pondering fledgling learning curves and i like to think kindred with clans have vitae that’s more bespoke streamlined software—it naturally takes to their clan’s favored disciplines, which is why you have to feed from another if you want to learn something outside of your clan. you are basically downloading an .exe

caitiff imo are ‘born’ with like open source spaghetti code for vitae. you’re not thinblooded you’ve got the whole setup, all the RAM, and can do whatever the hell you want with it but girl there are no readme’s or manuals in here (and your sire likely abandoned you)—it’s going to be a lot of trial and error. probably why most only spec in two disciplines as fledglings rather than three. i imagine they get it a little easier with whatever their sire’s clan is predisposed to (sol is good with blorcery for example) but the rest……
