Okay, I get that tenrou is based on an upside-down tree (baobab?) or something, but like. The characters point out several times how it looks like there's an island above the island.

So. Not doing anything up there is just a unloaded Chekhov's gun. That's a big upset. Why would you do nothing with that fun location design.

C'mon. Mashima. Put one goddamn battle up there. Let us see the view from the top. Why did you make this island a tree and not let anyone climb it at least once? Heck. The one time we were teased to go up we get interrupted by Zeref? And in the end we never went up there?? This is bullying. If I'm ever reincarnated into Fairy Tail my life's goal would be to climb that fucking tree. That's how frustrated I am at this wasted good location design.

In his head, Finny confirms this is a dissection table... or at least can be used for that purpose. Also, we finally have confirmation that the drug testing facility was German.

Really odd to say "ceased to function", but that might be part of how Finny dealt with death back then.

Ugh, it's just so sad to see her like this.

Though I still say she might be alive. Doubtful, but possible... for now.

Given how we’ve had a head kid on the chapter cover every 4 chapters since Ch199 (Theo for Ch199, Oliver for Ch203, Artie for Ch207), I think this trend will most likely continue to Mabel on the Ch211 cover.

If that’s the case, then it could give us an idea of how long the Snake flashbacks will last with the story possibly going back to the kids and Finny by Ch211. The flashbacks have already reached the point of the main duo infiltrating the circus too, so this point could further support the notion of them being shorter compared to Mey-Rin/Bard.

The mutual betrayal aspect between Robin and Crocodile makes for such an interesting parallel between them. Because, remember, when Robin is treated with even a modicum of respect by the Straw Hats she literally decides to destroy the whole world for them, so if Crocodile had actually, you know, not been an asshole Robin would have likely given him what he wanted. 

But in a way, Crocodile is similar to Robin in that it’s heavily implied he’s been deeply hurt/betrayed himself, turning him into the cynical blowhard that we see today, which is a path Robin easily could have taken but for the sake of her dream chose not to.

Also, Crocodile’s line of sight on the bottom right panel looking to Robin’s prone form on the bottom left is one of those little touches that helps with flow and readability
