You relax deeper into your husband's arms, smiling as he fondles down your arms and intertwines your hands on your stomach. You can feel his ring against your hand, once more reminded that this is real. You, feeling like a nobody and unworthy of love your whole life, are married to Chan. He plants soft kisses on your hair and shoulder, cuddling you even closer as you both don't really pay attention to the movie but to your shared comfort. 

"Did Lixie say when he'll be back?" you ask curiously. 

"Why am I not enough?" Chan asks, and you can practically hear him pout. 

"Channie, angel," you laugh and roll your eyes playfully. "I'm just wondering. You know how much I love having you both home." 

"I know, I know," he giggles and kisses your cheek fondly. "He said he wouldn't take too long today, whatever that's supposed to mean." 

"Definitely earlier than when you say that," you tease him, and now it's Chan's turn to roll his eyes. 

"Charming, baby girl," he laughs. No matter how much he pretends to be bothered by your teasing, both of your heads shoot up at the sound of the front door opening. 

Felix drags himself into the apartment and beams at the sight of you both. "Look at you two," he smiles and immediately joins you on the floor, practically throwing himself on top of you. 

"Someone's clingy," you giggle. 

"Don't judge me, missed you two," he explains himself tiredly and Chan reaches down to ruffle his hair adoringly. 

"Hey, hubby," he smirks, and Felix hums softly. "Had a good day?"

"Was alright," he mutters and glances up at you. "Make some room? Wanna cuddle too," he pouts. 

You giggle before scooting to the side a little and making space for him. Chan laughs as Felix cuddles right into him, grabbing your hand. "Such a baby." 

"I'm the youngest, fuck off," he grins and pokes your side. 

"No fighting, you two," Chan smirks amused. "You both want cuddles; I have enough love and space for both of you."

Felix giggles and leans over, stealing a kiss from you. "My beautiful Y/nnie," he says and fondles your hair. "You look so cute in my sweater." 

"Thanks," you mumble, blushing heavily at the compliment. You're still so easily flustered with them that it's ridiculous. 

"Look at her blushing," Felix giggles, and Chan glances down at you, cooing at you. 

"It's so easy to make you blush, baby," he giggles delightedly. 

"Fuck off, both of you," you protest half-heartedly, melting on the inside at how excited they get about making you blush. 

"We love you too, cutie," Felix smirks before attacking you with kisses all over your face. 

You try to get away, giggling and yelping in protest as Chan holds you back with a whine. "No leaving, baby girl," he states. "Felix only got here; I still wanna cuddle my babies." 

"Fucks sake, I'm married to two clingy dumbasses," you sigh playfully, annoyed, but cuddle right back into him. You pull Felix into your hug and kiss his fluffy blonde hair. "Glad you're back home." 

"Me too," he smiles. 

Chan kisses both of your heads and squeezes you tightly. "I love you two, but shut up now; I don't wanna miss the movie." 

"As if you paid attention so far," you snort at him but do as he says.

Chan let out a sigh, you said this would be the place you find Felix. Gripping the bottle tight in his palms with his head hung low. Chan can’t help but feel bad. Felix wouldn’t be feeling like this if it wasn’t for him. Maybe you and Felix could’ve worked it out. As much as he loves Felix, Chan could see life slowly drain from your eyes. He couldn’t sit around and let it go on longer.

Felix brings his bottle of beer to his lips taking gulps, letting the sensation cool his scratchy throat from all the crying. Felix could hear the footsteps slowly making their way toward him. Felix slowly shifts his weight so the person coming up to him will only be able to the back of his head.

“I'll have what he is having.” Felix recognized Chan's voice, he didn’t know whether he wanted to punch him or ignore him.

“How did you know I was here?” Chan could barely hear the weak question that he was asked. Chan thanked the bartender, taking a sip of his beer. Chan rarely drinks, but at this moment he hoped that this could open up a doorway to heal his and Felix friendship.

After a few moments of silence Felix turns his head back towards Chan to see him picking at the label on the bottle. “They told you where I would be right?”

“Yes. They were worried about you.” Chan finally got a look at Felix's face. Felix always had this glow that would follow him, everywhere he stepped a room could like up. But right now in this small, smokey bar Felix looks absolutely drained. Like he spent hours going over what happened between you two. How he let you turn into a shell of a person. How he failed you. But what really shook him to his core was how could his best friend be there to pick up the pieces. How Chan can take you and ignore how he still loved you. How you moved on so quickly from a relationship that ended only a month ago.

“Let me guess you are worried too?” Felix scoffs, rolling his eyes, taking the last sips of his drink, slamming it down. Calling the bartender for another. Chan could only watch with sadness at the mess his friend has become.

“Felix man, this isn't a good coping mechanism. You need to go seek someone to talk to. You are gonna drink yourself away.” Chan reached out his hand, gently patting Felix's shoulder. Throwing Chan’s hand off of him he stands up, “Do not touch me chan.”

The bartender getting ready to stop the argument and tell them to leave. Chan just offers a soft smile and a simple wave hoping it gets the message through. The bartender nods, walking away to help the other customers.

“Sorry, I just want to make sure you are okay?”

“Ill be okay when you break up with yn. They were mine first, how could you.” Felix was starting to get frustrated, he trusted chan. He trusted you. And you both played him in his face. He felt dumb, hollow, alone.

“And look how you treated them lix. I had to save them, they were dying.” Chan could remember how full of life you were when you and felix started dating, he could remember when you started losing your spark, when you started living in the shadow of felix.

“Yeah but you ended up killing me instead. You are my best friend, do you know how painful it is to watch them fall in love with you. To watch the way they look at you how they used to look at me?”

“You can’t keep blaming me for your mistake felix. I did nothing but help them and I'm coming to you to try to help you. Please let me help you.” Chan watches the tears slip out of Felix's eyes, running down his face.

“I'm envious of you chan, because the love of my life is now the love of your life and i can’t compete with you. Just leave me alone, seeing you is just reminding me of a shit person I was and I can’t deal with that right now.” Felix sits back on the stool, drinking out his bottle tears staining his cheeks.

Chan nods, placing money on the table to cover his and Felix's tab. Chan gives one more glance at Felix hoping that he may have changed his mind. But Felix continued to ignore Chan, staring out at nothing.

Felix only looks back when he hears the doors open, he wishes he didn’t because there stood you, staring at chan hands clasped together hoping for good news. Felix could see the way your head droops, between the swinging of the door going in and out. And right before it closes, he sees it. Your smile, the one that always dazzled a room.

That is when Felix realized you are the lost of his life.

Part I: Costumes

“Ok boys,” you announced as you jumped onto the bed where the two were relaxing. “spooky season is upon us. It is time to decide on costumes.“

Felix sat up excitedly. “Oh yeah! We have to do something good.”

“Should we go trio again?”

Chan, who was watching tv, paused his video. “It’s one of the fun things about being together. You have to take advantage of it.”

You nodded. “Important question: are either of you opposed to wearing dresses?”

Chan seemed confused but Felix just shrugged. “Nah.” Chan echoed the same sentiment after a moment before adding “Do you have a good idea or do you just want to see us in dresses?”

“Yeah,” Felix added. “Because we’ll do it anytime.”

The thought made you giddy but you refocused. “In that case, we could always go classic trio. Powerpuff Girls!”

The men seemed less than enthused. 

You shrugged “Just a thought.”

“Hmm,” Chan hummed in thought. “What about Ghostbusters?”

“There are 4 Ghostbusters.” You frowned.

He groaned, rolling his eyes. “Ok maybe we just say Stantz is sick.”

Felix shook the mattress as he jumped up and down in excitement. “O! What about Batman, Robin, and Batgirl!”

Your eyes light up. “That’s a great idea!”

Chan sat up, now excited as well. “Good idea, Lix!”

“I wanna be Robin!” the younger says.

“I’ll be Batman. Robin shouldn’t go kissing my girl though.” Chan jests.

He starts searching for costumes on his laptop as Felix protests next to him. “Actually Dick and Barbara were together-” 

“Sure, Boy Wonder.”

Felix jumps on Chan as they begin to play fight. You laugh as you take the laptop and peruse through a list of trio costumes. Some are interesting though less fun than Felix’s idea, others have you cringing at the suggestions.

“Oh what about Woody, Buzz, and Jessie from Toy Story!”

Chan sits up from where he has Felix pinned under him, holding the boy’s wrists in his hand. “Oh that’s a good one too!”

Felix squirms under him. “I wanna be Buzz!”

“Trying to get with my girl again, Lightyear?”

“Buzz and Jessie are together!”

Chan knows that but has fun egging his boyfriend’s ranting on.

Next to them, you add both positively received ideas to the list, knowing you might have to deal with it more later since your boyfriends seem riled up now.

Part II: Party Party...yeah?

Three drunks at party can get rough.

Part of the time you three are glued together, somewhere in the middle of where the dancing is happening, grinding on each other in a way that has people that don’t know you questioning if they’re going to see a threesome and the three of you about to give them that show.

The other times you are all lost in the dim party lighting unsure of when you separated. You become aware of the lack of warmth you’re used to and drunkenly look for your boyfriends. Thankfully, you find your oldest boyfriend with a trash bag. Somehow he’s managed to clean part of the kitchen in the time you lost track of him. With a groan, you take the bag from him. “We need to find Lixxie. I’m tired and the music is making me want to hit someone.”

He seems to sober up ever so slightly, recognizing you’re at the point where you can’t handle being around other people like this. Last time he and Felix insisted on you staying with them you ended up passing out in a linen closet and they couldn’t find you for three hours.

He takes your hand intending to lead you but you walk much faster. You want to find your third before you start crying. Alcohol and your emotions make for a rollercoaster when you aren’t careful. 

And with the way the three of you were downing "ghost shots" when you arrived, you weren’t careful at all.

Chan spots the blonde in his Robin costume. You didn’t see him at first but saw the man sifting through the bowl of candy as you approached. 

“You remember we have candy at home right?” Chan says making Felix jump. He was barely phased by the older being strangely close, instead, his attention turned to your purse. “Yeah, but this is free candy.” He gently tugs you closer to him by the strap. You’re confused for a second, not having paid attention too much thanks to how good he looks in his costume, until you realize what he’s doing. He unzips your bag, dumping his loot in. The purse is more decorative than anything else but he doesn’t seem to care much.

“Technically our candy IS free for you because I bought it.” Chan chastises though doesn’t try to stop him. Clearly, he wasn’t listening anyway as he took a final mini snicker before zipping the bag.

He finally looks up at you, whining. “Can we go home now?”

Chan rolls his eyes probably muttering how that is why you both came to find him but you're so endeared by him you just nod and take his hand.

Part III: Back to Bed

Coming into the house was already alleviating the pressure you felt. As if you couldn’t stand it anymore you started to strip as you made for the bedroom immediately. Felix follows suit, mask then cape, before basically breaking the back of the outfit to pull it down around his waist. Chan starts cleaning up behind you two silently.

By the time you flop back on the bed, you’ve somehow managed to pull yours completely off.

Chan sees Felix struggling with the tightness of the pants. You open your eyes at the grunt Felix lets out. As you watch Chan start to strip Felix you feel the sparks of arousal. Felix in turn helps your Batman do the same. Your mind starts to delve further into desire as he fixes Chan’s hair after undressing him. It’s short-lived as Felix pouts, putting his arms out to hug you but tackling you backward onto the bed instead. You laugh as you stroke his head. His hair tickles you while he buries his face in your neck. You look up, wondering why Chan hasn’t joined yet. 

Silently, he’s picking up everything on the floor. You watch for a moment as he flints around the room like a fairy, cleaning the tornado that is his drunken partners. You laugh to yourself as you get up. Doing as you did earlier, you take the discarded costume from his hand. He looks confused but lets you lead him to the bed. You sit on the bed, holding his hand to drag him with you as you scoot back. Felix finds you again with his eyes still closed as Chan lays on his back with a deep sigh. 

The alcohol settles in your system again as you feel how tired you are. 

Chan seems to feel the same. “Only two more to go.”

“Huh?” you look over to him, his hands behind his head and his eyes closed.

He opens an eye to peek at you. “Minho’s party is next week.” Chan states.

“And our company party is on Halloween.” Felix adds.

You groan loudly rolling to your side to curl into a ball. Somehow you’d forgotten it was only the 20th. “We shoulda just gone as ghosts.”

Felix laughs and he sits up resting on your side. “Sounds like more free candy to me.”

“I thought you hated those,” Felix teases, leaning against the door frame. He's grinning, hands in his pockets. The bastard. 

Right before he’d arrived home, Chris had been gnawing on a particularly squeaky toy, lounging on the couch. But as soon as he heard Felix's soft steps come down the hallway, he stuffed the toy between the couch cushions and pulled a throw blanket over him to try and mask some of the humiliation he felt. He'd greeted Felix with a smile– asked him about his day at work, offered to order him some dinner while he washed up. But as soon as he heard the bathroom door shut, he'd been right back to cautiously pinching the toy between his teeth to relieve the pressure in his gums.

He feels silly now, as he somehow managed to get distracted enough by the sensation that he didn't hear Felix approaching.

Although embarrassed, ears red and cheeks dusted pink, it helps relieve his nerves to see the absolute fondness spread across Felix’s face. 

Chris huffs and spits the toy out, holding it up to examine the array of teeth marks on it. “They actually help," he admits begrudgingly, sniffing at the toy and scrunching his nose. He should probably brush his teeth. Blood breath doesn't smell pleasant, even to him.

“Well, I'm glad they do," Felix walks over and runs his fingers back through Chris’ hair– it's dry and fried, but the conditioner he bought recently has been doing some serious work, "'cause it's actually pretty cute." Felix's fingers get stuck on a small knot, and Chris hums contentedly, leaning into the touch and letting his eyes flutter closed. Having Felix close to him is like a balm, soothing over his brain in such a comforting way.

“I do prefer the ones that don’t make noise, though." He gives the toy a squeeze. "These kinda make me feel like a dog.”

Felix grins and kisses the top of Chris’ head, scratching behind one of his ears. “You mean you don't wanna be my puppy? How sad."

Chris whines and cranes his head back, staring up into Felix's dark eyes. He still has makeup on, smudged from the day and still beautiful. "At least I'm not chewing on your fingers, right?" He pouts, tilting his head in a way that's certainly not doglike.

Felix can't help but to bend down and kiss him. Even has the audacity to chuckle into Chris' mouth. "Not like I'd complain if you were."

"I'll keep that in mind," Chris whispers, nipping at Felix's bottom lip with a soft chuckle. Felix swats him half heartedly as he pulls away.

He swings himself across the corner and picks something up in a little bag. "Speaking of, by the way–" Chris perks up, scooting over so Felix can join him on the couch. "–since you're basically teething–"

"–I'm not a toddler!"

"Since you're basically teething," Felix repeats, amusement in his voice as he places the bag on Chris' lap, "I figured something like this might work a little better."

Opening the bag, Chris' eyes go wide. It's another dog toy, but this one appears to be made out of... rope? Or something similar in material, at least.

"It's a fucking tug of war toy," Chris says, mildly exasperated but not at all upset. He's actually sort of ecstatic about it, especially now that he's really feeling how rough the texture is. He's almost starting to drool just thinking about how satisfying it'll feel against his itching gums.

"Bought it on the way home," Felix says, smiling happily. Always glad to be helpful, always trying to make Chris' life, or afterlife, better. "Try it," he encourages. And Chris certainly can't deny him.

Chris turns the toy in his hand and tentatively nips at the edge of it. His fangs poke into the material slightly, but at least this one can’t deflate (which is good, since he's popped at least three of the plastic ones in the past few weeks). After a few experimental chomps, he takes it between his cheek and teeth and chews, audibly moaning as the scratchy surface scrapes his gums. He can't even help it, it truly feels that good. A relief he hasn't had in days.

"I love it," Chris mumbles around the fabric, reaching out to pull Felix closer. Melting into his embrace.

Felix giggles, moving a hand up to scratch gently at Chris’ scalp again. He leans in close, lips brushing the shell of his ear, and whispers, “Good boy."
