though, as it takes its toll on work the next day. 

hydrangea: what inspired you to begin writing in the first place?

My health meant I was limited to my bed/house for a number of years, and I just wanted to escape the reality of that, so started writing. It was a really good way of ‘living’ while having my life on hold. 

rose: which of your works is your favorite? why?

I have a love for so many of them. It’s really hard to pick. Potential is slowly becoming my favourite, but there are still some Glee ones I wrote that I adore. I still believe I did my best writing in the Glee fandom. 

sunflower: what is the best feedback/compliment you’ve ever received regarding your writing? 

Already answered this; but again, it’s normally the ones which either quote parts of the fic they loved, especially if its the lines I was aiming to be funny, and the joke landed, or the really angsty moments that I don’t think are that angsty; or the ones that have so much enthusiasm!

daisy: would you ever consider a career in writing? 

Yes, I would. I’m trying to become a better writer in the hope that one day, I can make this an additional career. I don’t see it ever being financially sustainable as a career, but as an add on, yeah. 

violet: do you read a lot?

I try to. But it’s mostly fic. I need to buy more lgbt+ books, as I find I lose interest in others. And I think some fiction is good, but there are some fanfic writers that are amazing. I’d rather read the amazing works. 

lavender: what is the most important thing to you as a writer?

That the plot is realistic, even in its absurdity, and the characters react appropriately to that setting. As well as the dialogue being real, believable. My work might have some ridiculous plots, but I want the reader to believe it’s ‘real’. 

lilac: where do you find inspiration for your plots? I'm thinking of "The Daughters of Avalon" in particular.

Oh gosh, I loved writing that fic! Now that is one of my favourites!!! Someone mentioned Auror Quinn, and a HP cross-over; so I thought about doing that, but I wanted it different from all the other HP/Glee cross-overs there were, which meant pulling in another idea. I just so happened to be watching the final season of Merlin at the time (with the stunning Katie McGrath as Morgana), and that had me reading up on the myths and legends surrounding Morganna, and that sparked this idea of Morganna, or Morgan le Fey, who is one of nine sisters on Avalon - isle of apples - who was a witch, and how the sisters could fly, hence why Raven had the bird tattoo, why apples were important to the story, why wales was mentioned, why there were only nine sisters etc. So really, I know I came up with the plot, but it was inspired by myth and legends. 

For a lot of my other fics, I try take cliche and change it - not always successful, but expanding that original idea to be something more, like above.

1. Rosehip tea: Which book did you love when you were younger?I have lots! Recently I re-read l'oeil du loup by Daniel Pennac and it’s still one of my favourites. It’s pretty special to me because it was my 7th birthday gift while we were on holidays in Scotland. There’s a funny picture of me on my dad’s shoulders, reading it (using his head as a book stand) instead of paying attention to my surroundings while we were visiting the castle in Edinburgh.

2. Oolong tea: Which book series could you read again?I’m nearly finished with his dark materials and i’m enjoying it a lot! I hope I can get to the new book after my semester ends. Otherwise I’d really like to re-read earthsea by ursula le guin, i started it when I was 10 and read the first 2 volumes, then I lost my dad’s copy and felt terrible about it so I never asked for a new one and didn’t finish it

3. Rooibos: What is one of you favourite books?This is so hard 😩 I honestly don’t think I can decide? maybe Pierre Bottero’s work as a whole.

16. Hibiscus tea: What is a song you can always hear?Very few! I tend to cycle through artists and genres. I’ve had ‘Girl’ by the Internet and ‘Drops’ by Jungle as my alarm clock ringtones for months and I still like them so I guess that counts? Also my most played on iTunes is unsurprisingly a sufjan stevens song

17. Flowering tea: What is a movie you can always watch?The dark crystal! My parents had the soundtrack on CD and it was always one of my favourite things to put on and dance to, along with an obscure punk band from montpellier. I saw the film multiple times as a child and it’s my favourite thing to watch when I’m having a bad day. It’s the kind of weird and charming fantasy I love and wish was still popular today.

18. Pu-erh tea: What is a book you can recommend to others?I’ll go with Aristotle and Dante because I’ve offered a copy to at least 2 people including my mum! It’s a very beautiful book.

19. Turkish tea: What is your favourite cake?My grandma’s clafoutis aux cerises :) Also carrot cake!And my girlfriend loves baking and makes really good banana bread, and we might do that this weekend

20. Green tea: What was the first movie you saw in a cinema?I absolutely can’t remember! I have vague memories of having seen one lord of the rings film, either the 2nd or 3rd, at a fancy cinema with my best friend and her mum

23. Butter tea: Show / Tell me about one thing in your room you find awesome.Mmh… I love all the plants I have on my windowsill, one succulent was a gift from a very old friend, and my mum gave me orchids :) I also love the artwork on the wall. I might post pictures later

25. 24 flavors: What is your favourite word?This is too hard!! I know I made a list in french at some point. It had sempiternel, gribouillis and salsepareille.Also, I asked my girlfriend for help and she started singing the Mary Poppins song, and then she said ‘what about titty’

28. Cloud tea: Which movie do you want to watch next? I haven’t seen my flatmate in about a week because I’m a terrible flatmate and I’ve been staying with my girlfriend, but he told me he wanted to see the shape of water so I’m going to ask him if we can go together!

Wow, that’s a lot! I’m pretty tired so I’m only going to do the last one for now, but I definitely like the third one too (WTF moments in my teaching life) so I’ll think on it and post my Top 5 later.

I mean, yes and no… YES ALL OF THEM is an easy answer, but also no, because i only follow/read stuff from people i find interesting and also not horrible? 

K - What character has your favorite development arc/the best development arc?

If we’re going older fandom, I have to say Faith Lehane, BTVS, my all time fave, poor self-loathing lonely traumatized child, who’s done terrible things and just really wanted to be loved and to belong, and who went through a hell of a redemption arc to become good.  

For a more recent fave, Blake Belladonna, RWBY. Kid who ran away from her parents, joined an extremist group for the right reasons but eventually turned her back on the gratuitous violence and tried to find other ways to better the world? Young girl who was manipulated and emotionally abused by an older guy she had a crush on, and who is still working through all the trauma? Teenager whose preferred method of coping is running away and pushing people out, but she’s growing, one step at a time? HELLO I LOVE HER AND SHE DESERVES THE WORLD

U - Three favorite characters from three different fandoms, and why they’re your favorites.

Korra, Legend of Korra: brave and stubborn and an idiot and also smart and beautiful and everything to me.

Clarke Griffin, the 100:  my manipulative jerk daughter, terrifying child and also the saddest girl in the world

Alec Hardison, Leverage: the literal heart of the show, both a genius, a nerd, a genuinely kind compassionate person, and the funniest character in the show

I relate to Beauregard, from critical role, in that she’s fucking gay.

that korrasami slowburn starting as early as book 3: good! I also loved the animation (impressive fight scenes!), the miyazaki references and the music. tltr: I love this show with all my heart and I'm very emotional about my daught korra

EXCUSE YOU THE SLOWBURN STARTED IN BOOK 1 asami was flirting with korra and taking her to a car race and korra was literally like “what is this feeling...oh it must be loathing and jealousy”

Ben la dernière fois j'avais eu éliminatoire encore lol. La seule remarque qu'elle m'a faite c'est parce qu'à un moment j'étais à 75 au lieu de 70 sur une portion de rocade, tout le reste niquel, donc si c'est pas trop des chiens ils vont bien finir par avoir pitié de moi !

Je croise les doigts pour toi aussi alors ! La première fois j'avais super bien conduit, mieux que quand j'étais en conduite, juste UNE putain de faute éliminatoire... J'espère que je vais pas refaire un truc comme ça parce que j'en ai marre :p
