The Daily Life of a Leader
Chaewon and the rollercoaster she calls life since becoming leader of Le Sserafim.
Fluff
Kim Chaewon x sixth member fem!reader
Word count: 3.2k
Back from the dead for Christmas!

____________________
The sun had barely risen, and the dorm was quiet except for the faint hum of the refrigerator in the kitchen. Kim Chaewon stretched as she shuffled out of her room, her hair slightly disheveled but her mind already racing through the day’s agenda. With a yawn, she grabbed her favorite mug and poured herself a cup of coffee, its warmth helping her shake off the remnants of sleep.
The quiet mornings were her time to prepare—not just for herself, but for her members. Leadership wasn’t just a title for Chaewon; it was a responsibility she embraced wholeheartedly. Between rehearsals, variety shows, and managing their shared living space, there was always something to think about.
She glanced at the group calendar on her phone. “Dance practice at 10, a meeting with the stylists at 2… oh, and Eunchae has that school thing later,” she murmured to herself, mentally adding a note to remind their youngest about her outfit.
The sound of footsteps broke her thoughts. Yunjin trudged into the kitchen, her hair in a lopsided bun and her hoodie hanging off one shoulder.
“Morning, unnie,” Yunjin mumbled, reaching for the cereal box.
“Morning. Sleep well?” Chaewon asked, taking a sip of her coffee.
Yunjin shrugged. “I think I dreamt about forgetting the choreography again. You know, typical idol nightmares.”
Chaewon chuckled. “Well, good thing we have practice later. I’ll make sure you don’t forget anything.”
Before long, the dorm was alive with noise. Sakura appeared next, already dressed and looking composed as ever. Kazuha followed shortly, her bedhead contrasting her poised demeanor. Eunchae bounded into the room last, full of energy, already singing a random song she had likely made up on the spot.
As the leader, Chaewon found herself playing multiple roles at once. She was a scheduler, a referee, a motivator, and sometimes even a nagging older sister.
“Eunchae, you have school later—don’t forget your uniform,” she called out over the chatter.
“Kazuha, let’s go over that spin move before practice, okay?”
“Yunjin, eat something healthy with that cereal.”
“Sakura unnie, can you help me remind everyone about the stylists’ meeting this afternoon?”
Each member responded in their own way: Eunchae saluted dramatically, Kazuha nodded with a soft smile, Yunjin pouted, and Sakura gave a knowing laugh.
As chaotic as mornings could be, these moments grounded Chaewon. Watching her members interact—their banter, their laughter, their quirks—reminded her why she loved this job. It wasn’t always easy being a leader, but for them, it was worth it.
With a deep breath, she smiled. “Alright, everyone, let’s get moving. We’ve got a busy day ahead.”
And just like that, the day began, each moment a new challenge and a new joy.
-----
Sakura
In the chaos of idol life, there was one person Chaewon could always rely on to keep things steady: Sakura. As the oldest member of the group, Sakura had a quiet wisdom about her, paired with years of experience in the industry that Chaewon deeply respected.
The two had developed an unspoken rhythm over time. Chaewon led with energy and drive, while Sakura balanced it with calm and level-headedness. Together, they were like yin and yang—opposite forces that worked in harmony to keep Le Sserafim running smoothly.
This particular morning, Chaewon found Sakura sitting cross-legged on the living room couch, scrolling through her phone. A half-finished cup of green tea sat on the coffee table in front of her.
“Unnie,” Chaewon began, plopping down beside her. “Have you looked at the setlist for tomorrow’s showcase yet? I feel like the transitions need some tweaking.”
Sakura looked up and gave her a small smile. “I did. I think you’re right. The first three songs flow well, but the tempo shift between the third and fourth feels abrupt. We can bring it up in practice later.”
Chaewon sighed in relief. “I knew you’d catch that too. Thanks for always being on top of things, unnie.”
Sakura chuckled softly. “That’s my job as your unofficial second-in-command, right?”
The two shared a laugh. Despite their teasing, there was a mutual understanding between them. Sakura had always been someone Chaewon could vent to when the weight of leadership felt too heavy.
“Remember when we were first deciding on positions in the group?” Sakura reminisced, setting her phone aside. “You were so nervous about being the leader.”
Chaewon rolled her eyes, though a sheepish grin crept onto her face. “Of course I was nervous! It’s a lot of pressure, unnie. And back then, I thought you should’ve been the leader. You had way more experience than I did.”
“But you’re perfect for it,” Sakura said with a sincerity that made Chaewon pause. “You care about everyone. You’re proactive, and you lead by example. The members trust you because they see how much effort you put in.”
Chaewon looked down at her hands, feeling a warmth spread through her chest. “Thanks, unnie. That means a lot coming from you.”
Sakura reached over and gave Chaewon’s hand a light squeeze. “Anytime. Just don’t forget that you’re not alone. You have all of us to lean on, especially me.”
Their conversation was interrupted by the sound of Yunjin shouting from the kitchen, “WHO FINISHED THE MILK?!”
Sakura and Chaewon burst into laughter, the serious moment giving way to their usual dynamic.
“Should we go help her?” Sakura asked, though she didn’t seem in any rush to get up.
“Nah,” Chaewon replied, leaning back into the couch. “Let her figure it out. It’s good character development.”
Sakura laughed again, shaking her head. “You’re terrible.”
“Maybe,” Chaewon said with a grin. “But I’m your terrible leader.”
And in that moment, as they sat side by side, Chaewon was reminded of just how lucky she was to have someone like Sakura by her side.
-----
Yunjin
If Sakura was Chaewon’s reliable confidant, Yunjin was her ultimate test of patience—and a never-ending source of entertainment. As the group’s resident ball of energy and mischief, Yunjin brought a whirlwind of unpredictability into Chaewon’s otherwise meticulously planned days.
“YAH! Huh Yunjin!” Chaewon’s voice echoed through the dorm as she burst into the kitchen, where Yunjin stood in front of the open fridge, a tub of kimchi in one hand and a plate of half-eaten toast in the other.
Yunjin blinked at her innocently. “What? I didn’t finish the milk this time!”
Chaewon crossed her arms, glaring at the crumbs scattered all over the countertop. “No, but you left the rice cooker open, the soy sauce lid off, and—what is that?!” She pointed at the monstrosity on Yunjin’s plate.
“It’s my famous kimchi-toast combo!” Yunjin declared proudly, holding it up as if she were presenting a Michelin-star dish.
“That’s not famous. That’s disgusting.”
“Don’t knock it ‘til you try it, Captain!” Yunjin teased, shoving the plate in Chaewon’s direction.
Chaewon groaned, pinching the bridge of her nose. “How are you like this? How do you function?”
“I’m a genius in disguise,” Yunjin replied with a wink, taking a huge bite of her bizarre creation.
Despite the frustration bubbling in Chaewon’s chest, she couldn’t help but chuckle. That was the thing about Yunjin—no matter how chaotic she got, she had an infectious charm that made it impossible to stay mad at her.
Later that day, during practice, Yunjin’s antics continued. As the group worked on choreography, Chaewon kept a sharp eye on every member, her leader instincts in full force.
“Yunjin, straighten your arms on the spin!” Chaewon called out.
“Got it!” Yunjin shouted back, only to immediately trip over her own feet and fall into Kazuha, who stumbled but miraculously stayed upright.
The room erupted into laughter, and even Chaewon had to bite back a smile. Yunjin, sprawled on the floor, looked up with a sheepish grin. “Okay, so maybe I need to work on my spins.”
Chaewon shook her head, hands on her hips. “You think?”
But even as she scolded her, Chaewon extended a hand to help Yunjin up. “Let’s try again. And this time, focus.”
“Yes, ma’am!” Yunjin saluted dramatically, earning another round of laughter from the group.
After practice, as they packed up to leave, Yunjin sidled up to Chaewon with a sly grin. “You know, you’d miss me if I wasn’t around to mess things up.”
Chaewon raised an eyebrow. “Would I?”
“You would,” Yunjin said confidently. “Who else would keep you on your toes? You’d get bored without me.”
Chaewon sighed but couldn’t suppress the small smile tugging at her lips. “Fine, maybe a little. But don’t let it go to your head.”
“Too late!” Yunjin chirped, skipping ahead to catch up with the others.
Chaewon watched her go, shaking her head. Yunjin was chaos incarnate, but she was also a vital part of what made their group feel like home. And as much as Chaewon hated to admit it, Yunjin was right—things wouldn’t be the same without her.
-----
Kazuha
If Yunjin was a whirlwind, Kazuha was the calm after the storm—a steady and composed presence that Chaewon often found herself relying on more than she realized. The ballerina-turned-idol possessed an effortless elegance that contrasted with Chaewon’s more intense energy, and their dynamic had a certain balance that was hard to put into words.
It was late one evening when Chaewon walked into the dorms living room, finding Kazuha sitting cross-legged on the floor with a book in her lap. A pair of earphones dangled around her neck, and her brow furrowed as she studied the pages.
“Kazuha, what are you doing?” Chaewon asked, curious.
Kazuha looked up, her serene expression breaking into a small smile. “Studying Korean idioms. Some of them are so strange.”
Chaewon chuckled, plopping down beside her. “Yeah, idioms can be tricky. Which one is confusing you?”
“This one,” Kazuha said, pointing at the page. “‘Climbing up the stairs backward.’ What does that even mean?”
Chaewon grinned. “It means you’re doing something inefficiently or in a roundabout way.”
Kazuha blinked. “Oh... so, kind of like how Yunjin dances sometimes?”
Chaewon burst out laughing, covering her mouth. “Exactly like that. You’re catching on.”
Moments like these reminded Chaewon of how much Kazuha had grown since joining the group. From her initial shyness to her quiet confidence now, Kazuha was a pillar of strength in her own understated way.
During practice, this became even more apparent. Chaewon was always impressed by Kazuha’s discipline, a trait she carried over from her ballet background. But it wasn’t just her work ethic that stood out—it was her ability to stay calm under pressure, something Chaewon deeply admired.
“Kazuha, can you try that move again? Just a bit sharper this time,” Chaewon said as the group rehearsed.
Kazuha nodded, adjusting her position. She repeated the move with precision, earning a satisfied nod from Chaewon.
“Perfect,” Chaewon said. “You’re always so consistent.”
Kazuha smiled softly. “It’s because you’re a good leader. You give clear instructions.”
Chaewon blinked, caught off guard by the compliment. “Oh… well, thank you. That means a lot.”
It was rare for Kazuha to be so direct with her praise, but when she was, it felt deeply sincere.
Later that night, as the members settled down after practice, Kazuha approached Chaewon with two steaming mugs of tea. “You looked tired, so I made this for you,” she said, handing one to the leader.
Chaewon accepted the mug, her heart warming at the gesture. “Thanks, Zuha. You didn’t have to do this.”
“I wanted to,” Kazuha replied simply, sitting down beside her.
They sipped their tea in comfortable silence, the quiet camaraderie between them speaking volumes.
“You know,” Chaewon said after a moment, “you’re like the glue that holds us together sometimes. Your calmness keeps the rest of us grounded.”
Kazuha tilted her head, a small, thoughtful smile gracing her lips. “And you’re the one who makes us feel safe. You’re our leader.”
Chaewon smiled, her chest tightening with gratitude. Kazuha’s words were few, but they carried so much weight.
“Thank you, Zuha,” Chaewon said softly.
As the two sat together, Chaewon realized that while Kazuha might not be as loud or dramatic as some of the others, her quiet strength was an invaluable part of their group—and Chaewon was endlessly grateful for it.
-----
Eunchae
If Chaewon ever found herself feeling overwhelmed by the pressures of leadership, she knew there was one person who could pull her out of it—Eunchae, the group’s irrepressible ball of energy.
From the moment they’d met, Eunchae had made it her unofficial mission to bring a smile to Chaewon’s face, whether through her endless teasing, playful antics, or dramatic declarations of love.
“Unnie, you’re so serious all the time,” Eunchae whined one morning as Chaewon organized the day’s schedule. “How can you live like that?”
Chaewon glanced up from her notes, unimpressed. “Someone has to be serious, or this group would fall apart.”
Eunchae gasped, clutching her chest as if she’d been mortally wounded. “Are you saying I don’t contribute to the group’s stability?”
“Not in the way you think,” Chaewon deadpanned, but the corners of her mouth twitched upward despite herself.
Eunchae noticed immediately. “Ha! You smiled! I knew I could do it!”
“Don’t get cocky,” Chaewon muttered, trying to hide her amusement.
Their dynamic was a constant push and pull—Eunchae poking and prodding Chaewon’s composed exterior, and Chaewon pretending not to enjoy it. But deep down, Chaewon adored the maknae’s boundless energy and infectious positivity.
During rehearsals, Eunchae’s mischievous streak often made an appearance. One time, as Chaewon was demonstrating a particularly difficult dance move, Eunchae snuck up behind her and mimicked her every motion, exaggerating them for comedic effect.
The room erupted in laughter, and Chaewon spun around, glaring at Eunchae. “Do you want extra practice tonight?” she threatened, though there was no real malice in her voice.
Eunchae grinned, unrepentant. “You’re just mad because I did it better.”
“Better?” Chaewon scoffed, her lips twitching. “You’re lucky I like you.”
“I knew it!” Eunchae crowed, earning another round of laughter from the other members.
Despite her playful nature, Eunchae had a knack for sensing when Chaewon needed a break. One evening, as Chaewon sat in the living room, her shoulders tense from a long day, Eunchae plopped down beside her with a bag of snacks.
“Here,” Eunchae said, holding out a chip. “Eat this. It’s scientifically proven to cure stress.”
Chaewon raised an eyebrow but accepted the chip. “Is that so?”
“Yep,” Eunchae said confidently, munching on one herself. “I read it on the internet. And the internet never lies.”
Chaewon snorted, her tension easing as they shared the snacks.
For all her teasing, Eunchae’s affection for Chaewon was unmistakable. One night, after a particularly grueling day, Eunchae approached Chaewon with uncharacteristic seriousness.
“Unnie,” she said softly, “you’re doing a really good job. I know we don’t say it enough, but we all see how hard you work for us. And we’re really grateful.”
Chaewon blinked, caught off guard by the heartfelt words. “Eunchae…”
“Don’t get used to it,” Eunchae said quickly, her usual playfulness returning. “I still think you’re a boring old lady most of the time.”
Chaewon rolled her eyes but couldn’t hide her smile. “You’re impossible.”
“And you love it,” Eunchae quipped, leaning against Chaewon’s shoulder.
Chaewon sighed, but there was no mistaking the warmth in her voice. “Yeah, I do.”
Moments like these reminded Chaewon that, for all of Eunchae’s teasing, the maknae’s lightheartedness was an essential part of their group’s dynamic—and of Chaewon’s own sanity.
-----
y/n
If Chaewon’s life as a leader could be described as controlled chaos, then y/n was the quiet reprieve she didn’t realize she needed. Where the other members brought challenges, energy, or playfulness, y/n brought balance—a steady presence in the whirlwind of idol life.
From the start, there had been an undeniable connection between them. y/n had joined the group later than the others, but it didn’t take long for her to settle into the dynamic. Chaewon was impressed by how seamlessly y/n adapted, how effortlessly she picked up choreography, and how she never let the pressure rattle her.
“You make it look so easy,” Chaewon had commented one day during practice, watching y/n nail a particularly tricky move.
y/n had laughed, wiping the sweat from her brow. “Trust me, it’s not. I just have a good teacher.”
The compliment caught Chaewon off guard, and she found herself smiling, a faint blush coloring her cheeks.
From that moment, Chaewon began noticing little things about y/n—the way she always made sure everyone had water during rehearsals, the way she seemed to instinctively know when Chaewon needed a break, and the way her laugh could cut through even the most stressful day.
But what really stood out was the way y/n treated her. To the others, Chaewon was their reliable leader, someone to lean on and respect. But y/n treated her as… Chaewon. Just Chaewon.
One evening, after a long day of schedules, Chaewon and y/n found themselves alone in the dorm’s kitchen. Chaewon was mindlessly scrolling through her phone while y/n prepared a late-night snack.
“Want some?” y/n offered, holding out a plate of toast topped with avocado and a sprinkle of chili flakes.
Chaewon hesitated but nodded, accepting a piece. “Thanks.”
y/n grinned. “Careful, it’s spicy.”
Chaewon took a bite, only to immediately start coughing as the heat hit her. y/n burst out laughing, handing her a glass of water.
“You could’ve warned me!” Chaewon choked, glaring at y/n through watery eyes.
“I did!” y/n protested, still laughing. “I said it was spicy!”
Chaewon tried to stay mad but found herself laughing along. “You’re impossible.”
“And yet, you keep me around,” y/n teased, a playful glint in her eye.
It was moments like these that made Chaewon’s feelings for y/n harder to ignore. She wasn’t sure when it started—when the casual glances turned into lingering stares, or when their late-night conversations became the highlight of her day. All she knew was that y/n made her feel seen in a way no one else did.
One night, as they sat on the dorm’s balcony watching the city lights, y/n turned to Chaewon with a soft smile.
“You’ve been quiet tonight,” y/n said, her voice gentle. “What’s on your mind?”
Chaewon hesitated, her fingers fidgeting with the hem of her sweater. “Just… everything. Being a leader, keeping things together. It feels like a lot sometimes.”
y/n reached out, her hand brushing against Chaewon’s. “You don’t have to carry it all alone, you know. We’re here for you. I’m here for you.”
The sincerity in y/n’s voice made Chaewon’s heart flutter. She looked down at their intertwined fingers, her breath hitching.
“y/n,” Chaewon started, her voice barely above a whisper. “I don’t think I say this enough, but… you mean a lot to me.”
y/n’s eyes softened, her grip on Chaewon’s hand tightening slightly. “You mean a lot to me too, Chaewon. More than you probably realize.”
The air between them grew heavy with unspoken words, but Chaewon couldn’t bring herself to look away. Slowly, tentatively, y/n leaned in, her gaze searching hers for permission.
Chaewon’s breath caught, but she didn’t pull away. Instead, she closed the gap, her lips meeting y/n’s in a soft, lingering kiss.
When they finally pulled apart, y/n chuckled, her forehead resting against Chaewon’s. “So… does this mean I’m your favorite member now?”
Chaewon rolled her eyes, but her smile gave her away. “Don’t push your luck.”
y/n grinned, pressing another quick kiss to her cheek. “Worth a shot.”
As they sat there, the city lights twinkling around them, Chaewon realized that, for the first time in a long time, she felt at peace. With y/n by her side, she wasn’t just a leader—she was simply Chaewon.
And that was more than enough.

//Other things you can headcanon around your favorite boxers besides their favorite cereals, video games, shoe sizes, trans and gender, ships, Pokemon, etc:
Their favorite places to go within their birth cities.
Their favorite locally made movies (as in made in their country).
Their favorite local celebrities (from their own countries).
Their favorite local dishes (from their own countries).
The foreign country they want to go and why.
What other languages they can speak (that is not English or the featured language in the game).
Yes, there is a pattern here.
Part of why I absolutely love Punch-Out!! as a game series is how the boxers are internationally represented, even through national stereotypes. But national stereotypes can be fun and even embraced--as a Californian, I embrace Super Macho Man with all my heart. And you can indulge in stereotypes WITHOUT being racist.
I love Great Tiger in particular of all the Punch-Out!! boxers is because his stats and character themes suggest a very interesting background--no Hindu or Vedic imagery, even WITH clones (no multi-heads or arms imagery; the closest you get is Tiger connecting with nature and space), the building he was floating out of appears to be a gurdwara, the composer of his music is Punjabi, and though he comes from Mumbai, he speaks Hindi (when he could have spoken Marathi or Punjabi instead). Not to mention in the NES, Doc Louis has told Little Mac that Tiger's father was a magician. So there is SO much material to work with beyond just his clones.
I know folks are not willing to go the extra mile to do their research, or that research bores them to tears, but I still recommend going that extra mile on your headcanons of your favorite boxers. Glass Joe is not a 15 year old American high schooler, he's a 38 year old Frenchman. Von Kaiser is 42 and from Berlin. Soda is 35 and from Moscow. The headcanons are there, waiting, open for the filling.
It's an invitation to explore, not to avoid. It may feel like much, but trust me on this. Consider this your excuse to visit Madrid with Don Flamenco, who'll be more than happy to take you to other parts of Spain like Zaragoza, Sevilla, Pamplona, and Barcelona. Let Glass Joe talk your ears off on the beautiful fields of Province. Take in the sobering experiences of Von Kaiser living in post-WWII/Cold War Berlin.
If this doesn't help you fall more in love with your favorite boxers, then.... I don't know. You do you. You make your own fun. I'm just sad and lonely in my old people corner, lmao.

I Plead Guilty
"I am guilty of loving you"
Ch-1
It had been two years since EXO parted ways with SM Entertainment, embarking on a new chapter of independence and self-determination. In that time, Baekhyun successfully removed INB100 from under its former parent company, 100hundred, while Suho took a bold step forward by establishing EXO-PLANET, a company dedicated to overseeing the group’s collective activities.
With a shared vision for their future, Kyungsoo’s CompanySooSoo and Baekhyun’s INB100 became official subsidiaries of EXO-PLANET, each playing a crucial role in managing the members’ solo careers. INB100 took charge of Baekhyun, Xiumin, Chen, and Chanyeol, ensuring their individual artistic pursuits thrived, while CompanySooSoo provided dedicated support for Kyungsoo, Kai, Sehun, and Suho. Meanwhile, EXO-PLANET remained at the heart of it all, overseeing the band’s collective endeavors and ensuring their legacy remained intact.
The journey to reclaim their name and artistic identity, however, was far from easy. It had been a grueling legal battle—long, exhausting, and filled with challenges. Yet, the members stood united, fighting tirelessly to protect what they had built over the years. In the end, a settlement was reached: SM Entertainment would receive a mere 2% of the revenue generated from the songs released during their tenure under the company. It was a small price to pay for the freedom they had so fiercely pursued.
With their hard-earned independence secured, EXO now stood stronger than ever, free to shape their destiny on their own terms.
With their hard-earned independence secured, EXO now stood stronger than ever, free to shape their destiny on their own terms. The past two years had been a battle—both in and out of the courtroom—but the members had emerged victorious, united, and ready to move forward.
Despite the challenges, life as independent artists brought a renewed sense of excitement. The members found solace in the simple things: late-night studio sessions, brainstorming future projects, and most importantly, the camaraderie they had always cherished.
The night of their 15th-anniversary concert felt like the perfect culmination of everything they had fought for. The cheers of EXO-Ls still echoed in their minds, a reminder that their bond with their fans had only grown stronger over time.
The next morning, the EXO dorm was filled with the comforting sounds of laughter and clinking dishes as the members enjoyed breakfast together. The atmosphere was light, a stark contrast to the whirlwind of emotions from the previous night's concert. Kai sat at the table, absentmindedly swirling his spoon in his bowl of cereal while Sehun teased Baekhyun about his latest hair color experiment.
Suddenly, Suho’s phone buzzed on the table, interrupting the cheerful conversation. He glanced at the screen and saw the caller ID: Vice President Lee Min-soo. With a small sigh, he stood up, excusing himself from the table.
"Who is it, hyung?" Chanyeol asked through a mouthful of toast.
"Work," Suho replied simply, stepping into the hallway for privacy. He answered the call with his usual composed tone.
"Hello?"
A serious voice on the other end greeted him. "CEO-nim, there’s something you need to know."
Suho frowned. "Is it really that important? I’m having breakfast with the members right now."
"Yes, boss. It is."
Pinching the bridge of his nose, Suho leaned against the wall. "Okay. What is it?"
"I've received information that a girl is planning to go to court. She's claiming that unless she’s given 20 million won, she’s going to accuse Kai of getting her pregnant and abandoning her."
Suho froze, his heart skipping a beat. "...What?!" he nearly shouted, his voice echoing down the hall.
In the dining room, Kai and the others glanced toward him, startled by the sudden outburst.
Suho lowered his voice but couldn’t hide his disbelief. "Who is she?"
"Kim Si-un. Fourteen years old," Min-soo responded gravely.
Suho’s blood ran cold. "Fourteen?!" he repeated, struggling to comprehend the absurdity of the situation. "Why is a 14-year-old doing this?"
"We’re still investigating, but we can't guarantee she won’t take this to court even if we comply with her demands. I believe it would be wise for us to lawyer up immediately."
Suho rubbed his forehead in frustration. "This is insane… Alright. I’ll talk to Jongin and Kyungsoo. In the meantime, gather all the details you can and keep me updated. We need to handle this quietly and swiftly."
"Understood, CEO-nim."
Ending the call, Suho took a deep breath, steadying himself before walking back into the living room. His eyes locked onto Kai, who was laughing at something Baekhyun had said, completely unaware of the storm brewing.
"Jongin, Kyungsoo" Suho called, his tone firm but gentle.
Kai and Kyungsoo looked up, still chewing their food. "Yes, hyung?" kyungsoo responded, sensing the shift in Suho’s demeanor.
The room fell silent, all eyes on the leader. They knew something was wrong.
"We need to talk."
Kai’s smile faltered as he put down his spoon, his gaze searching Suho’s for answers. "What’s going on?"
Suho hesitated for a moment, glancing around at the other members before deciding to tell him privately. "Come with me."
Kai exchanged worried glances with Kyungsoo before getting up and following Suho down the hall. The unease in the room lingered long after they left.
"Hyung... what happened?" Jongin asked, his voice laced with concern as he followed Suho into the hallway.
Junmyeon took a deep breath, his expression serious. "Jongin, do you know a girl named Kim Si-un? Please answer honestly."
Jongin blinked, confused. "Hyung, you know I would never lie to you... but I have heard that name before. Why?"
Suho’s eyes narrowed. "Where did you hear it?"
Before Jongin could respond, Kyungsoo's voice cut through the tension. "Wait! Isn’t that the girl who keeps sending you letters?"
Jongin turned to him in surprise. "Letters? What letters?"
Suho’s face grew even more tense. "Letters?" he repeated.
"They were just fan mails," Kyungsoo said with a shrug. "She sent them to the office. Nothing out of the ordinary."
Suho wasn't convinced. "Are you sure her name was Kim Si-un?"
"I'm sure," Kyungsoo replied, frowning. "But I'll ask someone to check right now."
Suho exhaled sharply, nodding. "Do it. This is urgent."
Kyungsoo immediately pulled out his phone and dialed the receptionist, Yang Ji-min. The call was picked up after a few rings.
"Good morning, Jimin-ssi," Kyungsoo greeted, trying to keep his voice steady.
"Good morning, CEO-nim. Is there something I can help you with?" Ji-min replied politely.
"Yes, could you please check the fan mail room and see if there are any letters addressed to Jongin from someone named Kim Si-un? Also... do you remember anything about her? Has she ever visited the office personally?"
There was a brief pause before Ji-min responded. "Kim Si-un… yes, I remember her. She’s a sweet girl. She used to come by in person, waiting a few minutes to see if she could catch a glimpse of the members. CEO-nim, there are several letters for Jongin from her here."
Kyungsoo exchanged a worried glance with Suho before replying, "Alright, can you send all of them over to EXO-PLANET immediately? And also, please check the CCTV footage. Ask security to pull a still image of her face and send that as well."
"Of course, CEO-nim," Ji-min said, her professionalism unwavering.
"Thank you, Jimin-ssi," Kyungsoo said, hanging up.
Turning to Jongin, Suho’s face grew grim. "Now will you please tell us what’s going on?" Jongin asked, his brows furrowed.
Suho exhaled heavily. "Kim Si-un is threatening to go to court. She's claiming that you got her pregnant and abandoned her. And if that’s not enough, she's saying she'll accuse you of... forcing yourself on her unless she’s paid 20 million won."
Jongin’s face drained of color. "What...?" His voice cracked, his mind racing.
"And the biggest twist," Suho continued, his jaw clenched, "she's only fourteen years old."
Kyungsoo's eyes widened in shock. "What?! Against who?"
Suho looked directly at Jongin. "Against him."
Jongin took a step back, shaking his head in disbelief. "Hyung, I swear... I've never even met her!"
"I know, Jongin," Suho reassured him, placing a firm hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry. We’ll get the best lawyer in the country. You’re not alone in this."
Kyungsoo nodded firmly. "Let’s get ready and head to the company. We’ll inform the others at the meeting. No point in panicking here."
Suho agreed, his voice steady despite the turmoil within. "Yeah. Let’s move."
With heavy minds and pounding hearts, the three walked back into the living room.
"Guys, get ready. We need to head to the company," Suho announced, his tone leaving no room for questions.
Xiumin, sensing the tension, frowned. "What’s going on?"
"We’ll explain everything there. Just get ready—fast," Jongin said, his voice strained but composed.
Without further questions, the members quickly left the table and hurried to prepare, the weight of the unknown hanging over them like a dark cloud.
The members arrived at EXO-PLANET headquarters, their usual camaraderie replaced by a heavy silence. They walked through the sleek glass doors, the familiar hum of the bustling office doing little to ease the tension that hung thick in the air. Without a word, they made their way to the conference room, where the board of directors, the legal team, and Vice President Lee Min-soo were already seated, their expressions grave.
As the EXO members settled into their seats, Suho took his place at the head of the long, polished table. He straightened his shoulders, scanning the room before offering a curt nod.
"Thank you all for gathering on such short notice," Suho began, his voice steady but laced with concern. "I wish this meeting was under better circumstances, but we have a serious issue to address—one that requires our immediate attention."
The legal team exchanged knowing glances, their expressions unreadable. Vice President Lee Min-soo leaned forward, clearing his throat. "CEO-nim, we've reviewed the preliminary details of the situation. Given the gravity of the accusations, I’ve taken the liberty of contacting the best legal counsel in the country. Fortunately, Y/N has agreed to take on the case."
At the mention of Y/N's name, a ripple of relief spread across the table. Y/N, renowned as the country's top criminal lawyer, had an unparalleled reputation for dismantling even the most complex cases with surgical precision. Her track record of high-profile victories was legendary, and she was known for her unshakable resolve and razor-sharp intellect.
The door to the conference room opened, and in walked Y/N, exuding quiet confidence. Dressed in a sleek black suit, she carried herself with the kind of presence that demanded attention without a single word. She set her briefcase down on the table, her sharp eyes scanning the room before landing on Jongin, who was visibly tense.
"Good morning," she greeted, her voice smooth yet commanding. "I’ve been briefed on the situation, but I’d like to hear it directly from you all."
Suho nodded, motioning for her to take a seat. "Thank you for coming on such short notice, Y/N. We need your help to resolve this as quickly and quietly as possible."
Y/N nodded. "Understood. Let's start from the beginning," she said, her pen poised over a notepad. "Jongin, do you have any prior interaction with Kim Si-un? Anything at all?"
Jongin swallowed hard, his hands gripping the armrests of his chair. "No," he said firmly. "I’ve never met her. I don’t even know what she looks like. The only thing I’ve heard is that she sent me some fan letters... but I’ve never responded to them."
Y/N’s sharp gaze studied him for a moment before she continued. "I see. The fan letters—where are they now?"
Kyungsoo quickly chimed in. "Our receptionist is bringing them over, along with CCTV footage of her visits to the office."
"Good," Y/N said, jotting down notes. "We need to establish a clear timeline and determine if there’s any potential for manipulation. Blackmail of this nature isn’t uncommon, but given her age, it complicates matters significantly."
Suho leaned forward, concern etched across his face. "What are our options here, Y/N?"
Y/N sighed, tapping her pen against the table. "First, we need to verify the authenticity of her claims. We’ll work with forensic experts to analyze the letters and any digital interactions. Second, we need to get ahead of the media. If this leaks, it could irreparably damage not only Jongin but the entire group."
Jongin clenched his jaw. "I just... I don’t understand why this is happening. I’ve done nothing wrong."
Y/N’s gaze softened slightly. "I believe you," she said, her voice firm yet reassuring. "And I’ll do everything in my power to prove it."
A knock at the door interrupted the conversation, and the receptionist entered with a stack of letters and a USB drive containing the requested CCTV footage. Y/N nodded in thanks, quickly flipping through the envelopes.
"This is where we start," she said, standing up. "I'll analyze these personally and cross-reference any details with the security footage. In the meantime, I need you all to remain calm and not engage with this matter publicly."
Suho nodded. "Understood. We trust you, Y/N."
Y/N offered a small, confident smile. "Good. Because I don’t lose."
With that, she gathered the materials and left the room, leaving the members with a renewed sense of hope—but also the sobering realization that a battle was ahead.
As Y/N exited the room, a heavy silence lingered before Baekhyun finally spoke up, breaking the tension.
"Wait, wait, wait—hold on a second," he said, leaning forward with a bewildered expression. "Can someone explain to me what exactly is going on? Who is this girl, and why is she dragging Jonginnie into this mess?"
Xiumin crossed his arms, his brows furrowed in confusion. "Yeah, I feel like I just walked into a crime drama. Junmyeon, you said she’s claiming what?"
Suho exhaled slowly, rubbing his temples. "A 14-year-old girl named Kim Si-un is threatening to go to court, claiming that Jongin got her pregnant and abandoned her."
Gasps filled the room.
"WHAT?!" Chanyeol nearly jumped out of his seat. "That’s insane!"
Jongin ran a hand through his hair, frustration evident on his face. "Hyung, I swear I don't even know her. I’ve never seen her in my life!"
Sehun, looking completely lost, turned to Kyungsoo. "Hyung, you mentioned letters earlier? What letters?"
Kyungsoo nodded. "Yeah. We get tons of fan mail, and I remember seeing her name a few times. The receptionist said she used to drop by the office to leave them in person and would wait a bit to see if she could catch a glimpse of anyone."
Chen frowned. "And you never thought that was... I don’t know, a little weird?"
"It’s not unusual," Kyungsoo replied defensively. "We have a lot of dedicated fans. Some even come by with gifts. We can’t exactly screen every single person."
"But why Jongin?" Sehun asked, his eyes darting between everyone. "Why is she targeting him specifically?"
"That’s what we need to figure out," Suho said, his voice steady but firm. "Look, we don’t know if this is a case of blackmail, delusion, or if someone is pushing her to do this. But what we do know is that we have to act fast and be smart about it."
Lay, who had been attending the meeting online from China, finally spoke up. "So, what happens now? What did the lawyer say?"
Suho sighed. "Y/N is going to analyze the letters and the security footage to establish whether there’s any truth to her story or if we’re dealing with a false accusation. We need to stay calm and let her handle this."
"But what if the media gets wind of this?" Baekhyun asked, worry evident in his voice. "You know how fast these things spread. Even if it’s fake, it could ruin Jongin’s reputation in seconds."
"We’ll release a statement if it comes to that," Lee Min-soo, the Vice President, interjected. "But for now, no one says anything outside of this room. Understood?"
The members all nodded, their expressions a mixture of anxiety and determination.
Chanyeol looked at Jongin, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry, bro. We know you didn’t do anything. We'll get through this together."
Jongin forced a small smile but remained quiet, his mind racing with what-ifs and worst-case scenarios.
Suho clapped his hands, regaining their attention. "Alright, everyone. Let’s focus. We’ll reconvene once Y/N has more information. For now, let’s carry on with our schedules and act as normally as possible. No suspicious behavior, no comments to the press, and most importantly—no panic."
With that, the meeting came to an end, but the unease lingered in the air. As they all got up to leave, Jongin stayed behind, staring blankly at the stack of letters Y/N had left behind.
Kyungsoo patted his back gently. "We'll figure it out, Jongin."
Jongin sighed, nodding, but deep down, he couldn't shake the gnawing fear that this was only the beginning.
As the legal team, the directors and the vice president left the conference room only the members were left, the tension in the air was palpable. Jongin remained seated, staring at the stack of fan letters in front of him, his mind swirling with confusion and anxiety. The weight of the accusation hung over him like a dark cloud.
Sehun, still looking unsettled, turned to Suho. “Hyung... This situation... it reminds me of... Kris.”
The room grew even quieter. Everyone exchanged uneasy glances, and Baekhyun let out a shaky breath. “I was just thinking the same thing.”
Jongin’s head snapped up, his eyes wide with alarm. “Come on, guys… You’re not seriously comparing me to him, are you?”
“Of course not,” Chanyeol said quickly, sitting down next to him. “No one is. But the situation—someone making accusations like this—it’s eerily similar. You know how bad things got for him, and how quickly everything spiraled out of control.”
Xiumin nodded, his expression grim. “Once the media got involved, it didn’t even matter what was true or not. The damage was done.”
Suho exhaled deeply, his jaw tense. “That’s exactly why we have to be careful. We saw firsthand what happened when Kris’s scandal broke. The accusations, the media frenzy, the court trials... It destroyed his career. His entire life. Even though we cut ties with him years ago, we were still affected by it. It took us so long to rebuild our reputation after that.”
Kyungsoo crossed his arms, his face serious. “And that’s why we can’t afford any mistakes this time. Jongin, you need to be absolutely sure you’ve never interacted with this girl in any way.”
Jongin shook his head firmly. “I haven’t, hyung. I swear. I don’t even know what she looks like.”
Lay, who had been listening quietly, finally spoke up. “But we also need to remember that this isn’t just about EXO’s reputation. This is Jongin’s life we’re talking about.”
The room fell silent again. The weight of the situation was sinking in even deeper.
Chen leaned against the wall, sighing. “It’s just crazy... I mean, after everything we went through with SM, we thought we were finally free. And now this?”
Baekhyun nodded. “We’ve worked so hard to rebuild. The companies, the contracts, the trust with the fans... If this gets out, even if it's false, it could ruin everything we’ve built.”
Jongin clenched his fists, his voice barely above a whisper. “I feel like I’m being set up. I mean, why me? Why now?”
Suho looked at him, his gaze filled with both concern and determination. “We’re going to figure this out, Jongin. Y/N is the best lawyer in the country—if anyone can help us, it’s her.”
Chanyeol tried to lighten the mood, placing a hand on Jongin’s shoulder. “Hyung’s right. We’ve got each other’s backs. We always have.”
Jongin gave a small, grateful smile but the worry in his eyes remained.
Sehun hesitated before speaking again. “Do we... do we prepare for the worst-case scenario?”
Suho stood up straight, his leader mode fully activated. “We’re going to be smart about this. Y/N will go through the evidence, and we’ll get ahead of it. For now, we keep our heads down and act normal. No social media, no statements, nothing suspicious.”
The members nodded in agreement, but the unease lingered.
As they left the room, Kyungsoo fell into step beside Jongin, nudging him gently. “Hey... We’re going to get through this. Just don’t overthink it, alright?”
Jongin nodded, but deep down, the fear that this scandal could spiral out of control gnawed at him. He knew one thing for certain—he had to trust Y/N to clear his name before it was too late.

Sugar Substitutes Industry to Reach $29.90 Billion Valuation by 2029
The global sugar substitutes market is estimated at USD 23.56 billion in 2024 and is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 4.9%, reaching USD 29.90 billion by 2029. This growth is driven by increasing consumer demand for low-calorie, natural, and functional alternatives to sugar. As awareness of sugar’s health implications rises, consumers, industries, and regulatory bodies are pushing for healthier substitutes, fostering an environment ripe for innovation and diversification.
Expanding Applications in Personal Care and Pharmaceuticals
Traditionally used in food and beverage products, sugar substitutes are now finding a place in emerging markets such as personal care and pharmaceuticals. Sugar alcohols like xylitol have been increasingly adopted in oral care products, chewing gums, and even cosmetics. These substitutes provide sweetness without the adverse effects of sugar, promoting dental health while enhancing the user experience in personal care products. The shift towards sugar alternatives in these new sectors underlines the versatility of sugar substitutes and their potential to reshape multiple industries.
Key Growth Drivers: Clean Labels, Innovation, and Plant-Based Trends
Several key factors drive the growth of the sugar substitutes market:
Clean Label Demand: Consumers today are more focused on transparency and natural ingredients, favoring products free from artificial additives. This trend has led manufacturers to reformulate products using naturally derived sugar substitutes, aligning with clean label demands and attracting a broader customer base.
Innovation in Food and Beverages: The food and beverage industry is a hotbed of innovation, where companies seek to create sugar-free or reduced-sugar options without compromising taste or quality. The availability of new sugar substitutes enables producers to meet these expectations while maintaining product appeal.
Rise of Plant-Based Diets: The increasing popularity of plant-based diets has fueled demand for natural sweeteners like stevia and monk fruit extract. These plant-based substitutes offer a natural, low-calorie sweetness that appeals to consumers seeking healthier, minimally processed alternatives.
Request Custom Data to Address your Specific Business Needs
Supportive Regulatory Environment: Favorable government policies encourage the food industry to adopt sugar substitutes, easing regulatory barriers and promoting R&D in the sector. This support enables the market to thrive, particularly in countries with stringent regulations on sugar content in processed foods.
Advancements in Technology: Improved extraction and refinement techniques for high-intensity sweeteners make production more efficient and cost-effective, benefiting both producers and consumers. These advancements increase the accessibility of sugar substitutes and support their integration into a wider range of products.
High Fructose Corn Syrup: A Major Segment
Among sugar substitutes, high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) holds a significant market share. This corn-derived syrup, made through processes of hydrolysis, isomerization, and purification, offers a cost-effective and versatile alternative to sucrose. HFCS contains either 42% or 55% fructose, with the rest composed of glucose and water. These two variations, HFCS-42 and HFCS-55, are widely used in cereals, processed foods, and beverages. HFCS-55 is primarily found in soft drinks, while HFCS-42 is common in baked goods and cereals. The cost-efficiency and sweetness it provides have secured HFCS a lasting place in the global food industry, though its health implications remain a topic of debate.
Regional Focus: Europe’s Leading Role in Sugar Substitutes
Europe represents a significant share of the sugar substitute market due to a strong demand for healthier, low-calorie options and a stringent regulatory environment that promotes the development of sugar alternatives. Health awareness among European consumers has accelerated the adoption of sugar substitutes, with regulatory bodies actively supporting the industry’s growth. This regulatory support encourages innovation and positions Europe as a key player in advancing sugar substitute options.
In addition to regulatory support, European companies have invested in partnerships and capacity expansion for sugar substitutes. For instance, French company Roquette Frères recently partnered with Bonumose, a U.S.-based company, to commercialize tagatose by July 2024. Roquette’s investment in the production of polyols, totaling USD 26.29 million in 2022, reflects the ongoing expansion in Europe’s sugar substitute production capabilities to meet rising consumer demand.
The global sugar substitute market is set for steady growth, driven by a convergence of consumer demand, innovation, and supportive regulations. As personal care and pharmaceutical applications expand and new, plant-based sweeteners like stevia and monk fruit become more popular, sugar substitutes are establishing themselves as a fundamental component of modern diets. With substantial investments and a robust regulatory framework, Europe is poised to lead in this space, while markets worldwide continue to adopt and adapt to evolving consumer needs and health-conscious trends. The future of sugar substitutes lies in innovation, regulatory alignment, and the continual expansion of applications beyond traditional food and beverages, promising healthier, low-calorie options across multiple industries.

Nutrition for Older Adult Women: Ensuring Health and Vitality

Women's nutritional needs change as they get older. A balanced diet that satisfies these requirements is essential for preserving health, averting chronic illnesses, and fostering general wellbeing. This article explores the vital nutrients that older adult women need and provides helpful advice on how to eat a healthy diet.
The Dietary Requirements of Mature Women
Vitamin D and calcium
For healthy bones, calcium and vitamin D are essential. Because osteoporosis is more common in older women, these nutrients are crucial for maintaining bone density and preventing fractures.
Sources: fortified cereals, dairy products, leafy green vegetables, and fatty fish like salmon.
Tip: Try spending some time outside in the sun to naturally raise your vitamin D levels.
Protein
Maintaining muscular mass, which tends to decrease with age, requires protein. Consuming enough protein promotes metabolic health and maintains muscle mass.
Sources: Lean meats, poultry, fish, eggs, beans, and legumes are some of the sources.
Advice: To distribute protein intake throughout the day, include a source of protein in each meal.
Fiber
Fiber promotes healthy digestion, keeps constipation at bay, and regulates blood sugar. It also lowers cholesterol, which is beneficial to heart health.
Sources: fruits, vegetables, legumes, and whole grains.
Advice: Choose whole-grain bread, pasta, and rice; also, make sure your diet includes a range of fruits and vegetables.
Iron
Anemia, which can be more common in elderly women, can be avoided with the use of iron. Fatigue and a weakened immune system are two of the of the consequences of anemia.
Sources: Red meat, chicken, fish, beans, and fortified cereals are some of the sources.
Advice: To improve iron absorption, combine foods high in iron with foods high in vitamin C, such as citrus fruits.
Vitamin B12
Red blood cell formation and nerve function depend on vitamin B12. It could be harder for elderly people to get this vitamin from their diet.
Sources: dairy products, seafood, meat, and fortified cereals.
Advice: If your diet isn't providing enough B12, think about taking a supplement.
Drinking Water
Older women often experience less thirst than younger women, so it's important for them to stay hydrated. Consuming enough fluids promotes optimal body functions and guards against dehydration.
Advice: Make sure to incorporate hydrating foods like fruits and vegetables into your diet and try to drink at least 8 glasses of water each day.
Healthy Eating Tips for Older Adult Women
Balanced Meals: Try to have a meal that is composed of different food groups, such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and protein.
Portion Control: Pay attention to serving sizes, particularly when consuming meals high in calories, to prevent overindulging.
Reduce Your Intake of Processed Foods: Reduce your consumption of processed foods that are heavy in sugar, sodium, and bad fats.
Regular Meals: To sustain energy levels and avoid overindulging later in the day, eat meals on a regular, well-paced schedule.
Healthy Snacking: Steer clear of sugary or salty snacks in favor of nutrient-dense foods like fruit, yogurt, almonds, and seeds.
Importance of Physical Activity
For older adult women to preserve their health, frequent physical activity is essential in addition to a healthy diet. Exercise is beneficial:
Preserve Muscle Mass: Exercises aimed at building muscle mass can aid in maintaining muscle strength.
Boost your bone density: Walking and dancing are examples of weight-bearing exercises that promote bone health.
Boost Mobility: Yoga and other flexibility and balancing exercises can increase general mobility and lower the chance of falling.
Enhance Mental Health: Exercise releases endorphins, which have been shown to elevate mood and lower the risk of depression.
Managing health conditions with diet
Certain health issues that older women frequently experience can be controlled or lessened with diet:
Heart Disease: Heart disease can be managed and prevented with a diet high in fiber and low in cholesterol, trans fats, and saturated fats.
Diabetes: Blood sugar levels can be managed by keeping an eye on carbohydrate intake and selecting complex carbs.
Hypertension: Eating more meals high in potassium and lowering salt intake will help control blood pressure.
Faqs
1. What nutrients are most important for older adult women?
Calcium, vitamin D, iron, fiber, protein, and vitamin B12 are important nutrients. These nutrients promote general wellbeing, muscular maintenance, bone health, and digestive health.
2. How can senior ladies make sure they obtain adequate calcium and vitamin D?
Dairy products, leafy green vegetables, and fortified cereals are good sources of calcium. Sunlight exposure allows for the synthesis of vitamin D, which is present in fatty fish, fortified milk, and, if needed, supplements.
3. Why is protein important for older women?
Age-related declines in muscle mass can be attributed in part to protein. Additionally, it promotes general physical strength and metabolic health.
4. Where can I find high-quality dietary fiber?
Legumes, fruits, vegetables, and whole grains are all excellent providers of dietary fiber. Fiber promotes heart health, eases constipation, and helps with digestion.
Conclusion
For older adult women's health and wellbeing, nutrition is crucial. Older women can preserve their vitality, manage health issues, and enhance their quality of life by concentrating on a balanced diet high in critical nutrients and drinking plenty of water. These advantages are further enhanced by conscious eating habits and regular exercise, enabling older women to have active, healthy lifestyles.

Unlocking the Benefits of A2 Cow Milk: Astradairy's Premium Choice

In the realm of dairy products, a revolution is quietly taking place. Traditional cow milk, long hailed as a dietary staple, is being re-evaluated in light of new research and consumer preferences. At the forefront of this transformation is A2 cow milk, a variant that promises numerous health benefits. Astradairy, a leading producer of high-quality dairy products, is proud to offer A2 cow milk as part of its premium line. But what exactly is A2 cow milk, and why should you switch? The benefits and discover why Astradairy’s A2 cow milk is the superior choice for your health.
A2 Cow Milk in Chennai
Understanding A2 Cow Milk
Milk is composed of various proteins, among which beta-casein is significant. Traditional cow milk typically contains a mix of A1 and A2 beta-casein proteins. However, research has indicated that A1 beta-casein may be linked to certain digestive discomforts and health issues in some individuals. A2 cow milk, on the other hand, comes from cows that produce milk containing only the A2 beta-casein protein, which is easier to digest and more compatible with our bodies.
Health Benefits of A2 Cow Milk
Improved Digestive Comfort: Many people who experience discomfort such as bloating, gas, and diarrhoea after consuming traditional cow milk may find relief with A2 cow milk. Studies suggest that A2 beta-casein is broken down more easily in the digestive system, reducing the incidence of these uncomfortable symptoms.
Nutrient-Rich: A2 cow milk has essential nutrients, including calcium, vitamin D, and protein. These nutrients are vital for maintaining strong bones, supporting immune function, and promoting overall health. Astradairy ensures that their A2 cow milk retains all these nutrients, offering a wholesome choice for consumers.
Lower Risk of Milk Allergies: While A2 cow milk is suitable for individuals with a true milk allergy (which involves an immune response to milk proteins), it may be a better option for those with lactose intolerance or a sensitivity to A1 protein. By switching to A2 cow milk, many people report fewer allergic reactions and better tolerance.
Heart Health: Some studies have suggested that A1 beta-casein might be linked to an increased risk of heart disease. Although more research is needed, opting for A2 cow milk could be a proactive step towards better cardiovascular health. Astradairy’s commitment to quality ensures that their A2 cow milk is produced under strict standards, providing a heart-healthy option for consumers.
Supports Healthy Weight Management: Milk proteins, including those in A2 cow milk, can promote satiety and help regulate appetite. Including A2 cow milk in your diet may support weight management efforts by keeping you fuller for longer and reducing the likelihood of overeating.

Jaipur Food Tour
Famous for its architectural and historical marvels including Amer Fort, Hawa Mahal, City Palace and Jal Mahal, Jaipur is the most visited city in Rajasthan. Strong in tourism and a popular shopping location, it's also a treat for foodies. The cuisine of Jaipur provides a multi-sensory, cultural experience, ranging from traditional jewel-encrusted Rajasthani dishes like dal baati churma, laal mass, and ker sangri to mouthwatering dinners in the form of Rajasthani thalis, exquisite desserts like ghewar and the always-irresistible kulfi. Most of the well-known restaurants have a live-to-eat ambiance, friendly store owners and excellent service. Typically, the meal is ghee-dripping, spicy, tart and hard to refuse. This is an insider's list of the famous food in Jaipur, which includes the greatest spots for Rajasthani food. See it for Jaipur's most well-known cuisine.
Pyaaz Kachori We started our food tour in Jaipur at the famous Raj Mandir Theatre, where we savoured Pyaaz Kachori, one of Jaipur's gastronomic gems. With a mouthwatering sweet chutney to go with these crispy, hot deep-fried treats, our taste buds were left aching for more. Even though Mihir is a Jain and doesn't eat potatoes, he was unable to resist these tasty morsels during our gastronomic exploration.
Mirchi Vada We went on a unique gastronomic adventure at Ram Namkeen Bhandar, where we had Mirchi Vada with Kadhi. This 1970 creation is notable for its zesty edge, which comes from the inclusion of Kadhi. It's not like other street food because of its delicious combination of sour and spice. We were blown away by the crispy outside and delicious inside of the Mirchi Vada.
Lassi We gave in to the allure of a cool Lassi to cool off throughout our culinary adventures. Lassiwala, which has been around since 1944, was our location of choice. The cool, creamy Lassi was a welcome relief from the intense heat, and its flavour brought back memories of the classic Lassi.
Moong Thal The city's specialty is Barfi, a lentil dessert cooked and served in a large thal (large round dish). The dessert, which is served inside the ancient city, melts in your tongue with its rich flavor. Made with only the purest Ghee, it tastes amazing. The majority of our visitors adore how it melts in their tongues.
Kulfi How can we overlook Matka Kulfi, our beloved ice cream? The well-known Pandit Kulfi shop, which is almost 60 years old and is located close to Hawa Mahal, is the well-known location for this richer, creamier flavour that is unmatched. Kulfi was created from a straightforward concoction of thickened evaporated milk, sugar, saffron, and pistachios that was placed within metal cones and submerged in slurry ice. Don't forget to sample our delicious street food tour of the city.
Dal Baati Churma Dal Baati Churma is the state dish of Rajasthan and the next meal to entice your taste buds with traditional Rajasthani cuisine. consists of three key elements: Ghee (clarified butter), which adds a delicious flavour to the dish. The three primary ingredients are Dal, Baati (baked, usually packed balls of wheat) and Choorma (a dessert composed of cereal crumbs). Again, the variety and colour of churma and baati are determined by the ingredients that are utilised. Known as the "King of Rajasthani cuisine," you may sample this real meal at Laxmi Mishthan Bhandar, which is located behind Hawa Mahal. In addition to savouring the rich delicacy, you can enjoy a view of the surrounding area from there.
Laal Maas a highly well-liked non-vegetarian dish from the princely realm that was the inspiration behind royal cuisine. Mutton is used to cook this dish, and red chilies are added to give it a crimson hue and aesthetic appeal. This delicious dish, which is served in practically every nuke and corner of the city, is quite simple to make at home. The meal, which is best enjoyed with a chapatti or naan, is a staple of the old city's Handi Restaurant.
Ghevar There are numerous versions of this classic Jaipur sweet food, which is a disk-shaped cake baked with maida (refined flour) and soaked in sugar syrup. As a seasonal dish, it is typically made during Teej and Rakshabandhan, two of the city's most well-known celebrations, in the month of festivals. The ideal way to serve ghevar variations with ice cubes, cream ghee, and ghee is to top them with fruits.

Can Cats Eat Corn? Top 11 Amazing Facts
Can Cats Eat Corn? Learn about the nutritional value of corn, the benefits and risks of feeding it to cats, and how to avoid accidental consumption.
Nutritional data
Corn is a common cereal grain found in both human and animal diets. It is mostly composed of carbohydrates with a trace of fiber. Cats, on the other hand, should avoid corn because it lacks essential nutrients. Cats have specific dietary needs that are best met by well-balanced cat food that contains all of the essential nutrients they require for good health.
Can Cats Eat Corn? What kinds of corn are good for cats?
When it comes to feeding corn to cats, it's important to understand that corn isn't something they need or should eat. Corn is an ingredient in some cat food, but it is often used as a filler or as a cheap source of carbs, not because it is good for the cat's health. In general, cats should not consume whole corn kernels or corn on the cob.
Is corn safe for cats to eat?
Cats cannot get all of the nutrients they require from corn alone. Cats are obligate carnivores, which means that their bodies are designed to thrive on a diet high in animal proteins. Corn contains some carbohydrates and fiber, but it lacks important nutrients such as taurine, arachidonic acid, and certain vitamins and minerals that cats require to stay healthy.
Why you should feed your cat corn:
There aren't many advantages to feeding corn to cats. Cats have evolved to be obligate carnivores, which means they can only obtain nutrients from animal sources and not from plant sources such as corn. Cats require high-quality animal protein to meet their specific nutritional needs.
Dangers of Corn Feeding:
When feeding corn to cats, there are several potential hazards. Corn is a common allergen for cats, and some cats may become ill from eating it or develop an intolerance to it. Corn is also a source of carbohydrates, and eating too much corn or products made from corn can lead to weight gain, obesity, and other health problems. Corn is also not a natural food for cats, and a diet high in corn can lead to nutrient deficiencies and imbalances over time.
Is it safe for cats to eat corn?
Even though cats can eat small amounts of cooked corn that hasn't been seasoned or added to, it's usually not a good idea to feed them corn. Because of the risks and lack of essential nutrients, it is not a good addition to their diet and is not required.
Is it safe to feed your cat corn?
Corn should not be a regular part of your cat's diet because it is neither safe nor smart. Cat food that is well-balanced and made for cats is the best way to meet their nutritional needs. If corn is their primary source of nutrition, they may not get enough or the right kinds of essential nutrients, which can harm their health and well-being.
Can cats digest corn?
Plant-based carbohydrates such as corn are difficult for cats to digest. Even though they can break down and use some of the nutrients in carbohydrates, their digestive systems are primarily designed to break down and use proteins from animals. Cats cannot fully digest and utilize the nutrients in corn because their digestive tracts are shorter and they lack the enzymes required.
Corn is not poisonous to cats, but eating too much of it can make them sick. However, if a cat consumes spoiled or contaminated corn, they may experience stomach problems such as vomiting and diarrhea. In addition, if a cat is allergic to or intolerant of corn, it may exhibit symptoms such as itching, skin irritation, or stomach problems.

What should you do if your cat becomes ill from Corn?
If you suspect your cat has eaten contaminated corn or is having a negative reaction to corn, take them to the vet as soon as possible. The vet can diagnose your cat's problem, treat it, and address any issues that may arise as a result of eating corn or having food allergies.
Stop cats from accidentally eating corn:
To prevent cats from eating corn by accident, corn and corn-based products must be stored and handled safely. Keep them out of your cat's reach, and make sure your trash cans are locked so they can't get to corn or foods containing corn. You can avoid giving your cat harmful substances by paying attention to what's in the food and carefully reading labels.
How many Corns can a cat have?
Giving cats whole corn kernels or corn on the cob is not a good idea because it could be dangerous and has no nutritional value. Corn is not a necessary part of a cat's diet, so avoid giving it to them in large quantities.
Can kittens under a year old eat corn?
Cats under the age of 12 months require specific foods to grow and develop. Small amounts of plain, cooked corn may not be dangerous right away, but kittens do not require or benefit from corn. Kittens should eat food that is well-balanced and meets all of their specific nutritional requirements.
Should cats eat corn frequently?
Cats should not eat corn every day or on a regular basis. Cats have always been strict carnivores, and their bodies function best when they eat mostly high-quality animal proteins. Corn does not provide cats with the nutrients they require and, if fed frequently, can cause nutritional imbalances and health problems.
Alternatives and supplements:
Instead of feeding corn to cats, it is best to feed them other, healthier foods. Alternatives and supplements that are beneficial to cats include:
Cats have specific dietary needs that are best met by feeding them a food that meets all of their nutritional needs. Look for cat foods that are mostly made of animal proteins and meet nutritional standards set by reputable organizations such as the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO).
Meats high in protein: Cats must consume meat because they are carnivores and require protein from animals. If you don't want to feed them corn, you can feed them high-quality, lean meats like chicken, turkey, or fish.
Fruits and vegetables: Cats primarily require protein from animals, but some fruits and vegetables can be added as treats or supplements. However, you must ensure that these fruits and vegetables are safe and beneficial to cats. Cooked carrots, peas, or pumpkin are a few examples.
Cat treats that you can buy: Many pet food companies produce a variety of treats for cats that are designed to meet their nutritional requirements. Most of the time, these treats are designed to provide extra nutrients that can be added to their regular diet.
Dietary variety is essential:
When a cat's food is varied, it receives a wide range of essential nutrients and does not run out of any. However, it is critical to ensure that any additions or supplements are both safe and beneficial to the health of cats. Speaking with a veterinarian can assist you in making the best decisions and ensuring your cat receives a balanced and varied diet.
Can cats eat corn?
In conclusion, cats may not become ill immediately after eating small amounts of plain, cooked corn that has not been seasoned or added to. However, making corn a major part of their diet is not a good idea. Corn does not provide cats with the proper nutrient balance, and it may cause allergies, digestive problems, and nutrient imbalances. It is critical to ensure that the cat food you purchase is nutritionally balanced and meets all of their needs.
Last thoughts on feeding Corn to your cat:
It is critical for a cat's health and well-being that they consume a diet tailored to their specific nutritional requirements. Corn may be used as a filler in some commercial cat food, but it adds little nutritional value. Instead, focus on providing your cat with high-quality food, protein sources, and safe fruits and vegetables as treats or extras. Speaking with your veterinarian can assist you in ensuring that your cat's diet is well-balanced and meets all of its nutritional requirements.
How important it is to seek dietary advice from a veterinarian:
Every cat has different dietary needs, so consult with your veterinarian about how to feed your cat. They can examine your cat's health, take into account any special dietary needs or restrictions, and provide you with personalized advice. Veterinarians have the knowledge and skills to assist you in providing your cat with a nutritionally adequate diet. They can also answer any questions or concerns you have about your cat's diet.

Dare Coupons and Wrong Ideas
2nd and last part of A Naked Nurse and Wrong Ideas (Read this first to know what’s going on)
Bucky x Reader + Avengers still thinking you slept together
A/N: I didn’t expect a lot of you would enjoy the first part so as requested, here’s a follow up!
--------
When you woke up, you were alone in your room, and it was already the next day. You only have small recollections of Bucky constantly checking your temperature, feeding you soup, and making you take medicine.
Your cheeks flushed at the memory that he had to only be in his boxer briefs because your AC had to be off or else you would’ve frozen to death.
Plugging your phone as the battery was about to drain, you saw that it had numerous messages from the team – some were saying congratulations to you and Bucky, Wanda was asking you for details, Sam was thanking you for making him 50 bucks richer, and Tony was saying you owe him money.
You didn’t think finally getting along with Bucky was that big of a deal for everyone. Chuckling, you decided to hop in the shower before getting some breakfast.
--------
“I told you, nothing happened.” Bucky was scowling at Sam who was ignoring him for the nth time that morning.
“I remember you also insisting you didn’t like Star Wars, then I caught you ordering Baby Yoda merchandise on Amazon. So, forgive me if I’d rather hear about what we saw yesterday from your new girlfriend.” Sam smirked, not looking up from his phone.
The rest of the team in the kitchen snickered. They were not giving him the chance to explain himself since he got there. Steve has warned them that he’s prone to lie and get defensive when he’s embarrassed.
Huffing in annoyance like a child, he sunk in his seat thinking of ways he could convince them that he was telling the truth, when you finally appeared.
“Good morning.” You mumbled a small greeting and made your way to the cupboards to get some cereal. He noted that you look a lot better than yesterday, and that you just showered.
Heading to the table, bowl in your hands, Nat gestured for you to sit between her and Wanda, and across from Steve, Clint, and Tony. Taking your seat, you scanned who else was on the long dining table, and your eyes landed on Bucky who was five seats away from Steve, and next to him was Sam, and Peter.
You gave Bucky a small smile as a thank you, mentally noting that you had to thank him personally in private later. But unbeknownst to you, the rest of the team took this as a “moment” and were exchanging meaningful looks, except for Tony.
Bucky returned the smile, grateful that you were finally here to clear things up for everyone and prove that he was telling the truth. But then Sam just had to be a villain.
“Hey tinman. I still have 3 dare coupons from you last Christmas. Now I dare you to keep your mouth shut for the rest of the morning.” He said in a low voice, raising his brows when Bucky was about to protest.
“Fine.” he huffed.
“All’s clear!” Sam said loudly, making you jump a little from your seat. What was that about?
“So... Y/N.” Steve started speaking, making you look up to him. “Bucky, huh? Who knew?”
“I know, right?” you smiled at him. So, you and Bucky finally getting along was that big of a deal for them. Maybe it was for team morale.
Nat cleared her throat before turning to you with a grin. “Sam, Steve, and I went to your room yesterday to check on you after FRIDAY said you haven’t been out of your room all morning. And uh, well a partially dressed Bucky greeted us.”
Looking across you again, Steve, Clint and Tony were also looking at you expectantly. You get how it must’ve been confusing why he had to take care of you in only his boxer briefs.
“Oh, I was actually the one who told him to just take it off. It was just getting too hot for him.” You shrugged and missed how Peter spat milk from his seat, and Sam telling him to keep it together.
“So how was he?” Wanda couldn’t keep herself from sounding too eager to know. You raised a brow in confusion at her but answered.
“Honestly, I didn’t know he could be that gentle.” You thought back to how Bucky was gentle and patient in taking care of you.
“Oh wow.” Wanda responded; eyes wide. Steve was turning red and was now avoiding making eye contact.
Bucky was smirking from his seat. At first, he thought it was going to be more embarrassing for him, but now he was actually enjoying how the team was torn between wanting to know more, and trying to spare themselves the visuals of their friends going at it.
“How would you uh... rate him.” Wanda asked again, making Vision nudge her for the question.
“Well, it did seem like he knew what he was doing. I’d say he has a lot of experience. I'd give it a ten.” You nodded at her, smiling at the thought of how the brooding guy could’ve once been the main caretaker for his sick siblings.
Bucky coughed to mask him laughter, making Sam glare at him.
“How are you now? Is the soreness gone?” It almost pained Clint to even ask that, but he knew everybody else was dying to ask.
“I’m still a bit sore, and my throat does hurt a little still, but nothing some more rest would get rid of.” you shrugged.
Tony turned his attention to Bucky, glaring. “Might have to ask him for tips then.” Clint replied, clearing his throat.
“There’s a kid here, you guys. Keep it down.” Steve warned all of you, referring to how Peter was also in the room, listening to the entire conversation.
“What, I think Pete here could also get some tips.” You replied. Why wouldn’t Steve want Peter to know how to take care of sick people? It’s not like it’s entirely different from how they do it today.
Sam choked on his toast, and it was now Peter's turn to mockingly tell him to keep it together.
“Let me just ask this. Is this a one-time thing?” It was now Tony’s time to ask. He’s always treated you like a daughter, so he wasn’t a big fan of you and Bucky getting together.
You didn’t think Tony was gonna be mad at you for getting sick. This hurt you a little, but you understand that it was your own stupidity that got you sick in the first place. It would’ve been bad if you had to miss a mission.
“I hope so? I really don’t want to miss any missions because I can barely move any muscles. I’m sorry, Tony.” You gave him a guilty look. “But it’s nice to know I could count on Bucky whenever I need any help.” You continued.
The rest of the team, shifted in their seats from cringing at what you just said.
Sam turned to a smirking Bucky. “You’re disgusting.” he said to him.
You finally turned your attention to Bucky. “Anyway, I never got to thank you this morning because when I woke up you were gone.” you smiled at him.
“WHAT?” Nat spoke loudly from beside you.
“You left before she woke up?!” Tony exclaimed. Steve glared at his friend, disappointed that he’d do such thing. The rest of the team were also scowling at him.
“It’s no big deal you guys, he had to stay up all night.” you defended Bucky, making him shake in his seat from now full-on laughing.
“You think this is funny, Barnes?!” Tony got up from his seat to stalk towards him. You got up as well to diffuse the situation.
“Woah, woah, woah. Why are you guys so mad at him?” you asked, standing beside Bucky who was still losing his shit on his seat.
“We know he’s been crushing on you, but he can’t just sleep with you and leave you like that!” Tony was all red from anger.
You paused from where you were standing to take in what he meant. And when it finally sank in why they were all acting so strange, you joined Bucky in laughter.
You rested your hand on Bucky’s shoulder for support, tears brimming your eyes from laughing too hard.
The team was now looking at you both in confusion.
“You thought we slept together?” You asked in between laughter.
“Well, what the hell could all of this have meant?!” Clint asked from his seat.
“I was sick and Bucky was nursing me.” you explained, composing yourself.
“Why was he in his underwear then? Because I do not need to know that you guys were role playing.” Sam interjected, a sour look on his face.
“My AC was off because I was too cold. I got sick because I raced you under a thunderstorm the night before, remember?” you said looking at Sam.
Collective Ohs were heard in the room.
--------
That afternoon, you were peacefully reading a book on your bed when you heard small knocks on your door.
“Come in.” you said out loud.
The door opened softly and Bucky came in with a smile on his face. “Hey, doll. How are you feeling?”
“I’m actually doing a lot better, Buck. Why, are you planning to strip off to your undies if I were sick again?” you joked, patting on a space infront of you on the bed.
“If you wanted me to so badly, all you have to do is ask, Y/N.” He chuckled and sat in front of you.
“Our friends are ridiculous.” You laughed, thinking back to what happened this morning.
“I know.” He nodded. “They got one thing right though.” he smiled at you again.
“And that is...?”
“I have been crushing on you.” He admitted, his cheeks turning a tinge of pink.
“So, I was right to tease you before.” you smiled smugly.
“Shut up.” he looked down, feeling your sheets in between his fingers.
“If it makes you feel any better, I am attracted to you too.” you admitted, and a boyish smile stretched on his lips.
“Was you being sick all a ploy to get me in my underwear?” he teased, and you smacked him playfully with a pillow near you. “Don’t flatter yourself.”
A comfortable silence passed, both of you just grinning, avoiding eye contact.
“You know, I never got to properly thank you for taking care of me.” You broke the silence.
“How could you ever repay me?” he asked in an exaggerated tone.
“Would a kiss from your crush, suffice?” you teased again, wiggling your brows playfully.
“Hey, you just said you like me too!” He defended himself. “But, yes.” he smiled sheepishly.
“Fine.” you playfully rolled your eyes before leaning in.
His lips were softer than you expected, and you could tell that he was smiling. Pulling you closer to him, both of you were getting carried away from what was supposed to be a quick peck, and missed to hear the creak from your door opening.
“I knew it!” A booming voice cut you both off. Head snapping to the doorway, Sam was standing there with a smug look on his face before leaving and letting the entire compound know that you were both lying that morning.
“Who’s gonna believe us now?” you let out a soft chuckle.
“I guess I have to ask you out on a date now, huh.” Bucky was grinning at you, playfulness lacing his tone.
“Oh, how inconvenient for you.” you gave his lips a quick before finally moving away, giggling.

She Called Him Pops

Word Count: 830
Flashback
“Hi Mr. Fury is it? I’m your neighbour just next door there, the names Carla Aluffonzi! I saw you and your daughter moving in yesterday and I thought I would pop by welcome you both to the neighbourhood!”
Nick stands in the doorway confused for a moment before realizing the woman in front of him was referring to Natasha. “Yes! Thank you, my daughter and I just moved here to get away from the memories of my wife passing in our old home.”
“Oh no! I hope you’re both doing alright!”
“Oh yes we are. Don’t worry about us. Thanks for stopping by, I’ll tell my daughter that you said hello.” Says Fury closing the door.
Flashback over
“Fury? Hello? Nick?” Natasha calls to the man seated at the head of the table in the conference room, earning no response from him. “Pops!” She calls a little louder, drawing every single person in the rooms attention, including Fury’s.
“Yes Romanoff?”
“Can I speak to you in the hall for a moment or do we still need to clear some details up?”
“Uh no, we can speak in the hall.” Fury and Natasha stand from their chairs while the other Avengers watch with confusion etched into their faces. The pair walk into the hall and around the corner, out of sight from the others in the conference.
“Did Natasha… just call…Fury… ‘Pops’?” Asks Tony quietly, for once not fidgeting in his seat, as he stares at his hands looking absolutely flabbergasted.
“I… I think she did.” Responds Steve, knee bouncing under the table.
Clint doesn’t say anything but hold his hand over his mouth trying not to burst into laughter. “Anything to say on this matter, Barton?” Asks Dr. Banner, noticing Clint’s odd behaviour.
Quickly composing himself, Clint shakes his head. “Nope, I’m just as confused as you guys are,” he lies convincingly.
*Time Skip* *Next Morning*
“Morning Stark, Rodgers,” says Nat coming into the kitchen dressed in one of Tony’s shirts and a pair of track pants that clearly don’t belong to her.
“That is my shirt, you thief! I’ve been trying to find that for weeks, Romanoff!” Exclaims Tony, crossing his arms.
“Oops!”
“Can I have it back at least?”
“Nope! Sorry but it’s mine now, get your own!”
“It is mine!”
“Not anymore it isn’t, Stark!” She teases, climbing onto the counter to get to the cereal bars. “Remind me why we let Rogers and Thunderbolt put away the groceries, again?” She complains, having to reach all the way back for her breakfast. Once she finds the box and rips it open, she stuffs a bar in the too-long pants she wearing before shoving the box back into the cupboard, hopping off the counter and leaving the kitchen without another word.
Tony starts mouthing complaints of shock and confusion, because the woman just claimed possession on his shirt. “Don’t even try arguing with her Stark. There’s really no point, there’s no chance in Hell that you’re getting that shirt back. Might as well just let her rifle through your closet and take what she likes. When she and I first became partners, she quite literally stole half of the clothes I had in my closet. I’ve had experience with her thievery. If she sees a piece of clothing she likes of yours, she’s going to take it and never return it to you.” Says Barton entering the kitchen.
Later that morning, Steve and Tony enter the conference room to find Nat still dressed in the clothes from earlier, sitting cross legged on top of the table, laptop in front of her. “Romanoff, what the Hell are you doing?” Asks Stark.
“Checking flight paths for the upcoming mission, don’t want to run into any unexpected trouble.” She responds without looking up.
“And you’re sitting on the conference room table for what reason?”
“Because it’s a hell of a lot comfier to sit like this than to sit on the couch and struggle to see my screen. This also hurts my neck and back a hell of a lot less. Is there anything you actually needed from me?”
“Yeah actually. We were wondering why you called Fury ‘Pops’ yesterday,” Steve inquires.
“Oh that?! Well, see, quite a few years ago Nick and I went undercover together to catch an arms dealer and were, for some odd reason, immediately assumed as father and daughter. So for the duration of the mission to keep our cover solid we assumed being father and daughter. Now, if I can’t get Nicks attention I’ll call him ‘Pops’ and it usually works. So that’s the explanation!” She glanced up at the men in the door way.
“That’s actually really sweet, Nat,” says Steve, smiling at the redhead.
“Thanks Steve, now can I get back to doing my work?”
“Oh! Yeah, sure!”
“I still want that shirt back Romanoff!” Tony calls as he walks out of the room.
“Not happening Stark!” Nat calls back, giggling to herself.

Run (part 5)
wordcount: 3.5k
warnings: teasing, slight smut
Kai’s side of the bed had long since gone cold when you awoke the next morning. Hurrying from the room, you cursed yourself for having gone to him, the restful sleep that his presence had provided you allowing your thoughts to become sharper and you scolded yourself for giving in to your want so easily. But as you dressed and readied yourself in the guest room across from Kai’s, your craving for him was undeniable, his face stark behind your eyelids whenever you closed your eyes, whenever you blinked. Your heart had seemingly already made the choice for you: It would take awhile for you to fully forgive Kai for what he had done to you, and you knew that when that happened, your want for him would simply burn even stronger. There was no point in forbidding something that both you and him so desperately wanted. A slow grin spread across your face as you mentally agreed with yourself that you were more than willing to give him a chance to love you. But where would the fun be in giving yourself over to him so easily? You turned back to your closet, pulling off the simple shirt you had just donned and replacing it with a tiny, low-cut crop top. Smiling evilly, you turned for the door, making your was down the stairs to the kitchen, silently hoping that Kai would already be in there.
The kitchen was empty when you arrived, causing you to sigh. Pushing away the dim glow of disappointment unravelling within your gut, you stalked for the fridge, grabbing some milk and setting about making yourself a bowl of cereal. You ate your breakfast leant against the counter facing the open kitchen doors, your eyes constantly flicking from your food to the door. Kai had probably gone out, you had woken up fairly late and he usually had errands to run that he preferred to do in the morning. The acknowledgement that you knew Kai’s routine so well made you smile softly. You stopped yourself, hurriedly shoving more cereal into your mouth, wiping at the milk that dribbled down your chin as you cursed yourself for already being so smitten with this man. Finishing up your breakfast, you chucked the empty bowl and spoon into the sink, filling a glass of water and draining it before bracing your arms on the counter. “You’re hopeless.” You whispered to yourself, pushing yourself off the worktop and slowly meandering to the kitchen doors, not sure what to do with yourself. The familiar sound of a car turning into the house’s driveway made you pause in your tracks, your head snapping to the window, watching as Kai’s large white car slowly rolled up the driveway. You stole that car. Your mind whispered at you. Pushing the thought away you watched as Kai emerged from the car, the door slamming shut behind him. Jerking into action, you jumped onto one of the barstools arranged around the marble island in the centre of the kitchen but cursed yourself as you realised that now you were sat stupidly at the kitchen table, along and doing absolutely nothing. But You weren’t given time to dwell on the thought as the front door swung open, Kai’s audible footsteps allowing you to track his short journey down the small stretch of hallway between the front porch and the kitchen door. He was whistling quietly as he came into view in the open doorway, his movements halting as he beheld you sat at the table. He wore a neatly ironed black shirt, the top buttons undone to reveal a portion of his chest, the top half of his faded blue hair pulled into a tight bun at the crown of his head. His car keys hung from his finger as his whistling stopped, Kai turning towards you and diverting his journey to step into the kitchen. You smiled at him, your elbows coming to rest on the cool surface before you, ensuring that he noticed when you squeezed your arms slightly tighter to your body in such a way that pushed your tits further together, your cleavage more than noticeable from the low-cut material of the shirt you wore. “Hey.” He greeted simply, wandering further into the room. “Hi.” You responded, leaning forwards in your seat to greet him. “Where have you been?” “Just running some errands.” You nodded at his vague explanation. “When did you wake up?” He asked. “Not too long ago, I slept in.” He hummed, before responding. “My bed is very comfy, isn’t it?” You tried in vain to keep your cheeks from heating, dropping your gaze to the table in order to avoid his dark eyes as they bored into yours, trying to gauge your reaction. “You should visit me in bed more often, y’know. I enjoy your company.” Whether he knew it or not, his implicit offer was clear: he didn’t mean just to sleep. You cleared your throat, adjusting your arms in order to enhance your cleavage even more. “Do you need any help with anything today? I need someone to give me something to do, I’m already bored.” Kai smiled slowly, his eyes roving over your body, dipping dangerously low before rising to meet your gaze once more. “Nah, I’ve got it covered. Thanks though.” He shrugged as he turned to leave the room. “Although, you could do me the favour of putting those pretty tits of yours away. I don’t want anyone else seeing them.” Your mouth went utterly dry at his boldness, your eyes trained on his broad back as he left the room without another word, resuming his whistling. You stared at the empty kitchen doorway for several moments, trying to ignore the effect that his words had on you as your pussy wetted slightly. Fine, if he wanted to play that game, you could play it just as hard.
Your teasing only got more and more bold over the next few days, and Kai’s reactions only became more and more noticeable. At cult meetings, you sat so close to Kai on the couch behind where he stood to address his group that your knees would brush the backs of his legs, his shoulders stiffening almost imperceptibly with each press of your clothed skin against him. Whenever you cooked dinner together, you would purposely brush past him again and again, leaning over the work surfaces slightly and pushing your ass out. Kai would return the carefully planned ‘careless’ treatment, leaning over you to reach for things from the cupboards, his hands falling to your hips with a ghost’s touch whenever he needed to get past you. Your outfits got skimpier and more revealing each day, the slices of skin that you kept on show for Kai begging him to make more comments on your body like the one he had made about your tits in the kitchen. But of course, Kai knew exactly what you were trying to do and refused to give you what you wanted, instead returning the treatment by ensuring that you walked in on him shirtless several times. This experience had left you flustered and unable to think coherent thoughts afterwards each time it happened, Kai indulging in the redness of your cheeks and the slackness of your jaw each time he allowed you to see the strong plains of his chest and back. And there was that time when you gone into Kai’s room whilst he worked downstairs, wearing nothing but a large t-shirt and your favourite panties. You had arranged yourself on his bed above the covers on your side with your legs tucked upwards to your chest, your arms gathering the pillow to your face. Kai had eventually entered the room after you had drifted off to sleep, his mouth falling open as he beheld you and the generous view of your bare ass that your position presented him. You had stirred five minutes later, disturbed by the sound of the shower running, Kai shivering beneath the frozen torrents of water as he forced himself to empty his mind of the truly filthy thoughts that had flooded his brain at the sight of your ass, your panties hugging your body so tightly that they were almost entirely hidden by the glorious curves of your ass. When he emerged from the shower several minutes later, he had composed himself enough to carefully move your body so that he was able to tuck you beneath the covers before stripping off his clothes and sliding into the bed beside you, his skin cold from the shower.
After some time of playing with and taunting one another, you had begun to lose hope that Kai would make a move on you, but your desperate prayers were answered when, after about a week of Kai enduring your teasing, he finally gave in, stiffly knocking on the door of the guest room late one night. “Yeah?” You called out, pausing the show you had playing on your laptop and looking towards the doorway. Kai appeared as the door was pushed open and he wasted no time in stepping into the room; closing your laptop, you pushed it to the bottom of the bed, greeting Kai with a questioning look. With his sudden presence, the room seemed to get smaller, filling with an agitated energy as you beheld his stiffly set shoulders. “Stand up.” He ordered, meeting you halfway across the room as you stood instantly as his command, the hard set of his face making your stomach flutter. He stepped up to you, his face an inch from yours. “You’ve been driving me fucking insane.” A slow smile spread across your face at his words. His gaze dropped to your grin, his jaw clenching, the muscles within feathering at your satisfaction. “Wicked thing,” he spoke through gritted teeth, taking another step forwards so that you were chest-to-chest. “I didn’t think you were enjoying it that much.” “Oh, of course I was.” You exclaimed coolly, your hands raising to settle on his chest, your fingertips tracing swirling patterns onto the soft fabric of his shirt. Kai’s eyes were dark as they bore into yours. “Are you finally going to let me do something or what? I don’t know how to make my apology even more clear to you.” You pushed his lowly spoken words aside, just wanting to forget about everything but the glorious man before you. “I don’t want anymore apologies, Kai. I want you to show me how sorry you are.” Your tone was light as your fingers roamed over his shirt, wishing that it was his warm skin you were touching as you raised your eyes to his. He hummed, his hands shooting out to latch onto your wrists and removing them from his chest. “Oh, I will.” Kai promised, stepping forwards slowly whist using his hold on your wrists to back you towards the bed. The tight hold of his slender fingers on your skin was intoxicating and you ached with both want and excited trepidation about what would come next. “Is that a threat or a promise?” You ventured, the knot of excited nerves gathered in your gut growing. “You won’t have to worry about that yet. Now stop talking.” His hands released your wrists, trailing slowly down your chest to the front of the vest you wore. The sound of the fabric tearing filled the room as his fingers hooked into the neck line, pulling the material apart in one clean rip. It fell to the floor around your feet, Kai not giving you so much as a second to track his movements as his fingers moved to hook roughly into the waistline of your pajama shorts. He quickly slid the garment down your bare legs, following the movement with his body until he was kneeling on the floor before you. You could barely breathe as he looked up at you, his hand trailing lightly up the back of your leg to your upper thigh. Your panties were the next thing to be discarded on the floor, Kai smirking as he gripped the back of your knee with his hand and pulled your leg up onto his shoulder. Your head tipped back of its own accord, the proximity of his face to your already drenched cunt overwhelming. Kai’s hand gripped onto the thigh you had hooked over his shoulder as he leaned in to press a single lingering kiss to your mons. The simple action could’ve had you cumming right there but Kai pulled back, his hand once again finding the back of your knee as he rose, pulling your leg off his shoulder and hooking it around his waist once he had risen to his full height. You could do nothing but stare at his face as his fingers deftly reached around you to undo your bra, it’s rough straps scraping against your too sensitive skin as he eased the garment from your shoulders and arms. As soon as it had hit the floor, Kai pushed your back, practically drooling as you fell onto your back in an exposed sprawl. His eyes dipped to the apex of your thighs, his heart thundering with need at the sight of the glistening sheen of wetness coating your pussy; he pushed his overwhelming want for you aside, needing to extract his revenge for your teasing before allowing himself to have his way with you. You couldn’t suppress the shudder that racked your body under the intense scrutiny of his dark eyes. “I want your head on the pillows.” He ordered, watching as you scrambled to obey his command, your pert ass exposed to Kai as you quickly crawled up the bed, flipping yourself over and settling into the soft pillows. He was on you immediately, his knees settling on each side of your legs. “You want me?” He breathed down to you, his hands itching to touch every inch of you. “Yes.” You whispered without hesitation, your hands coming to settle on his shoulders. “I can see that you’re already wet for me.” He crooned, bringing his face slightly closer to yours. “Yes. I’ve been wet all week.” You admitted shamelessly. His face crumpled in mock sympathy. You writhed your hips beneath him, restraining yourself from whining at his sudden lack of action. “You’re sinful.” He whispered roughly and you nodded, agreeing with his comment with renewed desperation. “Keep your arms above your head.” You blinked at him, but did as he asked, your hands hitting the headboard as you silently complied. Satisfied with your obedience, Kai lowered his head to the base of your throat, his hair brushing pleasantly against your collarbones. His lips were soft and warm as he pressed several kisses to your skin, drawing a trail up the column of your throat to your chin. You followed his movements by tipping your head back slightly further with each kiss as he progressed up your neck, allowing him better access and silently inviting him to use his teeth to mark you. As soon as his lips had completed their journey to your jaw, skimming against the bottom of your chin, he pulled away, denying you the full kiss to your lips that you craved. He kept eye contact with you as he moved down your body slightly, his lips latching onto your ribs and proceeding to give them the same treatment that he had just forced your neck to endure. This time, he allowed his teeth to graze against your skin as he travelled from one side of your torso to the other, goosebumps forming in his wake, chasing after his touch. You couldn’t help but groan when he pressed his nose to the space just beneath your breasts, his hot tongue finally coming contact with your skin as he kitten licked his way up to your tits. Pausing at the bottom of their sloping form, he closed his eyes, listening to your laboured, shuddering breaths. From above him, your own eyes were clenched shut, your mouth slightly parted as you forced yourself to keep your hands above your head. All you wanted to do was to weave your fingertips into the blue strands of his hair but you knew that in doing so, you risked upsetting Kai and cutting this intimate exchange short. Using his tongue, Kai softly traced the area of skin where your pert tits met your torso, tracing and licking back and forth. “If you’re not going to touch me properly, then at least let me touch you.” Kai’s teeth latched onto your skin at your words, breathless and accented with whiny need, tugging painfully at your flesh as he raised his head slightly before releasing his hold on your skin. “No. Move your hands and I’ll leave.” He responded firmly. You groaned, your head sinking further into the pillows beneath you at his blunt denial. He dipped his head once more, this time skimming his warm lips along your abdomen, past your bellybutton and to one of your hips. You hissed softly when he bit down on your skin, simultaneously latching his lips onto you and sucking harshly. Kai moved back and forth between your hips, painting them in turn with blotchy, deep red marks, the sensation becoming slightly more painful as his brutal onslaught on your skin continued. In the midst of the intense attention that Kai was subjecting your hips to, you didn’t even notice when his hand trailed down the small stretch of skin between your hips, his touch light as he ventured over your pubic bone to the heat between your thighs. Using his fingers, he pinched the skin either side of your labia together, forcing your cunt to close in such a way that made your clit throb from within the confines of his hold. You gasped when he pinched harder, moving his fingers slightly and rubbing the outer part of your pussy together. Your clit jumped and pulsed in an attempt to gain any sort of traction, Kai’s fingers going still and effectively leaving you to jerk yourself off in his hold. You moaned softly as Kai moved his face away from your skin, dropping his gaze to watch as your pussy pulsated of its own accord in it’s desperation to gain some pleasure from his manipulative touch. He smiled up at you as your hips undulated in weak desperation, his hand not leaving your snatch as he moved back up your body, his face appearing before yours. Leaning down to your pleasure-contorted face, his mouth finally found yours. The kiss was a mere brush of lips before Kai’s teeth latched onto your lower lip, pulling back slightly with your lip still in his firm hold. You groaned when, all at once, his teeth released your lip, his hand leaving your pussy. “Be ready to stay wet for another week.” He said in faux blithe, his face disappearing from view. You couldn’t bring yourself to move as he left, the door closing softly behind him, bathing in such deep frustration that tears pricked your eyes as you listened to his light footsteps as he crossed the hall, the sound of his own door opening and closing like a physical blow as he left you feeling utterly empty and unsatisfied without his warm touch.
Even the freezing water of the shower wasn’t enough to dull the burning need searing through Kai, smoldering a little hotter each time your face infiltrated his thoughts, the sounds of your breathy moans under his close ministrations replaying over and over in his mind. After his shower, his lay naked on his bed, unable to take his thoughts off of you and what you were doing. Relieving yourself from your own frustration probably. The memory of the pleasant smell of your cunt and the hot wetness that had gathered there for him had his hand wrapping harshly around his cock. He had to bite onto the corner of his pillow to remain silent as he brought himself to orgasm not once, but three times, imagining that it was your smaller hand in place of his. He tossed and turned in bed for hours, your scent seeming to hang around him, taunting him and preventing him from the blessed closure of sleep. The fourth time he made himself cum left him still feeling painfully unsatisfied, but it was enough to douse the burning desire coursing through every part of him, sleep coming to offer him a brief reprieve from the strong memories of the sound of your laboured breathing and the feel of your hot skin under his lips.
