the vague things for their voices are:
laura has a high range, not classically trained, and peppy. it eventually becomes smoother and she ends up singing more ballad like songs in the 70s
dominique has a low voice, also not classically trained and she can be a little awkward/offkey. she gets better as her career goes on but still sticks to songwriting as her main forte
jackie IS classically trained, and shes a soprano. i imagine she was aiming to be a broadway star before she settled. she loves showing off her range, and always takes the high part of harmonies
layla has some training but shes not super well practiced before the band. shes has a lower voice but not quite as low as dom's, so like mezzo soprano i think.
lolly, who i totally didn't forget at first, also has a lower voice. she struggles to hit the same high notes as laura & jackie but loves singing. did choir as a kid
cecilia is, uh. i dont know. no vocal training, i think her voice is rough sounding but genuine. courtney love's voice is usually what i imagine. and then becca has kind of just your average voice? mezzo soprano, really simple, but she doesnt sing for them beyond backing vocals so

[ID: a drawing of cecilia coyote, op's original character, a tan coyote with lighter beige markings. she's wearing a black sweater, off-white skirt, and black flats. she's standing with her arms limp, fists clenched with anger. she stares ahead with an unreadable expression. shaking lines by her fist and leg are accentuated in red. purple, drooping text to her left and right that reads: "someday you will / ache like i ache." behind her is a shadow similar to a silhouette, with darker shadows behind her head. /end ID]
he only loves those things because he loves to see them break
