Just Friends… Right?
Tumblr media
Pairing : CHANGBIN X READER ( Fluff, Friends-To-Lovers, Soft Teasing, Emotional Tension )
Summary : What starts as a simple movie night between Changbin and Y/N turns into something more, as unspoken feelings begin to surface and lines between friendship and something deeper start to blur
You were sprawled out on Changbin’s couch, a blanket thrown over your lap and his hoodie swallowing you whole. It was supposed to be a quick visit just to drop off the snacks he’d left in your car after the group hangout yesterday but somehow, it turned into a full on movie night
Again.
It always did with him.
You barely noticed anymore how easy it was to sink into his space. His home was warm, full of comfy pillows, subtle air freshener, and the smell of whatever protein heavy thing he cooked earlier. And Changbin himself was like a walking heater. Loud, chaotic, hilarious, and then suddenly quiet in those moments when he’d glance at you like you were something important
You didn’t know when your chest had started reacting to that look.
From the kitchen, you heard clinking and the faint hiss of whipped cream. You raised your voice, calling out, “If you put marshmallows in mine, I’m throwing it at you.”
“You wouldn’t,” he shouted back.
“I would, and you know it.”
Moments later, Changbin walked back in, smug grin plastered on his face and two hot chocolate mugs in hand. He handed you one with an overly dramatic flourish like he was delivering treasure.
“There you go, my lady,” he said with a bow. “Prepared with love and a very generous amount of—”
You stared at the mound of marshmallows floating on top.
“Binnie,” you deadpanned, “I just said I hate marshmallows.”
He dropped onto the couch beside you, faking shock. “What?? You do?? Wow. You really should’ve mentioned it.”
“You—!” You narrowed your eyes at him while carefully fishing out a marshmallow with a spoon. “You're lucky you're cute.”
That slipped out faster than you meant.
He froze for a half second. Then smirked. “Oh? Cute, huh?”
You waved the spoon at him. “Don’t make me regret it.”
He just laughed, eyes crinkling as he leaned back against the cushions and took a sip of his own drink, entirely too pleased with himself.
You settled back in, trying to ignore the way your pulse picked up. The movie started some action flick he’d been hyping up all week but your attention was already drifting. Not to the explosions or car chases, but to the way his arm brushed yours every time he shifted. Or how his fingers tapped against the mug in rhythm with the soundtrack. Or how, every now and then, he’d glance your way like he wanted to say something but bit it back.
You sipped quietly, then reached for the remote and lowered the volume just slightly.
“You’re staring,” he said casually, not even looking at you.
You blinked. “I am not.”
"You are. You’ve been staring at the side of my face for the past ten minutes.”
"Maybe it's just a really good side,” you muttered, setting your mug down and pulling the blanket higher.
That made him turn to you, one brow raised. “You okay?”
You hesitated. “Yeah. Just… tired. Life’s been a little much lately.”
He didn’t push. Just nodded, then nudged your foot with his under the blanket.
“You wanna talk about it?”
You shook your head. “Not really. It’s not anything specific. Just… building up.”
He didn’t say anything for a second. Then he leaned back, letting the silence sit between you comfortably before saying, “I get that. You don’t have to explain. Just stay here tonight.”
You blinked. “What?”
“I-I mean….on the couch” he corrected quickly. “Or I can take the couch, you take the bed. I just don’t want you going home feeling like that.”
Your chest ached a little from how casually sweet he was.
You were quiet for a beat. “You’re actually kind of a softie, huh?”
He grinned. “Only for you.”
Your brain short circuited for a moment.
“...You’ve been acting differently lately,” he added after a pause.
“Weird how?”
He tilted his head, thinking. “I don’t know. You’ve been quieter. Not roasting me as much. Or maybe I just miss your usual level of bullying.”
You gave him a look. “You miss me bullying you?”
“Kinda,” he shrugged. “Made it easier not to think about how cute you are.”
The words landed like a dropped pin in a silent room.
You stared at him.
“What?” you whispered.
He blinked like he hadn’t realized he said that out loud. “Shit—no—I mean yes, I meant it, but—damn. That wasn’t supposed to come out like that.”
Your heart was thumping now, louder than the muffled sounds of the movie still playing in the background.
“You think I’m cute?”
He laughed nervously, running a hand through his hair. “Y/N, I think everything you do is cute. Even when you get weirdly aggressive about marshmallows. Even when you fall asleep mid-sentence. Even when you call me annoying and steal my hoodie and pretend not to care.”
You were stunned silent.
Changbin leaned in just slightly, enough for his voice to drop lower. “I don’t know what this is between us. But it hasn’t felt like just friendship for a while now. At least not for me.”
…Me neither,” you admitted softly.
The distance between you felt suddenly way too small. But you didn’t move.
Neither did he.
Then, he reached up, fingers brushing your cheek as he tucked a strand of hair behind your ear. “Okay if I…?”
You nodded, barely breathing.
He kissed you. Soft, careful, like he was still waiting to see if you’d pull away. But you didn’t. You kissed him back, melting into it like it was the most natural thing in the world.
When he pulled back, lips hovering just inches from yours, he whispered, “Still friends?”
You smiled, eyes fluttering open. “Friends don’t kiss like that, Binnie.”
He chuckled, pulling you closer into his side and pressing a kiss to the top of your head.
“Good. Because I’m definitely not trying to be your friend anymore.”
—-
Changbin hadn’t moved since he pulled you into his side, one arm wrapped around your shoulders, your legs tangled comfortably under the blanket. The TV was still playing, but the both of you had completely stopped pretending to care about what was happening onscreen.
You were too busy replaying his kiss on a loop in your head.
Every time you shifted slightly, his grip would tighten just a little. Like he still couldn’t believe you were actually here, this close, wrapped up in him. Like maybe if he let go, you’d change your mind.
“You’re warm,” you mumbled against his chest, face tucked right beneath his collarbone.
“You’re heavy,” he replied immediately, voice muffled from the way his cheek was resting against your head.
You smacked his stomach gently, and he let out a dramatic groan. “Ow. Abused in my own home.”
“Please,” you muttered. “I barely even tapped you.”
“I’m delicate.”
You snorted. “You’re literally built like a fridge.”
Changbin smirked, his hand smoothing down your arm under the blanket. “A very soft, emotional fridge.”
There was a beat of silence before he added, quieter now, “...You don’t have to leave tonight.”
You looked up at him. “I wasn’t planning to.”
He gave you a little smile, but you could tell it meant more than what either of you said out loud.
His hand found yours under the blanket, fingers slipping between yours like it had always been that way. You were about to close your eyes, completely content in the quiet glow of his living room, when—
“Binnie?”
The door creaked open.
You and Changbin froze.
And then—
“BRO, YOU LEFT THE GROUP CHAT ON READ AND—oh.”
You peeked up over the blanket as Hyunjin stood frozen in the doorway, mouth slightly open, one brow raised in utter disbelief.
You could see his eyes dart from you, wrapped up in Changbin’s hoodie and half-buried in his chest, to Changbin’s hand clutching yours under the blanket, to the mugs on the table with still-melting marshmallows.
“Are you…?” Hyunjin pointed between the two of you. “Are you guys dating or did I just walk in on a cuddle cult initiation?”
Changbin groaned and dropped his head back against the couch dramatically.
“I knew you were gonna ruin this moment.”
Hyunjin gasped. “So it was a moment!”
You snorted into your hand, laughing way too hard at the entire situation.
“I swear—” Changbin grumbled, “—you guys have a sixth sense for interrupting me when I’m finally getting somewhere.”
Hyunjin just grinned. “Took you long enough, Romeo. You’ve been making heart-eyes at Y/N since the stone age.”
You started blushing immediately, which only made Hyunjin more smug.
“You know what?” Changbin huffed, grabbing a pillow and chucking it at him. “Get out. You’re banned from this apartment for like… a week.”
“A week?” Hyunjin scoffed. “That’s it? Bro. Please. You’ll be texting me tomorrow like ‘what do I say when she looks at me like this again’—”
“OUT.”
Hyunjin cackled all the way out the door, which Changbin locked behind him without hesitation.
When he turned back around, his cheeks were a little pink.
“Sorry about him.”
You smiled. “Honestly? I think that was the perfect way for someone to find out.”
Changbin returned to the couch and pulled you right back into his arms like it was instinct. He kissed your temple this time, whispering against your skin.
“Not gonna lie, I kinda like the whole ‘having you in my arms’ thing. Might be addicted already.”
You grinned, snuggling closer.
“Good. Because I’m not going anywhere.”

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
享受 ! .°. ݁₊ 𐙚 gn!reader, cw: kissing, fluffy fluff, they’re hella dramatic, pet names, not proofread :P
Tumblr media
CHAN
Confused puppy mode activated. He blinks at you like you’ve just told him you hate puppies and sunshine. “Wait… you don’t wanna kiss me? Like. Right now?” He immediately checks his breath. Sniffs his shirt. *“Did I do something?” When you teasingly shake your head and walk away, he dramatically collapses onto the couch like he’s in a K-drama. “So this is what heartbreak feels like…” Literally pouts for the next ten minutes. Will not stop staring at your lips. Once it goes on for that long he Starts offering kisses to inanimate objects. “Okay fine, I’ll kiss this pillow instead. It never betrays me.” Bonus: the second you kiss him later, he perks up like nothing ever happened. “Knew you couldn’t resist me.” Smug and clingy for the next hour. You’ve created a monster.
MINHO
Immediately squints at you like you just challenged his entire existence. “...You must be joking.” Proceeds to act like you just committed a crime against the state of Minho. Fake gasp. “After everything I’ve done for you? Dramatically flops onto the bed, face down. Mumbles something about betrayal and ungrateful partners. Ten seconds later, peeks up: “Was it my eyeliner? Be honest.” Lowkey offended, highkey teasing. Will start threatening your plushies. “If you don’t kiss me in five seconds, Mr. Bunbun gets it.” Refuses to let you live in peace until you give in. Starts hovering near you with his cheek out like: “You could fix this right now. Just saying.” If you still don’t kiss him, he pouts and goes quiet for a whole… five minutes. Then casually brushes his fingers against yours and mutters, “...You’re lucky I like you.”
CHANGBIN
Visibly malfunctions. Stares at you like his world just crumbled. “Huh?? You’re joking. That was a joke, right?” Looks around like he’s on a hidden camera show. “Did I not flex enough today? Is that why?” Pulls out his phone, turns the front camera on. Stares at himself. “No way someone this cute is getting rejected right now.” Dramatic™ but clingy: follows you around the room, hands behind his back like a lost duckling. “I’m not saying I’m upset. But my heart? Yeah, it’s broken.” Tries puppy eyes. Then arms-crossed-pouting. Then both. If you keep refusing just to tease him, he gasps and goes: “Wow. Betrayal. This is worse than when Felix ate my last dumpling.” Eventually sulks in a corner… until you sneak a kiss on his cheek. Perks up immediately: “You still love me. I knew it.”
HYUNJIN
Gasp. Actual gasp. Like hand-to-chest, Shakespeare-level shock. “You’re refusing me? Me?? The most kissable man alive?” Stares at you in disbelief like you just said you don’t like art or dogs. Immediately gets extra dramatic. leans against a wall like he’s in a tragic romance movie. “So this is what unrequited love feels like…” Paces around the room dramatically whispering, “Why? Why me?” May or may not fake faint into your arms. “I’m going to write poetry about this betrayal.” Pulls out his sketchbook and scribbles something that looks suspiciously like a broken heart with your name in it. BUT the moment you offer a kiss later, he puts the drama on hold so fast. “Oh? You’ve come to your senses? I forgive you.” (Still makes you kiss him three times to make up for the heartbreak.)
HAN
Instantly gasps like he’s been shot. “WHAT DID I DO?! Tell me right now. I can change.” Drops to his knees in the middle of the room. “Is it because I ate your last snack? I’ll buy you ten more. Just please kiss me.” Dramatic? Yes. Clingy? Also yes. Starts listing reasons why he deserves a kiss. “I’m cute. I’m loyal. I only cried twice this week.” 100% will try to trick you into kissing him. “Hey, what’s that on your cheek?” When you turn to face him he puckers his lips. When you still refuse, he fake-wipes a tear. “This is worse than that time my mom forgot to pack my juice box.” Crawls under a blanket burrito-style and mutters, “I’m going to disappear from society.” …until you give him a kiss and he immediately pops up like, “Okay I’m healed. You’re forgiven. Let’s make out.”
FELIX
At first, he thinks you didn’t hear him. “Wait, love… did you… did you miss the part where I asked for a kiss?” You say no. He gasps. Visibly stunned. Looks personally victimized. Places a hand on his chest like, “my freckles are crying right now.” Looks up at you with the saddest puppy eyes you’ve ever seen. “But I baked you cookies last week…” Might dramatically flop onto the floor with zero warning. “This is the end. This is how I go. KISSLESS.” Starts muttering in his deep voice: “No more sunlight. No more hope. Just vibes and heartbreak.” Will start offering you bribes: “One kiss = one Aussie accent moment.” If you give in, he lights up like the sun. “YAY! I mean… ahem thank you, my love.” If you don’t, he pouts and writes “RIP me” in your notes app.
SEUNGMIN
You say no and he just blinks at you. “Okay.” Totally calm. Deadpan. Turns back to his phone. You think he doesn’t care. He’s so chill it’s suspicious. But five minutes later, you realize… He’s suddenly so petty. “No, I’m not sharing my fries. People who withhold kisses don’t get fries.” Starts fake-laughing at memes on his phone louder than usual. “Wow. This meme gave me more affection than SOME people. Keeps glancing at you, unimpressed. “You had one job.” If you try to kiss him later to make up for it, he leans back with raised brows. “Ohhh, so now you want to kiss me?” Acts like he’s in negotiations. “I’ll consider it… for a price.” But one kiss and he melts instantly. “Okay fine. I guess I am cute enough to forgive.”
JEONGIN
Freezes. Just freezes. “Wait. Are you serious?” Squints at you like you just said you don’t like baby bread. “Do you know what you’re missing out on?” gestures to his own face “Premium. Kissable. Visuals.” At first, he acts like he’s too cool to care. “Tch. Whatever. I didn’t want one anyway.” Five minutes later: “I could’ve been kissed… but nooo… someone had to be heartless.” Starts sending you dramatic selfies captioned: “Unkissed. Unloved. Unbothered.” Tries to guilt trip you with his pouty face. “Even Seungmin would kiss me right now.” Eventually starts following you around whispering “kiss me kiss me kiss me” like a cursed ringtone. When you finally kiss him? “Took you long enough.” But his smile is so big he gives himself away in two seconds.

Pairing: Changbin x Producer!Reader Prompts: 14. Enemies to lovers tension , 18. “Don’t go. Not yet.” Setting: Studio, late-night session (REQUEST)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The beat had been looping for ten minutes.
You leaned back in the creaky desk chair, fingers tapping impatiently on your phone, trying not to sigh out loud. Across the studio, Changbin stood with his arms crossed, brow furrowed like the fate of his entire career rested on this one snare hit.
"You changed it," he said finally, not looking at you.
You didn’t flinch. “Yeah. The old one buried your vocals.”
"I liked the old one."
You turned to him slowly, meeting his eyes. “You like a lot of things that don't work in the final mix.”
Behind Changbin, Chan and Jisung froze. Chan was mid-sip of his energy drink. Jisung paused with a chip halfway to his mouth. Slowly, they turned to glance at each other—wide-eyed, silently communicating the shared pain of being stuck in the room during this again.
Changbin scoffed. “Right. Because you always know better.”
Your fingers tightened around the mouse. “You asked for feedback. Don’t whine when it’s not what you want to hear.”
From the couch, Jisung audibly inhaled like he was bracing for impact. “Uh… should I go warm up the other studio?”
Chan gave him a sharp look and whispered, “Don’t move. She’ll hear you.”
“I heard that,” you muttered, clicking back into the project.
Changbin stepped closer, ignoring the others. “I’m not whining. I’m disagreeing.”
Your chair creaked as you turned to him. “Then disagree. But don’t waste my time.”
He opened his mouth to fire back—but didn’t. Instead, his eyes flicked toward the screen behind you, watching the waveform quietly. His jaw ticked. You could practically feel the tension vibrating through the small room.
Chan shifted awkwardly. “…You guys want us to, uh, go get dinner or something?”
“No,” Changbin said at the same time you muttered, “Maybe.”
The quiet that followed was thick and awkward, broken only by the low looping beat and Jisung’s slow, cautious chip crunch.
Finally, Changbin mumbled, “I’m not trying to fight. Just… want it to sound right.”
You softened, slightly. “So do I.”
The tension didn’t dissolve—but it curled, subtle and strange. You felt his eyes on you even after he stepped back, like the last word hadn’t really been said yet.
Chan and Jisung gave each other another look—somewhere between “they’re hopeless” and “they’re definitely in love”—but wisely chose to say nothing.
Not yet, anyway.
The fluorescent lights in Studio B buzzed faintly as you sorted through vocal layers alone, trying to decompress from the earlier chaos. You didn’t expect anyone to follow you—definitely not him. But the door opened anyway, and in walked Changbin.
He didn’t say anything at first, just stood there with his hands in the pockets of his hoodie, eyes flickering around the room like he was still arguing with you in his head.
You didn’t look up. “What?”
“I didn’t like how that ended.”
You tapped the spacebar a little too hard, stopping the track. “What, us fighting in front of your members? Yeah, not my favorite either.”
He scoffed. “I wasn’t the only one with an attitude.”
Now you looked at him. Really looked. His brows were furrowed, mouth set, but something behind his eyes looked…off. Like he wasn’t here to pick another fight, but didn’t know how to do anything else.
“Well, I guess that’s what happens when someone acts like they know everything about production because they’ve been in a booth a few times,” you said, voice clipped.
“That’s not fair,” he snapped. “I’ve been working on my own music longer than you’ve been at this company.”
“And yet,” you muttered, turning back to your screen, “you’re still in my studio.”
The silence that followed wasn’t loud—but it was full. Heavy with things neither of you would say out loud. Not yet.
He moved behind you then, not close, but enough that you could feel the weight of his presence. Close enough that the silence shifted into something else entirely.
“You’re good at what you do,” he said, voice lower. “I just hate when you act like you’re the only one who cares.”
You didn’t reply at first. You couldn’t.
Because the thing was—you did care. A lot. And so did he.
You just showed it by keeping everything tight. Professional. Controlled. While he pushed back, challenged you, pressed into every soft spot like he was trying to find the line you wouldn’t cross.
And maybe this was it. Or maybe not yet.
“I’m going home,” you said eventually, standing.
But before you could grab your bag, his voice cut in, sharp.
“Running off again?”
You met his eyes. “I’m not running. I just know when to leave before something gets said that can’t be taken back.”
This time, he didn’t stop you.
But he didn’t leave either.
“Let’s try that one more time, Jeongin-ah. You were a little ahead of the beat, but the tone was great.”
Your voice was softer now, warm and patient, the exact opposite of the sharpness it carried yesterday.
Jeongin, standing in the booth with his headphones around his neck, grinned sheepishly. “My bad, noona. I’ll get it this time.”
Changbin was across the room, leaned back on the couch, jaw tight.
He hadn’t meant to show up today, but Chan had asked all of 3RACHA to sit in on vocal comp sessions to help shape the new track. He didn’t expect you to be here, running the session.
He also didn’t expect to feel like this—on edge, watching you be kind. Just not to him.
Hyunjin stepped in next and you lit up a little, laughing quietly as he teased you about coffee orders and pitch correction. Felix arrived mid-session, bringing iced Americanos for everyone and getting a shoulder pat from you in thanks.
It was the same smile. The same voice. But something about it twisted inside him.
He hadn’t seen you smile like that at him in weeks.
Or maybe you never had.
“You want to add anything here?” Chan asked, nudging Changbin with his shoulder.
He snapped out of it. “What?”
Chan gave him a look. “You’ve been zoning out since Jeongin started. You alright?”
“Fine,” Changbin muttered. “It’s fine.”
You didn’t even glance over.
He hated that he noticed. Hated that it mattered.
Because the moment he raised his voice to you, everything changed—and now, you were polite. Civil. Friendly, even.
To everyone but him.
The session wrapped smoothly, and you gave each member clear notes and encouraging feedback, lingering in the booth with Felix a bit longer while he asked about his vocal placement.
Changbin stayed seated. Didn’t move. Just watched.
And when you finally turned off the mic and began packing up your laptop, your eyes met his for the briefest second.
Cool. Flat. Professional.
Then they moved on, like he wasn’t even there.
Studio A – Two Days Later
The door creaked open as you adjusted the mic stand, glancing up just as Seungmin walked in.
“Hey,” you said, giving him a small nod. “We’ll warm up with the second verse—don’t overthink the run at the end, it sounded clean last take.”
“Got it,” Seungmin replied, setting his water down and slipping on the headphones. He was always easy to work with—calm, focused, sharp. There was a quiet rhythm to your sessions together that didn’t need much fuss.
You clicked the track into play and leaned back in your chair, jotting down timestamps.
From the corner of the room, Changbin’s voice cut through. “He was flat on ‘breathe.’ Let’s take it again.”
You paused the track, head tilting. “I was going to do another take anyway.”
“But he’s flat,” Changbin said again, arms crossed, irritation already simmering behind his words.
Seungmin glanced between the two of you, lips pressed together like he knew where this was headed.
“He’s barely flat,” you countered, voice cool. “A little vocal warmth in that line sounds better than forcing it clean.”
Changbin’s laugh was dry. “Since when do we settle for barely?”
You blinked at him. “Since it fits the tone. Since it’s a creative choice. Since—”
“You’re ignoring technical flaws.”
“And you’re micromanaging.”
Silence settled over the room. Seungmin slowly slipped the headphones off, sensing it wasn’t his place to mediate.
Chan and Jisung were off in another studio today, and there was no one here to stop this one from unraveling.
“I’m just trying to make the song better,” Changbin muttered.
Your hands curled into fists, but your voice stayed even. “No, you’re trying to win something that doesn’t exist.”
He stiffened. You could see it—the way his jaw clenched, the way his eyes flicked away like he didn’t want you to see what that line landed.
But you did. You saw it all.
You turned back to the board. “Seungmin, take five.”
He nodded quietly and stepped out.
The door shut behind him, and the silence that followed wasn’t just uncomfortable—it was personal.
“You never fight like this with anyone else,” Changbin said finally, voice low.
You didn’t turn. “Maybe because no one else turns every session into a battle.”
He stepped closer, tension radiating off him. “Or maybe you save the worst of you for me.”
You slowly turned your chair toward him, eyes narrowing. “You really want to go there right now?”
He looked at you, mouth opening like he had something else to say—but nothing came out. Just that same storm behind his eyes, one you weren’t sure either of you had the words to weather.
The studio was behind you, but his voice was still in your head.
You sat on the floor of your apartment, the light from your laptop casting pale shadows on the wall as your unfinished notes for the track blinked up at you. You hadn’t touched them since getting home.
Every little thing about today kept looping. The way Changbin looked at you like you were the one sabotaging things. Like he couldn’t separate you from the producer role. Like he didn’t want to.
You dropped your head into your hands, exhaling sharply.
This wasn’t how it was supposed to be.
Working with Stray Kids had been one of the most creatively fulfilling experiences of your career. But lately, it felt like every session with him chipped away at your confidence—at your patience. It wasn’t just professional disagreement anymore. It was personal. He made it personal.
A soft ping pulled you from your thoughts. A message from Chan.
hey, everything okay? you left kinda fast.
You hesitated, fingers hovering over the keys.
Then, another ping.
we want you here. the rest of us do. i do too. just… talk to me if you’re thinking of walking.
You didn’t respond. Not yet. You weren’t even sure what to say.
Because part of you was thinking about walking. Not because you wanted to quit, but because staying meant seeing him again. Fighting him again. And somewhere along the way, you’d stopped being sure if this friction was something you could work through—or something that had already broken too much.
You closed the laptop.
Maybe you just needed time. Maybe you needed distance.
But if Changbin noticed your silence tomorrow—or the next day, or the day after that—he’d know it wasn’t about the music anymore.
It was about him.
You arrived ten minutes early. Not to be productive. Just to breathe.
The studio lights were a little too bright, the coffee a little too bitter, and your reflection in the glass of the booth looked like someone else entirely. Still you—but muted. Quieter.
When the door opened and Changbin walked in, you didn’t even flinch.
"Morning," he said, cautiously.
You nodded. "Morning."
That was it.
The rest of the group trickled in slowly. Seungmin was first, offering a small smile your way. Chan and Han followed, already in mid-conversation about edits from the night before. When Hyunjin asked how you were, you said "good" and nothing else.
And when Changbin started talking through the plan for the day—tempo tweaks, layering ideas, minor adjustments to Seungmin’s part—you simply nodded. Took notes. Said, “Got it,” in the softest voice imaginable.
No pushback. No counters. No fire.
Chan glanced up from his laptop. Han did too.
Even Jeongin, who was just passing through with a banana milk in hand, paused and looked between you and Changbin.
The silence after one of Changbin’s notes stretched too long.
“Y/N?” he asked.
You blinked once, pulling yourself back. “That’s fine. Let’s go with that.”
“…Really?” There was something off in his tone.
You gave a small smile. “Yeah.”
He stared at you like he didn’t recognize you. Like your body had been taken over by someone else.
When Seungmin came in to record, you didn’t follow the usual back-and-forth. Just quietly adjusted levels, nodded at the right moments, and told him he sounded great. Even when he flubbed a note.
Seungmin looked uneasy. “Are you okay?”
“I’m fine,” you said. Then added, “Let’s move on.”
You felt eyes on you the entire time. Mostly his.
Changbin’s voice was strained when he finally said, “We’re taking a break.”
No one argued.
You stood, turning away to tidy up some cords, not because they needed it—just to avoid his eyes.
Behind you, you heard him say it—low and frustrated.
“She’s not fighting anymore.”
And then Chan, quieter: “Yeah. That’s the problem.”
A break was needed. Where would be better than the studio breakroom? You didn’t hear him come in, but you knew it was him. The air always shifted with Changbin. Dense. Unsettled.
“Y/N.”
You didn’t respond. Not right away. Just kept staring into your coffee cup like it held the answers to everything you didn’t want to say out loud.
“I can’t keep doing this,” he said. “Not with you pretending like nothing’s wrong.”
You finally looked up, but your expression was unreadable. “There’s nothing wrong. We’re working. That’s all we’ve ever done, right?”
He looked pained. “You’re not even trying to hide it anymore.”
“Hide what?” you snapped. “That I’m tired? That every time I open my mouth in a session, you shut me down or talk over me? You made me feel like shit in front of your members, Changbin. Constantly. And now you wanna have a heart-to-heart like none of that happened?”
His mouth opened, then closed. His fists clenched at his sides. “That’s not what I meant to do.”
“But you did it anyway.”
“I know,” he growled, frustrated. “I know I messed up, but that doesn’t change—” He stopped himself, voice catching before pushing forward. “It doesn’t change the fact that I love you.”
You blinked, stunned—but it didn’t land sweet. It felt heavy. Messy.
You laughed once, bitter. “You love me? Is that what this has been? Belittling me in front of everyone, picking fights, acting like I don’t know what I’m doing? That’s how you show love?”
“I didn’t mean to hurt you—”
“But you did,” you cut in. “So what am I supposed to do with that? Just pretend it didn’t matter because you’ve decided now you’re in love with me?”
He stepped closer, but you held your ground.
“I’m not asking you to pretend,” he said, quieter now. “I just… I didn’t know how to handle it. The way I felt about you. I was stupid. I thought pushing you away would make it easier.”
You scoffed. “And did it?”
“No,” he admitted. “It made everything worse. Especially now that you won’t even look at me like you used to.”
You paused, jaw tightening. “I can’t forget how you made me feel.”
“I don’t want you to forget,” he said. “I want to earn it back. Every piece I broke.”
The silence stretched.
You looked away first, arms folding protectively across your chest. “I don’t trust you. Not yet.”
“I know,” he said, voice softer than you’d ever heard. “But don’t go. Not yet.”
You hesitated. Your hands tightened around your coffee cup.
“I’ll stay,” you said, barely above a whisper. “But only if you mean what you said—and if you’re ready to prove it.”
“I will,” he said without blinking. “Whatever it takes.”
Recording Studio – A Few Days Later
You hadn’t said much since that night. Not more than necessary. You showed up on time, prepped the session, and avoided looking at Changbin for too long. But he was there—already in the booth, headphones on, waiting for your cue.
Chan, Han, and Seungmin sat nearby, eyes flicking between the two of you like spectators waiting for the bell to ring.
You clicked the talkback mic. “Okay, Changbin. Let’s try verse two again.”
His eyes met yours through the glass, and instead of the usual nod and go, he… smiled. Genuinely. No sarcasm, no smugness.
“Got it, Y/N.”
You blinked. It was the first time in months he’d said your name without a bite.
He rapped the verse cleaner this time—focused, grounded. You let it finish before pressing the mic again.
“Good take,” you said. “But maybe try softening that last word. You’re punching it too hard for the tone.”
“Right,” he said immediately. “You’re right. I’ll do that.”
The room went still.
Jisung blinked. Chan raised his eyebrows. Even Seungmin looked up from his phone.
“Did he just—agree with her?” Jisung whispered to Chan.
“She didn’t have to fight him,” Seungmin added, stunned.
You ignored them, staring at the console, pretending your heart wasn’t skipping weirdly in your chest.
Another take. Another clean pass. No arguing. Just him listening.
When he came out of the booth, you stepped back to give him space. But he stopped next to you, one hand resting on the console, the other lightly brushing your notebook aside to glance at your notes.
“Thanks,” he said, softly. “You always know how to fix it.”
You looked up at him, caught off guard by the sincerity in his tone. He was so close, the studio lights painting shadows under his eyes.
“Yeah,” you said quietly. “Well…someone’s gotta make you sound good.”
He chuckled. Low, warm.
Jisung looked between you two, then stage-whispered to Chan, “Are they flirting or are we hallucinating?”
“You’re not hallucinating,” Chan muttered, rubbing his temple. “I don’t know what’s happening either.”
You tried not to smile as you turned back to the console. But when Changbin brushed past you—shoulder grazing yours—it lingered.
Something had changed.
And you weren’t sure what it was yet.
But for once, it didn’t feel like war.

The job came with a thick NDA, multiple rounds of interviews, and a rule so ironclad it was printed at the top of every email:
Interactions with artists must remain strictly professional — no exceptions.
It was rule number one to stay professional. Always.
“No texting, no hanging out after hours, no dating — especially that last one,” your supervisor had said during your final onboarding session.
Your age, your experience, your grounded maturity were what made you a perfect candidate. You were supposed to be the steady one. The invisible support staff who got things done and kept boundaries.
So when you signed the contract, you didn’t even flinch. Because really, what was there to worry about?
They were idols — loud, talented, charming and young. Nearly a decade younger than you in some cases. You thought this would be easy. You’d seen enough of the industry to be unaffected. You were mature and too smart to even consider crossing a line. That’s what they liked about you. That’s why they hired you.
So you smiled and promised, “Of course. I’m here to work.”
And for a while, that was true. You became a ghost in the background like a quiet machine that made things run smoothly. Flights, rehearsals, call sheets, wardrobe runs — you were everywhere and nowhere.
The boys were all kind and respectful, just as polished offstage as they were onstage. Every interaction was warm but brief consisting of a polite bow, a quick thank you, a shared laugh during group meals before everyone snapped back into work mode.
You liked that. The routine. The mutual respect. No one crossed lines. You were part of every successful show, every last-minute disaster averted. You saw it all.
And unbeknownst to you, Changbin saw you.
He noticed how you always had everything ready before anyone asked. How you moved like clockwork, fixing problems before they became problems. How you never looked at him the way fans or even staff sometimes did — never starstruck, never flustered. Just… calm. Distant. Professional.
Maybe it was the distance that pulled him in.
He started slowly. Nothing obvious. Just enough to inch his way into your radar.
Lingering a little longer after rehearsals. Offering you his coffee instead of the manager. Throwing jokes your way when you passed by, pretending it wasn’t for your laugh. At first, you thought he was just friendly — he was like that with everyone.
He was always respectful, polite. Always smiling. He offered to carry heavy bags when he didn’t need to.
But then he started saying things like, “You didn’t eat again, did you?” or “Don’t overwork yourself, noona. I can tell when you’re pushing too hard.”
And that’s when you started noticing him.
The way his voice dropped when he spoke directly to you. The way his smile softened when you were nearby. The way your heart started skipping the tiniest beat whenever he looked your way.
You told yourself it was nothing. It was just a silly little crush. A fleeting moment of warmth in an otherwise exhausting job. He was just… sweet, observant and thoughtful.
And way too young.
So you buried it under professionalism. For weeks, months — you reminded yourself of the rules every day.
You kept your distance. Avoided lingering in his space. Laughed a little less. Held your clipboard a little tighter. Pretended it didn’t sting when he looked disappointed.
But Changbin wasn’t playing games. And he didn’t back down.
It was your name he said first when he walked into a room. Your opinion he asked when choosing outfits. Your face he sought out in the crowd after each show, eyes scanning until he found your small nod of approval.
You weren’t supposed to matter like that.
You tried to logic your way out of it.
It’s just admiration. You’re older. He wouldn’t fall for you. Don’t be that staff member. Don’t ruin this.
But the feelings crept in anyway. And the more you pushed them down, the more impossible they became to ignore.
*****************
On the other hand, Changbin was suffering.
Every word you said, every laugh that passed your lips, made him spiral just a little more. He’d liked you since the first time you scolded him gently for not sleeping enough—voice stern, but hands fussing over him like he mattered. Like someone had to care.
He was used to being looked up to — respected, admired, even babied by fans and teammates. But around you? He forgot how to talk. Forgot how to be. He turned into a blushing, nervous, walking contradiction. All muscle and swagger in front of cameras, but a blushing, breathless boy when you glanced his way.
He forgot how to be cool. Forgot how to form full sentences. Once, he dropped his protein bar because your hand brushed his wrist while passing him a note.
So when you’d started avoiding him like the plague — subtly at first — like skipping out of rooms a few seconds earlier. Passing off tasks involving him to someone else. Rewriting schedules just to make sure your paths didn’t cross too much.
He noticed
He wasn’t stupid, he noticed the way your laughter stopped when he entered the room. The way your tone shifted from warm to clipped. The way you never quite met his eyes anymore, as if you were afraid of what they might give away — or what they might see reflected in his.
And it hurt.
He didn’t know what he’d done wrong, only that every inch you put between the two of you felt like a punishment he hadn’t earned. He’d stay up wondering if he imagined it all, the tension, the glances, the comfort he felt around you.
It was like every time he thought he was getting closer, you slipped further out of reach.
But no. That couldn’t be right.
He felt it. It was real. It had to be. And if he didn’t say something soon, he was afraid his heart wouldn’t survive the back and forth.
He was done waiting. Done wondering.
Because you made him feel things he never expected to feel — not in a world built on cameras and contracts. And no rule in the world could change that.
*****************
The next day, the studio was buzzing with post-recording chaos. You were crouched in a corner of the studio, scribbling notes and finalizing the van routes for tomorrow’s shoot. The room was loud with movement — the members packing up, cords being wrapped, conversations overlapping.
You felt him before you saw him. That weight in the air. The way your body tensed out of instinct.
“Hey,” Changbin said, stepping close, voice low and hesitant. “How are you?”
You glanced up briefly. “Fine.”
He blinked. “Just fine?”
You nodded, eyes dropping back to your clipboard. “Tired. Hectic day.”
There was a pause. Not a heavy one, just long enough to notice.
“…Are you avoiding me?”
Your fingers froze over the page.
You forced a scoff. “What? No.”
But you didn’t look at him.
He took a small step closer. “You haven’t talked to me all week unless you had to.”
“I’ve been busy.”
“You always made time—before.”
You looked up then, a little sharper than you meant to. “Changbin, don’t make this a thing.”
“It is a thing,” he said quietly, hurt threaded through his voice. “You won’t even meet my eyes anymore. I don’t know how to get through to you anymore.”
Your throat tightened. “I’m just trying to keep things professional.”
“You didn’t seem to mind when we were laughing backstage last month. When you brought me snacks because you knew I skipped dinner. When you stayed behind during soundcheck just to fix my in-ear volume—”
“That was work,” you cut in.
His eyes narrowed slightly. “No, it wasn’t. Not all of it.”
Before you could answer — before you could run — a voice called across the room.
“Binnie!”
Chan called him, he was holding up a clipboard. “Let’s go over this one last time.”
Changbin looked torn, still staring at you. His jaw clenched. His shoulders set.
But after a beat, he stepped back. “I’ll find you later.”
And then he walked away. You exhaled a breath you hadn’t realized you were holding, gathered your stuff and left the room.
*****************
Later that night, the building was nearly empty. Your desk was dimly lit by the last tired glow of your monitor, the silence broken only by the hum of the vending machine down the hall and the scratch of your pen checking off final tasks.
You shut your laptop and slipped into your coat, bag already slung over your shoulder, ready to go home. Your mind was still replaying the conversation from earlier today, you let out a sigh. You were glad this day was over.
But when you opened your office door, you nearly collided with him.
Leaning against the wall outside your office, hoodie pulled up, hands in his pockets — like he’d been waiting.
You stopped. “Changbin…”
“I said I’d find you.”
His expression wasn’t playful or bold. It was tired. Like he’d been carrying something too heavy for too long.
You stepped out, pulling your coat tighter, already too tired for this.
“If this is about earlier—”
“It is,” he said firmly. “It’s about everything. You avoiding me. The way you shut me out. The way you keep pretending we’re nothing. That this is nothing. You think I haven’t noticed?”
You exhaled harshly. “Changbin, stop.”
“No. I’m done stopping.” His voice cracked slightly, but his stare didn’t waver. “I’m done pretending.”
You froze. “Changbin…”
“I like you. And I can’t keep pretending I don’t.”
You closed your eyes. “You’re not supposed to say that—”
“No. Just listen.”
He stepped forward, close enough for you to hear the catch in his breath.
“I’ve liked you for months. Every time you laugh, every time you scold me for skipping meals, every stupid thing I do just to get a smile out of you… it’s real for me.”
You shook your head, voice shaking. “Are you out of your mind?! You’re— you’re almost a decade younger than me.”
“So what?” he shot back, eyes flashing. “It’s not like we met when I was eighteen! I’m twenty-five, for god’s sake. Do you think I don’t know what I want?”
You gaped at him, stunned by the intensity in his voice.
“I know who I am. I know how I feel. And I know that every time you walk into a room and pretend we’re nothing, it fucking hurts.”
You shook your head and tried to walk past. “This isn’t the time.”
He moved to block you — not aggressively, just enough to make you look at him.
You clenched your jaw. “We can’t do this.”
“Why not?” he demanded.
“Because this is real life, Changbin,” you snapped, louder than you meant to. “This isn’t a K-drama. There are rules. Boundaries. Consequences.”
He looked at you, eyes storm-dark. “I don’t care.”
“Well, I do!” you fired back. “I’m staff. You’re the artist. There’s a rule printed at the top of every goddamn company email — no dating the artists. It’s not just a suggestion, it’s my job on the line!”
The hallway rang with your voice, thick with frustration and guilt and the aching truth you’d been trying to suffocate for weeks.
He exhaled, stepping just a bit closer. His voice softened. “Look, I’m not asking you to throw your life away. I’m not asking you to risk your job or break every rule for me. I know how it works here. I read the rules. Every time I think about texting you, I remember the contract. But then I see you the next day and I wish I’d sent it anyway.”
“Do you know how fast they’d fire me if anyone found out I even thought about you like that?” you snapped. “They wouldn’t see you as the one who started it. They’d say I manipulated you. That I used my position to flirt with someone ten years younger than me? That I’m—”
“Stop,” he said. “You’re not some scandal waiting to happen. You’re the only person who treats me like I’m just me. Who sees past the stage lights and the cameras.”
Your chest ached.
He stepped forward, gaze steady. “If it ever came out—if the company found out—I wouldn’t let them touch you. I’d take the blame. I’d tell them it was me. Because it is, you’ve never once crossed the line. I was the one who fell for you. I was the one who waited—who hoped you'd notice.”
You blinked, stunned.
“I’d fight for you,” he said simply. “If it came down to it… I’d talk to them. I’d tell the truth. That you were the one who tried to do the right thing and I was the one who couldn’t stay away.”
He hesitated, then added softer, “But I’d be careful. We would. I’d never let it get that far. And I’d never let anyone hurt you—not the company, not the fans, not anyone.”
You closed your eyes.
“Just three dates.” Changbin pleaded.
Your eyes snapped open and you looked at him.
“Three quiet, secret dates,” he said. “If after that you still think this is a mistake, I’ll walk away. I’ll act like it never happened. But if there’s even a part of you that feels what I feel… please, noona.”
Your breath hitched at the sound of it, the way he said noona, not playful, not flirty, but tender. Honest.
You wanted to say no. You should say no.
But instead, your voice betrayed you.
“…Three?”
He nodded. “Three.”
“I’m scared,” you admitted, voice trembling.
He reached out then, slowly, like he was afraid you'd pull away. But you didn’t.
“I am too,” he said. “But maybe...we can be scared together?”
And when you gave the faintest nod, barely more than a breath, he smiled. Not triumphant but relieved.
“I’ll make them count.”
Then, like a gentleman who knew not to press, he turned and walked away, letting you breathe.
You leaned against the wall, pulse hammering in your ears.
Three dates. That’s all.
And yet it already felt like the start of something you’d never be able to undo.
*****************
The next day during the shoot, the atmosphere was buzzing with controlled chaos. Cameras rolled, lights blazed, and you were coordinating everything behind the scenes, clipboard in hand and eyes sharp.
Changbin was nearby, casually leaning against the equipment cart, watching you with a quiet intensity.
You barely noticed at first.
But then, as you passed him the schedule for the next segment, his fingers brushed lightly against yours — just a second longer than necessary. You felt your cheeks heat up instantly.
He gave you a small, almost imperceptible smile — the kind that said, I’m here. I see you.
Later, when you paused to sip your water, he appeared beside you, nodding at the bottle.
“Don’t forget to hydrate, ma'am,” he said softly, eyes twinkling.
You blinked, caught off guard. “I—Thanks.”
He gave a slight wink, then stepped back, disappearing into the crew like nothing had happened.
Throughout the day, you caught these little moments — a whispered comment just loud enough for you, a glance that lingered too long, a touch that was barely there.
And every time, you found yourself blushing, smiling when no one was looking.
You admired how careful he was — how he flirted like a secret code only you could decipher.
It made your heart race, and your mind spiral.
How did he get so good at this without anyone noticing?
*****************
The day after the shoot, the boys were officially off schedule for a week. A rare golden pocket of free time, and the dorm had erupted into lazy chaos — gaming, loud music, snacks on every surface, and Seungmin walking around with a face mask like he was in his own world.
Changbin should’ve felt relaxed.
He didn’t.
His mind was spinning through three separate date plans, backup options in case you bailed, and whether or not his hallway confession had been too much.
He was in the kitchen, pouring himself some water, when Hyunjin leaned over the counter with a smug little smile.
“So…” Hyunjin started, dragging out the vowel, “Noona, huh?”
Changbin froze.
“What about Y/N?” he asked, too fast. Too defensive.
Hyunjin raised an eyebrow. “Didn’t say which noona. You just told on yourself.”
Felix suddenly burst out laughing from across the room. “OH MY GOD you confessed?!”
“No one confessed,” Changbin muttered, face already pink.
“You sure?” Minho teased, biting into his apple with a smirk, “’Cause why are you so pink?
“I’m just… naturally this color.” Changbin muttered quickly.
Chan popped his head in, grinning wide. “Dwaekki alert! Look at you, blushing like a dweakki!”
“Shut up!” Changbin yelped, running from the room, hands over his face like it might hide the glow.
“You’re not slick, hyung. I see how you look at her like a love sick puppy.” Seungmin chimed in as he passed by.
“It’s not like that.”
Jisung popped his head out from the blanket pile on the couch. “So when are you asking her out?”
“I’m not—”
“Not what? Dating her? Yet?” Jeongin grinned. “You know we’ve been taking bets, right?”
Changbin groaned and shoved his face into his hands.
He wanted to tell them so badly. That you said yes. That he got three whole dates. That he was already planning the third one like a man about to propose.
But he also knew — if it didn’t work out, if the risk was too much for you to keep taking — he couldn’t stomach the thought of them looking at you differently.
So he just muttered, “It’s not what you think,” and grabbed a protein bar like it might protect him from further interrogation.
Chan’s grin widened. “Are you keeping something from us?”
“No!” Changbin defended quickly.
The others burst into laughter.
“You’re so busted!” Jeongin chuckled.
Felix chuckled, “Bro, you can’t hide it. Your face says it all.”
Changbin wanted the floor to swallow him up, the teasing didn’t stop.
“Oh my god, he’s BLUSHING,” Chan laughed. “Binnie, you okay? You need us to buy flowers or plan the proposal?”
“Do not involve yourselves,” Changbin grumbled.
“Too late,” Minho smirked. “We’re emotionally invested now. If you mess it up, we get joint custody of her.”
“Don’t even joke about that,” Changbin shot back, surprisingly serious.
They all paused. And just like that, every single one of them knew. He wasn’t just crushing.
He meant it.
And while they still spent the rest of the night teasing him mercilessly, no one crossed the line. Not once.
Because behind all the jokes, they respected you. And they knew Changbin — when he loved, it was for real.
*****************
It was officially time for your first date, you were a nervous wreck. You planned to meet outside a nondescript café at a weird hour on a Tuesday — no other staff in sight, no fans, no eyes. He told you to wear something comfortable and warm. And while it sounded simple enough, somehow it had turned into a full-blown crisis in your apartment.
Your bed was a battlefield of sweaters, jeans, jackets, and outfits you hadn’t even remembered owning until today. You’d tried on six different combinations. Then went back to the first. Then tried again with a different scarf.
You weren’t dressing for a red carpet. You weren’t even dressing for work.
But something about this date made your stomach do flips.
You stared at yourself in the mirror.
Comfy and warm.
Okay. Simple sweater. Long coat. Jeans. Boots. Casual. Cute. Chill. Nothing that screamed “I spent forty-five minutes spiraling in front of a mirror and had an internal breakdown over knitwear.”
You grabbed your bag, took one last deep breath, and whispered to your reflection, “It’s just three dates. Be cool.”
Your heart whispered back  yet again: But what if it’s more?
You ignored it and headed out the door to meet the man who made you want to risk all your carefully drawn lines.
When you arrived at the meeting spot — a quiet, tucked-away café on a side street near the Han River — Changbin was already there, hood pulled low, scarf around his face, and holding two takeout cups.
The minute he spotted you, he straightened.
And beamed.
“Hi,” he said, voice soft and low.
You smiled shyly. “Hi.”
He handed you a cup. “Green tea. I wasn’t sure if you already had caffeine today.”
The fact that he remembered your sensitivity to coffee after 4 p.m.? Noted.
“Thanks,” you said, trying to keep your voice steady.
He nodded toward the street. “Come on. I want to show you something.”
You walked side by side for a while, shoulders brushing occasionally, silence soft and easy between you. He led you through a small park, then down a narrow path that opened up to a quiet stretch of the river — far from the couples and cyclists, hidden from the usual crowds.
A small blanket was already spread out on the grass.
“Wait—did you come here before to set this up?” you asked, blinking at the small pile of homemade sandwiches, some of your favourite snacks and hand warmers.
He looked away, scratching the back of his neck. “I, uh... maybe.”
You laughed. “That’s... really sweet.”
“I wanted it to feel normal,” he said, glancing at you. “Like something we could just do. Without the noise.”
You sat down beside him, and for a while, you both just watched the river. Quiet. Present. The sky was turning cotton-candy pink, and the city lights were slowly blinking awake.
He passed you a sandwich. “I made it myself.”
You took a bite, then blinked.
It was unevenly cut, slightly messy, and had... a very generous amount of black pepper.
You coughed lightly and looked at him, amused. “Did you season this with, like... your whole heart and half the pepper grinder?”
Changbin winced. “Too much?”
You nodded slowly, chewing. “A little but it's okay.”
He looked horrified. “I swear it didn’t taste like that when I tested it—wait, does that mean you like it enough to keep eating it?”
You raised an eyebrow but didn’t stop chewing.
He grinned, victorious.
Then he took a bite of his own sandwich and immediately froze.
His eyes went wide. He blinked. Once. Twice.
And then he exploded.
“NOONA—DON’T EAT THAT!” he gasped, as he fumbled for your sandwich like it was a bomb about to go off. “I SWEAR I DIDN’T MEAN TO MURDER YOU WITH PEPPER.”
You just blinked at him mid-chew, caught between laughing and choking. “It’s not that—”
“It’s a disaster!” he cried, waving his arms like a food safety officer. “I was measuring with my heart. My heart, noona. That was a mistake.”
You couldn’t hold it in anymore laughter burst out of you so hard you nearly dropped the sandwich.
“Oh my god, sit down, drama queen,” you wheezed. “It’s edible.”
“Barely,” he pouted, dramatically collapsing onto the blanket beside you. “I wanted to impress you, not ruin your taste buds.”
You took another bite, calmly. “Honestly, ten out of ten for effort. Negative two for spice control.”
He groaned. “I’m never cooking again.”
You both looked at each other and started laughing, and that laughter dissolved the last bits of awkwardness that had been clinging to your nerves all day.
Still, despite the extra pepper, it was perfect not because it was flawless, but because he’d made it himself. And you noticed he’d remembered all your favorite snacks too. The granola bar you always nibbled between call times. The exact brand of spicy chips you hoarded in the back of the van. Even your weird obsession with almond biscuits.
He didn’t just remember. He noticed. And your heart did somersaults.
You talked for hours. About everything except work. Childhood stories. Favorite scents. Regrets you never said out loud before. The whole time, he didn’t touch you. Didn’t rush, he just listened like no one ever had. Like every word was something he wanted to carry home and keep.
When he dropped you off at your apartment building, he didn’t even lean in. Just gave you the softest look and whispered, “Sleep well, noona.”
And even as he walked away…you couldn’t stop smiling.
*****************
He booked a private room at a planetarium for your second date.
You’d barely finished processing the word when he texted you the location. A literal planetarium.
He said it was “research for a concept video,” and you rolled your eyes, but didn’t question it.
Because the minute you stepped inside the dim, dome-shaped room — all the chaos and rules and pretending melted away.
It was quiet. Soft galaxies shimmered across the ceiling, light dancing in slow spirals above your heads. The air was cool, still, and scented faintly with the citrusy cologne he always wore — the one you noticed but never mentioned.
Just the two of you. No titles. No cameras. No reminders that this wasn’t allowed.
He brought a small bag, and from it, he pulled out a tiny Bluetooth speaker.
“Trust me,” he said, already smirking at your raised eyebrow.
Then he hit play, it was one of his unreleased demos. A soft, emotional verse you’d never heard, it was a confession in lyrics.
You didn’t ask who it was about. He didn’t say. You didn’t need to.
You sat side by side in the dark, arms brushing, knees bumping. And when the artificial stars tilted above you, your head fell naturally onto his shoulder.
He didn’t move.
Just let out the softest breath like he’d been waiting for that moment longer than he’d ever admit.
Your heart was racing so loud you were convinced he could hear it over his own vocals.
When the song ended, neither of you spoke. You sat in the gentle dark, breathing the same quiet air, your pulse drumming against borrowed gravity.
Later, on the walk out to your separate cars, the night air felt colder than usual. Changbin walked slowly, like dragging his feet might delay the inevitable end.
Then he said in a low voice, “I wish I could take you on dates like this in the daylight.”
You stopped walking.
Your chest ached, because God, you wished that too. You wanted sunlight and loud laughter and crowded cafés. You wanted his hand in yours where people could see.
But you turned toward him, eyes gentle, voice soft.
“But I liked it,” you said. “Just us.”
He looked at you and something flickered in his eyes. Wonder. Relief. Maybe even love.
And he whispered, “Me too.”
*****************
It was raining softly the night of your third date.
The kind of drizzle that misted your coat and made the city glow golden. The air smelled like wet pavement and steamed dumplings from street vendors, and everything felt a little softer. A little quieter.
Perfect for staying in.
Changbin had offered his place — “We can watch something dumb and be comfy. No pressure. Just pajamas, movies and snacks.”
And after everything, after the stars and the quiet laughter and the way his voice cracked just a little when he said goodbye last time...you didn’t hesitate to say yes.
Luckily for you both, Hyunjin was out of town visiting his parents that weekend. Meaning there will be no awkward interruptions, no sudden bangs on the door, and no suspicious smirking from the world’s most dramatic roommate.
Just you and Changbin.
The apartment was cozy and clean in the way only someone who anxiously vacuumed before you arrived could manage.
You kicked your shoes off and padded in with fuzzy socks, arms full of snacks you insisted on bringing.
Changbin took one look at the grocery bag and teased, “You’re trying to bribe me with bbq chips, aren’t you?”
You grinned. “Is it working?”
“Maybe.”
He was wearing a hoodie so soft-looking it should’ve been illegal. His hair was slightly tousled like he hadn’t finished drying it. And when he took your coat, his fingers brushed yours and stayed a moment longer than they needed to.
You settled into the couch together with a mountain of pillows, blankets, and a massive bowl of popcorn you both agreed was too salty but too late to fix.
The movie — some old cheesy rom-com from the early 2000s — was barely playing before you felt his arm stretch across the back of the couch.
You glanced sideways.
He wasn’t looking at you, not directly. But the corner of his mouth twitched, like he was trying to look chill.
You smirked and leaned your head back against his arm.
He shifted slightly closer and you took the chance to rest your head against his chest, your legs curled under you, and one of his hands gently brushing your arm in slow, absentminded motions.
It was quiet. Not the kind of silence that needed to be filled. The kind that felt like a heartbeat.
Halfway through the movie, he murmured, “You comfy enough?”
You nodded, nose slightly buried in his hoodie. “Mhm.”
His voice dropped a little. “Me too.”
As the credits rolled and the room dipped into low lamp light and leftover snack crumbs, he nudged you slightly, voice soft near your ear.
“So…” he said. “What’s the verdict?”
You blinked up at him, heart stuttering.
He smiled, nervous. “The three dates. Was it enough to convince you?”
You stretched slightly, still half-curled in his arms. Then, very casually, you said, “Hm. I think we should keep doing it.”
He stared at you for a few seconds.
Then he exploded.
“YAH—” he shouted, practically shaking you. “NOONA DON’T DO THAT TO ME, I ALMOST DIED—”
You shrieked, laughing, swatting his chest. “What?!”
“I thought you were gonna say no!” he groaned, flopping back dramatically against the cushions.
“You’re so dramatic,” you teased, burying your face into his hoodie.
He hugged you tighter. “You like that about me.”
You tilted your face upward slightly, just enough to meet his eyes. He was already looking at you. And everything that had been playful and teasing just a moment ago just stilled.
His smile softened, lips parting just barely as if to say something, but he hesitated.
You could feel the shift in the air. The way his thumb started brushing lightly against your arm. The way his breath slowed. The way your heart sped up.
“Can I…” his voice dropped, almost unsure.
Then steadier, with quiet conviction, he asked, “Can I please kiss you?”
Your breath hitched. You hadn’t expected the question to feel so heavy, so intimate.
You didn’t answer right away.
You just looked at him — the warmth in his eyes, the nervous hope swimming beneath the surface, the way he held you like you were something fragile and precious.
So instead of words, you leaned in.
He met you halfway.
And when his lips touched yours, it wasn’t fireworks. It wasn’t overwhelming or rushed. It was gentle and soft, like everything finally made sense.
The kiss melted into the quiet warmth between you, his hand cupping your cheek, your fingers curling into the hem of his hoodie.
When you pulled back, the world stayed still.
You looked at him, breath caught, cheeks warm, and whispered, “That was dangerous.”
Changbin pressed his forehead to yours, smiling, voice low and steady now. “But so worth the risk.”
You sighed, smiling. Maybe it wouldn’t always be easy. But if you were careful and you had him by your side.
Then it was worth it. All of it.

Another sigh passed your lips as you rubbed your temples, the screen in front of you blurring for a moment and making you close your eyes tightly. You leaned back in your chair to stretch, you've been sitting in the same position for hours.
"Wow." you muttered, realizing your legs were actually numb. It was time to get up, at least for a moment, you thought and stood up. You made your way to the big glass windows behind your chair and stared at the view of the city.
Here, on the top of it all stands your dream. You've worked hard to get to where you are, dedicating your entire life only to your career. You knew nothing else but work, yet sometimes it felt as if everything was about to crumble underneath your feet.
A knock on your door snapped you out of your thoughts.
"Come in." you said after clearing your throat.
"Miss, I brought you the papers you asked for." it was your assistant, Maxine. The poor girl had to stay behind with you every time and you made sure to pay her those extra hours well, feeling bad that you had to make her stay here on a Friday night.
You turned and smiled slightly at her, nodding towards your desk.
"You can leave them there. Thank you, Maxine." you said and she nodded, putting the big stack of papers on top of the other, smaller stack you were almost done with.
"You can go home, Maxine. There's no point in you being here plus it's Friday, you must have somewhere better to be than at work." you added and her eyes widened slightly.
"Are you sure miss?" she asked and you nodded.
"Of course, have a good weekend!" you said with a smile.
"Thanks, you too boss!" she smiled back and exited the office, leaving you alone with your thoughts and papers.
You glanced at the table, calculating how long you'll be here but then you noticed a light pink envelope sticking between the papers. With furrowed brows you came closer to the table, pulling the envelope out.
'From your faithful employees, consider this an early birthday gift to the best boss ever!'
You chuckled when you read the writing on it, your fingertips running over the various signatures of your employees. What did they have up their sleeve now?
You opened up the envelope and pulled out the little card inside, reading it quietly.
Hello,
my name is Changbin and I am your strong dolly.
I love going on gym dates and after that eating some good food! I enjoy watching movies so I hope you'll share your favorites with me.
Please be tender with me, even though I seem tough, I need someone to lean on too so don't forget to give me a hug.
Hope you will come to love me as much as I love you.
"What?" you chuckled then saw someone added something on the card.
'We got him delivered to your house, enjoy!'
No way. Did your employees buy you a sex doll?
Your face warmed up instantly. Those bastards, you chuckled to yourself, the nickname more of an endearment than an insult.
Maybe the papers could wait until tomorrow.
-
It was raining hard when you finally parked in front of your building, rushing inside with your bag shielding your head. You almost tripped over your legs, your heels making it hard to run.
The building was completely quiet as you stepped into the elevator, pressing the button 12. You looked down at your watch, it was almost 2am. You shook your head, impatient to see what the gift looked like.
There was a huge box in front of your apartment door and you made your way there quickly.
After unlocking your door, you dragged the box inside, almost falling over a few times. After quickly closing the door and throwing your heels off of your feet, you decided to open the box immediately, no more waiting.
"Oh. Look at that." your heart skipped a beat.
This Changbin doll definitely looked like a man you'd turn your head after if you saw him in the street. At least your employees seemed to know your taste.
At the same time, you were curious, you've never seen a doll that is so humanlike. Gulping, you kneeled down next to the box and reached out to touch his face.
"Tell me your skincare routine." you chuckled, playing with his hair a little.
You noticed a piece of paper stuck between his fingers so you grabbed it gently and looked at it.
My honey!
I chose a comfy outfit for us to enjoy a movie together!
Hope you'll love our first night together as much as I will!
Honey. You blushed profusely at the nickname.
Have I been single for so long that this got me going?, you asked yourself, feeling embarrassed.
Yet, you couldn't even remember the last time someone flirted with you. And if they did, it probably went over your head because you were only thinking about work 24/7. Even now, you had brought the papers home so you can finish everything during the weekend.
Your stomach growled and you stood up, holding the manual for the dolly as you heated up some dinner. You needed to eat healthier food, you knew that. But who has time for cooking when you're working 24/7?
You read the manual carefully, flipping the pages as you ate your dinner; leftovers from yesterday. Not ideal, but you had no other options at this moment. Your face started burning suddenly when you got to the section about what the doll was made for and what it can do.
"Oh my god." you quickly closed the manual with a little giggle. You glanced at the box, deciding to take a shower and get rid of your suit first.
When you were finally refreshed, feeling like a new person, you made your way back to your new doll.
"How do I get you out?" you pursed your lips. Yes, you did some yoga but you had no idea if you could lift up an entire human sized doll.
You pushed the box to your room, putting it next to your bed. With all the strength you could gather you managed to pull Changbin out of the box and place him on top of your covers with your body giving out and plopping down on top of him.
"Oh." you were surprised by the warmth of his body. You didn't really follow the latest technology developments, only using what you needed for work and daily life, but this must be some new and advanced technology you've never come across.
You crawled under the covers, putting them over Changbin too as you grabbed your phone and checked out the site with the dolls. Their primary function was to be used for pleasure but you felt like Changbin could be more than that. Maybe a cuddle buddy? You chuckled and pressed your cheek against his chest as you laid half of your body on top of him. You could feel the muscles underneath the clothes he was dressed in and it made your heart skip a beat.
You continued scrolling through the site, seeing the other doll models, some of them sold out. They were all charming in their own way, but you were sure you'd choose Changbin if you were buying one by yourself.
"Wow, only one of each?"
You scrolled all the way to the end and in the left-hand corner you saw very small letters saying: property of BIMT.
"BIMT?" it sounded so familiar, and you couldn't remember where you had heard that before.
You shrugged, too tired to think or look at your phone anymore so you put it aside and hugged your Changbin dolly, happy to have a warm body to hold during a usually lonely night.
Tumblr media
You had never slept this well in your life, so well that you didn't even hear your alarm clock trying to wake you up.
"Fuck!" you exclaimed once your eyes opened and you noticed it was past 10am.
Usually, during the weekend you'd still wake up earlier, around 7am so you could go for a run and do your stretching or yoga session. Plus, the weekend was the only time you could clean up your apartment thoroughly.
What surprised you even more, was that you were turned on for some reason. You must've had some interesting dreams to wake up like this.
Embarrassment seeped into you as you looked at Changbin's face. You scanned around your room as if someone was watching you, which of course no one was. But you felt so awkward using the doll.
You propped yourself on your elbow and hovered over Changbin's face.
"Hello. Good morning." you waved in front of his face but of course he didn't even blink.
"How do I do this?" you chewed on your lip. You observed him for another moment before placing your palm on his chest and tentatively sliding it down. Your hand explored slowly and gently, working yourself up as you touched his defined muscles.
"Huge..." you gasped a little when you gripped at his bicep. Your body was heating up and so was his, the doll was getting excited. You read it in the manual but seeing it happen was something else. Licking your lips, your hand slid down more as you threw your leg over him, your knee brushing against his bulge.
"Oh." your eyes widened and you stopped for a moment to catch your breath, before sliding your hand down to touch him. Your doll was definitely big.
Something inside you snapped and you forgot about being embarrassed quickly as you started moving against his thigh. You whined, finding a good position to where you could straddle his thigh and continued your ministrations. The dolly seemed somehow... happy. Your cheeks warmed up suddenly, it felt like his attention was on you, like his eyes were actually looking at you. Your knee kept brushing against his erection, making him twitch in his pants.
"It's like you're alive." you whispered, mesmerized.
You bit on your lip and decided to rid him of his pants and underwear.
"Oh my." you slapped your hand against your mouth. "Changbin." you giggled after saying his name, it felt good to feel it rolling off of your tongue.
Taken by the moment, you got rid off your clothes and his shirt too, admiring his beautiful body. You wanted to take your time with him and kiss him everywhere, explore him with your hands but that would have to wait for another time when you're not this desperate to get off.
You hovered over him before sitting down, your wet pussy pressed against his hard cock.
"Ah." a little moan escaped your lips as you started grinding on him with slow and languid movements, enjoying the way Changbin's cock kept twitching against you like he wanted in.
Your embarrassment completely disappeared, turning into pure pleasure as your clit kept dragging against him, your pussy clenching to be filled up. You lifted your hips just a little to grab his cock and slowly push it in, even though he was bigger, you took him well like he was made just for you.
You put in the work as you bounced on top of him, your hands roaming on his belly and chest, across his perky nipples as you grabbed at him. He was heating up even more, matching the heat of your body and the hot atmosphere created inside your room. You looked at Changbin's face and gasped, it seemed as if he was smirking ever so slightly. Your pussy clenched at the thought of him being alive and touching you too so you sped up, the sound of skin slapping skin echoing loudly in the otherwise quiet room.
"Binnie." you whimpered and he twitched hard. It was right there in the manual, just keep saying his name.
"Binnie." you said again, your movements becoming sloppier as you got more tired and closer to your high. "Changbin!" you groaned loudly once you exploded, riding your high on top of him as you gyrated your hips. Tears gathered in your eyes from the overstimulation you brought to yourself as you kept repeating his name until he exploded inside you, filling you up with ropes of warm cum.
"Fuck." you cursed, lifting off of him, feeling all sticky and embarrassed again.
"I must be crazy." you shook your head and ran to your bathroom to get cleaned up. Of course, you cleaned your dolly too and then looked at his face more closely, biting on your lip and trying to see if there were any changes in his expression.
"You need a hug, right?" you said before putting your arms around Changbin. It felt so comforting to be wrapped around him.
Your weekend was mostly uneventful as always, but this time you had Changbin watching over you as you cleaned around your apartment. You managed to take him everywhere by putting him on your office chair with wheels.
"You could help, you know?" you grunted before continuing to vacuum the living room.
Changbin's eyes followed you while you cleaned and while you did your yoga. He watched as you sat hunched over your computer in your home office and worked, typing quickly and going over all the papers you brought home. He watched you struggling with the groceries and cursing quietly.
He wished he could help.
~
Monday came around too quickly and you rolled out of bed reluctantly, not wanting to separate from Changbin's warm body.
Spring was around the corner, but it was still cold in the mornings and you wanted nothing more than to stay in bed all day. But, you had a really important meeting today and you couldn't afford to be late. You were in a frenzy, getting dressed quickly as you had almost overslept through all your alarms.
"You're making it hard for me to leave my bed." you smirked at Changbin, shaking your head slightly as you grabbed your bag.
"I'll see you later, cutie." you kissed his lips and practically skipped all the way to your car.
Was it pathetic that a doll made you feel this happy?, you thought. Maybe it did, but who cares, you weren't harming anyone plus it was a gift and you should be thankful for it.
As soon as you arrived to your office, one of your employees, Tina, smirked at you.
"Good morning, boss! Did you like our gift?" she asked and you blushed profusely immediately.
"I really did. Thank you." you said and she chuckled.
"If we land this deal, you promised to take some time off. I hope you still mean that." she said, walking with you. Everyone knew you barely took time off, they'd have to pry you off of your desk and force you to finally rest.
"When we land this deal. Not if." you smirked at her, saying hello to a few more other employees as you passed them by.
"Good morning!" Maxine greeted you cheerfully. "All the reports for the meeting are ready on your desk and I prepared the presentation room for you."
"Oh, always so fast." you chuckled.
"Just keeping up with you, boss." she winked, following you into the office. You left all your stuff there and quickly looked through the reports, having already studied them, this was going to be a piece of cake for you.
Where you were shy in your personal life, at work you were the complete opposite, your ambition and drive brought you to high places and you had no problem with biting hard and showing off your skills and knowledge.
There were at least twelve people in the room and you took a deep breath in as you stood in front of them. Maxine nodded at you with a thumbs up.
The presentation went smoothly and the partners were satisfied with your results and conclusions, the deal has been made.
"Congratulations, boss! Now you can take your vacation!" Maxine said and you laughed.
"Well, maybe I should stay a little bit more to-"
"No, no. You need some wildness in your life away from all the seriousness, suits and papers, hm?"
"Maxine is right. If anyone deserves this vacay, it's you." Tina agreed and you smiled.
"I hope you two know that I will be checking in all the time." you waved your finger and both of them laughed.
"Of course." Tina nodded and you took her to the office since she'd be taking your place while you're away. The rest of the day passed by fairly quickly, even with you staying longer as always. A zap of electricity ran through your body when you remembered someone was home, waiting for you and your undivided attention.
Changbin.
"Maxine, tell Tina I got all the reports ready for our new partners and if she needs anything she can call me any time. Same goes for you." you rushed out and she looked at you with her brows lifted.
"Of course. Have a good time on your vacay!" she said, chuckling because this was the first time you were leaving before her.
~
It was raining again when you ran into your building, forgetting to bring an umbrella so you used your bag as a shield from the water once more. The first thing you did after shucking your shoes off and throwing your bag aside was run to Changbin.
He was in the same position you left him, leaned on your headboard in your bed, tucked in with a blanket.
"Hey there." you smiled and grabbed his face, kissing his lips. You had missed him all day.
"We are going on a vacation." you nodded to him with a smile. You had to admit, you felt kinda excited to finally be away from work and your repetitive routine. You just wished Changbin would come to life and enjoy the break from every day stress with you.
Tumblr media
The next day, everything was prepared, the bag you packed was in the trunk, the tank was filled up and most importantly Changbin was in the passenger seat, strapped in and ready. You were going to drive over to your old house, where your parents used to take you for vacation when you were a kid. It was a bit out of town, a little house close to the lake. It used to be different before, there were more things to do there but you heard that some rich guy bought off most of the people who lived there so he could own the land.
Your little house was away from that area, perfectly in the middle of nowhere. Just what you needed to get your mind off of work. You got into the car and put on your favorite playlist before you started driving.
The tall city buildings soon turned into seemingly never-ending fields. You felt better instantly upon seeing the nature all around you. The sun was beating down on your car and you decided to open up the windows and let the air in as you drove and sang. Your eyes kept flitting towards Changbin, his pretty face and the way the wind kept playing with his hair. He looked so soft and sweet in those moments, making your good mood become even better.
Maybe someone would call you crazy for taking your sex doll to a vacation with you but he was more than that. You had a feeling he would be.
You drove for hours, it was almost dark when you finally parked in front of the old house. It was a little worn out since no one came out here anymore, especially after your father died due to illness and your mother had moved back to her hometown, taking care of your grandma. You visited them whenever you could but you were always swamped with work, you barely had time for yourself.
You put your bag inside first but getting Changbin in was a challenge that you somehow managed to conquer with all the strength you gathered.
"Oh my god." you huffed when you finally placed him on the sofa. "Ugh." you scrunched up your nose, realizing you have to do some cleaning up before anything else.
You got to work, cleaning up the place as you listened to some music and danced around, making the annoying chore more fun. Changbin watched you from the couch, a shadow passing over his eyes before they sparkled just for a moment. Of course, you didn't see it being too into your performance.
After cleaning up and filling up the fridge with some groceries you brought in a portable one, you decided to take a shower and change.
"Binnie, are you hungry?" you asked your sweet dolly and you could swear his eyes moved for a moment.
You tilted your head and stared him for a while, finally deciding you just imagined it.
"I guess you are." you chuckled and moved to the kitchen to prepare some dinner.
It was weird spending the afternoon cooking and sipping on wine, listening to music without a care in the world, knowing you don't have to go into work tomorrow. Or bring work to your house. Which reminded you to call Tina.
"You barely even left and you're worried already?" she chuckled.
"Just making sure everything is okay."
"Of course! I got everything under control." she assured you but you still wanted a recap, the perfectionist inside you craving to know that everything was indeed going well.
"Are you having fun though?" she asked after the report and you looked around the sparkly clean house, your eyes then landing on Changbin.
"Definitely." you said.
"Well, take care boss. We need you refreshed once you come back!"
"Of course. Have a good day, Tina."
"You too!"
You hung up and sat down to eat, looking up at Changbin a few times. After your meal you made your way to the couch, you couldn't wait to cuddle up to him.
"Let's see if there's any signal here." you muttered, turning the tv on. Luckily, the signal was good, even better than it used to be before, surprising you a little. You shrugged it off and put your legs in Changbin's lap, your head on his chest. Your own personal teddy bear.
The heat of his body and the relaxed state you were in slowly brought warmness in your navel, spreading throughout you and dripping on your panties. You bit on your lip and nuzzled into his neck, kissing his skin. Your hands started roaming his chest, the muscles you admired and liked so much. Your lips traveled on his skin and you stripped his shirt so you could continue leaving gentle kisses all over him. You unbuttoned his pants, pulling the zipper down and then sliding them off of him with his underwear.
The sight of Changbin's cock all hard and leaking for you made you salivate, your heart beating hard against your chest. You wanted to taste him, feel the weight of him on your tongue so you kneeled down between his legs, sticking your tongue out and licking a stripe along his length.
"Oh." you were deliciously shocked when you realized he tasted sweet. It spurred you on to continue and you wrapped your lips around him, sucking on his tip and tasting more of his pre-cum. You struggled taking all of him in as you slid down, wrapping your hand around the base.
You knew Changbin probably wouldn't cum this way, since your dolly loved hearing his name moaned out before climaxing so you were doing this more for your own fun and enjoyment, revelling in the way he twitched inside your hot mouth.
You bobbed your head up and down for a while, making yourself gag a few times when you pushed in too far, your panties getting progressively more soaked. You released him with a pop and leaned back to look at him.
"Need you, Binnie." you whimpered before stripping and sitting on his lap. You wished he would reciprocate, you yearned to be touched by him. Closing your eyes, you adjusted and grabbed his length, slowly pushing it in and sitting down on him until he bottomed out inside you.
You wrapped your arms around Changbin so you could be as close to him as you can before you started moving on him slowly, feeling every inch of him filling you up and stretching your pussy perfectly.
"Binnie." you moaned out as you fucked on him slowly, feeling him twitch inside you immediately.
"Whoops." you giggled and sped up, chasing your high that has been building up ever since the moment you tasted him. The tip of Changbin's cock kept brushing against your spot every time you smacked your hips down, making you whimper and clench around him.
"Changbin!" with a loud whimper of his name you came all around him, making him finish inside you as you rode your high and held onto him, your sensitive nipples brushing against him deliciously.
"I'll be right back." you said as you stood up.
You cleaned yourself and your doll before getting dressed. You only had him for a few days but you already felt like you couldn't live without him. He was giving you some sort of comfort that you haven't felt in a long time.
"I wish you could go on a walk with me now." you sighed after calming down a little and drinking some water. It was dark out and you weren't really comfortable with walking around the lake and in the forest completely alone so you decided it would be smarter to do that in the morning.
That night you cuddled up with Changbin again, feeling happy that you brought him with you.
~
Early in the morning, you already had your coffee and quick breakfast before checking in on Tina and Maxine. You couldn't help it even though you knew that all your employees were more than capable, it was you who hired them after all.
"I'll be back soon, Binnie." you kissed your dolly, tucking him in with a blanket and leaving the tv on for him.
You walked the familiar path from your house to the lake, knowing it like the back of your hand. It almost stayed the same as it was, the only difference is that it seemed more quiet, abandoned. A few of the nearby houses were almost completely fallen apart, the wood ruined by the rain and the wind. It made you a little sad to see a place once so lively devoid of everything.
That's when you noticed something peculiar, right as you started on your way towards the forest. It was all too quiet. It seemed like there was no insect, bird or any kind of animal nearby. Usually, there were ducks in the lake, you remembered feeding them with your parents and you also remember running away screaming from all sorts of insects when you were a kid.
"Hm." you mused out loud as you continued walking. It felt a little eerie, the hairs on the back of your neck standing.
Then you heard it, a humming sound. Your brows furrowed as you followed the sound cautiously.
You didn't expect to run into a huge fence built around a building you were sure wasn't there before, because there used to be multiple houses and a children's park there. You squinted your eyes, trying to see if there was someone there but all you saw were windows with bars on them and darkness on the inside.
Then you noticed a familiar logo on the side of the building.
"Where have I seen that?" you wondered out loud.
The humming stopped suddenly, making your eyes ring as you swallowed. Fear clawed up from your stomach to your throat and you turned on your heel, something inside you telling you to run.
You didn't stop running until you got to the house, bursting in loudly, closing and locking the door quickly. Your heart hammered wildly in your chest and your eyes landed on Changbin instantly.
Making your way to him fast, you crumbled into his arms. You tried to even out your breath and calm down, all the while asking yourself who bought all the land, why was there a fence, what was the humming sound, why was that logo familiar to you?
You decided to take a relaxing bath and make some yummy lunch to forget about the weirdness of your morning.
"Oh, Binnie I am so glad you're here. Without you I'd feel so lonely." you told your dolly while you cooked. His eyes moved until they were looking directly at you, his fingers twitching against the couch, but you didn't notice, concentrated on making the food.
You spent the rest of the day inside the house and cuddled up to Changbin again that night.
You slept well until your dreams were invaded by the humming sound from earlier and it seemed as if it was louder, closer, vibrating against your body. You were confused, still on the verge of sleep, eyes still closed as your body shook.
"W-what?" you croaked out, it was as if something was shaking you. Your eyes snapped open and you realized it was Changbin, he was... vibrating?
You reached for the lamp quickly, panic rushing through your veins when suddenly he took a desperate breath in, his head turning towards you.
You shrieked, backing away and falling off the bed.
"W-what the fuck?!" you backed away until you hit the wall.
"W-water. P-please." his voice sounded raspy and you gasped, standing up and staring at him. Was this supposed to happen? There was nothing about the dolls talking and needing water in the manual.
"Please." Changbin looked at you desperately and you nodded, running downstairs before coming back up with a water bottle.
"I'm sorry." he apologized as soon as he chugged the bottle down.
"F-for what?" you asked, standing on a distance.
"Scaring you. This humming noise. It makes me tickle on the inside. It itches, it woke me up." he explained.
"You can hear that?" you asked, coming a little closer to him.
"No, I can feel it." he said. "Don't be scared of me."
"I'm- I'm not, just confused." you let out a chuckle at the absurd situation. "The manual never said anything about you coming to life."
"The manual." Changbin scoffed.
"What?" you asked and he shook his head.
"I wish I could remember who made me and who wrote the manual." he answered as you sat on the bed.
"Do you remember anything?" you asked.
"My friends? They were with me before. I don't know where they are now, all I know is I miss them." he sighed.
"Are these your friends?" you asked as you pulled up the dolly site on your phone.
"Yes! That's them." Changbin leaned in to look at the pictures. "This one." he pointed to a doll named 'Chan'. "He was the first. He took care of us after something happened. I- I can't remember what happened, but I know it was painful."
"Ugh, the humming again!" Changbin jolted, hugging himself.
"Hey, hey, calm down. We can leave right away if it's bothering you this much, don't worry." you placed your hand on his arm, trying to calm him down.
"Really?" he looked at you with sweet pitiful eyes, making your heart melt.
"Of course." you nodded and stood up, grabbing your bag and packing up immediately.
"You took all of this with a very calm attitude." Changbin scratched his head.
"I'm used to crisis, it happens at work." you said, packing up quickly. "I wouldn't be where I am if I let my emotions interfere in situations like this."
"That's what I admire, you're so dedicated to your work." Changbin said, slowly standing up, his legs wobbling a little. You paused your movements and looked up at him.
"You were aware of everything happening since you came to me?" you asked and he nodded sheepishly.
"Oh." you gulped, your face warming up. Now, that was a situation that threw you off just a little.
"I, um, I'm hungry." Changbin said and you chuckled.
"There's food downstairs, you can heat it up and eat all of it while I get everything ready for us to leave."
"Thank you." he smiled.
"No need." you answered, still feeling a little embarrassed about the fact that he was aware of everything you did to him during the last few days.
You managed to grab all your things and pack them up, turning off everything right as Changbin finished eating.
"Let's go." you said and he stopped you before you opened the door.
"Are you sure it's safe to go out? It's the middle of the night." he noted.
"I think we'd be safer in the car than staying in here?" you said and he sighed.
"Okay then, let's leave."
As soon as you walked out, you could hear the humming noise more clearly as if it had gotten louder during the night.
"I can't take it." Changbin started scratching at his body again.
"Get in the car quickly."
Luckily, you had enough gas to last to the first gas station so you buckled up and hit the pedal, getting the hell away from that creepy place.
Changbin felt better the more distance you put between the car and the lake.
Tumblr media
A few days later, since you were still on your vacation, you were enjoying getting to know Changbin.
It was as if he was human and lived an entire life, even though he couldn't remember it at all. He could only put together bits and pieces, talking mostly about his friends and some disaster that happened, an awful feeling filling him up as he tried to remember more of it. All he could think of was Chan who tried to protect him and the other dolls. They were all alive then.
"Do you think they came to life too?" you asked that afternoon as the two of you cuddled, some movie playing in the background but you weren't paying attention to it.
"I would hope so. I wish we could find them." he sighed.
"Maybe we can. I could pull some connections."
"Really? You'd do that?" he smiled instantly, sitting up excitedly.
"Of course. Look, you probably heard me..." you grimaced but continued. "When I said I'm happy to have you, I was really lonely before and I was actually hoping you'd come to life."
"Does that mean I'm your boyfriend now?" Changbin giggled and you melted on the spot.
"Yes." you nodded and he pulled you into a bone crushing hug, making you squeal and chuckle.
You were sure he was made just for you.
~
Making your way from a refreshing shower, you didn't expect to be pinned to the wall by Changbin as soon as you walked into your room.
"B-Binnie!" you eyes widened, a zap of electricity running through your body instantly, making you feel aroused in the matter of milliseconds.
"I've wanted to do this from the moment I saw you." he said lowly, making you gulp as you stared into his darkened eyes. He was silently asking for your permission and you nodded ever so slightly, your heartbeart speeding up.
Changbin's lips quirked up in that cute smirk you adored on him, his hands sliding down your arms to the towel wrapped around your body. He undid the knot and let it fall to the floor, his eyes raking all over your exposed body.
You felt like your breath got caught in your throat when Changbin leaned in and pressed his lips on yours. Time stopped for a moment before he brought you back to earth with his hands on your chest, squeezing your breasts as he started moving his lips against yours. You parted your lips to let him in, he was sweet and hot at the same time, making your body yearn for his so you arched into him.
Smirking against your lips, Changbin let his hands travel lower, until they touched your thighs. You shivered as he kept kissing you, his fingertips ghosting on your inner thigh. Your moans were muffled against his lips and he kissed you harder before leaning back, letting his hand rest between your thighs as he touched your pussy.
"So wet for me." he smirked.
"B-Binnie, please." you whimpered.
"Please what, honey?" he kept smirking as you whined.
"I need to feel you." you whispered, your cheeks heating up.
"I need to feel you too." he couldn't really tease you for too long, the more he slid his fingers against your pussy, bringing the wetness up to your clit, the more it made him twitch in his pants.
You were overpowered by want and your hands flew to his shirt. It didn't take long for him to be as naked as you were. He was already hard and dripping, eager to bring you pleasure.
Changbin's arms gripped at the back of your thighs. "Jump." he smirked and you gasped, jumping up while he helped you, wrapping your legs around him. The tip of his cock rubbed against you, making you clench.
"H-here?" you whispered and he smiled.
"Why not?" Changbin whispered back and you held onto him tightly, your arms wrapped around his neck, fingertips grazing at his upper back.
"Okay." you whined as he pressed into you, his tip slipping between your folds.
"Mm, so good." he groaned, pushing in and you welcomed him, shaping around him perfectly as he bottomed out.
"Binnie." you moaned out, your nails digging into his skin.
"D-don't say my name yet." he gripped at your hips and you bit on your lip, trying to hold in your desperation. Changbin slowly started to move, his cock spreading your pussy apart deliciously.
"A-ah!" you whimpered as his tip brushed against your spot with each languid thrust. His lips found yours in a passionate kiss as you held onto him, trying to bring your hips closer to him.
"M-more." you whined.
"More?" he breathed out, his voice shaky. He was holding back.
"Please Binnie, fuck me harder, please!" you begged desperately, your pussy clenching around him and making him inhale sharply.
"As you wish, honey." he smirked a little before all hell broke loose when his hips started snapping into yours with vigor. He knocked the breath out of your lungs as you scratched at his skin, your entire body shaking from the force he fucked you with.
You couldn't help it, you were moaning so loudly, not even caring if your neighbors could hear you as Changbin kept fucking into you hard, the tip of his cock brushing against your spot every time he pushed in deep. You held onto him for dear life, you couldn't even feel your legs in that moment.
His little desperate moans filled up your ears, making you even more wet than before, adding to the high that was building up inside you.
"Are you gonna cum, honey?" he gripped your ass hard as he kept fucking you.
"Y-yes, gonna cum for you, Binnie!" you felt him twitch inside you and that was all you needed before you exploded, squirting on him and making him whine. His name kept spilling from your lips and his hips stuttered as he came, exploding inside you and filling you up.
"Wow." he breathed as he finally released you and you shook, holding onto him. Changbin lifted you up in his strong arms and placed your shivering body on the bed.
"I'll be right back, honey." he said and you nodded, still speechless.
Changbin came back to clean you up, bringing you a bottle of water.
"Did I hurt you?" he asked as you were silent.
"No, no, you were perfect Binnie." you smiled, reaching out to touch his face. "So good, that I'm just ready to sleep now." you added and he chuckled, puffing his chest out with pride.
You rolled your eyes playfully as your head hit the pillow and Changbin tucked you in much like you did to him, before he laid down next to you.
"Hey, y/n?" he whispered after a few moments of silence.
"Yes, Binnie?"
"I love you." he said and your heart skipped a beat. It was unbelieveable how quickly you came to love him too.
"I love you." you whispered back, kissing him before the two of you fell asleep in each other's arms.
Tumblr media
Your days with Changbin were passing by like a breeze, and pretty soon you were already back to work. All your employees noted that you're glowing and that you've never looked happier, thinking it was the break that did that when in fact it was love.
Changbin had also managed to pull you out of the house more, the two of you going to the gym and enjoying active dates and you couldn't remember the last time you had so much fun with someone, let alone a boyfriend. It's like he knew exactly what you needed, sometimes even before you knew it.
He loved watching you cook, a lovesick look in his eyes as he propped his face up on his palm and just observed you.
"It'd be nice if you helped." you smirked, breaking him out of his trance.
"Yes, in a moment." he smiled then, grabbing your hand and stopping whatever you were doing as he gently pulled it towards him, pressing his lips on the top of your hand. You chuckled, goosebumps littering your skin as he stood up. Changbin stood behind you, enveloping his arms around you, his hands covering yours.
"This is not helping." you giggled when his breath tickled your neck.
"No?" he smirked, pressing himself into you.
You knew you weren't going to cook that dinner any time soon.
You felt lucky to have him, but there was one problem. You had tried getting some information through your workplace, about all the other dolls but whoever had sent them to the buyers, erased every trace of where the dolls have been sent. You couldn't track any of them and Changbin couldn't remember anything, no matter how hard he tried.
You kept thinking about the lake house, the humming noise and the weird building, the eerie quietness of the entire forest. It made the hair on the back of you neck stand, shivers running down your spine.
You tried researching it on the internet but came up with nothing.
Then one day, there was a call.
"Hello?" you answered with an unsure voice, the unknown number throwing you off. Especially because the call was on your private phone and not many people had that number. If it was business or anything of that sort they'd call you on your work cell.
Changbin looked up from the clothes he was folding and you shrugged.
"Is this miss L/n?" a monotone male voice asked.
"Yes, this is she." you answered.
"I understand you have Changbin dolly."
"Ugh. Yes." you looked at Changbin with a frown, and he came closer to listen.
"Well, we're sorry to inform you but the dolls have all malfunctioned and will need to be taken back. The money will be returned." you wondered how they knew the doll was gifted to you and how they had your number.
"What do you mean by 'malfunctioned'?" you asked suspiciously as Changbin eyed you nervously.
"We cannot discuss such matters unless you are part of the staff." the monotone voice answered.
"The staff?" your brows furrowed in confusion.
"Please, don't defy our command. We will come pick up the doll. Goodbye."
Click.
"Hello?" you stood there confused as Changbin's eyes filled with fear.
"I- I don't wanna go back there!" he panicked suddenly, grabbing at you.
"Hey, it's okay! We will find a way for you to stay. I don't want them to take you away either." you pulled Changbin into a hug and he wrapped his arms around you, squeezing you a little.
"I feel this fear inside me, I don't know why. That voice-"
"Do you recognize it?" you asked and Changbin nodded.
"I do. But I can't remember who it is. There is like... different faces in my head all coming up at the same time." he pursed his lips in thought.
"Okay, we could drive up to my mother and grandma tomorrow?" you suggested.
"How are you going to explain me to them?"
"I'll just say you're my boyfriend, none of the doll talk, okay? We met at a gym or something." you said and Changbin chuckled, caressing your face.
"How convenient." he joked.
"Hey, it's believeable!" you defended and he giggled.
"Fine, fine, it is." he agreed as the cogs inside your brain already started turning.
You had to plan out how to avoid work because you haven't told your coworkers anything about the doll they gifted you coming to life.
You just hoped you could get Changbin safely out of here.
Tumblr media
Early in the morning you were already packing together with Changbin but a ring on your doorbell stopped you dead in your tracks.
"Who's here at 6:30am?" you frowned, walking towards the door.
After opening it and unlocking the door, Changbin trailing behind you, you gasped in shock. There were six men in suits standing on your doorway.
"We came to collect the doll." one of them said.
"You can't!" you yelled.
"Why?" the man asked.
"He is alive, he has free will and he doesn't want to go with you! Now leave, before I sue your entire company!" you tried threatening them but they just exchanged silent looks.
"Step aside. We are going to collect the doll."
"Over my dead body." you got angry but Changbin quickly interfered.
"Y/n, please be careful." he begged as the men stepped inside and you launched your body aside, grabbing the baseball bat you kept near the door.
Changbin gasped as they grabbed him, no matter how strong he was they somehow seemed stronger. He looked up and saw you swinging the bat at one of them men, his eyes wide.
The bat collided with one of the suited men's face, fear rushing through your veins when a piece of his skin came flying off, revealing wires beneath the facade of a human face.
You shrieked, stepping back and the man looked at you before pulling out a huge syringe and walking towards Changbin.
"Stop it! No!" you screamed but the other men grabbed you, throwing the bat aside and holding you back as you thrashed around, trying to escape their hold.
The syringe was plunged into Changbin's neck and he immediately slumped down. You kept yelling at them but they dragged him away, slamming your own door in your face.
You had no idea what to do in that moment. Your body slid down on the floor as you sobbed. They took away Changbin from you, the man who loves you. Anger bubbled up inside you and then you remembered.
Property of BIMT.
You scrambled to stand up and ran to your laptop, quickly typing it in.
"The logo!" you gasped, remembering the building near the house lake. You knew the exact location they'd take Changbin.
"Bang Institute of Modern Technology? Ugh, as in Helena Bang the famous scientist?" you clicked on the page.
You skimmed through the article, finding out that Helena had died five years ago from a mysterious illness, all her research and work falling into the hands of a rich man whose name was doctor Park.
"I'm coming to get you Binnie, don't you worry."
~
In his room, Felix heard commotion outside of the door. He rushed to it, his palms pressed against the cold metal as he peeped through the slit.
A few of the suited men were carrying Changbin towards another room, opposite of Felix's.
"Changbin! Changbin, can you hear me?!" Felix yelled desperately and one of them turned towards the sound, lifting his fist and pounding loudly against Felix's door, scaring him.
"Be quiet, number six!" the man yelled. Felix backed away with tears gathering in his eyes.
What will they do to them now?

When you fall asleep on their shoulder - skz hyung line
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Genre: Fluff | Comfort | Slice of Life
Warning: Extreme softness, physical touch (shoulder leaning), light romantic/platonic interpretation
Tumblr media
Bang Chan
It was one of those quiet evenings, rain tapping on the windows, a soft playlist humming through the speakers, and the two of you curled up on the couch. You were leaning slightly against him, wrapped in a fuzzy blanket, eyes growing heavier by the minute.
Chan noticed the way your head began to slowly drift, eventually resting against his shoulder.
He paused the show you were watching and turned his head to look at you, a soft smile forming. “Fell asleep on me again, huh?” he murmured.
Carefully, he shifted so you could lie more comfortably, his arm gently wrapping around your back.
“You’ve been running around all week... you must be exhausted.” He brushed a loose strand of hair from your face, his voice low and warm. “Don’t worry about anything. I’ll be right here when you wake up.”
Chan leaned his cheek against your head, the rhythm of your breathing syncing with his heartbeat. It wasn’t just the warmth of your body against him—it was the trust. And that meant everything to him.
Lee Know
You had both just finished a late dinner, and now you were sprawled out on the couch, the soft hum of the ceiling fan lulling you both into a sense of calm.
You were talking about something random, probably your favourite snacks, when your words slowly began to trail off. Lee Know turned his head, expecting you to finish your sentence.
Instead, he saw your head resting gently on his shoulder, eyes closed, breath even.
“Tch,” he muttered with a tiny smirk. “Did you seriously fall asleep mid-sentence?”
He glanced around, debating if he should wake you or let you rest. In the end, he sighed and pulled the blanket off the back of the couch to drape it over you.
“Fine. But if you drool on me, I’m telling everyone.”
Still, his tone softened as he looked down at your peaceful face.
“You trust me this much, huh?” he whispered. “You really shouldn’t do that to my heart.”
He leaned his head back, letting the moment wrap around him. And just like that, all his sarcasm melted into quiet affection.
Changbin
You were hanging out in his room, him working on a beat, and you scrolling on your phone beside him. You were lying on your stomach, watching him tweak a few things on his laptop when he noticed the silence.
Turning to check on you, he found your head slumped gently to the side, resting against his upper arm, your phone still unlocked in your hand.
He blinked. “Wait... are you asleep?”
Carefully, Changbin took the phone from your hand and set it on the desk, then adjusted your head so you could rest on his shoulder more comfortably.
“Seriously,” he chuckled under his breath, heart fluttering, “you just knock out wherever you want, huh?”
He paused his music work and instead leaned his head slightly against yours, closing his eyes too.
“You make me want to protect you. Like... all the time,” he whispered, his voice a low rumble. “So stay here a while, okay?”
Hyunjin
You had spent the day at a museum together, and by the time you were back at his place, exhaustion had clearly set in. You sat on the floor together, backs against the bed, flipping through photos on his camera when you slowly started leaning into his side.
He glanced down when he felt your weight against him, and then again when you didn’t move.
“Y/N?” he whispered, but you were already out cold, soft snores just barely audible.
He didn’t move.
His lips curled into the softest smile. “You really fell asleep like this... next to me?” he murmured, brushing his thumb across the back of your hand.
He stayed completely still for several minutes, watching the rise and fall of your chest.
“You look like a painting right now... all peaceful and quiet,” he whispered, his voice barely audible. “I wish I could capture this forever.”
Carefully, he reached for his sketchbook with his free hand, determined to draw you just like this.

Here’s a Stray Kids reaction to you getting cheated on by the guy they always knew was wrong for you—and how each of them reacts knowing they’ve been quietly in love with you since you were kids.
🐺 Bang Chan
He doesn’t even let you finish the sentence before he’s pulling you into his arms.
“You deserve so much more than someone who treats you like that.”
He holds you tighter when your voice breaks, jaw clenched like he’s trying not to say I told you so. But it’s in his eyes—he knew. And it killed him watching you get hurt.
He stays with you all night. Doesn’t leave.
At one point, you catch him staring, quiet and soft.
“I would’ve treated you right. From the start.”
🐰 Lee Know
His reaction is sharp, instant.
“I knew that guy was trash.”
It comes out harsher than intended, but he’s furious—not at you, never you—just at the idiot who hurt you.
He sits beside you in silence for a moment before muttering,
“I should’ve said something. Should’ve told you he didn’t deserve you. But I didn’t want to seem jealous…”
Then, almost too quiet:
“…even though I was.”
🐷 Changbin
Changbin tries to keep it together. He’s pacing, fists clenched, muttering curses under his breath about how he’d throw hands if he ever saw your ex again.
But when he sees you wipe a tear away, all that fire melts into guilt.
“I let you fall for someone I knew would hurt you. I should’ve protected you.”
He pulls you into a hug, forehead pressed to yours.
“I’ve loved you since we were kids. I just wanted you to be happy… but not like this. Not at this cost.”
🥟 Hyunjin
He’s quiet at first. Too quiet.
He listens, lets you cry, lets you vent—and when you ask why he hasn’t said anything, he looks at you with glassy eyes and says,
“Because if I open my mouth, I’ll say something I’ve kept in too long.”
You ask what that is.
He leans forward just slightly.
“That I would’ve worshipped you if you’d let me. Not played you like a fool.”
🐿 Han (Jisung)
Jisung tries to joke it off at first.
“Welp. Knew that guy was suspicious from the second he said he didn’t like Studio Ghibli.”
But then your expression cracks—and so does he.
He sits beside you, shoulders slumped.
“I was always too scared to tell you how I felt. Afraid you’d choose someone else… and you did.”
He laughs bitterly.
“And I let it happen.”
Then softer:
“But I never stopped wanting to be the one you chose.”
🐥 Felix
Felix’s reaction is all heart.
He pulls you into a hug the moment he sees you crying. No questions. No hesitation.
“He doesn’t deserve your tears. He never did.”
His voice is a whisper, like he’s scared you’ll break. He rubs slow circles into your back, letting you fall apart in his arms.
And when you finally calm down, he brushes hair from your face and says:
“You could’ve had someone who’s loved you since the sandbox.”
“Someone who’d never make you feel second.”
🐶 Seungmin
Seungmin is bitter. Blunt. But honest.
“We all saw it coming. But you were in love… and we didn’t want to ruin that for you.”
He’s not trying to be cruel—he’s just hurt for you. For the version of you that trusted someone who didn’t deserve it.
Then, more softly:
“You always deserved someone who sees the world in you.”
You glance at him.
He meets your gaze and adds, without breaking eye contact:
“Someone like me.”
🦊 I.N (Jeongin)
Jeongin is surprisingly quiet, surprisingly grown.
He brings you tissues, a blanket, your favorite snack—no jokes, no distractions. Just steady presence.
“I didn’t say anything ‘cause I thought… maybe you’d be happier not knowing how I felt.”
“But I was wrong.”
He sits next to you, shoulders barely brushing.
“I should’ve told you you were enough. Always. Even without him.”
Then quietly:
“But if you let me… I’ll remind you every day.”

Waking Up Next to Your Boyfriend
-Hyung Line x Reader -
Maknae line here
Genre: Fluff, Headcanon (too sweet)
Warnings: None
---------------------------------------
Bangchan:
Tumblr media
• He has trouble sleeping, so when he finally does, he’s completely out. A sleepy koala .
• He’s always the big spoon.
• He unconsciously throws a leg over you and pulls you close with his arm whenever you move.
• When you check the time, you turn off anything that might make noise and go back to sleep, hoping he takes his time waking up so he can rest.
• Considering you woke up with Chan's fluffy hair and his pajama is basically no pajama, it's totally understandable that you didn't want it to end.
• When he finally opens his eyes and sees the time, he flinches a little. It’s late (well, actually, it’s early, but Mr. Workaholic doesn’t see it that way).
• But when he sees you, his heart skips a beat. You look so comfortable next to him.
• He doesn’t resist (not that he even tries) and showers your neck and jaw with kisses, whispering a deep, raspy "Good morning."
• You’re so asleep you barely understand what he’s saying. It’s honestly way too early for your brain to function properly.
• You manage to kiss his cheek just as he’s getting up to leave for work :(( .
• You know he’ll make it up to you with all the cuddles when he comes back.
• In the meantime, you bury your nose in the spot he left on the bed, inhaling that Chan scent.
---
Lee Know:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
• At this point, the bed feels way too small.
• Minho is lying down, and you’re lying on top of him, your head resting on his chest. His arms wrap around your back and waist, his chin resting on your head. You’re practically fused together.
• Soongie is curled up on your back, purring contentedly.
• Doongie is sprawled out at Minho’s feet, belly up, deep asleep.
• Meanwhile, Dori is wide awake, tail flicking as he plots his next move. Suddenly, he pounces—straight onto your head—trying to catch Minho’s nose, waking both of you up in shock.
• You laugh in confusion while Minho just lazily drapes an arm over Dori, trying to keep him still, then drifts back to sleep.
• When you finally grab your phone to check the time, you’re surprised by how late it is and try to get up. But before you can leave the bed, Minho grabs your arm and pulls you back in.
"Just a little longer," he mumbles without even opening his eyes.
"Babe, I have to make breakfast," you say, completely mesmerized by how soft and relaxed his profile looks.
"If you stay five more minutes, I’ll help you make it," he says with a lazy smile. He knows he’s won—who would say no to a breakfast made by him?
• Those five minutes turn into a sleepy make-out session. You kiss his nose, jaw, forehead, chin, cheeks, the corners of his lips—before finally pressing small kisses on his lips.
• When his children (the cats) start getting fussy because they also want breakfast, you both have no choice but to get up.
• In the end, he ends up making the whole breakfast while you feed the cats.
---
Changbin:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
• He’s a soft, fluffy ball of curls—the cutest and coziest thing you’ll ever see.
• He’s asleep on your chest, his hand resting against your ribs, securing his spot.
• He won’t say it, but he loves sleeping like this because the sound of your heartbeat soothes him. It’s his favorite lullaby.
• Your hand never stops running through his hair. If you stop, he’ll probably let out a grumpy little growl in protest.
• When it’s time to wake up, he clings to you even tighter, mumbling in a pouty tone, "Just a little longer..."
• He doesn’t give you a choice. Every time you try to move, he buries his face deeper into your chest and tightens his grip around your side.
• After a while, your hand drifts down to his face, replacing the hair-stroking with soft caresses on his cheeks. You’re definitely trying to get something.
• "Binnie, baby . We have to get up for breakfast," you whisper sweetly.
• He lets out another grumpy groan, and just as he’s about to complain, his stomach growls in sync.
• Maybe breakfast doesn’t sound like such a bad idea after all...
---
Hyunjin:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
• He’s a mess.
• He’s completely sprawled out—one arm stretched above his head, the other tangled in your hair. His wrist is probably numb by now.
• One knee is bent in one direction, the other leg is draped over yours.
• He sleeps with his mouth slightly open and changes position every ten minutes.
• First, he turns and clings to you like a koala. Then he buries his face in your neck. Then he rolls over and gives you his back. But he misses you, so he wraps himself around you again.
• He’s a beautiful disaster.
• When he cracks one eye open to check the time, he realizes it’s late but just shuts his phone off and decides to go back to sleep. (He’s not lazy, he’s just way too comfortable.)
• Before drifting off again, he stares at you, completely captivated—memorizing every detail, every little movement you make in your sleep. He’s definitely going to draw you later.
• But his intense gaze wakes you up.
• His eyes widen, and he immediately whines, "No, no, no. Go back to sleep. We’re still sleeping."
• Like a spoiled kid, he pouts, pushing his bottom lip out. When you insist it’s late, he sulks even more.
"You just want to go to work because you don’t want to stay with me. You’re heartless."
• In the end, the drama queen makes an appearance, as always.
• Somehow, you manage to wiggle out of his hold.
• When you return with his iced coffee and he sees you getting ready for your shower, reality finally hits him.
• Grumpily, he drags himself out of bed, accepting that responsibilities exist.

The lights in the reception hall glow like soft stars, strung overhead in warm arcs that blur against the laughter and sparkle of champagne flutes. You're holding Changbin’s hand under the table, tracing slow circles on his palm while he listens to the groom's brother make an overly long, questionably sober speech.
You’re not really listening. Neither is Changbin, not fully.
He leans in close, murmuring in your ear, “If he starts crying again I’m going to cry, too. Out of secondhand embarrassment.”
You snort quietly. “You’re such a hater.”
He grins, cheek pressed against yours. “He used a metaphor about steering ships in storms for love. That’s a hate crime.”
You bite your lip to hold back your laugh, but it bubbles up anyway, full and bright, and he looks so pleased with himself for making you laugh like that, you can’t help but lean into him more. It's been like this all evening, stolen moments, shared glances, inside jokes spoken in half-whispers. The rest of the room blurs. You’re here together, like always.
Dating Changbin has always felt a little bit like that: like finding the eye of the storm and deciding to live there. He’s loud and chaotic and funny in every possible way, but with you, he’s soft. Constant. Safe.
So when the bride stands up and shouts, “Alright! Bouquet toss, let’s go!” you don’t think anything of it.
Until your best friend, the bride marches across the dance floor, grabs you by the wrist, and yanks you up from your seat like a woman on a mission.
You blink, startled. “Wait, what are you—”
She grins at Changbin across the table. “Borrowing her for a sec!”
You shoot him a panicked look, but he just raises an eyebrow, clearly amused. He lifts his wine glass toward you like he’s toasting your sudden kidnapping.
Your friend doesn’t even slow down. “You’re coming up front,” she says, pulling you toward the growing crowd of women forming a semi-circle behind her.
“I’m not catching that thing,” you protest, laughing nervously. “That’s not—seriously, I don’t need—”
“Oh shut up, it’s tradition,” she says, spinning to face you. “And besides, it’ll be funny. Just pretend to try.”
You freeze. “Funny?”
She gives you a pointed look. “You’ve been dating Changbin for 3 years. You think people aren’t already talking?”
Your stomach does something tight and wild. “That’s not—what does that have to do with anything?”
She shrugs, devilish. “Nothing. But imagine the look on his face if you caught it.”
You don’t know what to say to that. You know she’s teasing. Sort of. But it touches a nerve you didn’t expect to feel so exposed tonight.
You step into the circle of bouquet-hopefuls, half-laughing and half-nauseous. The bride turns her back, bouquet in hand, hyping up the crowd as someone starts a drumroll on the back of a chair.
You haven’t really talked about forever with Changbin. Not directly. There’s a rhythm to your relationship, steady, cozy, full of little rituals. Friday takeout. Sunday mornings spent making pancakes and fighting over what music to play. You say I love you like it’s breathing. You’ve built a world together.
But neither of you has dared crack that door open further. Not yet.
And across the room, you see him.
Changbin.
He’s now watching from the side of the dance floor with his jacket off, sleeves rolled up, hands in his pockets, dangerously attractive in that effortless way he always is when he’s not thinking about how good he looks.
“Alright, ladies! On three!” your best friend shouts, her back to you all, bouquet held high like a trophy.
“One!”
A wave of tension.
“Two!”
A few people crouch, arms ready.
“THREE!”
The bouquet flies into the air and you don’t move. You take a literal step back.
And it still lands in your hands.
It’s a perfect catch. Unintentional. A total accident.
Everyone screams.
You stare down at the bouquet in your hands like it personally betrayed you.
“Oh my god!” someone shrieks. “She caught it!”
Laughter erupts. A few of the other girls groan dramatically, one pretending to faint. There’s a chorus of oohs and claps and joking shouts about wedding bells, and you just stand there, frozen, cheeks flushed, bouquet clutched against your chest.
You don’t know what to do with your hands. You don’t know what to do with your face.
And then you look up and your eyes find Changbin.
He’s still standing on the edge of the dance floor.
Still staring at you.
But he’s not laughing.
His expression isn’t teasing, or smug, or even surprised.
He’s just… looking at you. Quietly. Like he’s seeing something he didn’t expect. Something that hit him harder than he thought it would.
And it’s not panic in his eyes.
It’s not even fear.
It’s something else.
Wonder, maybe.
A little awe.
And something warm.
Someone elbows him. and Changbin finally blinks like he’s just remembered how to move, laughing as he gets shoved from behind teasingly.
You feel like you’re burning. You hold the bouquet like it’s about to detonate and wave off the attention as best you can, ducking out of the circle, finding a quiet edge of the reception hall where people are more distracted with cake than your accidental brush with fate.
You’re halfway through convincing yourself that this doesn’t mean anything you’re dating, yes, but that doesn’t mean a flying bouquet from your best friend should cause this much emotional static, when you hear footsteps behind you.
You don’t turn around.
You don’t have to.
“You ran away,” Changbin says softly, just behind your shoulder.
You glance back at him. “I panicked.”
He smiles. “You looked cute.”
You roll your eyes, but your face is warm. “I looked like I caught something I wasn’t supposed to.”
He takes another step closer. You can feel the heat from his body even before he touches you, but then his hand grazes the small of your back just enough to ground you.
He looks down at the bouquet still in your hands. “You didn’t even try to catch it.”
“I know.”
“And yet…”
You raise an eyebrow. “I’m telling you, it just flew at me.”
He grins. Then he goes quiet.
And for a few seconds, neither of you says anything.
You look down at the bouquet. It's a little frayed now from the fall, one flower slightly squished, the ribbon twisted, but still beautiful. Classic. Soft.
You don't realize you're fidgeting with it until he gently covers your hands with his.
“Hey,” he says, voice quieter now. “Can I tell you something weird?”
You glance up. “Since when do you ask first?”
That earns a small, lopsided smile. But he’s serious underneath.
“I liked it,” he says.
Your breath stutters. “Liked what?”
He nods toward the bouquet. “The sight of you. Holding that.”
You blink. The world slows.
He doesn’t look away. “I wasn’t expecting it. But it did something to me.”
You swallow. “Like… gave you a heart attack?”
“No.” He laughs softly, then shakes his head. “More like… it made something real.”
You’re not breathing.
He continues, gently, “I didn’t know I’d react like that. But when I saw you with it, it wasn’t like, ‘Oh no, we have to get married now.’” He meets your eyes. “It was more like… ‘Yeah. I’d be lucky as hell if someday, it was you.’”
Your heart cracks open like lightning down the middle of your chest.
Changbin keeps talking, like the words have been sitting heavy on his tongue for a while now, waiting for a moment to spill out.
“I think part of me’s been afraid to say anything because… what we have right now is so good. So easy. And I didn’t want to scare you. Or jinx it. Or make it heavier than it needs to be.”
You grip the bouquet tighter.
“But,” he adds, “seeing you with that stupid bundle of flowers made me realize… I do think about it. Not in some rushed way. Just… in the way you do when you’re really happy. When you can see it. A future. Not in sharp detail. Just… in feelings.”
He smiles, shy and small. “I liked how it looked on you. That kind of future.”
You’re quiet for a moment. The music in the background fades to a slow, romantic hum, barely a heartbeat above silence.
Then you whisper, “You didn’t scare me.”
He blinks. “No?”
You shake your head. “You kind of… undid me. But not scared.”
He exhales, relief warm on your cheek. You lean your forehead against his shoulder, bouquet still clutched between you.
After a moment, you add, “You’re right. It’s not rushed. It’s not even about marriage right now. It’s just… knowing we’re headed somewhere. Together.”
He wraps his arms around you. “Yeah. That.”
You let yourself melt into him, into the warmth, the scent of his cologne, the familiar way he holds you like you fit just right. People move around you. Music drifts. The night keeps going.
But here, right here, it’s still.
-
The reception has faded into the cozy kind of chaos that only happens after midnight. A few people are still dancing barefoot on the floor, someone’s passed out on a couch with a dessert plate balanced on their chest, and the DJ’s resorted to a late-night playlist of slow R&B and guilty pleasure pop.
You and Changbin have retreated outside, away from the buzz, onto a little stone terrace strung with fairy lights. The air’s cool, crisp, the kind that makes your skin hum after being warm all evening. You’re sitting on a bench, legs tucked under you, shoes long since abandoned. Changbin’s next to you, shoulder brushing yours, both of you wrapped in a silence that’s thick but comfortable.
He’s still holding the bouquet.
You had tried to joke about it earlier “You can’t just steal bridal flowers, you’re going to get cursed.” but he just smiled and kept it tucked under his arm like it belonged to him.
Now, he glances over at you and bumps your knee with his.
“You okay?” he asks again, voice soft. The fifth time tonight.
You smile, resting your cheek against the top of the bench. “I’m good.”
“Tired?”
“Happy.”
He hums. “Good.”
There’s a pause, and then, because your heart’s been fluttering all night and you want to make sure you didn’t imagine all of it, you say, “You meant what you said earlier? About… liking the way I looked? Holding it?”
He turns to you, eyes searching your face. “Yeah. I meant it.”
You shift to face him more fully, pulling your knees up, hoodie sleeves covering your hands. “I liked it too.”
He blinks. “You liked how you looked?”
You shake your head. “No. I liked what it made me feel.”
His eyebrows lift, just a little. “What’d it make you feel?”
You let out a breath, soft and real. “Like we were further along in life than we are. Like… I’d already walked down the aisle and you were waiting. And I wasn’t scared. I was just… calm.”
He goes still, gaze flicking to your mouth, your eyes, then back down to the bouquet in his lap. “That’s exactly how it felt for me,” he says. “Like something snapped into place in my brain and went, ‘Oh. So that’s what it looks like. That’s what it feels like.’”
He’s quiet for a second, thoughtful. “I’ve never felt that before. Not in a way that felt… safe.”
You reach over and take his hand in yours. His thumb immediately starts rubbing lazy circles across your palm.
The silence stretches. The air is cooler now, wind brushing against your skin, but you don’t shiver. His presence is warm enough.
Then, quietly, he adds, “I think part of me’s always felt like I had to earn the right to want something like that. Like I had to become something more before I was allowed to dream that big.”
You look at him. “You don’t have to earn love, Binnie.”
He doesn’t look at you right away. “I know. But… wanting forever with someone? That’s a big want. And you—” He swallows. “You’re the kind of person people imagine forever with. I’ve known that since the first time you stayed the night and stole all the covers.”
You blink. Your throat’s tight. “You really think that about me?”
He nods. “Yeah. And tonight just… confirmed it.”
You lean your head on his shoulder, heart full and aching in the best way. “It’s not just you. I’ve thought about it too. Quietly. In the back of my mind. I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to ruin what we have now.”
He shifts to kiss the top of your head. “You wouldn’t ruin anything. Even if we’re not ready this second, it’s still… something we can want. Together.”
You smile. “You sound like a Hallmark card.”
“I’m trying to be vulnerable,” he groans, playfully dramatic.
“I like it,” you giggle, tugging his hand. “Keep going.”
He glances down at the bouquet again. “Alright. Here's my Hallmark moment. You know what I liked most about seeing you holding this?”
“What?”
He turns toward you, completely, one hand still in yours, the other resting against your cheek. “It didn’t feel like a hint. Or pressure. Or even a milestone. It just looked… right. Like watching someone pick up their coffee mug in the morning. Familiar. Easy.”
Your chest caves in a little at that. The simplicity. The truth of it.
You whisper, “I don’t think anyone’s ever made me feel that known before.”
He leans forward until his forehead rests against yours. “I want to know all of it. What forever looks like. With you.”
You kiss him, soft and slow and sweet because it’s too much, and not enough, and exactly what needs to happen.
When you pull back, he’s smiling. “So… can we keep the bouquet?”
You laugh. “It’s literally in your lap. You already claimed it.”
“I’m just saying,” he says, faux-casual, “we could dry it. Hang it upside down, press some petals. Make a whole thing of it. You know. A symbolic memory.”
You look at him, amused. “And when people ask why you have a dried bouquet on your bookshelf?”
“I’ll say it’s the first time I saw the future.”
You groan. “Now you’re the one being cheesy.”
“I’m romantic, babe,” he says, leaning back with a smug little grin. “Get it right.”
You roll your eyes. But you don’t let go of his hand.
-
You're both quiet on the ride home.
Not awkward quiet. Loaded quiet.
Changbin's hand is on your thigh the whole drive, thumb rubbing slow, hypnotic circles into your skin through the slit of your dress. His jaw is tight. Focused. But every red light makes his hand climb higher.
You feel like you're sitting on a secret.
Not just the teasing from the wedding, or the looks he gave you across the dance floor.
It's something heavier.
He liked the sight of you holding it.
He said that. And he meant it.
You don't say much once you're inside your apartment.
Shoes fall off at the door. The bouquet, still in your hand, gets set gently on the kitchen counter, like a piece of the night you're not ready to let go of yet.
He watches you from the doorway.
One hand in his pocket. Shirt half-untucked. Tie loose around his neck, just like it was when he gave you that look across the dance floor-the one that said I'm thinking things I shouldn't say in front of your friends.
You meet his eyes.
He's not smirking.
He's watching.
Like he's memorizing something.
And when you finally speak, it's just above a whisper.
"You've been quiet.”
He shrugs once, smile soft. "I'm thinking."
You step closer. "About what?"
"You."
The way he says it, it stops you.
"I keep thinking about how you looked," he continues.
"In that dress. Holding that bouquet like it wasn't meant for anyone else."
You look down, suddenly shy. "It was just a silly tradition."
"Maybe." He steps in. "But it didn't feel silly."
His fingers brush your arm, barely there. You feel it everywhere.
"It felt..." He hesitates, then settles on, "Right."
You swallow. The air between you buzzes with electricity.
And then, gently, he reaches for the zipper of your dress.
"Can I?"
You nod.
He doesn't tug. He lowers it slowly, carefully, like he's unwrapping something fragile. His fingers trail down your spine as the fabric loosens, and your body warms under his touch, your chest rising and falling in anticipation.
When he finally slips the dress from your shoulders, it pools at your feet.
You don't move.
You just watch him.
His eyes linger, not with lust, but with reverence.
As if he's trying to commit this moment to memory, not just the sight of your skin, but the softness in your face. The trust.
He exhales through his nose. "You're so beautiful."
You reach for his shirt, undoing the buttons slowly. One by one. Your fingers are shaking, but not from nerves.
From want.
From feeling too much all at once.
When his shirt hits the floor, you let your hands wander over his chest, his stomach, the curve of his waist. He shivers under your touch, but doesn't stop you.
He just murmurs, "Come here."
You fall into him like gravity.
His arms wrap around your bare back, and your mouth finds his with aching softness. The kiss is warm. Slow.
His lips part against yours like they've been waiting all night, and you sigh into him, deepening it naturally.
There's no rush.
No fumbling.
Just heat.
The kind that builds under your skin, steady and pulsing.
His hands explore like he's memorizing every dip and curve. Yours drag up his arms, into his hair, pulling him closer as your bodies press together, skin to skin, mouths moving in rhythm.
And all the while, you feel it: The undercurrent.
That electric, emotional weight between you-the unspoken I want yous, the quiet I love yous, the possibility of forever that neither of you is pretending not to feel anymore.
He kisses you like he's telling the truth with every breath.
He lifts you slowly, carries you to the bedroom, lays you down with a kind of reverence that makes your heart ache. His eyes never leave yours. Even as the last layers come off. Even as he slides in close, breath trembling, voice wrecked.
"This feels different," he whispers.
You nod. "It is different."
And it is.
It's not just sex tonight.
It's you and him, completely open. Stripped bare, not just in body but in everything that matters.
Your hands exploring. Your mouths rediscovering.
Your hearts steady beneath each touch.
It's slow.
And deep.
And full.
He moves inside you with care, with purpose. No rush.
No frantic pace. Just rhythm and breath and the overwhelming closeness of someone choosing you, again and again, in every slow thrust, every whispered word, every desperate kiss between moans.
You hold onto him like he's the only thing tethering you to the earth.
And when you both finally break-together, trembling and breathless, it's quiet. A sharp inhale. A soft cry. His forehead pressed to yours.
And after, he doesn't move.
He just stays wrapped around you, tangled in sheets and warmth, one hand stroking slow lines down your spine.
"You looked like the future tonight," he says softly.
You smile, cheek pressed to his shoulder. "You made it feel real."
It's late.
The room is still. But neither of you sleeps.
Because tonight is about something else entirely.
It's about wanting each other.
Not just physically, but in every single way that matters.
And neither of you is holding back anymore.

▦ ﹒ ☆ CALLING THEM BY THIER REAL NAME ⸒ 별 ꜝ ﹫
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
享受 ! .°. ݁₊ 𐙚 gn!reader, cw: pet names, fluff, nothing much not proofread :P
Tumblr media
CHAN
Pet name norm: Normally you call him everything but "Christopher" baby, babe, Channie, cuddlekoala™. he’s used to being absolutely babied. So the first time you go, “Christopher, can you pass me the remote?” His entire system reboots. He blinks at you like you just called him “Mr. Bang” in a courtroom. “Christopher…?” he repeats, slowly, suspiciously. “Are you mad at me? Did I forget an anniversary? Did I leave the fridge open again? Be honest.” 100% thinks he’s in trouble. Starts checking his calendar for any missed events, already texting Jisung like “DID I MESS UP BRO.” You’re just chilling, eating chips. “No? I just felt like it.” He softens like a microwaved marshmallow. “Oh. Okay. Just checking. But also… never do that again.” Gets dramatic: “Calling me Christopher feels like you’re about to divorce me and take the kids I don’t have.” Then pouts for 30 minutes until you call him “baby” again. Suddenly his tail is wagging. “THERE we go.” Lowkey likes it, though. Won’t admit it, but the next time you call him “Christopher” by accident, he gets a little blushy. Bonus: will use it against you if he’s being sulky. “Fine. I guess Christopher isn’t worthy of cuddles tonight.” You: “…what is wrong with you.”
MINHO
Normally, you call him things like: “babe,” “honey,” “min-min,” “grumpy cat,” or something chaotic like “my little menace.” So when you suddenly go, “Minho, can you help me with this?” He freezes. Turns to you slowly, squints. “Who’s Minho. Never met him.” Immediately acts like you just signed his death certificate. “Are we breaking up? Just tell me. I can take it.” (He cannot take it.) “Minho?” he repeats, mock-offended. “What’s next, you calling me Mr. Lee?” You: “I just… felt like using your real name?” Minho: “Well I just felt like dying a little inside.” Tries to act cool and unaffected, but he’s so dramatic behind the scenes. Lays facedown on the couch like a Victorian wife who just heard her husband say “We’re out of tea.” “You’ve been watching dramas again, haven’t you? That’s what this is. You're turning on me. Betrayal. Treachery. This is my villain origin arc.” The next day, calls you by your full government name just to “restore balance.” “Sure, [Full Name], I’ll take out the trash.” Eventually admits (grudgingly, while cuddling you under a blanket burrito) that hearing his real name from you is kinda… cute. “Just don’t make it a habit. I’m used to you being annoying and clingy.” Five minutes later, you whisper “Minho” again. Him, whispering back: “That’s it. We’re fighting. Pillow war. No survivors.”
CHANGBIN
Usually you call him stuff like “binnie,” “baby,” “cutie buff guy,” or something feral like “my gym rat prince.” So when you casually go, “Seo Changbin, can you hand me the charger?” He physically flinches. “What did you just say?” He’s staring at you like you just called him a disappointment in front of his mom. Instantly thinks he’s in trouble. “Wait wait wait, did I do something? Did I breathe wrong? Are you about to lecture me?” You: “No? I just said your name?” Changbin: “My government name?? In this house??” Dramatically clutches his chest. “You only call me Seo Changbin when you’re mad, confessing to a murder, or turning into a villain.” Starts spiraling for no reason. “Is this about the snacks I hid behind the rice cooker? Because I can explain.” Then gets all sulky. “You don’t love me anymore. It’s fine. I’ll move on. Tell the boys I died bravely.” You: “Binnie—” He perks up instantly. “Yes, that’s me. I’m Binnie. Your favorite. Your small strong man.” Pretends he’s joking, but lowkey sensitive about it. Will side-eye you for the rest of the day like a kicked puppy. “You used to call me sunshine… now I’m just Changbin…” Later that night, burrows into your neck like a koala and mumbles, “Don’t say my real name unless we’re getting married or I’m winning an award. It’s scary.” Next morning you wake up to a sticky note on the fridge: “Pet names only 😤 — Binnie ❤️💪🐻”
HYUNJIN
You're normally hitting him with the extra stuff like “angel,” “pretty prince,” “Hyunie,” “dramatic swan,” or “Michelangelo reincarnated.” So when you suddenly go, “Hyunjin, can you pass me the remote?” He goes dead silent. Eyes narrow. Jaw clenches. Paintbrush stops mid-stroke. “Excuse me?” he says like you just slapped him with a Shakespearean glove. “What happened to ‘baby’? ‘Love of my life’? ‘Muse of my soul’? Am I not your walking masterpiece anymore?” You: “I just wanted to say your name.” Hyunjin: “YOU SAY MY NAME WHEN YOU’RE CRYING INTO MY ARMS DURING A MOVIE, NOT TO ASK FOR THE REMOTE.” Paces dramatically like he’s in a K-drama about to turn evil. “I should’ve known this day would come. You’ve grown tired of me.” Actually gets quiet after that. Not sad just way too in his head. “...Do I need a new nickname? Have I lost my sparkle? Is my forehead too big today?” Ten minutes later, comes back with a list. “So I brainstormed some new pet names in case ‘Hyunjin’ is your new thing. Options include: ‘my gorgeous chaos,’ ‘hot disaster,’ or just ‘🌹.’ Thoughts?” You: “Hyunie, please chill.” He immediately melts. “THERE IT IS. I forgive you. Come cuddle me.” Bonus: if you call him “Hwang Hyunjin” he’ll drop to the floor like he’s been shot. “DON’T USE MY FULL NAME UNLESS I’M GRADUATING OR GETTING ARRESTED.”
HAN
Usually, you call him things like “baby,” “sungie,” “gremlin boy,” “my tiny chaos,” or whatever weird affectionate name pops into your head at 3 a.m. So when you go, “Jisung, can you help me with this?” He turns his head so fast it’s a miracle he doesn’t sprain something. He squints at you like you just betrayed him in a Mafia game. “Who? Who’s that? Never heard of him. Sounds like a loser.” You: “It’s literally your name.” Han: “Yeah but why would you use it? Did a demon possess you?” Immediately starts being weird about it. “Jisung? What’s next? You gonna call me ‘sir’? Should I put on a suit?” Then it hits him. He gasps. “Wait. Are we roleplaying? Is this serious? Do I need a fake backstory? I’m ready. I’m a barista who secretly writes music and you’re my mysterious customer with a tragic past.” You: “I just wanted the scissors.” Han: “Oh. Right.” Pretends he’s fine but keeps dramatically sighing and dropping hints. “Remember when you used to call me your little peanut butter cup? Good times.” Later you call him “babe” like normal and he immediately clings to you like a koala. “Thank god. I thought we were over. I was already writing a breakup mixtape in my head.” But now that you know it messes with his head, you start using “Jisung” just to be chaotic. He falls for it every time. One serious "Jisung" and he’s spiraling again. “What did I do now? I swear I didn’t eat your leftovers. That was Seungmin. Probably. Maybe.” Bonus: If you ever hit him with “Han Jisung,” he will crawl under the blanket and refuse to come out. “I’m not coming out until you say ‘gremlin baby boy of my heart’ again.” “You’re weird.”
FELIX
Normally, you call him sweet things like “Lixie,” “baby,” “sunshine,” “my little brownie,” or “deep-voiced angel from heaven.” So when you go, “Yongbok, can you grab my water bottle?” He freezes mid-step like someone just paused his simulation. Turns around slowly with those wide sparkly eyes “Did you just... call me Yongbok?” You: “Yeah?” Felix: “Did I do something wrong? Are you about to fight me? Should I sit down?” Genuinely concerned because no one uses his birth name unless it’s a government form, a relative, or someone trying to guilt trip him with childhood stories. Dramatically puts a hand on his chest “Are you mad at me? Was the hug I gave you earlier not good enough? Do you want a new hug? A deluxe hug?” You: “Felix, I’m literally just dehydrated.” Felix: “Then why are you dehydrating our relationship with this sudden formality?” He walks away muttering “Yongbok… unbelievable…” like you just told him Santa isn't real. Later shows up with your water bottle, two cookies, and a sticker he found “In case you’re mad at me. Even though I don’t know why. But I forgive you.” You: “I’m not mad, I swear.” Felix: “You called me Yongbok. I’ve been emotionally compromised.” The moment you go back to calling him “Lixie,” he lights up like a Christmas tree “There she is. My favorite person. I missed you. Please never disappear again.” Bonus: you try it again the next day just to mess with him. He clutches your arm dramatically “If you say Yongbok one more time, I’m changing your contact name to Tax Collector.”
SEUNGMIN
Usually you call him “minnie,” “puppy,” “smartass,” “grumpy cutie,” or “my favorite hater” depending on the mood. So when you hit him with a straight-faced “Kim Seungmin, can you pass me the charger?” He doesn’t even look up. Just goes, “Who died?” You: “What?” Seungmin: “You’re using my full name like we’re in court and I’m about to be sentenced. What happened. Be honest.” You: “Nothing happened, I just used your name?” Seungmin: “Okay. Well I’m scared now. And slightly offended.” Side-eyes you for a full ten minutes like you insulted his entire bloodline. “First of all, only my mom and my enemies call me Kim Seungmin. Which one are you trying to be right now.” Acts cool but he’s definitely being petty about it. “Sure. Here’s your charger, [Full Name]. Would you like anything else, ma’am?” Pretends he’s fine but starts purposely avoiding your pet names just to throw you off. “Okay, y/n. Cool shirt, y/n. Want some water, y/n?” You: “Are you okay?” Seungmin: “I was until I got government named in my own home.” Eventually you break and call him “puppy” again. He smiles, victorious, smug as hell “That’s what I thought. Now come cuddle me or I’ll start calling you by your email username.” Bonus: next time you say “Kim Seungmin,” he responds with “Present,” like he’s taking attendance “Kim Seungmin?” “Here. Emotionally wounded, but physically present.”
JEONGIN
Normally you call him stuff like “innie,” “baby,” “cutie,” or something unhinged like “my little menace in a hoodie” So when you go, “Yang Jeongin, can you help me with this?” He blinks at you like you just threatened him. “Excuse me. I know you didn’t just first-middle-last name me with your eyes like that.” You: “That’s literally just your name” Jeongin: “That’s a form of violence and I’m calling the authorities” Immediately grabs his phone “Hello, yes, I’d like to report emotional damage. Cause? My partner called me by my birth certificate name with no warning.” Stares at you in disbelief. “What happened to ‘baby’? What happened to ‘my sweet Innie who I adore more than anything’?” Starts dramatically narrating his downfall. “It all started on a rainy Tuesday when she called me Yang Jeongin. My world was never the same.” You: “You’re so dramatic.”Jeongin: “You’re so heartless.” Tries to pretend he’s joking but secretly keeps checking if you’re mad at him for real. “You’re not breaking up with me, right? Because if you are I need at least a week’s notice so I can emotionally prepare and eat ten tubs of ice cream.” You laugh and call him “innie” again. He instantly grins like a puppy and tackles you into a hug. “Okay good. I forgive you. But don’t ever scare me like that again. My heart is fragile.” Bonus: if you call him “Yang Jeongin” again just to mess with him, he’ll start responding with “Yes, [ Full Name], do you need assistance?” and bow like a waiter at a fancy restaurant

Skz meeting a pretty fan
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing: Ot8!skz × Gn!reader (individually)
Genre: fluff, just a tiny little bit of angst, headcanons
Description: their reaction to meeting a pretty fan during a fan meeting
Warnings: kind of love at first sight trope, delusional, some of them are dramatic, they are all idols, not proofread
A/n: the way it's been over a year that this has been in my drafts | daily click
Tumblr media
Bang Chan
He was kinda of tired already so he was zoning out
When he sees you he is like "...oh"
He is so invested in your conversation
If you comment about the production behind the music he will be so happy
Genuinely loves when someone acknowledges his work so his eyes will shine and he will smile so hard while explaining everything to you
He is upset when you need to move on to the next member
Sees you laughing with the other members and he's like 🤨
Wonders what they did that managed to make you laugh that much
Lee Know
He would stare at you
You know when his mouth is open and you can see his eyes shining?
Yeah, that's him right now
You say hello and he would give you his nervous laugh before looking at you again with those stary eyes
I swear he is such a softie
Would listen to every single word that you say, you can tell he is paying so much attention
Autographs something for you and makes a funny drawing as well hoping you'd laugh
Side eyes the staff when they say the time is up
Even when you move to the next member and other fan is talking to him, he would still look at your direction sometimes and get so flustered if you catch him looking at you
Changbin
Starts small talk right away
Will 100% compliment you
You ask him an autograph and he wonders how bad would it be if he gave you his number instead
Like he knows he cannot do that
But maybe if he was sneaky enough...
Doesn't do it by the end but he low-key regrets it for the rest of his life
He will wake up one day after five years and be like "damn I should've given them my number"
And he will make that everyone's problem
The boys can't stand it anymore because they've heard enough about you by now 😭
Convinces himself that he will see you again one day
Hyunjin
He sees you before you see him, so he is panicking
Is looking at the line all the time wondering if you will want to talk to him
Asks han if his hair looks good before it's your turn to talk to him
No but fr, he can't take his eyes off you
When you start talking he is like 😯
You look and sound like an angel, he must be in heaven
Even after the fan meeting he can't stop thinking about you
If he's feeling bold enough, he will definitely flirt with you
Low-key forgot he was an idol and was ready to risk it all for you
Han
Might believe in love at first sight after your meeting
Compliment him once and he will get so shy
Like sir, weren't you the one flirting like two seconds ago🤨
Would feel so betrayed if he isn't your bias LMAO
He has like a minute and a half to convince you he's the best stray kids member and he WILL try that
And he hopes that someone will record his flirty antics and post it on tiktok just so he can find your socials
He will make all the boys stalk the internet to try to find you
"but you can't contact them even if you find their account, so what's the point?" idk bro but he wants to see you again somehow
Felix
SUCH A FLIRT
The moment he looks at you he is already trying to win your heart
Kinda forgot he was an idol pt.2
Except he didn't forget
He just doesn't care
He wants to flirt with you and that's precisely what he will do
Will even flirt through his autograph if he can
Uses any kind of excuse to make physical contact with you ✨
And side eyes the staff when they tell him it's time to move on
Like no it's not??
Seungmin
Actually pretty good at hiding his new crush??
The most normal one out here surprisingly lol
He will be able to cover it up as just "good mood" but let's be for real
It's because of you
Anyways
Will smile so much
If you compliment his smile (please do!) he will get shy but so so happy
Also steals glances when you go to the next member
He'll be talking to the next fan but ends up laughing because of something he heard you say to another one of the boys
The fan is like ?? but Seungmin is able to play it off
I.N
So dedicated to give you a good impression
If you tell him your favourite skz song is one of his solos (or that your favourite has that title because of his vocals) this man is in heaven
Forgot he was an idol pt.3 except he didn't forget
He just lowkey very lowkey didn't want to be an idol in that exact moment
Had it been on any normal occasion he would probably try to charm you over
But this was his job
He couldn't possibly get delulu over a fan 😭 although he was already midway to that
Ends up covering a song you said you thought would fit his voice
Sees the comments of the cover wondering each one of those were yours
