I finished a remake of Sleat's ref!!

Sleat Sizzletail is a Grumpus in New Grump City. She's most prominent Post-Snaktooth, and meets the expedition team after the events of the game.

Sleat is your typical shy introverted artist with less than supportive parents. They love her, but thinks she won't be successful with her dreams (sculpting).

So, she decided to enter college as an engineer because she's abnormally good at math.

However, during her first year of college, she meets Chandlo, and he's super supportive of her art journey. It comes to a point where she decides to take art classes then just math/physics.

Then Chandlo invites her to a party, a party that's supposed to be only the expedition team, but Chandlo thought it would be fine (Also Snorpy didn't oppose).

That's how Sleat got mixed up with the expedition team and met both Beffica and Floofty.

Beffica befriends Sleat to she if she has a few secrets she hides under a shy, introverted exterior, only to find out that Sleat is genuinely a good, but lonely Grumpus, longing for connection and support.

Floofty is interested in Sleat's multi-colored fur, something only ancient Grumpuses have, but they find out that Sleat is actually smart in math/science, and also her need to be useful in a ways.

Also bonus doodle describing her and her partner's relationship lol

yes i drew them all as young adults since they’re just headshots floating in a void LOL

this is insane and i probably will never finish it BUT i kinda want to draw little headshots of the entire callery-aiken clan and make a huge family tree illustration with them. but i get distracted and bored super easily so i cant promise anything lolll

RAYGARTA ART DUMP GO 🫳🫳 (They're mostly doodle pages)

Mostly angst and a sprinkle of swap AU. Lagarta and Rayman are pretty similar and parallel each other, so I think it makes sense 🫶

Also a bit of Rayman and Lagarta bonding over their broken past.

Speaking of their broken past...

I gave Lagarta sister issues, so why can't I give Rayman mommy issues?? I already paralleled them enough 💞

I do like the idea of Betilla being a lowkey buns mom. She literally made other versions of him when he failed in my mind lol.

But here's something more wholesome:

Lagarta can't swim! She has too much fur so it weighs her down. She can barely float despite having no limbs.

It also takes forever to dry her. She's gonna be damp for the next few hours.

It stinks because Rayman loves to swim, so that's a yikes.
