Tagged by @clove-pinks to list 5 topics I can talk on for an hour without preparing any material -- this is hard because I feel like I am not an expert on anything but here we go (also thank you for the tag, this is a really interesting one!)

1920s Surrealism and French art and cinema -- this is not hte cinema I watch as much anymore but this is what I wrote about in school and was a major obsession for me -- especially: Jean Painlevé, Jean Vigo, Antonin Artaud; Claude Cahun, Jean Cocteau, Jean Epstein

The Wars of the Roses -- particularly my faves Richard III and Anne Neville -- the 1400s are a favourite period of mine and these are some of my favourite historical figures

Greta Garbo -- By extension 1930s Hollywood cinema -- this is my current obsession, I love her. Old cinema is my top interest since I was in my teens but that's a very broad topic, to make it more specific I could go on about 1928-1933 for hours

Food -- recipes -- historical food -- I love reading historic cookbooks and trying the recipes. I like to imagine what things have tasted like in history. This ranges from medieval to mid century modern

Found footage horror films -- horror cinema -- one of my favourite genres is found footage, I feel it is cinema at its purest (when it's done well)!
